Had to look around to see where to order from. Got to the cashier who was colder than a block of ice. "is this where I order?" "Yeah" word of advice - put a smile on your face and better interaction will avoid these poor stars. Didn't look like she was having a good day, but that's not customers' issue. Wanted a combo plate, they didn't have it. Place this big could not get beef and chicken together. Because $14 is not enough. Having said all that, chicken plate was good. GOT SHOT UP It was very fun and had a good time but...I was 1 of 5 white peoples there (not racist bc I have a story to back me up) I go get food and outta nowhere I hear fireworks but everyone starts ducking(I'm from Utah so I'm excited for fireworks when I hear it) than I think oh shit that's not fireworks. Me ands my friends Jump the fence and run and the lady next to me goes down, right when the abt 84th shot fires. I thought her ass was done for and me next but she just had heels on and took a tumble from being scared. Thought my ass was dead but honestly awesome experience. Came here back in Feb for lunch but accidentally gave a 5 star review to a place down the street. I had the same thing today, the beef kabob with lentil soup starter, and my friend and I also had tiramasu. Service was a lot slower today but still friendly. The meat just wasn't as flavorful or tender S the last time. Lentil soup was yummy. Hot tea was nice with cloves the way I like it. Sure has changed since Feb, but was still decent. Came here for lunch with a few coworkers. We had only planned on taking 1hr lunch but since our service was so slow it took much longer than ever so we'll probably stick to ordering delivery. 3 1/2 if you could do half stars. We parked valet. I believe it's $2 in the structure for lunch. We were seated upon arrival tables are numbered so I assumed we'd be tended to. I didn't have water for most of my meal BC I never got a refill. When I did it was after I waved down what may have been a manager BC he seemed to want to make sure we were enjoying our meal as he saw our unhappy faces. My coworker and I shared a lunch special. The other two women had their own plates. Lentil soup is good. And their lunch specials are fairly priced and good beef katubeh. I always add sumac and they have some in a shaker so that was cool. I eat tons of middle eastern and this is a pretty good spot. Just wish they had better service. Our server was very polite. It just took forever to get a water refill and our food. They serve pita before the meal. We also ordered tzaziki and hummus their hummus is so good and the tzaziki as well. read more

If you have no tolerance, don't come here. The service is horrible. I would give them no stars if I could. This place is worse than my monthiversary date at Hot Stuff Cafe. The waiters/waitresses and hosts was beyond unhelpful and unbelievably rude with an attitude on top. I called several times for reservations and they would said they were not open or was full. Yeah, you're not a very crowded restaurant if you only have one review so far on Yelp (before me) and no one cares to take any picture of your food to upload. So when I finally got a reservation after many attempts and multiple no return calls, I finally got to try it out. The food itself was very mediocre. Nothing special that I cannot get at another restaurant. Pricing definitely did not match what I was getting. Overall, felt like the restaurant was blah. Great spot, low key, good food good prices. I work nearby and come here all the time. Chicken Kabab, Beef Kabob, Salmon and they have bomb Jasmine. Katy is always amazing and takes care of us, as well as Moses. Give it a try for sure, they turn into a cool Persian club with belly dancing and partying. Fun fun. The food is delicious! My favs: salmon lunch with salad, chicken kabobs with grilled veggies (esp the tomato), and yummy lentil soup. Their lentil soup is whole bean rather than creamy and the flavor is wonderful. I usually add some MangoHabanero sauce from BWWs (yes, a bottle lives in my purse) and it is magical. I order lunch from here as often as my budget will allow and delivery is always quick and courteous. 2 stars because of service & food ! I was really disappointed in this place because I've heard a lot of good things about it so I finally decided to try it out. Let's start with service. Waitress was a bit air-headed. My brother & I ordered two different things & she thought we both ordered the same. He also ended up receiving chicken instead of beef. She never came back to check on us or give us refills, we had to flag her down if we needed anything & we both noticed that she would constantly come back to check on two tables behind us. When I would ask her for something she would never actually stop to listen to what I needed, she would just keep walking by & give a quick "okay". Her service made me feel unwelcome & it felt incredibly unfriendly. I ordered the lentil soup as it came with my meal & the soup was great. If I could give the soup stars of its own I'd give it a 4 out of 5. Pita tasted a little undercooked but okay when dipped in the soup or with butter. I ordered the beef shish kabob & I felt like the rice was way overcooked & was mush. The meat tasted alright but it left a weird after taste in my mouth. My review is based on lunch and catering from there. I have not had dinner there. The prices are fair for the portions you get in relation to other Mediterranean restaurants. Everything is tasty and not over/under seasoned. I would recommend their beef luleh kebab and the lentil soup, both are one of my favorites from them, but their chicken is also very good, never dry. It's a great place to stop by for lunch. I knocked down one star due to the service. The lady helping us was a bit dry and breezed through the table quickly to take our order. The restaurant wasn't even busy, so there was no reason for her to be in a hurry. She checked on us once or twice, however, she started cleaning the table before we were even finished eating! She even took my water off the table before any of the plates were taken away which was really annoying. Overall the food is great, I would definitely recommend going here for lunch. read more

Between a 2 star and a 3 star review - this place kind of has a lock on the market for persian food and entertainment. Totally overpriced in my opinion and DIRRRRTY. I mean seriously - the carpet looks like it has NEVER been washed and the booths are DISGUSTING with rips and tears and stains all over them. That being said - the staff are friendly and occassionally the music is decent. I mean it's like when you gotta take your fam out and they pretty much only eat persian food - you come here. The portions are a lot smaller than most persian restaurants and they don't have a huge selection that comes with your $50-$75 admission. I wish I could say I won't be coming back but I doubt that's true. Someone needs to compete with this place! read more

Maybe this place has better service at night. I work a block away and some coworkers said they had good food. I ordered at 11:22 and their lunch starts at 11:30. The guy says 10-15 mins. I get there at 11:44 and the food still isn't ready. I let him know I'm on a 30 min lunch break and he says it'll be ready soon. 10 mins later I get my food. I told him what time I called and he said "You did not call 30 mins ago." Is he serious? I didn't even get to enjoy my food I was eating so fast. I have to say this is by far the WORSE service I have ever experienced EVER!!! I bought a coupon off http://restaurant.com and tried for about 3 months to make a reservation. Every time I called they would also say they were not open or that they were completely booked. On several occassions they told me they would call me if anything opened up but never even bothered to take my basic info such as my name and phone number and would hang up on me. And of corse its needless to say they never called me back. Finally, after months of trying, the host GAVE ME reservation for 7: 30 only to find out when I got there that the restaurant wouldnt be open till 9:00 pm. At this point I was determined to speak to the manager and so I waited. At about 8 50 the waitress finally offered me a table and acted as if she were doing me a favor by letting me in 10 mins early. I never got to speak to the manager and when I mentioned the certificate I had purchase from restuarant.com she rudley stated they didnt take "those kinds of coupons". I ended up walking out of the empty restaurant, didnt try the food and have no intention of ever doing so. Not even worth the one star I gave them! read more
