My parents like to go here when they visit my little brother at college, so they wanted to go while I was there visiting. Obviously, I've seen this all over social media, so I was excited to get to try it!! The first time we went I got the ham and egg croissant sandwich. The woman behind me was pretty upset that I got the last one cause she was there specifically for that. It was incredible. The ham had such good flavor and the eggs were cooked perfectly. Amazing!!!! I also tried the social media famous Hailey Bieber strawberry glaze skin smoothie. I had previously rolled my eyes at the idea of a $20 smoothie, but it was actually soooo delicious and filled with really quality ingredients. My husband really liked their drip coffee. We went back the next day, and I tried the avocado tartine and the new Kris Jenner you're doing amazing smoothie. Both were good. Bonus points for the name on the Kris Jenner smoothie. Sooo funny!! Overall, this place is really expensive and not something I'd get all the time, but it's a fun stop on vacation. Both Saturday and Sunday morning were pretty busy, but things moved quickly. They have a cute outdoor seating area that was a nice place to enjoy our food. I can't wait to go back!

First time trying Erewhon! Obviously came to try the smoothies: strawberry glaze smoothie $20 golden hr smoothie jasmine tookes $22 Both drinks had a bit of a weird after taste. Wanted to try with the social media craze. Of course over priced. Wouldn't really order again based on flavor/taste. Hit or miss with the specialty drinks. Relatively easy to find parking here.

Every time I'm in Calabasas, I'm not just passing through... I'm living there for like a week. And let me tell you, trying to eat with my friends is a full personality test.Half of them are intermittent fasting, drinking air and vibes... and the other half? Oh, we're outside. We're indulging. So somehow we always end up at Erewhon trying to make everybody happy. This place is like the United Nations of healthy decisions and "just one treat won't hurt." You can come in for a green juice and walk out with pizza, a $20 smoothie, and emotional support snacks. Balance. And can we talk about the water section? Because why are there so many options?? I don't even know what half of them do, but I'm standing there like, "Yes... this one feels like it hydrates my soul." Because listen, if I'm eating pizza, I will be pairing it with some fancy water so I can feel like I made a good life choice. Now let's be real... part of the experience here is the people watching. It's Calabasas. You already know. You're gonna see somebody. And I mind my business -- I'm not a monster, I let people live their lives -- but in my head? I'm absolutely checking names off a mental list like it's bingo night. It's chaotic. It's bougie. It's a little confusing. But somehow... it works.Erewhon is that place where you go in for a snack and leave with a story. And honestly? That's why I keep coming back.

Me and my friend decided to treat ourselves to the Hailey Bieber and Jhené Aiko smoothies... because nothing says self-care like a $20 smoothie Was it expensive? Yes. Did we still buy it? Also yes. This location is way more crowded than The Grove and Studio City. Parking felt like a competitive sport. I aged at least 3 years trying to find a spot. Once inside, it was packed -- and I swear I felt slightly intimidated like everyone already knew what they were doing and we were just there holding our $20 smoothies trying to act natural LOL. That being said... the smoothies were actually really good. Creamy, refreshing, and made me feel like I had my life together for a solid 15 minutes. Would I come back? Probably. Would I mentally prepare first? Absolutely.

Erewhon is definitely a luxury grocery experience, but the quality truly shows. Everything is clean, beautifully organized, and thoughtfully curated. I have a membership, which makes shopping here even more worth it, especially with the member perks and savings over time. The hot bar and prepared foods are consistently fresh and flavorful, with plenty of healthy options that don't feel boring or bland. Their smoothies are excellent (yes, pricey, but very well made), and the ingredient quality is top tier. The staff has always been helpful and professional whenever I've visited, and the overall vibe is calm and upscale. I also appreciate the wide selection of organic produce, supplements, and specialty items you don't usually find at regular grocery stores. Is it expensive? Absolutely. But if you're looking for high-quality food, clean ingredients, and a premium shopping experience--especially if you have a membership--Erewhon delivers. You get discount on the hot bar and the grocery store. It's a great spot for health-focused meals, post-workout food, or just treating yourself once in a while. Highly recommend if quality matters to you.

I'm glad I finally got to try erewhon. The store was so nice and organized. All of the food was really good. We got the spicy capicola pizza, a plate with korean short rib & madras potatoes & buffalo cauliflower, the spicy tuna crispy rice and the amino acid trip smoothie. I will say though that erewhon is definitely a splurge, but they do use high quality ingredients!

So I was curious having heard so much about this place previously, and thought I would give it a look. This is basically a hyper-expensive specialty grocery store with a huge prepared food section. The did have a great selection of local beers. I toyed with getting something from the prepared food section but could not get past the small, pre-made $18 roast beef sandwich The staff was oddly detached and flat affects seemed to be the norm. Just not my kind of place I guess. I did score the aforementioned local beers and was on my way

Now THIS is luxury. Food is art here. Wow. Just... wow. Grocery stores are ruined for me forever. I'd heard of the $20 Hailey Bieber smoothie and Kardashians and whoever else in Hollywood talk about Erewhon. Visiting LA, I had to see it for myself. I feel spoiled, nobody should get to shop here. The way the produce is stocked so methodically is stunning. The cut vegetables perfectly arranged in packages, not one kiwi or mushroom out of place. Makes you wonder how much extra time it takes to stock the shelves here. They have all of the health food things you could want. From whatever sea moss is to spirulina to micro greens to natural wines and keto-friendly chips. Interesting brands, packaging, and graphic design abound. The prepared foods looked awesome, there were lots of people in line to just get some dinner here. We took a slice of coconut cake home and it was the best coconut cake I've ever had. I got a $20 smoothie. When in Rome. The woman at the counter said her fav was the vanilla matcha. It was great. No clue what was really in it. Hoping it was healthier than it tasted. It's Whole Foods on steroids or ketamine or sea moss or something.

The Calabasas Erewhon is my favorite location -- it's consistently clean, organized, and full of top-tier options. Yes, everything is expensive, but you're paying for the quality -- and it shows. The smoothies are incredible (you really can't go wrong with any of them), and the hot bar always has a fantastic spread no matter the time of day. The sushi is another highlight -- made fresh throughout the day by real sushi chefs in the back, with creative and surprisingly unique combinations. Weekends are extra fun with different vendors offering great free samples, and even when it's busy, the lines move fast. It's definitely a splurge, but if you care about high-quality ingredients and healthy food that actually tastes amazing, Erewhon delivers every time.

Wow, $20 for a small pre-cut dragon fruit--does it come with the dragon too?! LOL. I know Erewhon has its dedicated fans, and some folks think it's ridiculously overpriced. Honestly, if my income comfortably covered a small pre-cut dragon fruit for $20, I might consider shopping here more often. Even their freshly made dog food was around $20 a day--might as well cook a homemade meal for your Furbaby! The ambience felt rich and lively with lots of lines hahaha Erewhon certainly offers a wide variety of products--fresh, organic, non-GMO, gluten-free, salt-free, egg-free, dairy-free--basically, whatever "free" you're after, they probably have it. That said, it's probably not my first choice for regular, everyday shopping, as I find Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, and Sprouts to be more budget-friendly and accessible for most people.

The whole experience stressed me out but it is a beautiful store. The smoothie was good and the staff were very nice.

This is my favorite place in the world. The best hot bar ever. Kale white bean salad and almond butter blast from erewhon is my dream meal.

Visiting in the area and wanted to see what the hype was about. Definitely one of the most upscale and priciest grocery stores I've ever been to. Visited the hot bar & smoothie bar. The service was great and each employee I encountered was nice and helpful. I got the Korean short ribs, buffalo cauliflower, and macaroni & cheese. I also got the Hailey Bieber and Kali Uchis smoothies. Also, I wasn't expecting to see any celebrities but ended up seeing Taylor Lautner & Dave Chappelle. Of course, I was too chicken to say hello. I have to say my favorites were the buffalo cauliflower & Hailey Bieber smoothie, I would come back for those whenever in the area again.

On 1 particular occasion, a few weeks back, I was looking for a product & he looked in back & said he didn't have any. As I continued to shop at the store, Eddie comes running down the aisle I was in to tell me he found the item I was looking for in a different location. He handed me the item. You don't see customer service like that very often these days! I was really impressed with his professionalism & diligence in helping me get the product I wanted. During a recent visit, I picked up a bag I intended to purchase and briefly used my phone to take a photo. A manager approached me and asked, "Are you buying that bag?" in a tone that felt unnecessarily confrontational. What escalated the situation further was that after I requested corporate contact information from another associate, the same manager approached me again and continued the interaction in front of other customers, without attempting to de-escalate. Since then, I have made multiple efforts to address this matter directly. I contacted corporate, left a message, and was provided an email address which I confirmed multiple times--however, the email was incorrect and my message was not delivered. To date, I have not received any follow-up. I understand store policies, but professionalism and respectful communication--especially at the management level--are equally important. I hope this matter is taken seriously and addressed appropriately.

I now know definitively where to find it. They've also added the most incredible soft serve ice cream to their offerings. I also spotted that they now serve prosciutto which I was unaware of in the past and they have what appeared to be some delicious looking Caesar salads premade for about $15. I'm currently completely addicted to this amazing peanut nougat chocolate that they have. It's $5.50 a pop so as my original review states this place is Not exactly the $.99 cent only store but it's amazing selection of goods shows the purveyors attention to selection. They're keen on what they bring into the store and it shows. I've had a few bottles of wine from here. They were all yummy. I've yet to try any of their cheese, but it looks fantastic. As I go, I spend more and more time cruising what they have- they always have fine looking produce and I know occasionally they carry chanterelles. I do hope to scoop up some of those on a future visit (in season only of course). It does seem they really honor the seasonal pallet of things and from what I can tell most of their produce is local. They've also added a really lovely outdoor patio. All in all I'm very grateful this place in the canyon. They've saved me on a number of occasions when no dinner recipes came quickly to mind or when a soup hankering struck!
