I ordered 3 Lb of meat selection. When I picked up my order and got home, I noticed that package was very light. It turned out the container with my 3 lbs of meat was actually 900gramms with the container itself, bread, peppers , onions and everything else that was there BESIDES meat! People at the pickup window told me that order was for 3 lbs of row meat. So, I guess that meat shrinks in weight for over 30%. It's like people never grilled meat at home and don't know how much meat shrinks during BBq. I was going to that place for many years and know people by names. Very disappointed that crew is cheating and stilling meat. My Less Than 900 grams of meat costs me $43! How is that ok with the owners of that place?! They just lost at least 3 long time customers... Stumbled upon them by accident and noticed they have 2 entry points...one to order take out & another for actual dine-in. I chose take out and everything's made fresh to order so it took about 25 minutes. Both plates came with generous amount of fresh lavash, meat, rice/potatoes & they had pre packed salads in case you want to take home more then just the sides. The meat was tender & seasoned well, especially the steak kabobs. The xinkali is huge...i could barely eat 2 pieces. Its $2.50 each. Overall glad i found them. Will definitely order again. read more

Tl:Dr : I asked for NO PEPPERS with my order and the order came with peppers. I called to understand why they gave me a something I specifically didn't ask for, the worker insulted me, called me a bitch and hung up. TERRIBLE SERVICE If I could give 0 stars I would. This place is absolutely terrible namely the customer service is the worst I've ever experienced. When we ordered we specifically asked for the staff NOT TO PUT spicy peppers with my order. When I got home and opened the box with my food there were four giant spicy peppers in the box with my food. I called back to the restaurant and asked why there were peppers when I SPECIFICALLY ASKED THEM NOT TO PUT PEPPERS, they just said "if you don't like it then throw it away" and the girl on the phone proceeded to insult me calling me a bitch. When I asked for the manager she replied with "they won't help you, they're not here" and hung up. THE SERVICE IS ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. THE STAFF IS RUDE AND DOESN'T CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. Ok the food is really good not going to lie but I don't know what they get out of being so rude and mean. Like walking in there is like walking on eggshells the staff ignores you for a good ten minutes and when they notice you they roll their eyes like a customer is such an inconvenience. They also take forever to get the food ready and I thought maybe I was being over dramatic until I timed it and it took them 30 minutes to hand it over. There is honestly a reason why their ratings are so low. And mainly because of customer service. I called in on a Tuesday to place an order for 20 fried khinxali around 8 pm, mind you they close at 9pm. The lady rudely responded "No more orders today". I repeated myself and said, "I need to place an order for tomorrow". She proceeded to take my order with an attitude. I placed it for 6:00pm on a weekday. I show up at 6:10 with her to take my payment rudely, with that same attitude. Not only am I waiting additional time for my order that I had placed for a certain time to pick up I get my order and it's completely wrong. This place is disgusting. Their food is not even all that. It's Christmas Eve and my mom ordered food from here (once again). We have been ordering from here for years, but I don't understand why... it's not even that great. Anyway, my cousins and I go to pick up the food, at 7PM, which was the time promised. We wait about 30 minutes along with a room full of other upset customers - I kindly suggest that they call us once the food is ready so that we may return and not wait in a crowded space. I go out of my way to let them know that I notice how busy they are and that it's Christmas, etc. A lady takes my number down with a smile and promises me a call back once our order is ready in less than 30 minutes. NEVER come here, I mean it! The one time I dined in last year, the food was really nothing special and the service was not good. I figured I wouldn't return until today while driving for Postmates, I was asked to pickup an order from Golden Fork. I figured it would be fine for pickup because I wouldn't be the one eating the food, and I usually like to give second chances anyway incase of new management. So I arrive and was told my total. I brought out my Postmates credit card, as the brunette woman (who seemed like the manager??) rudely told me that they only accept debit. I told her that wasn't a debit card as she put my card in the machine and told me to enter my pin. I politely explained that I work for a delivery service and that this was the company's credit card. She refused my card again, so I told her I have to cancel the delivery on my Postmates app. I cancelled the delivery (and wasted my time) and this woman did NOT seem to understand. She asked me to call the customer and I told her that now that I've had to cancel, I can't contact the customer. She then proceeded to tell me to go NEXT DOOR TO THE LIQUOR STORE TO PULL CASH OUT OF THEIR ATM (again not understanding that I didn't have a debit card). At this point I felt pretty frustrated. She said "you don't have ANY cash on you?" I felt so unappreciated as a potentially paying customer. She went on to tell me how this hurts her business and then yelled in another language to the other employees. I told her there is absolutely nothing that I can do and I understand her inconvenience, but that I'm also inconvenienced because her restaurant doesn't accept credit cards. As a Postmates employee, I know that Postmates support calls the restaurant to place the order before I arrive. Therefore, it really shocks me that she wouldn't notify Postmates (or ANY paying customer) via phone that they don't accept credit. This place really needs to step up their customer service and I definitely won't be returning. read more

The food here is delicious! It's the reason why I come back time after time even though the service is slooow. It's definitely not a "quick dinner or bite to eat". It's more a "family time and conversation dinner". With that said, the slow service is overlooked because time passes as you catch up with your dinner company or maybe some office work if dinning alone. Everytime I come there's always a celebration at a table and the hospitality of other diners are welcoming and warm. So don't be surprised if your greeting with a celebratory shot of vodka or cognac. It's a great way to start a dinner and make new friends. The food is Armenian/Russian and you can see the staff make your meal freshly prepared as it is ordered. Probably one of the many reasons why the wait for service and food is long, besides there's only one server. Also, there is an additional charge to use credit/debit cards vs cash. I know it's against the majority of merchant terminal contracts but after some visits here and everyone feels like friends it's easier to overlook.
