Mango sticky rice.

I don't think anything we tried was super tasty. I think everything was fresh, just not flavorful. Fun place to visit, but really easy to get better food elsewhere.

Oishi! Freshly rolled sushi made from scratch, kimchi, Asian sauces, freshly made juices and tempting Japanese and Korean chips. As well as fresh produce & yummy sandwiches and pastas. My favorite food is Japanese, Thai & Korean food so everything here was to my liking. They used to have a frozen yogurt machine here but they got rid of it because they were running out of space the kind lady at the front told me. It's a very small family run business, everything is made fresh daily so you get different items all the time. I got the sushi roll that had California roll and half spicy tuna with some freshly made Ponzu sauce. It was so flavorful. The rice was perfectly made. I think that is one of the hardest things to get right when you make sushi, is that rice. Ambience wise, it was fairly empty that day on a Friday evening. Very calm inside, I noticed all the workers in the back were Hispanic and spoke Spanish. The two ladies at the front appeared to be of either Korean or Japanese descent, they were very kind and polite. Everything is definitely on the pricey side. The sushi roll that I got & a bottle of mineral water cost me around $14. Nowadays that is about average for what you spend when you buy food. The parking situation is very tight because they share a parking lot with Trader Joe's. It can be a little chaotic to find a parking spot. I'm so happy to have an Asian marketplace nearby!

My favorite local mom and pop grocery shop store market with fresh produce, great deals and those amazing pre-made noms including wraps, salads, sandwiches, sushi rolls, soups and more! You can grab a premade juice or have them blend up one for you in the back. They share a lot with Trader Joe's currently (soon to relocated just across the street). The vegan egg rolls are out of this world and they often have them hot and fresh for you to purchase in front as well as those decadent cookies. Lots of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free items as well. Aside for small grocer market essentials they offer some great miscellaneous items including plants, masks, self care items and more. Bottle and canned beverages are quite the assortment from green tea to still or sparkling water, olipop, bai, gatorade and even cbd beverages. The customer service is stellar. Even though the prices have slightly shifted up to keep up with times, the quality never changes. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Still a cool clean store with great staff, some limited cafe style seating in front, seasonal items and street or lot parking.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Farm Boy is located off Riverside Drive/Hazeltine Avenue diagonal Bloomingdales at the Westfield Fashion Square - Sherman Oaks.

Excellent local market with a large selection of sushi, Korean side dishes, fresh juices, fruits, veggies and more. The sushi cut rolls are humongous and are very fresh. I normally do a quick pop-in to pick up a spicy tuna cut roll to go and it never disappoints. The fish quality is superb, as you taste freshness in every bite. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Definitely a cool, small-size store serving the Sherman oaks community.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The customer service is always friendly. Enjoy coming back here for sure!

Farm boy is amazing. They have the best sushi for great price. Fresh juices are amazing too. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute, clean little store.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My daughter and I love it here. The ladies at the register are always so nice, and friendly. Come support them if you in the area.

Kroger brand is always the best bargain because it's the parent company of Ralphs. With everything in my digital shopping cart, I checkout and order pickup for free the next day. An employee at this Ralphs finds everything for me and bags it up. They bring it to designated parking spots on the lower level. I very much appreciate this personal shopping service. In the app, make sure to select this Ralphs location for the greatest selection, as it is one of the best in Sherman Oaks. Your shopping Items are kept in a special refrigerated section, so it stays fresh until you arrive to pickup (according to the employee who brought me my groceries last time). If you do end up going inside this Ralphs to shop for yourself, it's one of the nicest ones I've been to in the Valley. Thank you to all employees who make this Ralphs excellent.

But don't worry, I could go pick them up at some random time tomorrow (I work an office job, that doesn't work for me) so instead of guessing when I might get groceries, I contacted customer service to help me cancel. Well only the store can cancel the order, so I got to waste 45 minutes with them only to have to go in and deal with this myself. Why have a customer service line if they literally can't do anything?

I called the Seafood Department to place an order for some fried fish. I had called last Friday around 7:30 p.m. to order fish, but it was too late. Anyway, Adrian (sorry if I misspelled your name, sir) answered the phone and was very polite and courteous while taking my order. Now, this is a "you buy, we fry" service inside a grocery store, so I wasn't quite sure if I could call in an order. But after my last visit, where I placed an order and walked around the store while the fish was frying, I honestly didn't see why they wouldn't allow it. I originally wanted catfish fillets, but they were out. Adrian offered catfish nuggets as a substitute, but I passed. I then asked for red snapper or rockfish, but they had neither. I moved on to cod, but at $19.99 a pound, I said, "Not today." Finally, he told me they had tilapia for $10.99 a pound, so I ordered two pounds. He asked what seasoning I wanted, and I told him I wanted to try all three -- Cajun, lemon pepper, and one other that I can't remember. He told me it would be ready in 12 minutes, and when I arrived 12 minutes later, it was ready! It was fresh, hot, and delicious. I could hardly wait to get back home and eat it all lol. I will definitely be back next weekend. Thanks again, Adrian. :-)

Parking is super easy and convenient. You just drive up the ramp, go through the gate (it opens automatically), and there's no ticket needed. You even get one hour free, which is a huge plus. There's plenty of parking both underground and at street level in the Citrus Commons complex. I'm a big fan of Trader Joe's in general and shop here every week. What makes this store special is the selection -- you can find so many unique products that you won't see in other grocery chains, including a lot of European-style foods. Some of our favorites are eggplant spread, sauerkraut, frozen sweet cheese pancakes (blinchiki), pork dumplings, and many other great items. Prices are reasonable (around average), especially considering the quality and uniqueness of the products. The staff here is incredibly friendly -- honestly, one of the nicest teams I've seen in any grocery store. The atmosphere is always welcoming, clean, and easy to navigate. Another great bonus: there are actually two Trader Joe's stores right across the street from each other on Riverside Drive. This newer location is bigger, brighter, and has even more variety. And if one store is out of something, you can simply check the other -- so convenient! Highly recommend this location -- we're lucky to have it here in Sherman Oaks!

This is indeed my preferred one between the two.

The prices are more than a bit over-the-top (ugly). Whoever designed this store deserves a smack-down. The aisles are so small you have to shimmy past people. And if you are shopping with a cart, good luck to you. Legit the most baffling design choices I've ever seen. This is an example of design that actually effects the shopping experience in a BAD WAY. Total head scratcher. Whoever designed the parking lot for the entire complex is an absolute idiot. If you need to get your cart to your car, there are several issues depending on what area you park in. First up, upon exiting the store there is a curb with no visible ramp so you have to cart-jump the curb to get down to the street level to your car. Then there is a raised planter between parking and the store so that if you are on the other side of it, you have to cart-jump the curb again. Seriously? Total failure in design on both the store and the parking. But hey - 90 minutes free parking so that's a plus. $16 for a smoothie is a little excessive for sure. Was it good? Yes. That said, while I'm happy to pay more for a great selection of organic fruits and veggies, the smoothies aren't that different from one I could make at home or get somewhere else of the same quality but for less. So if you are on a budget or just resent paying $16 for a smoothie on principal, I suggest focusing on your favorite, good stuff at Erewhon which for me is the fruits / vegetables and their outstanding selection of health / beauty products and their prepared food. from the beauty section, I got something called EVERYTHNG OIL based on the recommendation of one of the staff and it is a GREAT product -- truly my skin is transformed -- well worth the $. I also discovered a yoghurt there that I love -- Painterland Sisters -- but I now buy it at Sprouts as it is cheaper there. The prepared food selection is great! Vegan dessert selection - hallelujah! And I'm a big fan of all their vegan options actually - great stuff. I like that they give you a credit for every glass bottle you bring back -- not a small one either. $2 for each bottle! That brings down the cost of those fresh juices I love so I'll take it!! :) So spend some time finding your favorite stuff - this is a place to pick up a couple of things -- not do ALL your grocery shopping. First of all, you don't want a cart in this place -- too hard to navigate. But also, a full shop at Erewhon is 3 times what any other store would cost. But they do have some very excellent products so worth it for those things IMHO but not for EVERYTHING. Also, try to choose a time to go when it's not packed. the store is claustrophobic when full.
