I love their portions and the price! The flavors are authentic. Whenever I'm in the mood for Mediterranean food this is my go to. They also offer free delivery which is a plus plus! I really like their chicken soup for cool autumn days like today. The beef kebab plate for $11.99 is so worth it. Large pieces of well cooked beef with that awesome charred flavor. It comes with enough rice, pita, salad, and their delicious hummus. Do your self a favor and stop in when. You are in the area. The service is prompt and they are really sweet and accommodating! Thank you!

My husband and I just ordered here for the first time and I'm embarrassed to say that after we put in our delivery order, we realized we live walking distance, whoops! So with that being said, our food was delivered within 30 minutes. I ordered the chicken lula plate and my husband got the pork kabob, the portions were large, but my husband did said that the pork tasted over done, but my chicken was tender so I liked mine. I will most likely order again or even visit the location because we live so close!

Great food great atmosphere I saw this place on my way to the postal office and the smell just made me get in I'm so happy that I got introduced to this place because the food is very authentic and the service priceless

Garden salad that need to improve and should be cost less.

I always Order my Kabob here and I'm very disappointed on there Garden Salad and price for what I paid and this is most expensive Garden Salad I ever have .Compared to Jack N Box There Garden salad only cost 2.50 and this cost 4.99 and not even have enough Lettuce on is and tons of salad dressing that shouldn't be on it until you eating it This should be cost less and Put salad dressing on side until you eat it .Bad salad and Bad price .

Best Shawarma Wrap I've tasted so far. The sauce is so good too but each time I take out my orders of Shawarma Wrap, they only give a tiny container of the good sauce that it's not enough. Still my go to place for shawarma when craving for it.

Here's my #COVID19 and #OrderFoodLA review for NoHo Shawarma House! I ordered via Postmates and the delivery was fast! Everything was packaged carefully and the boxes were big! That's how you know they give you a generous serving! :) I've been meaning to try some solid shawarma for a few days now and was disappointed by some other options near Sherman Oaks/Encino delivery area. After a few failed attempts, I found some semblance of relief from this place! I got the Chicken Shawarma Plate with Fries ($9.99!) and the Falafel Sandwich ($5.99). The former came with salad, hummus, and a mountain of chicken and fries topped with garlic sauce, red onions, and cilantro. There were a LOT of chicken and fries! I basically tore my pita into two and made TWO big wraps. It was delicious and all for 9.99 bucks! You'll definitely get bang for your buck. As for the Falafel Sandwich, I'll be honest, I wasn't the biggest fan. While the wrap, the sauce, the salad were all packed in nicely with 4 big falafels, the falafels themselves weren't seasoned. I'm cutting a point JUST for that. But if they were, it would've been fantastic. The fries were crispy, the price was more than fair, the portion sizes were huge - I definitely recommend! Next time, I'll try their beef shawarma (which, I'm told is the only form of shawarma that should exist!).

Beautifully shaded outdoor patio with lush green astroturf carpeting. The outdoor seating area is dog friendly. The tables are decorated with beautiful placemats, plates and rolled up silverware. The waiter was friendly, placed a basket of pita bread for the table and helped describe some of the Lebanese dishes for me. Ordered an iced tea, fries and a chicken wrap. Went inside of the restaurant to use the restroom and on my way I saw the amazing desserts station, vintage serving trays & gold coffee pots, some classic framed photos of Lebanon on the walls, the kitchen and the indoor dining area. This was an amazing lunch and will come back to try more of the delicious food!

We ended up getting the feast for 2 because it was a great deal to try the meats and get 2 dips. It was all so delicious, with the exception of the pitas that came in a store bought bag. We really loved everything except the pitas. Would have been nice if they were warmed up at least. Everyone was very helpful in the restaurant and we also loved the lemonade with rose water and dessert. They even gave us some ladyfingers on the house. Would definitely return!

Although Raffi's in Glendale is usually my go-to spot, I met a friend here for lunch and it was a nice change of scenery. Not only did I love the idea of having an outdoor patio almost to ourselves, but the inside is really cute with its retro mint accents, old school chairs, and wooden tabletops. I also loved looking at the Old World Hollywood black & white photos up on the walls. The only conundrum is finding a seat inside since this place fills up quickly during the lunch rush hours. Also, some folks just park it so they can work on their laptops while sipping on coffee -- not that I can blame 'em. Their Mediterranean, Lebanese-inspired cuisine, and fusion-inspired grill fare is delicious and the portion sizes are ample. Juicy tomatoes and slightly charred zucchini and summer squash sat vibrantly on my plate. Their savory chicken breast kabobs are made with authentic spices, but more on the lean, dry side. So I prefer their falafels, dolmas, and grilled veggies on my plate. SOTTA touts their Tomato Soup as "the best in town". Not sure I'd agree. My bowl was piping hot, but a bit on the bland side. I'd personally opt for another salad if given a choice: Their babaganoush is creamy, Greek salad is crisp, while the Shirazi Salad and Quinoa Tabbouleh won't disappoint. I'll have to try the Sautéed Mushrooms next time because the red wine, teriyaki, and garlic marinade piqued my interest. As for their drink menu, the coffee is excellent. Or try a 20 oz. matcha that's infused with passion fruit or guava. It's worth the splurge. Although Skaf's in Highland Park is still my fave Lebanese restaurant, I'll still make my way over to SOTTA next time on this side of the hill. It's still continents closer than the Adriatic Sea.

Sorta used to be one of my go-to places, especially since it's within walking distance of my house…read more Unfortunately, my last two orders have been noticeably different from the quality and portions I had received in the past, and yesterday's order was especially disappointing. I ordered chicken breast, and the portions were surprisingly inconsistent. One piece was a reasonable size, while the other was significantly smaller and did not feel like a proper portion. The biggest disappointment was the Caesar salad with salmon. It came with only two very small pieces of salmon--approximately 1.5 ounces total. Honestly, even my cat would have been disappointed with that portion! It genuinely looked like they were down to their last small piece of salmon and divided it between the salad. As someone who is Persian and grew up eating this type of food regularly, I'm very familiar with the flavors, quality, and portions I would expect. Unfortunately, the food this time was well below average, both in taste and value. I would rate the taste about 2/10. It's especially disappointing because I previously enjoyed ordering from Sorta and appreciated having a convenient neighborhood option so close to home. But after two disappointing experiences in a row, I can't justify the price for the portions and quality I received. Sadly, I don't see myself returning. It's very sad that u spend 77$ for lunch for two and not be satisfied

what an amazing Mediterranean restaurant that is located in studio city! i did not know about this…read moreplace until my friend mentioned about it. what won me over about this place is the fattoush salad. it is a salad inside a pita and you break the pita from the top. booking reservations for 2 was really easy. my friend booked our reservation online and was able to pick the time we wanted to come. Upon arrival, they do have valet & parking structure that is for the general public. the valet guy was nice but we ended up parking at the general parking. i love hearing the music play when walking in the restaurant. check in process was really easy & we were sat at our table immediately. the table set up was really nice. i really like that they give you a fan as a free gift. it does get hot in there. the gentleman standing at the podium was very nice and welcoming. i LOVE live dancers / performers. once we were seated, the beautiful belly dance walked over to us and she was so amazing!!! also want to give a shoutout to the gentleman playing the guitar. really lovely music he was playing. our waiter, his name is ruben and he was absolutely amazing. such nice & lovely gentleman. for our first time he really made our time memorable. he was very attentive & reassured us to make sure we were enjoying everything. we first ordered our drinks. i got the yerevan, which was really smooth. my friend got the tequila summer, it was good & refreshing. as appetizers, we got the Soujoukh with Hummus with pita breads on the side. the soujoukh was absolutely delicious and you can't really go wrong with hummus. then we got the popular fattoush salad. my goodness, that salad left us speechless..in a good way. it was refreshingly delicious. i love when a salad has bell peppers, it's soo good! the pita itself with the olive oil drizzled on top was amazing. it had this yummy crunch which i looved. then for entree, i got the chicken combo plate and my friend got the shrimp plate. both plates were 10/10. the rice was so good, loved the seasoning on top. the Lula chicken and the 5 piece chicken on the skewers were soo good! i love how the lula chicken just slides off the skewers!! it was so yum!! i most definitely recommend! my friend enjoyed his plate as well, especially the shrimp. said, shrimp was cooked perfectly. the food was absolutely amazingly delicious that we were too full to get dessert. most definitely will try their dessert next time. i hope the next time we come ruben is our waiter again!

We were there yesterday at 4:20pm. The minute I saw that BIG dog, not only was it scary, but the barking inside a nice, homey restaurant was very loud and unpleasant. Even one of their servers and a child got scared.(looked a lot like a wolf). They came in like 3 minutes after we were seated. I complained to our waitress, Rada, and right away she tried defending them by saying it's a service dog. It had no collar nor a vest. I know a service dog when I see one. In addition to that, there were no blind, deaf people sitting at that table. Within less than 5 minutes, the owner and the dog left the premises. The restaurant looked a lot like a Chabad where a lot of Jewish people gather together and celebrate bar/bat mitzvahs, or other gatherings. Their menu has a lot to offer. Pastries, beverages, beer and wine. Vast selection of items and also vegan, plant based and vegetarian dishes. Also organic meals. Moving on with my review. My son and I ordered their small Hummus, ($9.95), which was very bland and needed some good seasoning such as pepper, oil, garlic etc.., we also ordered the same dish. 2 orders of their Quail Dinner that came with 2 salads, rice with some raw onions on top, grilled tomatoes, with fresh, hot pita bread. For both entrées, it was ($49.90). When the bill arrived, Rada removed the hummus without telling us. That was a very nice gesture. I didn't even say anything about it not being good. Our host Melida was also sweet and kind. We also got 4 pieces of their Fried Cheese Rolls ($2 per roll). The Lentil Soup was to die for. It was a very generous bowl ($7.95). I licked the bowl, and haven't had Lentil Soup in a very long time. Food was unbelievably delicious and priced appropriately for their portions. Also very fresh. Restaurant was clean along with their restrooms. One for each gender. Parking was shared with so many other businesses, had a nice size aquarium right by the entrance, and 2 more things. Former president Bill Clinton and the one and only tenor opera singer, Andrea Boccelli were photographed with the owner and placed on a wrong wall. Photos like that should be placed somewhere where everyone can see it. I may or may not return. It was barely 5:10pm, and they closed their blinds saying the reflection of the cars is bothering the photographer, when there were no cars nearby. In their amenities section, it says that they have a patio. Please update your system. There is no patio seating.
