"Stop running so much, and pick up a dumbbell, dumbbell..." He has bar stools set up at his sales counter for whenever you want to shoot the breeze or talk smack about GNC and the Vitamin Shoppe. If you've got time on your hands in your busy day or are chronically unemployed, Mr. Colbert can entertain you all day long with fascinating stories about the community, sports, or how our country has lost its way (you young punk ;-P). The short rib was so tender and well-seasoned, the noodles are calorie free and tasty, the broccolini had the perfect garlicky crunch in each bite. The cafe is 80% hit and 20% miss. From the taquitos to the buffalo cauliflower...they pack a punch. But then you get the chicken pot pie, and you'll learn to appreciate the frozen ones. When it comes to grocery items, they are always a step ahead. Whether you want Jose Andres potato chips or chicken noodle soup the way abuelita makes it, they've got you covered. Really, Erewhon is a store with value if you have the eye to spot it. If you want to hate on it because influencers love to post "and we're at the most expensive grocery store in the world," or you choose to love it because you feel special for being able to afford it, you're wrong either way.
