It's irritating when a delivery food place gets your order wrong. Once is understandable. Twice is annoying. But at least 50% of the times is ridiculous and shows they have NO quality control. Tonight, my son placed an order on the Panera app. Half an hour later, I tried to track the order but there was no order and it took me to the payment screen. So I paid. 10 minutes later I get the delivery. 35 minutes later I get the second order. Oh well, I say, now we have lunch tomorrow. The only thing I wanted was the cinnamon roll (my son took the one from the first delivery). Guess what? THEY FORGOT IT!!! Two identical orders, one is correct and one is not. If it was the girl at the register id give 5 stars. She was so kind and helpful. And to an elderly customer she went above and beyond Now I did my order on the kiosk. 3 soups. Chicken rice, tomatoes and French onion. It took a long time but I was patient. The girl at that counter making the foods was super rude. She would put bags up and not call names. Someone ahead of me asked and she snapped at him. I waited. Got home. And the cheese and croutons for the soup were not there. I'm sick. So going back is not possible. I've debated leaving a bad review of this Panera location for a long time, but have never cared enough. Until now, when the cashier just asked me to "please leave them a good Yelp review". HA!!!! I adore Panera, and when I moved close by to one, I was super excited. But every time I come here I'm disappointed. It's ALWAYS filthy, they ALWAYS get the order wrong, they're ALWAYS understaffed (or at least it seems that way) and they're food is ALWAYS unappealing when it gets to your table. I truly believe they recently installed the restaurant pager system JUST to save you a trip back to the counter to tell them they messed up your order. With Panera being a franchise, it's always a toss up what quality you're going to get between management. I was hoping with the other location closing down, this one would step up its game. Apparently not. I hope they get their act together. It's so convenient with it being right around the corner. But I'm always hard pressed to come back because they might not even have what I like ordering, which is the bread bowl. Half they time they're "sold out"!!! This Panera is super RUDE and aggressive. I am part of the SIP club for a long time now. I go to many of the different Paneras all over town. They are very friendly and usually if you've already checked in on your phone, they just wave at you and say Hi. This Panera for some reason attacks you and repeatedly ask you and has you come back over to the cash register after you just checked in to pick up my cup, hand me my cup and saw my name on the ticket and they have a real serious issue. Sometimes I use my own cup so that we don't have a bunch of plastic cups at the bottom of the ocean and so that it stays hotter or colder, which shouldn't be a problem. They should be happy about that. They're saving money on cups and then every other location, they are fine with it . Several people in there do this that are very aggressive. It makes it unpleasant to even go in there. They need to get a grip on their customer service.Sip Club is for them. You want us to do Club so that we get in there they need to get on the ball and stop being so rude. I think one of the most aggressive people is the manager. read more

Been here more times than I can count! Park in the back parking lot and make sure to have your rewards card in hand for any special offers! My usual go-tos come around dinner time and get a sandwich or a "Pick 2" half sandwich and half soup (but you can substitute a salad instead). I love the chicken Napa Almond sandwich which comes with a side choice of bread, apple or chips. A pickle is always included. The Turkey is amazing too, in fact, all the sandwiches are. Calories are listed in case you're counting! The French onion as well as the chicken noodle soups are worth the pick two option -- just get a little bit of everything to go, or pick a table in-house, which will be brought to you. Additionally recommended is the chai tea latte which is far superior to Starbucks. I haven't had any of the other coffee drinks, but I love it. I can't really call Panera a breakfast place, it's really more for lunch or a lite dinner. If you're into bakery items, there is a generous selection, as well. read more

It's kind of weird to me when people in Los Angeles complain about the prices of the food. You genuinely could have looked at the menu prices prior to ordering and prior to writing snarky reviews. I had a gift card and I stopped in to redeem it, and I was greeted by the best customer service I've had in a while. Sergio is a top tier manager. He greeted each staff member while I dined by name and asked them how they were. The workers all had a smile on their face and he even knew a few of the guests name. From someone in hospitality to another, I know how draining this work can be and he is 10/10 a top tier employee. The ambiance is normal to any other Panera I've been to. It was not dirty at all, compared to what these reviews are saying. I got the Mexican corn soup, should have went with my broccoli and cheddar, but it's still tasty! It also came out piping hot. I highly recommend their 10 Vegetable Soup as a great vegan option--a lot of their bread and salads are vegan too. I just looove soup. Like, seriously, how much soup have I reviewed? Yikes. Placed an order for 2 bagel packs last night. Received a confirmation this morning the order was ready so I headed over to pick up my order. It was not on the shelf and I had to ask for it. When I arrived to my morning meeting it was discovered that my packs had no cream cheese in either box. That is 4 cream cheese tubs that I paid for and did not receive. Unbelievable!!!!! They had one job! I called Panera and the gentleman I spoke to had no clue how to place the call on hold and I could hear his conversation with another employee. Very unprofessional! The general manager picked up and she is probably the worst GM I have ever spoken too. No apology or accountability for her team's mistake. She then told me I had to give her my credit card info over the phone to give me a refund. Umm no! LA has too much credit card fraud and because your team can't follow simple instructions, how do I know my credit card info will be disposed of properly or worst stolen by staff. I will now have to spend extra time traveling back to this location to get a refund. I will also be filing a complaint with the BBB. It's absurd I can't get a refund online when I paid for my order on line. When you have a GM that has no clue how to do service recovery, it speaks volumes to the leadership at this Panera. I strongly suggest you stay far away from this Panera. They don't deserve to be in business. read more

If you need the restroom then go wait for them to finish helping the other guy. Only one person at the register but I saw others People. Just not any the counter. People Seem happy to be here. Several on computers etc. Parking in the rear. There is parking for several business' you could get lucky and close. Not my preference in restaurant. Though they have forgotten an item all 3 times that I ordered delivery through their website, this time they really went above and beyond to correct this. The guy I spoke to made sure to send me the missing item through delivery again, and it arrived at my door in less than 20 minutes. When I opened the bag, not only were there two of those items, but also an assortment of pastries. They added all those as a kind gesture, and it was a pleasant surprise! NOT CUT PROPERLY, NOT BAGGED PROPERLY (there wasn't even a separate baggy or wrap in the bag for me to think it possibly unraveled), SO disgusting. She didn't apologize, she cut me off while I was speaking & she offered zero compensation (or even to REPLACE my baguette that I'm out of & paid for) and simply said "I'll speak to them to know how to wrap things properly." I've been going to this Panera for a few years now, not that often, but I always thought of it as a decent place. Today, though, today was almost bizarre. They were understaffed, but the staff was apologetic and doing the best they could. But there were bugs, what looked like fruit flies, flying around the pastries, there was trash on one of the outside tables, and worst of all, the silverware. I ordered soup, and was given a spoon that was dirty. Not "a few water spots" type dirt, but "someone took this out of their mouth, put it on the counter, and now it's on my plate" disgusting dirty. I don't know what I was thinking by a) staying and b) eating the soup - who knows how dirty the bowl may have been? It was such a turn off I don't think I can go back. And, blech. read more

Sometimes I have to remember why I stopped visiting a place. Panera today is a prime example of such. There was only one person in line so I figured this was a good sign. Placing the order was no issue, nothing memorable either. Went to use the restroom while waiting which is for customers only. Said the 4-digit code was on the receipt. I typed in what appeared to be all the 4-digits on my receipt and none of them worked. Oh, and the women's room was out of service. Went back to retrieve my order and then to see if I could get in again. A man was coming out and he looked at me as I was going into the men's room. Pointed to the sign to the women's. He got it. Thank God it was a stall in addition to a urinal since someone else came in. I prayed he wasn't using the urinal since I wasn't sticking around (this bathroom was not really that clean btw). I came out, washed my hands and got the hell out of there. On the way home, my side item was missing. FML. I will admit I am partially at fault for not checking my order before I left. Others will say I should not have to. Between this and the bathroom, this visit was an EPIC FAIL. read more

So disappointing... We have been coming to this location for many years, but in my son's word ' they're off their game'. We recently went in for lunch, and they were repairing something near the back door. There was a filthy liquid on the floor, and the entire restaurant smelled like sewage.
