I used to live in Glendale by the galleria. It was convenient. Then they opened more in other malls and just recently a nice restaurant in Glendale. The food quality is consistent so are the portions. Authentic Persian flavors grilled to perfection. My son and I shared the koubideh plate. We chose one chicken one beef. It came with rice, grilled tomato, grilled jalapeño, pita bread and a side salad. The beef tasted good but the chick was a bit rubbery. The salad was delicious. My wife and I were taking a walk in the Van Nuys/Sherman Oaks park near the mall and decided to stop by the food court to get a bite to eat to take home for dinner. My wife stopped here and started by ordering a A la Carte Chicken Kabor Boneless and had a nice conversation with Mabel, who was really helpful as my wife was trying to figure out what to order on the side. Mabel and she talked and ended up also getting a taster each of Humus, Cucumber Yogurt Dip, Taboule, Picked Red Cabbage Salad, Ikhra, Baba Ganosh and Red Bean Salad for $1 each as well as a Shirazi Salad taster for $2.65. Mabel was very helpful, spent lots of time talking with my wife, which was really nice. Once we got home my wife enjoyed the various tasters as well as the Chicken Kabob. This is the work restaurant I have been too. I asked for steak filet rare so the girl said there's only medium but she will put the note as rare. I get a well done steak. When I went back to have them order the girl with glasses had attitude with me and said I had said medium. When I snapped back she told me not to get attitude. She started to cook my meat and overcooked it. When I told her you overcooked the meat she said no it's not supposed to be bloody. She told me she knows what she's doing but obviously she does not know what rare means. I paid 16.00 for my meal and they charge for a small hummus.
