Terrible unreliable banquet hall. This place is run by money hungry individuals. I booked the hall for my wedding reception 3 months ago. They made me leave a deposit and signed contract, everything seem fine. Fast forward to last Friday I get a call from the event planner that the hall was going to be closing on my wedding day. I needed to pick up my deposit and a stupid apology followed.My event is in 4 weeks and this complete idiots wanted to switch my event day to Sunday instead of Saturday . I explained to them that my wedding invitations were already send out all they had to say was I'm sorry my boss is closing that day. Please save your self the stress and embarrassment of having to explain to your guest all this. They are very unprofessional, I am sure the only reason they cancel on me was because someone else offer them more money to book on my day. read more

We have so many good memories connected to this place, birthday parties, graduation, milestone celebrations and just family get together with good homemade food. The place is cozy, nicely decorated and has life music and a dj. Owners are just awesome people who are ready to accommodate all your wishes regarding the food and decorations. Called in a lunch order since I literally work across the street. I came to pick it up at the estimated 15 minutes, and I did not even know they were open. All the doors were closed, and no one in the restaurant. I actually had to go into the kitchen and find someone to help me with my food. Waited for him to get the person in charge of the register, who then gave me a hard time for not having cash on hand. I then signed the receipt, and was handed the food by the cook, who smelled heavily of cigarettes, not very appetizing. The food had no flavor, and was covered in grease. I threw the majority of it away. Needless to say, don't go here. Seems like you need to be friends or family of the staff to get good food/service. read more

So if you just want to have a random casual night with friends and eat drink dance and hangout- you can have a fun night at this place. It has plenty of parking around and the crew is really warm and welcoming. I definitely recommend to the neighbors to come out their homes after work and explore what's down the street and possibly get to know more neighbors. The place respects the neighborhood and it's never too loud for us who lives near by. I'll go there anytime I'm around and in a mood for a fun night including food. . . And also drinking and NOT driving after since I live down the street. There is a clean restroom inside and that says a lot about the place. I think there may been a situation where most of the bad reviews here were taken down. The reviews were SO BAD that it should have been a comedic blog. I went purely because the reviews sounded ridiculous. So my friend and I went there for lunch, we walked inside and it was completely empty. No customers, no staff, it was all unlocked and on but totally abandoned. We walked around and even went into the kitchen. Nobody there... One of the worst. Don't bother giving it a try. Hummus with no pita. No pita?! WTF. Where was the eggplant dish I ordered? No where in the bag. Rancid limp lettuce lined the dry chicken shawarma sandwich. Yuck. Flaccid undercooked French fries barely browned. I specifically had requested the fries be "well done." Bummer. Big Bummer! The cheese in a pastry puff was actually fried cheese in a egg roll wrap. Cheese was off-tasting and it didn't pair well with egg roll. Armenian soup. I finally have a reason to say "gag me with a spoon." The smell, the appearance... Inedible. So I called the restaurant to inform them of their failure to please me. You know what I was told. Before ordering i checked YELP reviews and it seems some people who marked one or two stars were out of touch.I ordered food for my kids birthday party for $12 per person and got 2 kinds of BBQ,2 kinds of kabob with huge plate of rice and potatoes and 6 kinds of salad of my choice. We still have left overs after the party. The owner put more food that i was expected. The food and salads were so delicious that most of my guests asked the phone number of that place. I have lived in the area for over 15 years and finally decided to try Noah's Ark last night. I had the chicken shish kebab and my partner had the filet minon kebab and we both had a Greek salad. Every time I order items from here they come in varying quantities. Sometimes you'll order one of something, the next day you'll order two of it and get the same amount. When you contact the people who run this establishment they'll say your previous order was incorrect and they gave you "two of the item in one container." The first time I ordered their Kinkale I got an aluminum dish full, the second time I got a Styrofoam container full with sour cream, the third time I ordered two orders and only got an aluminum dish full, and the fourth and final time I'll order out here I got an aluminum dish half full with larger than previous sized kinkales and no sour cream. This establishment is inconsistent and seems as though the management doesn't expect repeat customers, so I will cease ordering from them. read more

One lamb kebab plate - 8.99 , a chicken kebab plate - 6.99 and a side of hummus - 3.99. the waitress and manager seemed to discuss this for a minute, and then told us it was 35.00. We then very politely said that we think it should only be around... 20 dollars. The manager than began to very rudely scream at the waitress for a minute before she finally turned around with a look of sincere embarrassment and apology. She then informed us that the extra 15 dollars was for tax. Yeah. You, my dear waitress, can do better. I had my wedding reception here on May 06,2017 I can honestly say This place is really nice to have ur reception or parties here I loved the painting and the chandelier and the lighting there is very beautiful. Also the place was very clean.Very spacious and enough room for everything. I can not pronounce her name but The lady there was very helpful and really nice and sweet.I was really glad that she was there and help with everything we needed.Annie is the person we spoke to she is so nice and a person of her word .My guest loved the place and had a good time at my wedding the only mistake was that I should of gotten my catering here because The caters I got sucked very bad,I'm pretty sure there food would of been delicious maybe for next time . Honestly I don't know why there are a few bad reviews on here ,, I am a regular here and the food is amazing!! I've had family functions here ( birthdays , christenings ) and there service and food was amazing , if you're lucky to catch a live singer here too it makes the experience that much better, one of the best Armenian restaurants in the LA area . I tried many things Lulu Kebob,Chicken Kebob,salad,rice,toasted peppers and Tahini and nothing was a dissappointment. I have had my share of Mediterranean food, so I think I have an idea of what good food is. This place is kind of creepy, dark (I went around 3 pm on a weekday) and seemed like it might be a meeting place for certain individuals, but the staff was nice and they were very accomodating. Although all the tables sat at least 6, the guy arranged a single table for just me as I was alone. I had the lamb shish kabob, which was mispelled on the menu. It didn't take too long to get the plate, but the sides were some pickled veggies, a potato salad deal, and alot of pitas. No hummus though..All the sides were good, and I don't even like potatoes. The meat was delicious, tender, hot and tasty. The rice was hot and buttery, all of which was to my delight. I think I continue to work in the LA/Encino area just to be close to this place. Definitely need to bring the bf to this place. Because they have eastern euro news playing in the background in the day so it was really authentic! read more
