I was looking for Italian style pizza and found this place in Yelp and surprised that I didn't know about it being that I always frequent the nearby Thai place. Ordered a whole meat pizza a few months back and recently ordered from DoorDash their steak sandwich and the Alfredo pasta. I never dined in but the first visit was for the to-go pizza. Dining area is not that big but it's in a nice corner location so lots of window space and they have TVs if you ever want to watch sports. Since this is close to work - DoorDash delivery is good I got my orders (did it 2x) still warm. My pasta was hot and still creamy when I got it. Pretty good serving. I got the Meat Lover's pizza from here for a quick lunch break. There was a lot of pepperoni and sausage on it. The meat was pretty salty. I like that somehow this pizza was less oily than a standard pizza. Overall I'd say this pizza was mid though as I've had better. But it wasn't unpleasant to eat. The mozzarella sticks were pretty much standard too in terms of mozzarella sticks. I felt like it wasn't that good for the price. Everything came together perfectly with the olives, feta cheese, banana peppers, organic spinach, cucumbers, and all the fresh ingredients. Super flavorful and refreshing. I love Napoli's pizza and salads. The ingredients are good quality and are definitely a step above your average pizza delivery place. Of course you are going to pay a higher price point for better quality pizza so don't expect Dominoes prices! I recently ordered their large veggie pizza, a small cheese pizza and an antipasto salad. A solid late-night option for an Italian dinner! The space is very well kept and has a nice modern feel to it. Service was pleasant but nothing too over the top; we ordered at the register and did not interact too much with anyone after that. We had the Beer Battered Zucchini Sticks, Caesar Salad, Medium Napoli's Combo Pizza, and Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken. My standouts were the caesar salad, which was very fresh and had a very anchovy forward dressing that I enjoyed, and the pizza, which was cooked perfectly and had a great savory flavor to it. Portion sizes were great too as we were able to split everything between 3 and have plenty of leftovers. My family of four came here on a Wednesday evening, and all of the food was fantastic. It's great to have a pizza restaurant that also has excellent pasta dishes. That isn't always the case. The waitress was also kind ant attentive, and the restaurant was clean and well kept . We'll definitely be back, but probably for take-out only. Why? The place is really too small. So, I drove to Napoli's Pizza Kitchen in Van Nuys to see if their name really can replicate the standards that I've been looking for. I ordered the Pizza Margherita with a Mexican Coke. The pizza has fresh mozzarella and cut basil on top. Dough to me was average, crust was fine and was sliced thin. It tasted like Margherita with 4 stars, close but not close enough. The dough lacked the softness which is characteristically Napolitana. They also offer other pizza designs and choices, parking was ample at the back of the store and the lady was nice. Napoli's has been my go-to for a year ... until tonight. Something has been off with their pizzas for a bit. At first, I thought it was the delivery, or it had sat too long, or something. Their crust has been shrinking over the past 6 months, which is the one thing that kept me ordering. After their crust had shrunk, the taste remained excellent. Tonight, the pizza and fried sides were wholly underwhelming, to the point where I felt compelled to write a review literally an hour after picking up my food. I got the spinach-artichoke white pizza, added ricotta, and chicken. It was incredibly bland, and I had to add a fair amount of salt and garlic powder to my pizza to make it palatable. The service has always been impeccable, but currently, the pizza is not as good as it used to be, ESPECIALLY for the price. Came here around 5:30 pm in between swimming at my friend's place nearby. There was free street parking right in front of the restaurant and we could see people parking in the spot we didn't take as they grabbed to-go orders from inside. We decided to eat in since we hadn't ordered beforehand. My boyfriend and I decided to get the jalapeño poppers, the fettuccine carbonara, and the small size of the Brussels pizza. Total came out to less than $60 without tip. My friends decided to share an order of fries, the mozzarella sticks, a Margherita pizza, and a pistachio cake from the Cheesecake Factory. The employee attending to us was very friendly. She gave us cups for water, utensils, and extra plates. She brought out the appetizers within minutes. The jalapeño poppers were crispy on the outside and gooey with cream cheese on the inside. They were served with a side of ranch that was slightly runny and had a good amount of herbs. The mozzarella sticks looked equally good. Next came our pasta. It was soooo delicious, probably my favorite thing that we ordered. It was a big enough helping that my boyfriend and I shared. It came with two crispy pieces of garlic bread that I used to dip in the sauce (which wasn't skimped on). It was exceptionally creamy without feeling too oily. The bacon and peas went so well together and added a nice texture to the pasta. Super flavorful! We didn't realize how similar the pasta and pizza would be. I had chosen the pizza and my boyfriend the pasta. The pizza was almost just as good. Still very creamy white sauce but the cheese was just a slight bit more overpowering because of the big globs of it. Not complaining at all though because it was still delicious. The bacon and Brussel sprout pieces added great flavor and texture. We ended up taking 3 pieces home which I ate the next day for lunch. Such a yummy spot! I've had my eye on this place for some time now. It has been on the radar! I was greeted by the owner when I came in to order. He and his staff are extremely friendly. I ordered a small Margarita pizza and also ordered the Fettuccine Carbonara. I felt by ordering these two items would give me a better idea of what the rave is all about. It's not the cheapest option however sometimes you pay for what you get. The food turned out to be totally on point. The pizza could stand up to anything you've tried elsewhere.
