    Fried catfish
    Candace B.

I was today years old when I discovered that this location is a "you buy, we fry" but fish only! So I popped in to buy some catfish on a Friday evening, so I could pan fry it at home - when the guy working behind the meat counter asks, "would you like us to fry it for you?" I said, "What??? You do that?" And then I noticed the sign, that said, FISH FRY, Prefer Your fish fried? Just ask...IT'S FREE! I said, "Yes, please!" He asked what flavor, there was only two: lemon pepper or rosemary garlic - I chose rosemary and garlic. When I say he fried it perfectly and it taste absolutely delicious!! please believe me. I am going to post pictures but I didn't eat it right away and it sweat in the bag and looks a little sus, but it tastes like I fried it myself or went to a "you buy, we fry," spot. It smelled so good and he gave it to me piping hot in a sealed bag. It was a super chill night and there weren't many people in the store and all of the staff I encountered were nice and helpful. While I waited for my fish to cook, I was able to grab some other things I needed in the store and then I went back and picked up my fish after ten minutes. It was a nice surprise and I will definitely do it again.

What kind of bs is this... the pink they had online was a baby pink so I was expecting that same color or I would have specified. Frosting not even covering the cake.

This is my go to Ralph's. I have one closer to my house but it is not as well stocked and the staff are not as friendly or helpful! This location is always clean and the produce section is well stocked with beautiful looking fruits and vegetables. Every section is laid out well and if you can't find what you are looking for there is always a friendly employee to help. They offer self checkout as well as cashiers and someone always is ready to bag your groceries if needed. Unlike the Ralph's on Woodman and Sherman Way. I only go to that location when I am desperate and don't have a lot time:) Oh, and don't forget that Starbucks is at the entrance to your left. Why not get a drink while strolling down each aisle! Makes shopping for groceries that much more pleasant! This Ralph's also offers specific parking spaces for Ralph's pick up orders. And during "Girl Scouts" cookie season, you can stick up on your favorite thin mints! Lol.

This is a new location. Very clean. Very nice staff. Prices are the same everywhere. Food is just more expensive than it used to be.

We have changed the hours at our store from 5am - 2am but since the corona virus outbreak we have changed it from 7:30am-11pm temporarily. :)

Is this store open on Easter?

Aisles--especially around the pharmacy--are routinely blocked or cluttered, so just getting through the store can be a hassle. Then there's the decision to lock up a large portion of the alcohol and spirits. I get the intent, but the execution is terrible. I'm not going to stand around waiting for someone to unlock a $5.99 bottle of triple-sec. Literally. --I'll just leave and buy it somewhere else. Which brings up the obvious problem: there's rarely anyone around to help anyway. If you're going to lock up everyday items, you need staff available. Otherwise, you're just creating friction and losing sales. The store overall feels overcrowded and poorly maintained, which only adds to the frustration. It's a pretty stark decline from what this location used to be. At this point, with Trader Joe's, Pavilions, Whole Foods, Gelson's, BevMo, and Costco all nearby, there's really no reason to deal with the hassle here

Parking is super easy and convenient. You just drive up the ramp, go through the gate (it opens automatically), and there's no ticket needed. You even get one hour free, which is a huge plus. There's plenty of parking both underground and at street level in the Citrus Commons complex. I'm a big fan of Trader Joe's in general and shop here every week. What makes this store special is the selection -- you can find so many unique products that you won't see in other grocery chains, including a lot of European-style foods. Some of our favorites are eggplant spread, sauerkraut, frozen sweet cheese pancakes (blinchiki), pork dumplings, and many other great items. Prices are reasonable (around average), especially considering the quality and uniqueness of the products. The staff here is incredibly friendly -- honestly, one of the nicest teams I've seen in any grocery store. The atmosphere is always welcoming, clean, and easy to navigate. Another great bonus: there are actually two Trader Joe's stores right across the street from each other on Riverside Drive. This newer location is bigger, brighter, and has even more variety. And if one store is out of something, you can simply check the other -- so convenient! Highly recommend this location -- we're lucky to have it here in Sherman Oaks!

The only downside: the female cashier who checked me out yesterday did not bag items for me (other places they do it automatically) that was odd. She stood there as I bagged them. Haha ironically the cashier behind her had a buddy who was assisting in the bagging process with the cashier(short staffed? Or selective?)
