Im 40 weeks + 5 pregnant and decided to come here to try THE salad! I'll update in the progress but wanted to leave a good review since I was super surprised with the food and service! The inducing salad is good - a little harsh after a while but doable. Ordered the breakfast sandwich which was delicious and the service was so good! Paul was our server and he was so kind! Loved the vibe here and having my bay come on time will be such a bonus.

Garlic knots

Service was good, cafe layout is good. However I'm kinda disappointed about the food. The garlic knots were decent but tasted like they were just warmed up not made fresh. The salad was not good. And the pasta (I believe penne alla vodka?) it tasted like something that someone could easily make at home it was watery and had barely had taste to it. Overall pretty average place; not the worst but not the best either.

Greek scramble with a side of tater tots and sourdough toast.

Summary: Food for me was 3 stars but service and ambiance was 4 stars therefore overall 4 stars. Pricing was pretty competitive with portions ($15.50 for my plate which kept me fueled for 6+ hours.) Got brunch with friend. Ordered Greek scramble with tater tots instead of standard potatoes on the side, and a cappuccino. Scramble was ok, although I did like the touch of kalamata olives. Added good flavor. Tater tots were awesome and the cappuccino pretty good as well. Staff were very friendly. I liked the interior of the cafe; cute place to hang. I think if I were to come again I'd probably aim to do a lunch and try the pizza instead to get a better sense of the food quality.

Had an excellent breakfast at Caioti - it's so easy to forget this place exists when Aroma is just down the block, but after seeing the very long line at Aroma, we changed to Caioti. My friend and I got the Mateo's breakfast pizza, and the Rizz omelette with tots. The breakfast pizza was fantastic - I had randomly had a breakfast pizza elsewhere the previous day that had been such a flavorless disappointment, but this one was delicious. The omelette was solid, and had lovely full cloves of roasted garlic hidden inside, and the tots were delicious. Service was friendly.

I had the bison meat pizza!! Grilled onions topped this cheesy and delicious master piece. The flavor was perfect and they're gonna tell you for the price. You really don't find a lot of places like this, but I had to have a bowl of the lentil soup. My companion enjoyed the iced coffee and it was delicious. The seating area is large and perfect for large parties or families and then out front. You can enjoy outdoor seating with a nice little fenced in area. I was very impressed. I enjoyed the pizza tremendously. The meat was flavored and seasoned perfectly.

I always enjoy the build-your-own pizza and the variety of pasta options available. There are plenty of seats, the staff is always welcoming, and the ambience is laid-back and chill, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal.

Bad pizza

I've been eating here for over a decade but the last year their food has gone way down. I ordered a pizza and salad through the worst delivery app on the planet, but the only one they use (slice) and the pizza arrived the size of a small with no sauce. Honestly, frozen pizza is better. I'm not even sure what this crust is, but it's bad!! I've been debating not ordering from them again. Today clinched it. Do not recommend !!

This place is a must go. Had brunch here this morning and truthfully, we were walking by to eat at Aroma Cafe but stumbled across the menu at Caioti and wanted to check it out. I'm glad we did because this is so much better than Aroma. Our wonderful server, Gloria, welcomed and took care of us. She recommended the foods and drinks we ordered and they were absolutely delicious. Lobster Ravioli $22.95 - 5/5 Corn Beef Hash $15.45 - 4/5 I cannot get over how tasty the lobster ravioli was. It was coated in chipotle cream which complimented the seafood very well. Overall, the dining experience was great. It wasn't loud, plenty seating, bathroom is clean. The only thing is parking can be scarce. I can't wait to dine here again.

Came here for the salad and within 24 hours went into labor! The staff is so friendly and sweet! I also love that the staff has a journal for you to sign of your due date with little sweet notes to other mamas and your baby!

I should probably have ordered a pizza her but for some reason I chose the Chinese chicken salad and was disappointed. It was made with kale that was really hard to chew and the grilled chicken on top smelled of their gas stove. The dressing was ok but overall very disappointing. I fixed that by ordering myself a delicious scone and cappuccino. The location is great, the service is great with great atmosphere. Both indoor and outdoor seating is available. I'll be back to try their pizzas and pastas and sandwiches soon.

Cold bagel and terrible chai

I rarely give any cafe one star bc how bad can you mess up coffee? Coffee bland. Chai latte was made from those premade boxes. Bagel took over 25 minutes to come out. Felt like someone forgot to serve it bc it was cold even though it was toasted. Will never be back here.

Hello! Anyone 0 cm Dilated, eat the salad and it kickstarted labor? I'm 39 weeks and still at 0 cm dilated and was wondering if anyone ate the salad in my position and it actually did anything for them? Thank you in advance ❤

Yes, it just worked for my girlfriend. She was at 0 cm. Went into labor 10 hrs later. Baby was born 26 hrs after eating salad.

Is the labor salad dressing vegan? I know the salad has cheese, but if you take the cheese out of the labor salad is it vegan?

Yes that makes the salad vegan, but if you take the cheese off the salad then it no longer works as intended.

Can I get the maternity salad dressing online or shipped to me?

Unfortunately they don't ship

Who got in labor after this salad!? i heard it's a dressing?

I ate it Sunday at 1:10p and went into labor at 4:51p same day. Had my baby at 12:12a... I was 39w6d tho

From my first call to restaurateur Eric to make a reservation earlier in the week, the experience was as warm and personable as can be. Within minutes of our arrival, we were greeted by co-restaurateur Antonio, and we instantly felt like family at the beautiful, private table they had thoughtfully reserved for us by the window. Our wonderful server, Jessica, made the night even brighter. We started with some Peach Puree Bellini Prosecco that was crisp, refreshing, and beyond amazing. The food arrived with impressive speed, but the quality was truly second to none. My wife absolutely loved the special of the night--a Tiger Shrimp and Asparagus Linguini--and my Angus Beef Bolognese with savory short rib ragu was easily the best I've ever had. Antonio and Jessica checked on us frequently, chatting about the day and the amazing history of the restaurant. This was NOT just a night out at a "restaurant." This was quite literally getting together with family and having the time of our lives. Prosecco Trattoria is not "just another place to eat"--it is now our favorite home away from home for artfully prepared food and drinks. To Eric, Antonio, and Jessica: thank you for welcoming us into your family for such a special milestone!

The hubby wanted to eat out Italian for a cozy Sunday, holiday evening. And have never ventured here in Toluca Lake; and what an elegant, delight! Jessica was our server. She made our experience delectable, truly! Noticed every detail, and with warm humor. She recommended my husband read the desert menu aloud, for the romance of it all. And it works and that's true! Hehe I ordered the 4-cheese Ravioli in tomatoe sauce, and it's unlike any I've EVER had. It's about 5 inches in diameter, round+ mostly flat, and not too salty. Absolutely delicious! Jessica offered to sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top, the service! Unmatched. The Italian seasoning added to the tomatoe sauce, makes it sweeter, aromatic. If you're familiar with my reviews, I'm always searching for vegetarian options. For desert we had the Panna Cotta with wild berries. Excellent, yummy! And we kept it cozy, with mint hot tea. Which is always a go-to around the Xmas holidays. The decor is northern Italian elegance: hand painted art, crystal chandeliers, and white linens abound. Reminds me of when we hiked the hills of Tuscany. With the holiday touch of twinkle lights and fresh winter floral bouquets. It seems most locals frequent here: Are known by name, and had the front door held open for them if elderly. What sweet, kindness and local vibes. We'll be back, to try perhaps the chicken the hubby says. :) Thank you all for an exceptional, romantic Sunday night dinner with my Hubby, during the holidays.

The trattoria had low lighting and looked like a romantic little Italian villa with Sinatra music lilting in the background. It felt much more a date night place than a business dinner. First, the wine list by the glass had excellent, very interesting and offbeat selections. The bottle selection was really superb. Then, as a starter, we shared a white bean and lobster appetizer. It tasted absolutely amazing ... and a dish that neither of us had tried before. Our very seasoned and polite waiter told us we would enjoy it. Next, he had the lobster ravioli, and I had the salmon. Both were really cooked to perfection and wowed us. Lastly, for dessert, we split this most amazing pistachio gelato that came cut into slices with finely chopped pistachios sprinkled on top and a most delish type of pistachio paste?? inside. Especially when dipping and mixing it with the empanadas -- it added so much flavor and made everything even better. My partner ordered the steak and said it was tasty, but a little too oily for his preference. The same with the grilled vegetables -- they were literally soaking in oil on the plate. That was probably the only downside for us. The service was friendly and attentive, and the ambience made it feel cozy and perfect for a date night or special occasion. We still left full and happy and enjoyed celebrating our anniversary there.

Instead of traditional croutons they use toasted crumbs, and honestly it was a game changer. The texture worked perfectly with the dressing. For our mains we had the Dover sole piccata which was bright, buttery, and exactly what we were craving, along with the seafood linguine that was rich and flavorful.
