I really love this Trader Joe's Sherman Oaks location -- it feels brand new, bright, and very well organized. Shopping here is always a enjoyable experience. Parking is super easy and convenient. You just drive up the ramp, go through the gate (it opens automatically), and there's no ticket needed. You even get one hour free, which is a huge plus. There's plenty of parking both underground and at street level in the Citrus Commons complex. I'm a big fan of Trader Joe's in general and shop here every week. What makes this store special is the selection -- you can find so many unique products that you won't see in other grocery chains, including a lot of European-style foods. Some of our favorites are eggplant spread, sauerkraut, frozen sweet cheese pancakes (blinchiki), pork dumplings, and many other great items. Prices are reasonable (around average), especially considering the quality and uniqueness of the products. The staff here is incredibly friendly -- honestly, one of the nicest teams I've seen in any grocery store. The atmosphere is always welcoming, clean, and easy to navigate. Another great bonus: there are actually two Trader Joe's stores right across the street from each other on Riverside Drive. This newer location is bigger, brighter, and has even more variety. So! I stopped by yesterday to get a Mother's Day card and flowers. I love buying flowers from TJ; they seem to last me a while with care. I also did my grocery shopping to get it out the way. It is on the smaller side, now that I spent a little more time in there browsing, but able to get what I was looking for. The aisles are spacious which makes the store appear bigger but it ain't. I did my rounds pretty quickly and it wasn't crowded. Pretty stocked up otherwise. The only downside: the female cashier who checked me out yesterday did not bag items for me (other places they do it automatically) that was odd. She stood there as I bagged them. Love that there are two locations right across from each other. I like the old location too and have been going there for years, but I LOVE the new location. It's new, there's ample underground parking and everything is so organized. This location is heavily stocked and always has what I'm looking for and employees are always there ready to help when I need something. When I can't find something, they're always willing to help me locate it. There are also mini carts for the kids to push around too and it's my daughter's favorite thing to do to help us gather everything we need. Don't forget! If you have kids, do the treasure hunt to find the raccoon. It's hidden for all to find. It's a fun little side mission the kids can do and once they get up to the register to pay, just let the cashier know the location they found it and they'll get a little treat! Fun! read more

Great store and always well stocked! The parking situation is easy breezy, the aisles are wide, and the displays look perfect. I love the special areas where they feature new and seasonal items. They also have amazing flowers! This TJs is great because it always has the items my local store doesn't. The cashiers here are effortlessly friendly too. This is one of the newer locations opened in the valley. Funny thing is, there's another store literally right across the street. Don't know what that's all about. Underground parking available as well as street parking in front and along the neighborhood. This location is part of a new development that's next to a new apartment complex. And located right across the street from Westfield shopping center. Right when you walk out of the elevator, there's two entrance into the store. Potted plants adorned the entrance which were all holiday attire. You then enter which is also the plants section and to the left is where veggies start. That layout is quite nice and the isles are quite big and wide. It wasn't too crowded when we arrived which was mid week. With Trader Joe's, all their staffs are alway friendly. Plus it's was also the relaunch of the mini tote bags as well as the large tote in green. They had someone right when you walk in handling the totes. Location wise is nice with two entrance to the parking lot. It's also better than the tight lot across the street. It's a nice spot and the store was very neat. read more

A spacious Trader Joe's with reasonable parking and an expanded selection? Sign me up! This Trader Joe's is not cramped in the least, has a great set up for parking below, and boasts a very strong selection of all the TJ treats you love! I like the space in the aisles, even in crowded areas there is plenty of room to pass by with carts. The produce section has just a bit more to offer than the standard Trader Joe's and when you think you're at the end of the aisles, there's an entire section still remaining! Delightful. Another reviewer complained about a hypothetical future where the elevators are a bottleneck--this is unusual speculation because many Trader Joe's already have this set up, and the elevators at this particular location are very spacious! I think it's a great idea to help the parking issue that normally plagues Trader Joe's locations. read more

New Trader Joe's across from the old Trader Joe's okay Sherman Oaks, I see you :) This extensive TJ's #2 in the city of the S. Oaks is thriving with an incredible spacious layout, street parking and a massive underground parking structure (first hour is complimentary) in this new spacious emporium of living, future shops and a cool coffee spot next door at the now Citrus Commons (formerly of the Sunkist building HQ). This Trader Joe's is also on Riverside Drive and can be access from Hazeltine Avenue or Riverside. I strolled in for some holiday extended weekend essentials and got the full insider scoop as well as layout down. I was really impressed with everything, including the service. Considering they have a few less registers than their older sibling location across the street it seems like they'll both be open and thriving for years to come. The quality is equal to next door as well with fresh produce, perfectly package nuts, cold beverages, milks, frozen goods, home goods, wine, cerveza including craft, spirits, dairy + non-dairy, and everything you'd hope to find at your local T. Joe's. Plants and flowers on display directly out front the main doors definitely give it that extra valley flare #1 has. Really glad I stopped in as I know I will again. Excited to see them grow, develop and welcome in the community, visitors, and their future above store residents. It's free for one hour. There are a few things that I buy weekly from Trader Joe's and many more rest of the time. The cheese isle is my most favorite. They carry variety of imported cheeses at great prices. Their organic fresh produce is reasonably priced as well. Love shopping at Trader Joe's and this just became my favorite location. She also clarified the bag charges on my receipt by proactively coming outside the store to explain the bag fees. Paul at the counter was friendly; however, the confusion regarding the bag fees originated at checkout and was proactively corrected by Luisa. Big TJ's fan here, so couldn't pass up the chance to be part of Opening Day! This location is in the new Citrus Commons retail and residential complex, across the street from the other Sherman Oaks TJ's (which I hear will remain open for some time). Got a warm greeting upon entering, plus a nice canvas tote and flower lei for being one of their first customers. While I still prefer my older, smaller, quaint Trader Joe's in Toluca Lake, it's good to see the company keeping up with the times and opening big, bright, modern stores. This location is well-spread out, wide isles allow easy navigation with your cart. Lots of parking. Uncovered spaces near the Hazeltine entrance or underground parking (the ramp is behind storefront). For underground parking, you take a ticket, 60 minutes free for now. I was a loyal trader joes costumer however today I had a completey unnecessary conversation with a female manager and it was very unsettling. The managers name is ELICIA store#267 date 12/10/2025 ~650pm. She was trying to make me feel embarrassed about my attire. I was harassed,judged, and DISCRIMINATED by the trader joes employee. Its an embarrassment to have their employee run around the store making customers feel uncomfortable. Everytime i go to a trader joes i spend upwards 100+ and to then be harassed during shopping COMPLETEY ruined my experience there. I was so ready to leave all my grocerys there in the store and just leave. Such disgusting deplorable behavior displayed by an employee! The manager shouldve minded her business. Unless i was causing a public disturbance then she'd have all the right. But, i didnt see signs about my situation being an issue so her pointing it out is insanely uncalled for. The gall of this woman to assume I dont know how my outfit looks like...very condescending! Im a stay at home mom. My only sense of normalcy was to go shopping at trader Joe's. What's better than one Trader Joe's? Two Trader Joe's directly across the street from each other. I live a block away so I walked over for the Store Grand Opening at 7:50am this morning, which included free gifts, speech from the store manager / Captain AND a ribbon-cutting ceremony right at 8am, complete with dance music and the first 250 customers getting "lei'd" by the dozen employees that stood at the entrance. ======== PARKING ======== Parking is HUUUUUGE (a rarity for a Trader Joe's) and located underground. A pleasant development with 100+ degree summer months on the horizon. Additionally, you can park on Riverside Drive itself RIGHT in front of the store Exit. There was plenty of parking this morning as well as when I passed by again this afternoon. The underground parking is good for ONLY 1 HOUR so in the future if you want to visit any of the upcoming other shops, you're going to have to pay or move. ========= LOCATION ========= Located at the (finally!) newly renovated Citrus Commons , "Trader Joe's (2) Too" sits on the corner of Riverside Dr & Hazeltine Ave in Sherman Oaks. It's directly across from the OG Sherman Oaks Trader Joe's location that has been rooted there for 50+ years. It's directly across the street from the Westfield Fashion Square Mall and a block from the gigantic Sherman Oaks Park. The store itself is one the ground floor, surrounded by both residential apartments above and (currently empty) retail businesses all around the complex. Interior-wise IT IS BIG! I was at the NoHo West and Tarzana stores opening day and while those are large, this store is bigger! Even bigger than the TJ's in Seattle and Texas. The inside has WIDE, SPACIOUS AISLES and the walls are super colorful with bright exotic designs, murals and creative font's. Very modern and chic. Additionally there were 3 sample stations giving out snacks. This place seems very similar to the NoHo Trader Joe's in terms of both store itself (size, layout) and location. OBSESSED! I'm a huge Trader Joe's fan & was so excited to see this new location opening. It's impossible to not feel a bit overstimulated at Trader Joe's locations from parking to paying but this location countered all that! I read this is one of their newest flagship stores so it was super spacious with wide aisles, PLENTY of parking in the underground structures & the lines moved fast! They also seemed to keep everything stocked up even their most popular items that go through quick. Staff here were all super friendly as well! I always grab a basket to get in & out quicker but this is my first Trader Joe's trip ever where I could grab a cart & ease my way through the store. Parking entrance located off of Hazeltine Ave. 60 min free garage parking...your license plate is reflected on the ticket picked up from camera at the parking gate station.
