|[ s t a n d a r d s ]| 1.5 stars rounded up. Standards of the restaurant are quite unreasonable. First of all, the tables do not get wiped down unless requested. I actually wiped the crumbs off my table and when I asked that it be wiped the lady said "it's clean" while she wiped. Lol. It appears "clean" because I wiped off the crumbs. Also women's bathroom is unacceptably dirty. |[ w h e r e s m y f o o d ? ]| But probably the worst thing was that my order was somehow never put in. After realizing my food wasn't going to come after almost an hour, I inquired and only then was my food being made. They did give a complimentary drink to compensate which was a nice gesture, but I'd say the standards of the place could use some improving. |[ v e r d i c t ]| I've been here before and the food took forever then too (although it wasn't busy). Coupled with mediocre food, not sure I'd come back unless absolutely desperate for a place to work on my laptop since the spacious dining area is about the only thing worth coming for (however, the atmosphere is like a subpar college dining hall). Panera has quick and friendly service. Easy to use app. Even though the service is awesome, the products are fair. Now lets talk about the coffee that is highly hyped. Coffee here is not my best favorite. It's not always as fresh as you expect. Also Panera has a secret menu. It's so secret that even the cashiers sometimes don't know about it. How it works: You have to look online at the Panera Website to find a list of delicious breakfast bowls, salads and other goodies that are clearly labeled with all the best ingredients. Once you pick what you want, you MUST tell the cashier that you're ordering from the Secret Menu. After a few questions and suggestions, you'll get your order - which will taste that much more delicious! Happy Hunting! read more

I have not been to a Panera since right before Covid so I was totally shocked by their ridiculous prices. Even for today's times, these prices are really high. Plus, the pastry I ordered was tough and tasted old. However, the guy working there , was very nice and helpful. He gets the three stars. Won't be back because of the high prices and food. read more

It's irritating when a delivery food place gets your order wrong. Once is understandable. Twice is annoying. But at least 50% of the times is ridiculous and shows they have NO quality control. Tonight, my son placed an order on the Panera app. Half an hour later, I tried to track the order but there was no order and it took me to the payment screen. So I paid. 10 minutes later I get the delivery. 35 minutes later I get the second order. Oh well, I say, now we have lunch tomorrow. The only thing I wanted was the cinnamon roll (my son took the one from the first delivery). Guess what? THEY FORGOT IT!!! Two identical orders, one is correct and one is not. Not an acceptable error rate. It's not Panera, per se. their food is decent. It's THIS Panera. It needs new management. I'm never ordering from this location again. read more

If it was the girl at the register id give 5 stars. She was so kind and helpful. And to an elderly customer she went above and beyond Now I did my order on the kiosk. 3 soups. Chicken rice, tomatoes and French onion. It took a long time but I was patient. The girl at that counter making the foods was super rude. She would put bags up and not call names. Someone ahead of me asked and she snapped at him. I waited. Got home. And the cheese and croutons for the soup were not there. I'm sick. So going back is not possible. But the cheese is half of what makes this soup. read more

Delivery via app. Ordered a bowl of soup. Got a cup. Ordered a a baguette got nothing. Paid over $15 for a cup of mediocre soup. Called the store right away They do not care. Took me a while to reorder and give them a shot today. Last time my salad was hot and brown , soup was cold. Called Panera then too- did not care or offer a thing to make it right. Done. Too many options around to support a crappy business. Ugh. read more

This location is a hit or miss... my #1 pet peeve though is that the chicken noodle soup is nothing but broth. I never have a decent amount of noodles, chicken, veggies, it's always just sooo much broth. read more

UNACCEPTABLE! Ordered the white cheddar steak sandwich and this is what I got ($15). Very little meat, and just basically thrown together. On the bright side, my girlfriends turkey sandwich was good and actually had meat (I had to eat it because she's pregnant and I said no onion, and of course she must have thought I said extre? ) highly disappointed, and now I'm making her a grilled cheese after spending $30 on two very mediocre (being nice) sandwiches. read more

I've debated leaving a bad review of this Panera location for a long time, but have never cared enough. Until now, when the cashier just asked me to "please leave them a good Yelp review". HA!!!! I adore Panera, and when I moved close by to one, I was super excited. But every time I come here I'm disappointed. It's ALWAYS filthy, they ALWAYS get the order wrong, they're ALWAYS understaffed (or at least it seems that way) and they're food is ALWAYS unappealing when it gets to your table. I truly believe they recently installed the restaurant pager system JUST to save you a trip back to the counter to tell them they messed up your order. With Panera being a franchise, it's always a toss up what quality you're going to get between management. I was hoping with the other location closing down, this one would step up its game. Apparently not. I hope they get their act together. It's so convenient with it being right around the corner. But I'm always hard pressed to come back because they might not even have what I like ordering, which is the bread bowl. Half they time they're "sold out"!!! Not "we have more in the oven", or "I'm sorry, we never make enough we should remedy that." It's all so so so frustrating. read more

Been here more times than I can count! Park in the back parking lot and make sure to have your rewards card in hand for any special offers! My usual go-tos come around dinner time and get a sandwich or a "Pick 2" half sandwich and half soup (but you can substitute a salad instead). I love the chicken Napa Almond sandwich which comes with a side choice of bread, apple or chips. A pickle is always included. The Turkey is amazing too, in fact, all the sandwiches are. Calories are listed in case you're counting! The French onion as well as the chicken noodle soups are worth the pick two option -- just get a little bit of everything to go, or pick a table in-house, which will be brought to you. Additionally recommended is the chai tea latte which is far superior to Starbucks. I haven't had any of the other coffee drinks, but I love it. I can't really call Panera a breakfast place, it's really more for lunch or a lite dinner. If you're into bakery items, there is a generous selection, as well. read more

Listen up, sometimes you just need comfort. What's more comforting than a bowl of soup and a hunk of bread? If you said a bowl of soup INSIDE of bread, then you're in luck. Panera has BOTH. I highly recommend their 10 Vegetable Soup as a great vegan option--a lot of their bread and salads are vegan too. I just looove soup. Like, seriously, how much soup have I reviewed? Yikes. Anyway, HIGHLY RECOMMEND this one. This location seemed a LITTLE bit...overwhelmed by the amount of online orders. It got busy in there fast which is bad when you're trying to grab your stuff and go because...pandemic. Ya know? They did have a person who was handing out the orders which was great though. This Panera is super RUDE and aggressive. I am part of the SIP club for a long time now. I go to many of the different Paneras all over town. They are very friendly and usually if you've already checked in on your phone, they just wave at you and say Hi. This Panera for some reason attacks you and repeatedly ask you and has you come back over to the cash register after you just checked in to pick up my cup, hand me my cup and saw my name on the ticket and they have a real serious issue. Sometimes I use my own cup so that we don't have a bunch of plastic cups at the bottom of the ocean and so that it stays hotter or colder, which shouldn't be a problem. They should be happy about that. They're saving money on cups and then every other location, they are fine with it . Several people in there do this that are very aggressive. It makes it unpleasant to even go in there. They need to get a grip on their customer service.Sip Club is for them. You want us to do Club so that we get in there they need to get on the ball and stop being so rude. I think one of the most aggressive people is the manager. read more

It's kind of weird to me when people in Los Angeles complain about the prices of the food. You genuinely could have looked at the menu prices prior to ordering and prior to writing snarky reviews. I had a gift card and I stopped in to redeem it, and I was greeted by the best customer service I've had in a while. Sergio is a top tier manager. He greeted each staff member while I dined by name and asked them how they were. The workers all had a smile on their face and he even knew a few of the guests name. From someone in hospitality to another, I know how draining this work can be and he is 10/10 a top tier employee. The ambiance is normal to any other Panera I've been to. It was not dirty at all, compared to what these reviews are saying. I got the Mexican corn soup, should have went with my broccoli and cheddar, but it's still tasty! It also came out piping hot. Once again, Sergio was awesome and Tindra came into work chipper and happy! read more

Placed an order for 2 bagel packs last night. Received a confirmation this morning the order was ready so I headed over to pick up my order. It was not on the shelf and I had to ask for it. When I arrived to my morning meeting it was discovered that my packs had no cream cheese in either box. That is 4 cream cheese tubs that I paid for and did not receive. Unbelievable!!!!! They had one job! I called Panera and the gentleman I spoke to had no clue how to place the call on hold and I could hear his conversation with another employee. Very unprofessional! The general manager picked up and she is probably the worst GM I have ever spoken too. No apology or accountability for her team's mistake. She then told me I had to give her my credit card info over the phone to give me a refund. Umm no! LA has too much credit card fraud and because your team can't follow simple instructions, how do I know my credit card info will be disposed of properly or worst stolen by staff. I will now have to spend extra time traveling back to this location to get a refund. I will also be filing a complaint with the BBB. It's absurd I can't get a refund online when I paid for my order on line. When you have a GM that has no clue how to do service recovery, it speaks volumes to the leadership at this Panera. I strongly suggest you stay far away from this Panera. They don't deserve to be in business. read more

This is the kind of place you stand online and wait for them to help the other person. They give you a buzzer to pick up your food. If you need the restroom then go wait for them to finish helping the other guy. Only one person at the register but I saw others People. Just not any the counter. People Seem happy to be here. Several on computers etc. Parking in the rear. There is parking for several business' you could get lucky and close. Not my preference in restaurant. Good news is they stayed in business and that's an accomplishment. If you like the food there seems to be many of then thru California. read more

I stopped in for a quick bite here, as it's the only Panera close to my area, and I was so happy with the food and service! It was Memorial Day and they were very busy, yet the staff was fantastic and kept things moving with great service. Will be coming back soon! read more

Lots of parking available in the back! They did not have flatbread in stock unfortunately. Ordered the two item combination and ordered the bbq flatbread (on sourdough instead), the fuji apple salad and the blood orange lemonade. The sandwich was a bit smaller than usual since it was not on the flatbread. read more

Previously have been here and it's been good but I just lately have been ordering drinks online and they changed where to pick it up a few times over the last year or so; what's the point of ordering online and go to the pickup area and not be able to pick up a cup which is right behind them. Though they have forgotten an item all 3 times that I ordered delivery through their website, this time they really went above and beyond to correct this. The guy I spoke to made sure to send me the missing item through delivery again, and it arrived at my door in less than 20 minutes. When I opened the bag, not only were there two of those items, but also an assortment of pastries. They added all those as a kind gesture, and it was a pleasant surprise! I appreciated the effort they put in after making that mistake. Overall, a great customer service experience. The food and smoothie I ordered were also delicious as always. read more

A female manager here named Taylor = USELESS. I just called the restaurant because I received my order with my baguette just THROWN in the bag. NOT CUT PROPERLY, NOT BAGGED PROPERLY (there wasn't even a separate baggy or wrap in the bag for me to think it possibly unraveled), SO disgusting. She didn't apologize, she cut me off while I was speaking & she offered zero compensation (or even to REPLACE my baguette that I'm out of & paid for) and simply said "I'll speak to them to know how to wrap things properly." This is not only unsanitary but severely unprofessional, heading to corporate about this. So much drama over a baguette I would have been over it if she had simply acknowledged and apologized. But to make me feel like an a$$ over THEIR mistake = not right. read more

First they couldn't find my order and I waited 15 minutes when it said my order had been ready and then they made my sandwich completely incorrect I ordered a specific way because I don't like half of the stuff on the sandwich and they decide they don't have to make it that way I'll waste of my lunch and a waste of my time read more

The sides were wrong. The driver was to leave my order at my door but the driver left food on mailbox rather than walk upstairs. I only knew where my food was cuz the pic. I'd take tip back if I could and give zero stars if I could. read more

Sometimes I have to remember why I stopped visiting a place. Panera today is a prime example of such. There was only one person in line so I figured this was a good sign. Placing the order was no issue, nothing memorable either. Went to use the restroom while waiting which is for customers only. Said the 4-digit code was on the receipt. I typed in what appeared to be all the 4-digits on my receipt and none of them worked. Oh, and the women's room was out of service. Went back to retrieve my order and then to see if I could get in again. A man was coming out and he looked at me as I was going into the men's room. Pointed to the sign to the women's. He got it. Thank God it was a stall in addition to a urinal since someone else came in. I prayed he wasn't using the urinal since I wasn't sticking around (this bathroom was not really that clean btw). I came out, washed my hands and got the hell out of there. On the way home, my side item was missing. FML. I will admit I am partially at fault for not checking my order before I left. Others will say I should not have to. Between this and the bathroom, this visit was an EPIC FAIL. read more

The sauce is just enough to give the dish a nice glaze and it's not overpowered with garlic flavor. Customer service is always exceptional and they're always extremely friendly plus welcoming. It is a smaller restaurant with around fifteen tables, and on weekend nights it can be quite a lively atmosphere but it's never too loud. I appreciate the plants they have on the walls and around the restaurant to give it a nice atmosphere. A must-visit for any vegan/vegetarian in the SFV, but carnivores who appreciate quality Thai food will enjoy this as well.

The only downside to eating at the restaurant is that the parking lot can be extremely chaotic (right next to a Trader Joe's, IYKYK). Try to avoid going at peak grocery shopping hours.

I'm a huge fan of the Ahi Tuna Plate - which I get cooked well-done instead of seared and I love their salads so I get the Arugula salad and the Spinach salad as my sides. Flavors are great - very satisfying lunch or dinner option. Also love all the new menu items they have -- they keep the menu fluid and seem to add new things a lot so there are always new things to try. I love the Falafel - and I'm picky about my Falafel. Also, the braised beans are very tasty. Their beverage options are plentiful -- green juice, mint lemonade, a couple different kinds of iced tea, sodas and they have beers as well (according to my friend: "good ones"). The team they have in there right now is LOVELY, kind, friendly, fast and really welcomes you. Plenty of free parking, which is always nice. Located on the 2nd level with an elevator, an escalator and stairs so access options for all! :) I go here several times a month for a quick bite and Tender Greens always delivers. So they've gotten past their Covid failure and turned into one of my Studio City staples. Also, it's not a fancy place, but their second floor location, provides sort of a nice view of Ventura Blvd and the mountains in the distance. I like going in and sitting there for a bite. Ok.... So I love Panera bread, I mostly eat Soup and Salad from there. I went to the Sherman Oaks location about 2 weeks ago and bought a raisin crumb bread that they had on the counter at check out. I ended up giving it to my mom who is in town to take to my sisters house.....she loved it!!!!! I had her over at my place 2 days ago and before driving her back to Palmdale, she asked that we go get more of that bread. I took her to the location in studio city (Not the sherman oaks location I bought it at the first time) when we got there they had one on the rack in a bag behind the counter and one in a basket on the counter, exposed. I asked for the one in the bag and wanted it sliced. I guess it got smashed in the slicer, so without even asking if I wanted the exposed one, she grabbed and sliced that one. When she handed it to me, I asked if it is fresh and she assured me is was. WELL.... This morning my mom text me and told me that the bread she gave me was CRANBERRY, NOT RAISIN BREAD. Ordered a sandwich, some soup and cookies. Sandwich looked like it was thrown together, a sloppy mess. All bread and lettuce, skimpy protein. Bread was dry too. Salvaged what was possible, tossed the rest. Looked over the baked items in the display case. Many of the cookies looked like they'd been sitting there a while. One batch of chocolate chip cookies appeared to be fresh though. Asked if they were and response was that they had just recently come out of the oven and were still warm. Got two. When biting in to one, nearly cracked a tooth. They had managed to overcook them. Hockey pucks. Into the bin. Soup was decent. Great! $35 for some soup. Such a deal! Restaurant makes you stand outside and they'll bring the food out to you. So evidently it's no problem to come inside and order food and pay but somehow lingering even two minutes longer inside, the customer's presence risks turning the place into a leper colony. After one receives their food, Panera has good accomodations--whether you are dining alone or with a group; there are booths, tables, large tables, and small booths. We came in Saturday to get take out. The cashier is friendly, but she seemed so out of it when I odered a Turkey Bravo with no bacon and no cheese and it should be few cents less than $7. She kept charging me for the cheese ( $1 ) more, but I wasn't ordering cheese. lol. My girlfriend orders Brocolli cheese bread bowl. It took about 15 minutes, quite longer than normal. So we head to car, made it just in time for the meter, and went home about 5 minutes away. Don't ask me why I went back here, but yesterday I was so hungry and driving around with just a couple of minutes to grab a bite to eat. I walked in, stood in line for 5 minutes without it moving, decided to starve and walked out. The food really isn't the problem. It's descent, not great, not bad and the portions are pretty big. The wait though, for something that is not that good is silly. The people must go here for the free internet. Last time I ate here the sodas were flat, but the soup is pretty good. Another strike against this location is the bathroom. Beware- do not go in even if there is no out of order sign. I walked in saw the mess and gagged my way out. I often visit Panera Bread to have breakfast and get some work done. I like this Panera Location the Best. It has great customer service, they typically keep everything in full supply (some locations run out of items or allow items to run low). One time I needed an Oatmeal slightly after 10:30am, and they made sure that they accommodated that request. One thing I do feel that breakfast should stop at 11am instead of 10:30, and cleaner bathrooms (even if they have to hire an outside service to clean it everyday) but other than that the restaurant stays clean and great customer service. read more

Panera Bread is the best, they have so many healthy & low calorie options to choose from. Everything from their soups, salads, sandwiches, and sweets are DELICIOUS! I've tried PLENTY from here to know. I'm a regular here, and I love it. They are expensive compared to subway for example but they're food is great. read more

This place is great for the free wi-fi and has decent food, though a bit salty. If you're looking for good coffee though, go elsewhere. They do make amazing hot cocoa and their mochas are OK, but their other espresso drinks leave something to be desired. The staff is always friendly and helpful! read more

I eat here all the time. The "Pick Two" is the best deal on the menu because even though they say it's a half salad, it's still pretty big. he food comes out really quickly and it always tastes fresh. The outside sitting area is great, especially when they have a fire in the fireplace. read more

We love Urbane Cafe. There needs to be more of them…read more The freshly made bread is so good that it almost doesn't matter what you put between it, you know it's going to be a solid sandwich. Even the salads, which are decent, come with a piece of bread, so everybody wins. The NoHo West location is perfectly fine. The small parking lot can turn into a madhouse when it gets busy, but it's a good spot to grab lunch, sit on the patio if the weather cooperates, then walk around NoHo West or hit Trader Joe's. We personally prefer the Burbank location because the parking is easier and the restaurant is bigger. Studio City location is closest to us, but somehow still our last resort.

When I realized that the meeting was really close to City Wok I made it a point to get food because this is the only place I've ever found Sesame Beef prepared correctly. I brought my lunch box and ice packs to take some back to Nash, too. I ordered 2 full orders and they were made fresh, but it didn't take too long. The staff was super friendly, too. My Sesame Beef was just as good as I remember. The 2 orders were enough to be 4 meals (1 on my flight home and 3 dinners for the following week). I wish I could have eaten it slower, but it was just too good. If I need to go back for another stupid meeting, at least I know that this place is still going strong!

Because Chick-fil-A chose to use the same building, this Chick-fil-A looks and feels different from any other location. Entering is like going back in time, as the original building, seating, counters, etc., were left intact, giving guests a nostalgic feeling that they were dining in the 1950s, The building is well preserved, clean, and well organized. Employees were very friendly, happy, and hardworking. The food was typical Chick-fil-A, delicious and well prepared. When I'm in the area, this will be my go-to spot for breakfast, as I am a HUGE fan of the Egg White Grill breakfast sandwich.
