And I love places with the "healthier" soda brands too. So they're really winning with drink options. They also have bottled drinks for on the go, so that tells you just how vast their drink selection is! Their bowls are great. Lots of options to customize meats, sauces, and toppings. Lots of flavor. I had a really frustrating and stressful experience with CAVA that I feel people should know about. I placed an order for delivery, waited the usual amount of time, and when my food finally arrived... the container was completely empty -- literally empty. It felt like a joke at first, but unfortunately it wasn't. I reached out to customer service expecting them to take this seriously, but all they offered was a basic refund. While I appreciate getting my money back, that doesn't make up for the inconvenience of waiting for food that never actually came -- especially when you're hungry and relying on that meal. Sending out an empty container shows a pretty major problem in quality control, and the response didn't feel like they really cared about the customer experience. I went there in person and was promised by the shift manager Remi that Arianna GM would reach out to me the next day. She never did, so I called the store and Arianna said there is nothing further she can do. It's pretty sad they don't care and not willing to take action and even call me to hear about my experience or call to make it right. They just lost a customer. read more

What a delicious visit to Cava! Wasn't sure what I wanted but after my first visit to Cava, decided to try it again. I didn't know what to order given that I was such a newbie, but the amazing server, Remy, was so patient and walked me through how to order exactly what I wanted to fit my appetite. Remy was so helpful and guided me through the process! Sounds so serious, but really, i was grateful to not feel rushed (there wasn't a line on a Monday evening, phew!). What can I say? I love Cava. It's always a good spot for when you're not in the mood to cook, you want something filling, but you don't want to go somewhere too crazy, or too pricey. Cava is one of our go to spots. Always hit, always tastes good. I always build my own bowl with greens and grains. I typically get arugula. For my grain, sometimes I get rice, sometimes I get lentils. I always get the grilled chicken. I get the hummus, red pepper hummus and baba ganoush for my 3 dips. You can get as many toppings as you want, though there are some that cost extra. I essentially do all the free ones except cheese. Pickled onions, corn, fiery broccoli, pickles, tomatoes, etc. For dressings, I get zhoug and the lemon tahini. I'm curious to try their Greek dressing and the tahini caesar though. They're vegan which is nice. The bowl also comes with a side triangle of pita. Good stuff! read more

The bowl itself was very delicious and they did a great job of portioning everything out. The produce was very fresh and I got the falafel right as it was made, so it was still hot and crispy. The only downsides were that I had ordered a drink but the juice machines broke that day so I wasn't able to get the blueberry lavender lemonade I had been looking forward to drinking! Wow, how did I NVER notice what Cava was? I always thought it was something not in California, only to discover it right next door to Chipotle! As a friend described it to me, Cava is like Mediterranean Chipotle... Cava is my favorite. Recently visited the newest location in the valley in Sherman Oaks. Didn't disappoint. The food was delish as always. The staff was nice and the lady serving me gave me a nice, hefty portion of chicken. There's plenty of parking the back which is only shared with Chipotle. So no need to worry about finding parking in the streets of Ventura. Inside there's plenty of seating and outside a nice small patio. I look forward to coming back to this location! read more

It kind of ruins the bowl when you're worried about eating it but otherwise the flavors of everything were great. Staff is a bit stingy regarding portion sizes. You really have to ask them for an extra (toppings) scoop of this or an extra scoop of that if you want to get your bowl to even be half filled. read more
