Very solid experience at Paradise. I was next door dropping my car off for repairs and decided to give this place a shot. First of all, they have a small private parking lot in the back. Just a few spots but very appreciated. There's also street parking but we all know how that can get on Sherman Way. The interior is very welcoming and has a nice vibe. There's a handful of tables on the bottom floor next to the checkout/kitchen. They play mellow music and it's very chill. Didn't intend to dine in but ended up doing that because it felt right, you know? Got a veggie pizza and some fries. Everything came out piping hot and fresh. It couldn't have been out of the oven/fryer for more than 2 minutes before it hit the table. Fries were lovely, crisp, and well seasoned. Pizza hit the spot. It wasn't the most amazing pizza I've ever had, and certainly not one of the items I'm sure they're known for, but it was great in the moment. I like the type of cheese they use because it has a little more salt than your normal Mozzarella. I also tried my first tarragon lemonade, which was... not for me, LOL, but definitely interesting! And everyone was so friendly! Definitely plus points for excellent service. If you're around, give Paradise a try! The actual Armenian food looked awesome... I'll report back about the return trip!

I ordered a regular dish from the menu. Nothing complicated. The owner -- who was the one cooking -- told me it's 'too much work' and basically a 'pain' to make. Honestly, that says everything about how this place treats customers. If a dish is on the menu, it should be made without attitude or excuses. Zero professionalism. The service was hella friendly and genuinely dope from start to finish. Welcoming, attentive, and made the whole experience feel easy and comfortable without being overbearing. You can tell they actually care about the customers and the quality of what they're putting out. On top of that, the food was an absolute 10/10 fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. I ordered a Chicken Shawarma Wrap, Philly Cheesesteak and Soujouk Pizza. The Wrap had a very small amount of Chicken in it and was disappointing. The Cheesesteak was ok although I couldn't find the cheese ‍. The pizza was also ok although I'm not sure if the crust was just a store bought one. It was also thick. Regarding pricing, for the price if $12 I wasn't satisfied with the Wrap. Overall, just average. read more

So it's a real sharp turn on Sherman way, but it's such a great place The food was absolutely amazing And I don't know if they were the owners or the people that were working today but very nice people Parking is a bit of a hassle but like I said totally worth it They're chicken kabobs were to die for I am going back multiple times this week And talk about cleanliness their place was immaculate and the decorations were really nice and quaint Definitely would recommend this place 5 stars all the way read more

This is seriously one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at. Everything is homemade and perfect, every time! They put their heart and soul into it and you can tell. The salmon plate was incredible, the burgers are perfect and one of my go-to meals, and the wraps are incredible. Intimate and cozy, this place has excellent food and amazing charm. Mike, the owner, served us Khatchapuri as a complimentary appetizer and Gata as a dessert which had just been baked a few minutes prior and my god was it delicious. The shawarma is to die for and the portions are more than enough for one person, perfect to share. The Gata was so good it actually brought me to tears, it was as if they had invited me in personally to cook for me and they were so hospitable. Could not recommend this place enough!! read more

Like, the kind of service where you actually feel welcomed and not rushed or awkward for asking questions. The staff was super patient and took the time to really explain the menu and walk me through all the different spice levels, which I appreciated so much. I had questions about the menu and especially about the spice levels, and instead of rushing me or giving short answers, they took the time to fully explain everything. They broke down what each heat level feels like, how intense it is, and even gave honest recommendations depending on spice tolerance. You could tell they actually care about making sure customers enjoy their food, not just pushing orders out. I ended up ordering the Kluckin Tenders and decided to go all in by trying every spice level they offer: No Heat, Kluckin Mild, Kluckin Hot, and Kluckin Fire. Starting with No Heat, i tried the og tender to see how it was alone without any spice because I'm quite the chicken tender connoisseur haha. I was honestly surprised by how flavorful it still was. The tenders were crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and seasoned really well. Even without spice, nothing tasted bland or boring, which says a lot about the quality of the chicken and seasoning. Kluckin Mild was a nice step up. It had some heat, enough to let you know it's there without being overpowering. This felt like a perfect everyday option -- flavorful, balanced, and very easy to enjoy. Kluckin Hot is where the heat really starts to kick in. It definitely made me slow down, but I loved that the flavor was still there. It wasn't just spicy for the sake of being spicy. You could still taste the seasoning and the chicken, which is something a lot of places get wrong. And then there's Kluckin Fire. This one is no joke. It looks like it would absolutely obliterate my taste buds. It definitely looks scarier than it is! The heat builds fast and lingers, and the staff definitely wasn't exaggerating when they warned me about it! That being said, it's still well made. This flavor actually ended up being my favorite! If you're someone who actually enjoys serious spice, you'll appreciate this level. It's intense, but it feels intentional. I also have to talk about the sides! The coleslaw was actually really good. Fresh, super crunchy, and well balanced. Not overly mayo-heavy or soggy like a lot of places do it. It had just the right amount of creaminess that helped cool things down between bites, especially when working my way through the hotter spice levels. It paired perfectly with the tenders and was honestly a lifesaver once I got to Kluckin Hot and Kluckin Fire. The crinkle cut fries were another highlight. Super crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and perfectly seasoned. The crinkle cut shape made them extra satisfying, and they held up really well even as I took my time eating. They weren't greasy or limp at all! Which is always a plus. Dipping them in their kluckin sauce was so addictive. (Absolutely must have this with your meal here) Seriously, can we please bottle this sauce?! Overall, this place just does everything right. Great food, real spice options, and customer service that makes you want to come back. It's rare to find a spot where the staff is both knowledgeable and genuinely kind, and it makes a huge difference. If you're a hot chicken fan or someone who likes exploring different spice levels, this place is absolutely worth a visit. I'll definitely be coming back and already recommending it to friends. I love my handroll spots like KazuNori, Sogo, Joint, and Umiai. They all have pretty consistent rolls and service that pair together for a great experience. I stopped by Friday around 3:30pm and although almost all the seats were taken by the time I sat down, almost half the diners left by the time my first roll was delivered. So it's fair to say that they were not that busy. Service started off okay with my order being taken and ginger+wasabi plus a hot towel being provided. I started off with the spicy albacore on crispy rice. Although it was hot, the rice was not crispy and more soggy. I did enjoy the albacore topping however especially with the crispy onions. I will say, each hand roll is a good size but some have heavier rice than others, so it's a tad inconsistent. My favorite part though was definitely the seaweed. Each hand roll had the crispiest seaweed that I absolutely loved - every bite hearing and feeling that fresh crispy wrap really made a difference. The tuna hand roll tasted like pretty low grade tuna like you would find in a supermarket. The salmon was a bit chewy. The Negi toro however was amazing. This was practically a perfect hand roll. I expected more out of the Yunomi Special which had Spicy Albacore, Shrimp Tempura, Crunchy Onions, Truffle Soy Sauce. You couldn't taste the "truffle soy sauce" and the spicy albacore got lost with the shrimp tempura being so heavily battered and hot. The Unagi shrimp tempura was a bit better in terms of ratio but the unagi wasn't all that special like you would hope - buttery, soft unagi with a nice char. The Salmon skin was one of the better hand rolls to end my meal, it had a really unique and freshly baked feel and taste. Overall, my meal was WAY too fast, and this is one of the biggest drawbacks to Yunomi. I initially ordered every item at once except for the salmon skin roll, so the first to the last roll in that order took only 16 minutes. My first dish (spicy albacore crispy rice) was delivered at 3:10pm and my last roll at 3:26pm. Sorry but that's just absurd. I'm not in a rush, the restaurant wasn't busy, there was no need for my food to be delivered that fast. After my last roll I ordered one more - the salmon skin - and it took 10 minutes for it to be delivered just because my "chef" had moved down to another party so it took a moment to return to me. What made things worse and more annoying is having rolls delivered before I finished what I was currently eating. And almost every time I couldn't hear or understand what the person was saying when an item was delivered so I had to inspect it to see what it was. He was mumbling, looking away, and just putting no effort into customer service. I wasn't given or asked for more ginger, even though there were at least 4-5 workers constantly in front of me. I noticed there are no "specials" and even the menu itself is pretty limited and basic. Nothing unique or special about these items. At the end when I placed my final order, I was asked if I want the check after the last roll, which was fine so I said yes to that. But before the chef could even return to my area to serve me, the other staff member delivered my check, again as if to rush me out when plenty of seats were open, nobody was waiting, and they weren't closing anytime soon. I'm not sure what vibe they are aiming for here, since the aesthetic and design of the restaurant is truly gorgeous and far more unique and special than what the menu, service, and food deliver. But it seems like they want to be the fast food version of a hand roll bar and that's not what I would recommend or return to.

The food is a nice selection of sandwiches, salads, burgers and appetizers. The service was exceptional. Bartenders and food runners were great! We got a side salad and it was large enough to share. Ended up also getting a burger with fries. Adding 2 beers our meal was a little over $50 - great deal! Went there to watch the World Cup and there were tvs both inside and outside. But man, is it hot; they need to fix that heating issue because on our last visit we had to move seats a couple times to find the right spot with some AC, which is ironically at the front of thr store really close to the windows. It's the only spot where the AC blew. In the back, however, it was hot because the ceilings go way up high, so the AC gets trapped up high and never reaches the bottom. Not good during summer heat; it's hard to relax and grab a cold one with friends when you're trying to survive that heat. Other than that, this bar is a great spot to hang out if you can survive the heat.
