Something that really stands out about this location is their staff who go out of their way to be welcoming and courteous and kind. I ordered the Cali Pita with chopped chicken it was pretty good, It's got a little kick to it but the food tasted fresh and the pita was nice and fluffy. For the price point, I can't complain too much. I also got the Dip Trio, which came with about six pita triangles, some carrots, and three small scoops of hummus. The hummus flavors were pretty good, the one with feta was definitely my favorite but honestly, I wouldn't pay $10 for it again. I have been here many times when it first opened and stopped coming when they started cutting back on the portions but not the price. Today I decided to give it another chance. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and Joseu helped me with my order. He was very friendly and helpful with deciding on my sides. (BTW - Thank you Joseu they were delicious!) I admit, Luna Grill is one of my favorite chain Mediterranean food casual restaurants. I've been to another location, this was my first time at this location in Sherman Oaks. I was greeted upon entering for the early dinner hours and restaurant wasn't busy at all. Ordered my food and unfortunately they were out of salmon (so disappointing) so I got a combo with shrimp and koobideh. I chose the house salad and rice for the sides and everything made fresh to order and taste as expected. Portion size is sharable (for me at least, see my pic) or come very hungry. Since management replies to reviews, tonight's order was a fiasco!! My bf placed the order with Daisy, who forgot to add his food order so the pick up was prolonged...My order had fries instead of my usual rice, the fries are always very salty & hard! Again, the salad dressing was wrong, and there were no tzatziki dips..!! Daisy wasn't at all communicative, so it was a very unpleasant experience, plus they should've remade the fries, they were thrown in the trash as they were very salty & hard....We're spending $50 for 2 disappointing meals, now we're taking a long break from Luna Grill...I hope things improve!! read more

This place is pretty solid. My mom loves it and that gives it extra points. The wrap is good but perhaps make the chicken pieces smaller, it's a bit ridiculous to take bites out of. The Greek fries are bomb. It's definitely on the pricier side which is fine. The place is always clean. Like my other post of my local Cerritos Luna Grill, the food here was amazing. I was in the San Fernando Valley area and was craving Luna so I Googled and the Sherman Oaks location was the closest to me. On this Friday I was the first customer of the day and it being Lent season I went with the Grilled Salmon Plate with an added Shrimp Kabob. The salmon and shrimp were cooked to perfection...no complaints there. I do have one complaint though. The only issue for me is the dipping sauces offered. I'm pretty sure I've tried all of them by now and haven't had one that I could say made my entire meal experience a 100. Just a suggestion, can you please work on a new batch of dipping sauces. Looking for something along the lines of a spicy lemon salsa style dipping sauce that will go perfect with the amazing rice and any of the delicious proteins on your menu. I've had a salsa like the one I described at a different Mediterranean restaurant and feel that a salsa like that will go perfect with anything on your menu. Going back to my review of the Sherman Oaks location the service was great, the location was very clean and the place was fairly quiet with me being one of the first customers of the day. I ate my lunch in peace and left very satisfied with my lunch choice. This location is about 5 minutes from my work & was treating my colleague out for lunch. I ordered online (which was quick and easy) but when we got our order and got to chowing.... It seemed we received very small portions. It looked like our leftovers I was shocked so I called the location to verify how many pieces of chicken came in the bowl and he verified ONLY 3. For $30 I was disappointed. The service was not great either. I arrived and gave my name. The attendant didn't hand me my bag but made me reach over the cash register and pick it up myself.
