I quite like this Erewhon out of the others due to the selection. Found some great weird stuff like Banana Water and Okra Water. Not super small like Beverly Hills and the outdoor seating is spacious. Nice staff, no long lines for the cashier and the smoothie bar was so fast. The Vibe-C Collagen smoothie was tasty whereas the Tropical Lifeway tasted like healthy pineapple. There's an outdoor parking lot and free 2 hour street parking. My visit here was purely out of curiosity, since Erewhon is known as the "most expensive grocery stores in the world", but beyond a few items everything in here was priced normally for a high-end grocery store in LA. As soon as I walked in the delicious smell of the deli reminded me of my days as a courtesy Clerk at Wild Oats Market, now Whole Foods. The deli food was pricey, but looked good. Mostly healthy options here like salads, couscous, and quinoa. Along with lean proteins and few comfort options like mac n' cheese. The store is kept immaculate and every isle was fully stocked and neat organized. The produce section is small, but they do have all of the staples. Unfortunately, they didn't have the $20 single strawberry available during my visit. They offer indoor and outdoor seating and have plenty of space. There a lot of people here working on their laptops and having lunch. The parking here is paid and you'll want to enter the lot via Coldwater Canyon to park right in front of the store. read more

I've been to pretty much all Erewhons and this one is easily the best. People complain about parking but honestly it's the easiest setup. You can self-park or just leave your car and they'll handle it like valet if you have to double park. Since I have a gym membership, parking is free for me, so it's super convenient to swing by after a workout without stressing about it. The employees here are actually cool and friendly--not fake nice. Even during a quick checkout they'll talk to you and make it feel enjoyable instead of rushed. Earth Bar can take a minute, so the move is to order your drink first, then shop around. They'll text you when it's ready which makes everything smooth. Mango and Strawberry Glaze smoothies are a must. Also the crowd here is top tier--everyone looks good and the whole place just feels clean, high-end, and put together. My family and I spend thousands of dollars at this location and visit almost daily for groceries, meals, coffee, and prepared foods. One of the advertised Reserve benefits is a complimentary daily coffee and pastry. The problem? Nobody seems to know what actually qualifies. Over the past several visits, we've been told completely different stories depending on who is working. A pastry that was included multiple days in a row suddenly isn't included the next day. Other times we're told they're "out" of qualifying pastries altogether. Yet nowhere in the app, membership terms, or in-store does it say this benefit is subject to "while supplies last," unpublished restrictions, or constantly changing eligibility. Today I tried to calmly resolve this with Andy, who identified himself as a manager. Unfortunately, he seemed unfamiliar with the membership terms and had to start researching the issue on his personal phone while I showed him the benefit on mine. Then things got worse. An employee named Gisele aggressively inserted herself into the conversation while I was already speaking with the manager, loudly contradicted information, and when I asked why she continued involving herself, her response was: "Because I feel like it." My wife and I stopped by Erewhon yesterday while we were at the Sportsman Lounge little shopping center. She heard about their favorite expensive smoothie and wanted to try it. The staff here are wonderful and willing to answer any questions you have. This place is also a grocery store and a small bakery place as well. Be aware that the aisle inside here at very narrow especially with some people pushing a cart. If they are really busy then it will be harder to move around inside. The prices for their products are on the higher end but it's popular. Parking is complimentary up to a certain time. Ordered online for pickup, waited over 40 minutes, and never received my drink. The worker kept going to the bar to check on my order and each time it still had not been made. I had to ask for my order to be canceled and left with nothing. No one communicated anything to me or offered any solution. Completely disorganized and not honest about what was going on. The workers are friendly and polite and get your drinks out efficiently. I got the Hailey Bieber Strawberry Glaze Skin Smoothie. For $20, the smoothie isn't that big. It was sweeter than I expected, and I'm glad it was dairy-free. The smoothie is thick, creamy, and heavy on the strawberry taste. It was tasty but a one-and-done for me. The other smoothies looked great, but I wouldn't necessarily spend that much to try them. Erewhon is a boujee grocery store focusing on health and organic foods. If you can afford it, then sure it might be worth it. But for a visitor like myself, taking one trip satisfied my curiosity. They have plenty of locations throughout SoCal. Erewhon is a luxury grocer that offers products that are fair-trade and are BCorp which is why you will find a price tag much higher than your more accessible grocery stores. I just wish the premium price tag matched the quality of products that are private labeled by them. I bought a loaf of bread and some inhouse deli products because I was in a pinch for an event and was shockingly surprised at how lackluster the quality was. Not asking for much from them but there's no desire for me to shop here. The smoothies are SO overhyped. Sure, your favorite celeb who has the income or luxury to shop here may love it but honestly I would much rather get a smoothie at a local organic shop that can EASILY be found in the area. Very disappointed. I got the Hailey Bieber smoothie, first time it was fire. 2nd time it was so tart it didn't taste the ssame. I also purchased strawberries here at like $10 thinking they would be the most sweetest, juiciest strawberries ever but I was wrong they weren't even that great and it was just a complete waste. Potatos were stale and grilled zuccini were alright. Sushi combo was mediocre - the rice was a little hard and not seasoned well. Rolls had salmon which was tendinous. Overall everything was tasteless and I spend like $90 on it. The service was ok - the cashier was non stop talking to her coworker barely paying any attention to my purchases. I did feel bad giving only one star last time so I thought three stars would be more fair because the hot food section is pretty good. The staff seem like they spend a lot of time organizing and rearranging the products on display. The aesthetics are nice. However, I just cannot justify the prices there. For example, two peeled oranges for over $6, guacamole for over $12, and oven roasted chicken for over $27, not to mention, plus tax. Came in the morning to grab a few things, was the only one in line, and the cash register employees are fooling around talking to each other as if we're not there.
