The team did an amazing job! Considering how many people showed up at the truck all at once, they worked at a very fast pace without stopping. Been meaning to try this place out for a while. First and foremost, the correct address is: 12122 Magnolia Blvd, Valley Village, CA 91607 (by the large parking lot next to other food trucks). Had the chicken shawarma and the beef shawarma (mild for both because I didn't know their spice levels). Both were great but the beef was definitely more flavorful. They are juicy and very filling. They have cabbage inside which is unusual but it works. I got the pitas as they recommended - tomato pita for the beef and spinach pita for the chicken (I recommend asking them). Got all the side sauces so we could try them and they were fantastic. Also ordered a side of fries which were hot crispy and tasty. I would suggest pre ordering as it can take a little while until your order is ready. But it's so worth it. Prices are pretty reasonable for the sizes you get. I am intrigued to try other items such as their beef stroganoff. The staff was very friendly and helpful with recommendations. read more

These guys do a great job of it. The wraps are fresh, tastey, and beautifully prepared. I especially love the lamb and the freshly pickled veg that "brings it home"! I got the lamb "shawerma" wrap and was quite disappointed. I would say the only thing resembling shawerma is the pita wrap. lamb was chunks, not flakes. It was prepapared from frozen, not on fresh skewer on the flame like you think for shawarma. So much added sauces that flavors are incoherent mess. Cabbage wouldn't be my choice of veggies to go with lamb. Specifically asked for no mayo however mayo was all over. Service was good but not that quick. buzzer is a nice idea. Overall, ingredients , taste and price makes me not recommend lamb shawarma wrap. read more

Soooo delicious that I wanted to steal the second part by my husband. I don't usually eat meat or chicken because it's heavy food but here was so tasty and light that I couldn't stop eating. This place is amazing! They don't skimp on anything. I got beef for me and chicken for my husband. They were both delicious. I wanted to save half for lunch the next day but kept going back for one more bite. The next day I had a quarter left and after I ate it, I seriously wanted to go back for more. Peter is super nice. Established in 2018.

Cosmodrome's story started back in 2018, when two friends were making dinner for their wives. They served Shish-Kebab wrap for that night and after tasting the food entire table was incredibly surprised with the result. Time passed by and those two friends started inviting different friends and sharing their culinary art. More and more people were enjoying their food and they decided expand and deliver exceptional service to mass population.

Though this review doesn't do Rustic Spoon much justice, I would highly recommend swinging by. I will, I would love to try some more traditional flavors such as the different curries and soups. Order and pay at the counter, bring your number to a table and wait for a runner to bring your food. The interior is clean, spare and roomy, but with the cold-ish feel of a market that's had tables added rather than a true "restaurant." Chains like Joan's On 3rd or Le Pain Quotidien are the models, repeated by privately owned places like Claudine in Encino or Pascal in Canoga Park (probably the best of the lot). They're all convenient, family-friendly, good for groups, and often disappointing. We dropped in for Sunday breakfast and were greeted by a gregarious guy at the counter who felt the need to call me "buddy," despite the fact that I'm neither a feisty terrier or a 4-year old holding a toy dinosaur. We placed our order and found a table, and our drinks were quickly brought to us. My wife set about fixing her coffee the way she likes it (using wood stirrers because no spoon was brought), and I had to go back to the counter to request napkins. Did I mention that the pay portal at the counter suggested a 20% or 25% tip despite the fact that we were going to get very little service? Anyhoo... My wife ordered the Cheese Quiche, which is an individual pie rather than a slice, and tasted quite good: cheesey and eggy, with a flaky crust ringing the entire pie. It is served by itself, but would benefit from a side salad with a vinaigrette to cut the richness -- and that plating would be more visually appealing as well. I ordered the Breakfast Sammie (cute name; just perfect for a Buddy). This was a Swiss Cheese Omelet on a griddled Croissant with their signature Sweet & Spicy Bacon plus a Tomato Jam that I chose to delete. The sandwich was generously portioned, and looked quite good, though the texture of the croissant screamed "commercial bakery delivery" rather than anything made in-house. The eggs were fresh and properly prepared, the Swiss had a good bite, and the bacon was appealingly sweet (I didn't detect any real spice). A small side of hash browns were nicely crisped and had good flavor. Overall, the sandwich was fine, but I would have enjoyed it more on a better quality croissant or almost any other house-baked bread. And so, this was a completely serviceable breakfast, but nothing to write home about or race back to. I'd rather head to Pascal, where they have a much larger menu, and the baked goods are truly excellent.
