Souvlaki delivers on all cylinders with great customer service from Mr. Tony, who mentioned it was him and his mom working the kitchen that night (we came in around 9:10pm). Tony was very friendly and helpful to us in making a decision by describing the menu with detail which made it easy to decide what to order. Tony explained that they want to be a healthy late night option for patrons as they close at 11pm, also, the featured meats are halal. We ordered the lamb and beef shawarma wrap which come with fries. Canned and bottled drinks are availible to order as well. I really enjoyed the freshness of the Ingredients in the wrap, which was a pretty good size. Crunchy veggies, savory meat and sauce wrapped in what I believe is lavash thin flatbread. A classic wrap which did fill me up in a good way, it did feel like a healthy and nutritious type of full. It is complemented by salty fries which were cooked to perfection, we dipped our wraps and fries in some Tzatziki to top it off. The ambiance is chill, since it was late, we were able to get the bar style table availible at the window to dine in. Since it is located in the LA collection of chefs kitchens, they have a very small lobby/limited dining space so plan to enjoy 'to go', I'm not sure if the collection has a cafeteria style dining room somewhere. Parking is limited, sidewalk spaces. Give them a try if youre in the mood for some good late night Greek food!

While their lamb shawarma has been my go-to, I've tried a more affordable option that's new on the menu: beef lule shawarma. The lule is sized over average in comparison to other Mediterranean shops, I would say 1/3rd pound uncooked. Very juicy and savory. Pairs well with the sumac onion salad and the aforementioned condiments. No fries with this, but at less than $11 out the door, this high protein shawarma was a no brainer. Will make a lot of nearby burrito shops a run for their money. I will definitely come back for more! Thank you!

I have never seen so much cheese included on so many items on a Mediterranean menu. Overall it was good "Americanized" food. The spices and acid in the Shirazzi Salad was non existent. The Chicken Breast Kabab was very tender in it again zero spice. There is not even salt and pepper on the table. The wait staff is very nice but didn't seem to know their menu. Either they are new or not well trained. A good sum of money went into the decore. It's a warm and pretty restaurant. But, the proverbial Lipstick on a .... phrase works here. Oh, and they charge to use a credit card. 3.5% is the fee on the whole bill. There are much better food quality options for Mediterranean Food in the area. I recommend retying them

I'm usually not a big fan of pita bread, and I never finish it at other kebab places. But their pita was so soft and chewy that I finished every bite. The meat was cooked perfectly--juicy with a nice char, but not burnt at all. I was also impressed that they even peeled off the burnt outer layer of the green pepper before serving it. I've honestly never seen a place pay attention to details like that. Everything was seasoned perfectly, and every bite was delicious. The staff were also super friendly, which made the experience even better. The inside is a little small, but they have a nice outdoor patio that looks like a great place to sit and enjoy your meal.

GG will call you sir or ma'am when you come in the door, and if you ask him very nicely he will tell you that he is Armenian, and that he started this place after being unable to control the quality of the result at a pizza chain. If you pay further attention to him, and read the menu carefully, and you scan past all the American style pizza, you will see that there are a few Armenian dishes down at the bottom of the menu. Now here's where you do yourself a solid. You order yourself the traditional Armenian mkhlu, and a Georgian temouri. Yes I know you can't pronounce these, but GG is polite and will not correct you. The mkhlu is a delicately spiced tomato omelet from his homeland, with lots of cilantro and paprika and delicate spices; and the tamouri is a very thin pizza with meat and cheese, again with incredible delicate spicing. There are certainly more expensive restaurants in LA, but I'm telling you from the bottom of my Yelp Elite status, that GG's tiny, clean little hole in the wall, is the best restaurant in Los Angeles right now.
