It's been a while since I last ate here and don't know if I will return again. The service has gone downhill. Our waitress was kind, but we waited an unreasonable amount of time for her to take our order and the restaurant was not full. We then waited 35 minutes for our food to come out. Straight up. Service matters! I was in a party of 18 and luckily the restaurant was fairly empty. They sat us in probably the best spot for our group considering we had kids. Rene was our first waiter and did a great job staying organized in taking everyone's order. Then even after we played musical chairs, the staff got the right dishes to the right people. Solid. Then service just leveled up when Valerie took over. Super friendly, always smiling, and hustled. I often saw her lifting heavy trays and even closed out check with one hand (literally. The other hand had a tray). Refilled drinks without asking, organized the birthday dessert with candle, lighter, and song. As we left the restaurant, I asked if she can take our photo. She smiled, handed off a to-go order, met us outside, and took an amazing group photo. Quick shout on the food. Tasty, hot, nicely presented, and good. A bit pricey BUT you get a good amount of food. Leftovers for sure. Place was clean including the bathrooms. Parking is plentiful because it's attached to a mall. Anyway, service will make or break any dining experience. We stopped by on our way into the mall! Ambiance was very inviting like a ma and pa place! We got seated outside, the patio furniture is very comfortable. Unfortunately once we were sat we were forgot about and a server didn't come until 15 minutes after being sat. We gave her our full order because we were starving. We watched tables be cleared and served inside for 20 minutes before she then brought our drinks and then another 25 later we received our food. we still didn't have silverware so then we had to wait until we were able to get someone to bring us utensils! Food was GREAT! My chicken pesto panini was perfect and greek salad was FRESHHHH! So I give 3.5 only based off of our service. We were walking in the park and around the mall during the evening and decided we wanted dinner so stopped here for takeout. We walked in and were told by the server who came to seat us and when we told her we wanted takeout she said to go see the "gentleman" at the back of the store, so we did and the server was right! Eric was a gentleman, good sense of humor, schmoozed with us a little, took our order and told us to come back in 20-30 minutes for our dinner. The food is incredibly good as usual but the service at this specific location is shockingly terrible. The service staff just wander around aimlessly and they don't bother taking your order within a reasonable amount of time. You basically have to get up ask for someone to come and take your order. I love PKG! Theyre always SO consistent and spot on with their proteins. I reccomend trying the KA-BOX, Its VERY filling and has a bit of everything. Honestly it could feed two but I am a happy gal. I've placed two carry-out orders from Panini Kabob Grill so far, and it's been pretty decent. So far I've tried their falafel KA box & platter, lentil soup, and side of sliced cucumbers, and I've enjoyed all my food. I love that they serve their pita bread warm (it's a first for me), plus their sauces come in generous portions (twice or three times bigger than other places). Their food is also affordable for what they serve. I look forward to trying more vegetarian options from their menu next time. This place is connected to the Westfield Fashion Square mall where you can find plenty of parking just a few steps away from Macy's (Finish Line, shoe department entrance). They provide both indoor and outdoor seating, and although I haven't dined in, I can say most employee's have been attentive. My food did take a little longer than expected this last time, but it it makes sense because it was close to dinner time on the weekend. I didn't notice them calling names for pick-ups and although I did tell 2 workers my name when I arrived, I had to do it again because my order was sitting there for a couple of minutes, so make sure you stand in front of the pick-up area and ask again once you see new orders on the shelf, lol. I consider this place worth a try, and I will definitely stop by again when I'm craving Mediterranean food in the area. read more

I love the food but when they get busy good luck with your order. They are poorly managed when it comes to take out orders. They need a better system for phone/online orders. Create a clear pick up/paid orders line and a separate line for people who need to pay and place orders. I asked for help and waited 15 minutes for a prepaid order that was sitting on the self. Tried here for lunch with my mom and little brother. First off; parking is easy since it's a mall but also it's a mall so depending on the time of day, may be an issue. Second, lots of seating and the noise level inside isn't too bad so it's easy to talk to your table. The menu is full of various options so mom and I opted to split the two dishes we wanted to try and my brother went with the item he never gets. Mom ordered the Chicken Caesar Wrap but subbed the chicken for tofu, and opted for a Greek salad as the side. The whole plates were generous portions so the half a wrap I got was a meal all of itself. The produce was fresh and crisp, the tofu cooked well but the surprise was how the tofu crumbled like Feta and had the type of texture to be a little creamy a little meaty. For my Mom's first time having a wrap like this, she was beyond thrilled and loved the salad. The small dipper of hummus was a real surprise too, smooth but slightly lumpy hummus that had a light taste but finished with a brightness of herbs was a real delight. My brother opted for the steak panini, something like a Philly Cheesesteak but without all the cheese. Well seasoned beef complimented by fresh peppers, onions and mushrooms with slices of provolone on toasted bread. He loved it, and his side of Caesar salad was perfect for him though we both agreed for the salad and the wrap, the dressing could stand to be a little thicker and more of it. My dish was the Rigatoni Rosa with the chicken; this was such a surprising comfort food I cannot wait to have it again. Light Rosé sauce that's just a hint of sweet and touch of tomato, when paired with the chicken each bite was heaven. The chicken was seasoned so well and charred just the right amount to lock in all the juices and flavor. Nothing needed to be seasoned, and we enjoyed our lunch so much, everyone finished their plates! Will definitely be going back. read more

This place is on the newer side. Located at the Sherman oaks fashion square near Macy's. Therefore it's plenty of parking spaces, however, because it's attached to the mall during certain times parking may be hard to find. I walked in to place a to go order. The host was nice and helpful when I asked her about certain menu items. I decided on the veggie kabob which came with rice, Hummus and a side salad and my friend ordered the Koobideh which came with rice, humus, grilled vegetables and tatziki. The food was absolutely delicious and fresh. The order came out pretty fast (maybe a 10/16 minute wait). The place was not crowded at all so that could be why the food came out pretty fast. Although I did not order a drink, they do have a wine list and limited beer options. The shrimp kabobs looked really good so I am definitely going to try this next time. read more

By the time our server came, we were ready to order. We ordered the Flat Iron Steak Shish Kabob. It was a lot for my client so we shared it. The food didn't take long to be served. The salad was good. The dressing didn't overwhelm, it complimented well. The beef needs a little seasoning and it was tough even though we asked for medium but it was edible. The food at Panini Grill is good, but the service really needs improvement and took a massive turn for the worst. We waited about 30 minutes for our food, showed the manager the time stamp of our wait, people who were seated after us got their food before us and we had ordered similar items, and the food came out only after my husband got up to cancel his dish. We never received drink refills and only saw our waitress once. It felt like a place where you have to serve yourself if you want food, refills, or the bill. Was blown away from the portion sizes and presentation and knew I wouldn't experience that if my meal was boxed up. Being so hungry, I couldn't wait to go to the food court and I walked in to this lovely, clean, big, well structured (inside and outside) with a lovely, cozy patio and kind of took a good look at it before Sherry walked me to my table. The restaurant was kind of empty; which was good at that moment. I needed some quiet time to myself. Let me start by saying that I truly enjoyed my dining experience and the service that I got from my server Shery G. She was nice, attentive, with a pretty smile and was knowledgeable with the menu. They have an EXTENSIVE menu choices to choose from. Also have a bar. Beer and Wine. I ordered 2 skewers of Koobideh Kabob that came with white rice, and got their avocado salad. FRESH, DELICIOUS AND LARGE PORTION FOR ONLY $17.99. Oh, and I got SPRITE. Total came out to be $24.60 plus I gave her a generous tip, because she deserved it! Thank you Shery.
