    Margherita

The margherita was out of charred, rustic territory and done into burntness yet the middle part was kind of doughy. The middle part of the pie was paper thin and not holding up well underneath the cheese and sauce. The cheese was overly bland and the sauce had the flavor of an off-brand tomato paste. I would have loved more FRESH basil. The thin pepperoni tasted great. Otherwise, this is a 5 star location for a Neapolitan pizza joint and I left so disappointed.

One of my favorite pizza spots in LA, located at the Sportsman Lodge. The vibe is casual and relaxed, with tons of outdoor seating and heaters, making it a great spot even on cooler evenings. It's also dog-friendly, which is always a plus! My go-to is the spicy pepperoni pizza -- thin, crisp, and perfectly balanced with a little kick. Heads up: this pizza doesn't travel well, so definitely enjoy it on-site with a glass of wine or beer. Parking is easy with a large lot right at the venue, making it super convenient for a casual night out. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, and reliably delicious -- this one stays on our rotation.

A nice surprise. Real deal pizza! The house bread is incredible. Service super friendly. Unfortunately I can't give 5 stars because charging us $2 for less than 2oz of olive oil to add to my pizza is unheard... and they didn't even tell us it would be charged when I asked about it. If I knew it maybe I wouldn't be that mad, but I really NEVER seen that charge in ANY pizzaria in ANY part or the world... including USA.

Great tasting pizza but kinda pricey. They only serve whole pies no slices. I got the original and it was served piping hot although there were some really burnt pieces of the crust. Waited about 10 minutes for a freshly baked pie. There's seating both inside and outside. Restaurant is located at the Sportsman's Lodge shops so they have free parking for the first 90 minutes.

Eh overall. The fresh baked bread with the straticella was the best part of the whole meal. The Bee Sting pizza was floppy (yes, even for a neopolitan style pizza) and the honey didn't really add anything to it. Meatballs were average. Also pretty wild to be charging $3 for a tiny side of ranch- to be fair the nice server warned us about the charge but then I was expecting mind blowing ranch at that price. It wasn't. Very casual spot in the cute studio city shopping center - more casual than I expected having visited the Culver City location, and the menu seems smaller too.

Roberta's food is high quality and delicious. Staff is kind. My only wish is that it was somewhere other than the Shops at the Sportsman's Lodge. I wish it were on Ventura Blvd. or Ventura Place. Parking at the Shops at the Sportsman's Lodge can be challenging and at times keeps me from going to Roberta's more often. I also wish they were on UberEats in addition to DoorDash. All of that said. Their food is worthy of a visit. Many visits. Their pizza crust is yummy. Ingredients are always fresh and everything I have tried on the menu has been tasty!!!

The pizza was good, and light. We got the Margherita. Only thing was every single table in the establishment was dirty. People, kept walking in and right out when they couldn't find a clean table. Bathroom was clean.

I can't remember the name of this pizza. Show it to the waiter. It's perfect!

I would have given the restaurant 5 stars if they didn't have multiple items missing. But the pizza, like in Brooklyn was excellent. We got the Bee Sting pizza and one with sausage. We also started with the Green Lettuces. We annihilated everything in 15 minutes. Delicious!!

Why did they throw my sandwich together like nothing? Where the red onion? Why isn't the lettuce chopped? Were you mad at me?
    Jan A.

I'd really like to know if the person who made my Italian sandwich on 10/14/25 was mad at me? They threw it together like nothing. No red onion, didn't even try to chop up the lettuce, and I assume other missing ingredients because it didn't taste good like before... it went from being a favorite to a huge disappointment. Would you like to spend 20$ on a sandwich that's inedible/gross? Never again.

This place would definitely get a 5/5 if the price was a bit more reasonable. For these two personal pizzas, it was over $50. However, if you can get over the exorbitant prices, this pizza is delicious. Both the margherita and bee sting are great, with the bee sting having a hot honey drizzle over the top.

Must try their "bee sting" pizza. So good! Both inside and outside seating. They also have high chairs for kids if needed

Roberta's is a pizzeria at the Sportsman's Lodge Plaza. Here's a quick pros/cons list: Pros: - Nice outdoor seating - Yummy pizza - Dog friendly - Tasty beer Cons: - Expensive - Servers brought out the pizza, but refused to bring napkins (get them yourself, they said nicely) -Parking is the usual at the Sportsman's Lodge - stressful and intense Roberta's is definitely worth a visit, and I'll drop in from time to time when the mood strikes. But given the cost and the parking, it's a now and then place for me.

Your pizza looks great! Any vegan options?

We have some great vegan options, both pizza and salads. We try to keep our menu seasonal so some options might rotate in or out but we will always have something for our vegan friends :)

Can you call to order pick-up?

No, as many times as I've been there I've never heard a phone ring or seen a phone number listed anywhere. You have to order and pick up in person.

    Yes! Through Door-Dash.

The menu was smaller than expected. Our group of four shared the caesar salad, meatballs, pepperoni pizza, and roasted mushroom pizza. The appetizers came out quickly, but the pizzas took a while due to what seemed like a miscommunication. They were waiting for us to finish our starters before bringing them out. The pizzas were easy to share, though a bit salty. The pepperoni pizza also had a few overly burnt slices on the bottom. Service was a little confusing. We ordered at the register, had to flag someone down for water, and weren't quite sure if it was self-service or not. Overall, the food was good and the patio has a great vibe, but it's not a spot I'd go out of my way to revisit.

I'd suggest looking for street parking along 3rd St. if you can. There's also a parking structure nearby. The first time we came, we ordered a whole pie, half supreme and half BBQ chicken. It also came with ranch that tasted freshly made. The supreme was great. You could taste a little bit of spice from the sausage, and all the other toppings worked really well together. I also really liked the crust. It had a nice crunch to it without being too hard. Came back for a second time and got another whole pie, this time half supreme and half white. The white pizza was good. It had fresh mozzarella, garlic, and seasoning on top, and the crust was just as good as I remembered. I think adding something like mushrooms would make it even better. It is pretty cheesy though, so I could see more than one slice being a little too much for some people. The supreme was just as good as the first time. I'd definitely keep coming back. I think next time I'm going to try one of their square pizzas.

My friend and I dropped by around 2 pm and it was bustling. They have a number of pizzas available by the slice in the display, so it was super easy to pick a couple slices and eat quickly before heading out. Most of the pizzas available by slice were vegetarian, with only a handful of meat options. I wish they had the meat lovers available by slice. All slices were in the $5-6 range. We got: -Sicilian -Grandma -BBQ chicken -Spicy pepperoni I wasn't expecting much, but surprisingly I really enjoyed the pizza here. The crust was nice and crispy for all the slices. My favorites were the bbq chicken and the Sicilian (because of the pesto), but they were all solid. My only complaint is that it was a hot day out, and I wish the inside of the restaurant was cooler.

The pizza here is so killer, I was nodding my head(Yes!)as I was eating it. I rarely do this. The crust was so thin, the cheese had great flavor, and the cupped pepperoni added a salty richness. The regular cheese pie I got, which I assume has the same sauce on it, did not taste salty or odd like the sicilian. Their Monday deal of a XL cheese pie for $15 is a great deal. Now the few not so good things this second time. There is no parking. They have a small alleyway with maybe 6-8 parking spots on the side of the pizzeria. Considering the place was pretty empty when I came midday but the lot was full, I have to assume staff take the spots. No street parking. You're supposed to be able to pull out of the alleyway by going forward and turning into another alleyway that crosses the parking alleyway. Unfortunately, there was a motorcycle someone was working on or just left there so you could not get past the bike and the car parked in the last spot. I had to back out onto the busy main street, which was dangerous. Also annoying is that the menu has zero prices, and it's not like the girl at the counter knows the prices. She had to punch in whatever I asked the price to on her tab in order to give me a price. When I asked how much for toppings added, she couldn't give me a concrete answer. Even more frustrating is that the prices on your bill will not match what you were quoted. I think what they quote is the price plus tax, and then the bill has the real prices and all the tax bundled together at the bottom, so it's near impossible to figure out the cost of each item. Who doesn't have a menu with prices?! I do not like this!
