Absolutely loved my experience at CAVA! The staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming. Everyone was so knowledgeable about the menu and took the time to answer all of my questions and make helpful recommendations. The food was fresh, flavorful, and delicious! A special shoutout to Andres, who truly went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience. He was so patient, helpful, and genuinely took the time to make sure all my questions were answered. Great food, amazing service, and such a welcoming atmosphere. I'll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend! read more

This is a chain, but I love it. I'm a regular here and really appreciate the convenience of their online ordering in the app. Tip: I do find that you get a bigger, better bowl if you order in the store. Love that they have a rewards program. Also love their drink options - any "healthier" restaurant that includes options other than soda, water and iced tea are a major plus to me. And I love places with the "healthier" soda brands too. So they're really winning with drink options. They also have bottled drinks for on the go, so that tells you just how vast their drink selection is! Their bowls are great. Lots of options to customize meats, sauces, and toppings. Lots of flavor. Appreciate the little side pita - it's yummy, as are the pita chips. There is a lot for parking, which is convenient for any place on Ventura. Just let the attendant know you're going to Cava. read more

I had a really frustrating and stressful experience with CAVA that I feel people should know about. I placed an order for delivery, waited the usual amount of time, and when my food finally arrived... the container was completely empty -- literally empty. It felt like a joke at first, but unfortunately it wasn't. I reached out to customer service expecting them to take this seriously, but all they offered was a basic refund. While I appreciate getting my money back, that doesn't make up for the inconvenience of waiting for food that never actually came -- especially when you're hungry and relying on that meal. Sending out an empty container shows a pretty major problem in quality control, and the response didn't feel like they really cared about the customer experience. I went there in person and was promised by the shift manager Remi that Arianna GM would reach out to me the next day. She never did, so I called the store and Arianna said there is nothing further she can do. It's pretty sad they don't care and not willing to take action and even call me to hear about my experience or call to make it right. They just lost a customer. read more

I will be short and to the point. I love Cava. The build your own bowl with rice, arugula, veggies and falafel is amazing. Definitely good quality, and tasty food. There are plenty of choices to order I personally like the build your own bowl. I highly recommend Cava. read more

CAVA - Cava Bowl - Mediterranean Near Me - Sherman Oaks, California

I came in to grab some lunch and the first thing I noticed was the employees are not smiling or happy to be there. They looked miserable. I asked about the new salmon bowl and neither of them could tell me if it was good or not. I ordered it anyway. I really wish I didn't though, the salmon is so dried out, like it was overcooked or microwaved. Don't order the salmon and don't be surprised by the not so welcoming staff. I'll def go to another location after today read more

I have been to this Cava location many times and I am never disappointed. Even when there is a long line it moves quickly and the employees are always very friendly. Logan has helped me many times. He always remembers me and what I like in my bowl. Today he knew I would be unhappy that they stopped offering the "Chicken Shawarma," and he was correct...lol. It was marinated breast chicken and SOOOOOO good! Waaaah!!!! Bring it back please!!! Everything is fresh and replenished often. You can eat in, order to go inside or on the app for pick up. *There is a parking lot in the back that you enter off of Ventura Blvd across from CVS. **Tell the parking attendant that you are picking up so you don't need a ticket and can park for free ***I prefer ordering when I am there because I have the ability to ask for a bigger serving of the items Iike... CAVA - My "Build Your Own" bowl with harissa chicken & roasted white sweet potatoes and the works - Mediterranean Near Me - Sherman Oaks, California

Had the most delicious rice bowl tonight! I ordered the Chicken Rice Bowl and customized it with arugula, brown rice, half chicken / half grilled steak, hummus, tzatziki, pickled onion, Persian cucumber, pita crisps, and garlic dressing -- and wow. Every flavor gelled perfectly. If you're looking for a great combo, try this one. It's fresh, balanced, and absolutely hits the spot. Good customer service every time! I always get my food to go, but maybe one day I'll dine in -- it's a bit of a hole in the wall, - it's sort of a chain restaurant so you know how that goes but sometimes that's where the gems are. read more

What a delicious visit to Cava! Wasn't sure what I wanted but after my first visit to Cava, decided to try it again. I didn't know what to order given that I was such a newbie, but the amazing server, Remy, was so patient and walked me through how to order exactly what I wanted to fit my appetite. Remy was so helpful and guided me through the process! Sounds so serious, but really, i was grateful to not feel rushed (there wasn't a line on a Monday evening, phew!). I'll definitely be back based on the great service alone! Also, this location is super clean - literally not a speck on any of the tables and lots of seating was available. The drinks were delicious to try and everything tasted so fresh. Cava also has a new rewards program, so be sure to sign up so you can rack up the points! read more

I truly love this place. It is consistently outstanding on every level. There is usually a line. But it moves briskly. The guys on the counter are always great. Helpful and friendly. Today I did steak and chicken bowl and as always it was bursting with flavor in every bite. The key is the 3 sauces you select. Then whatever dressing. It all meshes together expertly. I was starving and it was exactly enough food. I don't have a single suggestion because everything is perfect. read more

What can I say? I love Cava. It's always a good spot for when you're not in the mood to cook, you want something filling, but you don't want to go somewhere too crazy, or too pricey. Cava is one of our go to spots. Always hit, always tastes good. I always build my own bowl with greens and grains. I typically get arugula. For my grain, sometimes I get rice, sometimes I get lentils. I always get the grilled chicken. I get the hummus, red pepper hummus and baba ganoush for my 3 dips. You can get as many toppings as you want, though there are some that cost extra. I essentially do all the free ones except cheese. Pickled onions, corn, fiery broccoli, pickles, tomatoes, etc. For dressings, I get zhoug and the lemon tahini. I'm curious to try their Greek dressing and the tahini caesar though. They're vegan which is nice. The bowl also comes with a side triangle of pita. Good stuff! read more

Easy parking in the back with plenty of seating inside and outdoor as well. Service was friendly, and pre-ordering on the app is always a breeze. I ordered food through DD so this might have affected my review. I ordered a grains bowl with a full portion of saffron basmati rice, a full portion of grilled chicken, Tzatziki, hummus, crazy feta, fire roasted corn, salt brined pickles, tomato and cucumber, Kalamata olives, Persian cucumber, crumbled feta, pita crisps, garlic dressing, tahini Caesar dressing, and the side of pita. This is my goto CAVA location for my CAVA fix. All the other locations always have soda machine problems and unavailable juice options. Service here is always fast and friendly. Wow, how did I NVER notice what Cava was? I always thought it was something not in California, only to discover it right next door to Chipotle! As a friend described it to me, Cava is like Mediterranean Chipotle... I really liked the concept of the "build your own bowl" so much so that I tried both of their rice, one of their salads, and unfortunately all of their toppings (how can one resist?) The staff member who helped me was extremely welcoming and recommended their Schoug to top it off - an excellent choice. My favorite part of ordering at Cava was that although it was slightly more expensive, I was relieved of the worry of being skimped, which wouldn't have happened "next door." Now, I'm sad to have discovered Cava because I might be coming here a little too often... read more

Ordered takeout from here tonight and had some issues with the website not putting my order in properly. Thankfully the staff here was very attentive and helpful and added falafel to my order. The bowl itself was very delicious and they did a great job of portioning everything out. The produce was very fresh and I got the falafel right as it was made, so it was still hot and crispy. The only downsides were that I had ordered a drink but the juice machines broke that day so I wasn't able to get the blueberry lavender lemonade I had been looking forward to drinking! The tables were also a little dirty but I opted to eat my meal at home anyways! There was lots of parking in the giant lot they share with Chipotle. read more

Cava is my favorite. Recently visited the newest location in the valley in Sherman Oaks. Didn't disappoint. The food was delish as always. The staff was nice and the lady serving me gave me a nice, hefty portion of chicken. There's plenty of parking the back which is only shared with Chipotle. So no need to worry about finding parking in the streets of Ventura. Inside there's plenty of seating and outside a nice small patio. I look forward to coming back to this location! read more

The food was good for what it was but the staff seemed to not care about being there and that kind of really dampened my experience. Like watching a lunch lady slop a spoonful mush on your tray as a kid. That's the feeling it gave my boyfriend and I. read more

Overall decent experience. Glad they finally opened! I got a bowl and used black lentils as part of my base. Unfortunately, they were not cooked all the way through and some of them were so hard I almost cracked a tooth.... It kind of ruins the bowl when you're worried about eating it but otherwise the flavors of everything were great. Staff is a bit stingy regarding portion sizes. You really have to ask them for an extra (toppings) scoop of this or an extra scoop of that if you want to get your bowl to even be half filled. read more
