Yesterday I was craving wings and wanted to find a place that wasn't commercialized. I wanted…read moresomething that tasted home-cooked. And I found Chic Wings! I called in a pick up order and the lovely lady over the phone was Liana. I called in an order and called again 2 times after adding more to my order. And of course I felt bad for having to call over and over again, but Liana made me feel like it wasn't a problem at all. She was kind and felt genuine. To me that was already a good sign. I came in and my food was HOT AND READY. Liana was such a joy to speak too. She was kind and generous and it's rare to come up on that. This was the type of connection I wanted to get from a food that was my favorite. THEY HAVE THE BEST DEALS ON BONE IN CHICKEN I SWEAR. I can't find anywhere with a better deal than them! And when I finally tasted the food, WOW. They definitely are no wingstop, and dare I say it surpasses it completely! Wings are big in size and cooked perfectly with crispy skin and juicy meat. And not to mention the flavors! I got the classic favorites: Garlic Parmesan, Lemon Pepper and Orginal Hot. And wow, you can taste the differences in sauces they make compared to other places I've tasted. It's saucy and not dry. Each wing is covered in flavor. I also got their garlic fries which was packed with garlic herb flavor. Chic Wings did not disappoint and I'm ready to come back and try their other flavors!

There's no restroom and there's a couple of tables to sit down and eat. There's a small shared parking lot with the other businesses in the lot. The food was very affordable and delicious!! Would come again!

I got the mango habanero combo medium with fries and celery and everything hit. The wings were crispy with a nice sweet heat and the fries were solid too. Service was quick and friendly. I asked about the Devils Tears level 4 and they warned me how spicy it was. They were not lying, it was super hot but still tasted great. I would definitely recommend this spot over Wingstop or B Dubs. Good wings, good service, and perfect for late night.

The owner is a super friendly guy and he really enjoys what he does. When he told me about some of the popular flavors, I listened. They have a huge variety of wing flavor options and the owner mixes it up and marinates the wings right in front of you. All the spices and marinades are right in front of him and he uses his magic to give you that perfect flavor. I decided to go with a large order , half spicy teriyaki and half hot lemon flavor wings. The owner also mixed in a few honey bourbon wings for me as well. They were delicious, with the flavors absorbing all throughout the wing, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The wings were accompanied by carrot sticks, salary sticks and their delicious ranch dressing. All in all, a very good experience, tasty, really fresh wings and a cool ambiance with the truck being on a block full of street food spots. Will definitely come back again!

What a HUGE difference it can make from one location to another. After the HORRENDOUS, DISASTROUS…read moreincident that I had at the Hot Wings Cafe earlier today, I drove all the way to the Sherman Oaks location to eat the same food that I was going to order at the Glendale location. I am still very angry and slowly my anger is subsiding. Walked in and got a very warm welcome from a guy named Joseph and wanted to know if I was eating in or getting food to go. I told him I am eating here and Xavior brought me a menu and I was seated instantly. This location does not have a patio so I sat inside. I ordered small 12 pieces bone-in Chicken Wings that came with celery sticks & carrots. It also came with ranch, BBQ and mild sauce. $17.95. Being so hungry and frustrated from the other location, I also got their Philly Style Steak Sandwich/the works that came with sautéed onions, green Bell Peppers, sautéed mushrooms & Provolone cheese ($13.95). Food tasted very delicious. Hot Wings were crispy, tiny pieces. Finger licking good tasty. Both Joseph & Xavior checked on me twice to make sure everything was ok. I also got a Mango/Nectar juice. It was a bit sweet for me; but, I watered it down with some ice. Asked for extra celery sticks & ranch dressing and within a second or 2, it was already on my table. The total came out to $41.25 and Joseph got the tip he deserved! Restaurant was very clean, including both bathrooms. Has a small parking space in the back but mainly street/metered parking. Overhead music playing todays hits, along with few TVs were around me. Enjoyed my food and this location very much!! Has 4 locations. Melrose, Glendale, Pasadena & Sherman Oaks. Thank you Joseph, all other employees, management, last, but not least Hot Wings Cafe. Will be back soon when I am craving for some delicious food from their extensive menu options!!!:-)

Only one sauce per order no matter the quantity of wings. An 8 piece includes one ranch or bleu cheese, but so does a 16 piece (when it should include two logically). Even if you buy a $10 order of onion rings, it doesn't come with any sauce, just ketchup that you have to specifically ask for which isn't even name brand ketchup. I understand some people are unrealistic and ask for an excessive amount of sauce that they never end up using and it goes to waste, but damn one sauce is pretty cheap. They could also include a bit more carrots/celery with an order of wings but its just a tiny pinch they throw in. Carrots and celery are dirt cheap anyway.

I don't even know where to start because this place genuinely impressed me…read more First off, the customer service was AMAZING. Like, the kind of service where you actually feel welcomed and not rushed or awkward for asking questions. The staff was super patient and took the time to really explain the menu and walk me through all the different spice levels, which I appreciated so much. I had questions about the menu and especially about the spice levels, and instead of rushing me or giving short answers, they took the time to fully explain everything. They broke down what each heat level feels like, how intense it is, and even gave honest recommendations depending on spice tolerance. You could tell they actually care about making sure customers enjoy their food, not just pushing orders out. I ended up ordering the Kluckin Tenders and decided to go all in by trying every spice level they offer: No Heat, Kluckin Mild, Kluckin Hot, and Kluckin Fire. Starting with No Heat, i tried the og tender to see how it was alone without any spice because I'm quite the chicken tender connoisseur haha. I was honestly surprised by how flavorful it still was. The tenders were crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and seasoned really well. Even without spice, nothing tasted bland or boring, which says a lot about the quality of the chicken and seasoning. Kluckin Mild was a nice step up. It had some heat, enough to let you know it's there without being overpowering. This felt like a perfect everyday option -- flavorful, balanced, and very easy to enjoy. Kluckin Hot is where the heat really starts to kick in. It definitely made me slow down, but I loved that the flavor was still there. It wasn't just spicy for the sake of being spicy. You could still taste the seasoning and the chicken, which is something a lot of places get wrong. And then there's Kluckin Fire. This one is no joke. It looks like it would absolutely obliterate my taste buds. It definitely looks scarier than it is! The heat builds fast and lingers, and the staff definitely wasn't exaggerating when they warned me about it! That being said, it's still well made. This flavor actually ended up being my favorite! If you're someone who actually enjoys serious spice, you'll appreciate this level. It's intense, but it feels intentional. I also have to talk about the sides! The coleslaw was actually really good. Fresh, super crunchy, and well balanced. Not overly mayo-heavy or soggy like a lot of places do it. It had just the right amount of creaminess that helped cool things down between bites, especially when working my way through the hotter spice levels. It paired perfectly with the tenders and was honestly a lifesaver once I got to Kluckin Hot and Kluckin Fire. The crinkle cut fries were another highlight. Super crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and perfectly seasoned. The crinkle cut shape made them extra satisfying, and they held up really well even as I took my time eating. They weren't greasy or limp at all! Which is always a plus. Dipping them in their kluckin sauce was so addictive. (Absolutely must have this with your meal here) Seriously, can we please bottle this sauce?! Overall, this place just does everything right. Great food, real spice options, and customer service that makes you want to come back. It's rare to find a spot where the staff is both knowledgeable and genuinely kind, and it makes a huge difference. If you're a hot chicken fan or someone who likes exploring different spice levels, this place is absolutely worth a visit. I'll definitely be coming back and already recommending it to friends. Thanks so much for having me!!
