Time for an update! Since my last visit which was back in March 28, 2025, I have been there a few more times, but didn't do a review. I walked in today around noon knowing that they close early. I wish they were open at least until 3 or 4pm like other bagel shops are. Got a somewhat friendly hello from Benito and he took my order. Let me not forget to mention that they have their favorite/regular customers and I don't know whether or not I fit in that category. The service here can be hit or miss. Place was somewhat clean, I had to clean my own table and there were some tables inside and outside that needed to be cleaned. Nice music was playing overhead and the atmosphere can be a little more soothing and warm. Food came out very quickly. Ordered their Onion Bagel Plain Shmear add Egg, $3.99 American Cheese, $1.29, Everything Bagel $4.69 Plain Shmear, add egg $3.99 add small slice of tomato for 0.99. Also, got their small 100% Orange Juice & their yummy, creamy spread.. Honey Almond. For all this the price came out to be $31.73 including tax and tip not included. EXPENSIVE!! You can get a dozen eggs from your local grocery store for just the add-on eggs on my bagels. My food was nicely toasted and everything was right with my order. It tasted DELICIOUS, FRESH, and the portions could have been just a little bigger. I will still go back to this place & instead of getting 2 add-on eggs on each bagel, I will only get one. They also do catering, pickup/to-go orders, and third party apps as well. There are many bottled beverage options as well, such as juice, water, etc... Parking lot is always full, shared with a lot of other businesses and has one gender neutral restroom. read more

Always a lot of options for bagel sandwiches on their menu but parking just sucks here because it's in the same parking lot as Trader Joe's on Ventura Blvd. So it gets super busy here. They have about three tables inside and two tables outside. Unfortunately even though they were not busy they moved very slowly to get our order completed. They were also pretty skimpy on the cream cheese in my nova lox bagel. read more

Can never go wrong with Einstein bros bagels. Loved it in oc, love it in la My personal favorite is the bakers dozen with 2 shmears. Love the chive and onion shmear, strawberry shmear is exciting for sweet tooth. You can also try jalapeño shmear if you want a little spice in your life. Such a great place to get bagels here on west coast, won't break your wallet. Very affordable read more

We got here later in the day and it was not only packed but understaffed. The sister at the counter was on triple duty overdrive and had to not only manage the counter but manage watch over and support the other person in fulfilling the orders who was making mistakes left and right! The food was ok but wow that was really sad to see one person doing near literally everything! read more

Very busy parking lot but that's nothing new in Studio City. I went in to get a bagel. Waited about 5 mins before someone took my order. The owner or manager was on the phone but I could see three employees in the back talking. I ordered an onion bagel with cream cheese. A guy came in after me and ordered. When the lady called a bagel he took it. I realized about one minute after he left the shop that he took my onion bagel. They remade mine. I left to eat it at home. The bagel was fine but there was barely any cream cheese. Like half of a spread. When did bagel shops start to put barely any cream cheese on a bagel even though they're so much more expensive now. Paid almost $5 for basically bread. Won't be back unfortunately. read more

My wife likes Einstein bagels a lot, especially the Ancient grains. I think they are okay and we bought a dozen to take home, and it was nice that we got a 10% senior discount. The lady who helped us, who's name I don't know, was very helpful and $20 for 13 is certainly a good price these days. We've had either bagels, cream cheese and lox or a bagel sandwich either for lunch or dinner over the past week and still enjoy them, especially my wife but me too. read more

First time at this location and it was just about a perfect experience. My order was made to my specs and arrived in a timely manner. The ingredients tasted fresh as well as the coffee. Parking was easy at 6am at this locale. They did open up a few minutes late but it wasnt a huge delay - I'll be back . read more

Egg, meat and cheese bagel sandwich lacks flavor. Staff lacks warmth. No egg bagels. There are better breakfast choices in Studio City.

So far, I think this location is great ^_^. The bagels I have tried are quite good, especially the new country gravy one. It's my fave spot to have a quick breakfast or lunch before I hit the gym. read more

Their employees need better training. If i order a bagel you dont have, then say I'm sorry we are sold out of everything bagels can I get you something else...not we don't have any everything bagels...and wtf are you out of anything at 9:30 am...think imma take my biz to Western Bagel. read more

Don't bother coming here. It says they open at 6am but every time I have come at 6am they don't unlock the door until at least 6:20. The employees will see you standing outside & roll their eyes as if it's annoying you showed up during their operating hours. Attempting to come here in the morning will make you late for work. read more

I am updating my previous review ( which had been quite good), but yesterday, I had a particularly annoying and frustrating experience: once I ordered my meals and was trying to pay, I had my app open and asked to scan, but the order-taker very rudely told me that I should have told her I have the app BEFORE she rang up the order! WTF!? She certainly could have asked me if I have the app or ask for my phone number, but instead, she very rudely made this my fault and my loss, without even any sort of apology! I was really annoyed - not because I lost out on my points - but because SHE took NO RESPONSIBILITY. So, Miss Benito, I await your apology and ask you to own your mistake. read more

Ordered the Tasty Turkey bagel and were out of the Asiago bread so had to get the spinach instead. Also ordered a hash brown on the side that looked like a biscuit. The food was pretty mediocre but what made me take another star away was the service. The girl behind the counter was not pleasant at all. Love the fact that have doggie bagels so would return for that reason alone. read more

Finally got to try this place yesterday! I've been constantly seeing ads and driving by them but we finally made the drive out to try it! Parking lot is awful. Super squishy and it was packed when we went around noon ish. I found an open spot right in front that I was able to squeeze into and I did a perfect job backing in but the car to my right literally did an awful job and made it impossible for my passenger to get in and out. We walked in and it was busy! They also only had 1 person running the registers so she was running back and forth between them. We ordered a Chorizo Sunrise Egg Sandwich with subbed everything bagel, a bacon, egg, avocado, tomato & cheese sandwich with subbed everything bagel as well (for my mom) since it's one of our favorites. We looked at their everything bagel and it looked LOADED but was super disappointed. I don't usually get a bagel sandwich but the chorizo one sounded bomb and it was! My only complaint was that the everything bagel is not like your typical one. It's basically loaded with poppy seeds and sesame seeds ONLY. No salt flakes or garlic which was such a disappointment. My mom enjoyed hers and my bf got the farmhouse and regular French toast bagel with plain cream cheese, very very good! I got a small iced mocha latte which wasn't great and I wasn't expecting much. It tasted kinda like chocolate milk and just watered down in general. Barely any coffee flavor. It was also odd standing around since the tables are close to where you order and check out and people were just kind of all over the place. They had a larger table in the back corner which felt a little trapped since it was behind another table but also next to the fridge for the cream cheese. Cluttered is what it felt like in here but they have seating outside which is honestly probably better and nicer. Weather was perfect! While waiting for our sandwiches, my bf hopped back in line to get a dozen bagels to last us the week. Delicious bagels that we had this morning, in LOVE with the garlic bagel and wish we got more of that one. We got a good variety of sweet and savory ones and some of their cream cheese (chive & onion and a honey almond one). Overall it's a good bagel shop but a little out of the way for us. We love Einstein Bros. Bagels. They are always fresh and super good. They are not soft and mushy like donuts but actually taste like a real NY bagel. The service is great and the place is always so clean. It can get a tad crowded, but the line moves super fast. We especially love their breakfast bagel sandwiches. Their Maplehouse Egg Sandwich s yummy with egg and pork sausage. They have an All-Nighter sandwich which has egg, bacon, cheese and aioli. What I love about this one is it comes on a cheesy hash brown bagel. It is so good. They have any bagel you might want. Their prices are fair. They even sell in bulk. Enjoy. read more

never eating here again. sorry Bros! my husband came back with 2 bagels for me that i ordered. one for now, one fore later. not eating either of them. asked for a cinnamon sugar bagel toasted with butter, i grab it. smells good but open it up.. completely burnt in the inside! WTF i was like okay, tried it nope! taste like burnt burnt. then i got the pretzel bagel for lunch (it says it comes with dipping sauce) the beer cheese was on the bagel. but either way, the bagel looks NOTHING like it does online.. it's actually funny but it's not cause im hungry. anyways it doesn't taste like a pretzel bagel either. and was not good. definitely needs to be served as a side to dip not actually on the bagel. Can't eat either of them. Western Bagel always wins for me. read more

I love this place. However the hours are too short. The bagels are fresh, very New York style for me, which I absolutely love. The service was fast and efficient. Cannot speak to a dine in experience as it's close to home so I pickup and go! read more

I had made an order at 10:40am and ordered it ahead of time for 11:30am because I know they get busy, when I get there I am told that they don't have the bun I ordered so I had to pick a different one and wait for it, so I did meanwhile I try to buy an orange juice while I wait and I'm in line for about 5 minutes because the cashier is talking to another customer for a long time while I waited next in line. I end up getting my order close to 12pm and I thought that's it but once I get home I look at the bagel the one they had to make because they didn't have the bun and it's burnt all around. read more

Good morning! My family and I have been going to this store since it was Manhattan Bagels. Last Sunday,my wife and I went to get a bagel, and they were a little busy. We waited, and the young woman who wears glasses told us to wait five more minutes. Then she told the bald, chubby guy, "pinche vieja que se espere,!and laughed with him. I grew up in a Hispanic family and speak fluent Spanish. As a customer, I deserve respect, not this lack of respect. Later, I realized that the woman who expressed about to my wife like that is the manager. There's no way to talk to her if she speaks to customers like that, so I preferred to file my complaint here. I also want to mention that the other employees are very friendly and respectful, and she, as the manager, should set a good example. Honestly, I don't think we'll be returning to your store because these new employees are very rude and disrespectful I hope you take our complaint into account. Brian P. read more

Been coming here since it was Manhattan Bagel. I've never had any experiences with bad customer service but they do get very busy and it can get a little hectic in there, but no worse than western bagel down the street lol. Their food is consistently good and they actually have good coffee! I highly recommend the brisket bagel breakfast sandwich! read more

I called a day ahead and ordered 3 dozen bagels (sliced) and flavors selected. He asked me what time to have them ready by. I came 10 min after that time. Nothing was ready. What's the point of ordering in advance? Very dissatisfied and disappointed. I had to wait while they sliced all of them and put them together. The other customers were rightly annoyed as well read more

Their breakfast burrito is bomb. Easy to order on the app and pick up Bagels are great too, but wish you can select which ones you want when you do the bundles, cinnamon raisin and blueberry aren't very popular choices at my work haha read more

I love this place. The best bagels of course are in New York but, it's the water and we can't do much about the minerals in our water. This place is the best in town (in my opinion) . The service is fast and the employees will point out when it is less expensive to get 6 bagels rather than 4. I love that the employees explain why their bagels taste better, the entire process was explained to me. They sell out almost every day so, get your favorite bagel early to avoid disappointment. I can't say much about the ambiance except that I am always greeted with a smile. If you don't get a smile, come back and get 2. read more

|[ e i n s t e i n a p p r o v e s ]| I think this place is a bit underrated because it's been reliable for my early morning cravings and hunger for bagel/something savory and on a time crunch. Honestly, we come due to convenience of being right by our fav coffee spot but I think the farmhouse bagel is a solid 4/5 it's hot fresh and yummy. Small space but good for quick grab and go. Parking lot plenty spacious and easy in the morning. Have yet to try more items but so far I like it! read more

Worst bagel/customer service experience ever. They're supposed to be open at 6am but stayed closed bc they had a large order. Mind you, it was already 7am. So, I waited 15 minutes for them to finally open and when I placed my order, Benito was extremely rude and dismissive. I allowed him to pick an assortment of popular bagels and he selected the worst assortment ever. He also had the nerve to rush me when I waited over 15 minutes just for him to finally open the door. Never coming here again. Don't waste your time or business with this place. I would give 0 stars if it were an option. read more

I want to thank the manager and employees for taking care of a situation that could have gone really badly. I preordered trays for the gathering after my mom's funeral. It was to be delivered by Doordash. It was picked up but never delivered. Between Doordash and Einstein it was worked out that they would remake the trays and my daughter picked them up. They worked so fast and were also very generous with us. Again, thank you for making a very unhappy day a little easier. It won't be forgotten. read more

I like a good NY bagel. This is as close to one you're going to find in Studio City. Yes, it's a franchise. Yes, they're other places. But I'm happy there's one in my area. Service can go slow and confusing. I've been coming here for years, but I keep coming back for the classic bagels and the owners of this franchise are kind. They can get confused and sometimes short with people but think about if you were in NYC. Service would be a lot more gruff. read more

Normally I don't leave reviews for chain places, but I was so over and beyond thrilled with the customer service and the quality of the food, and I am a tiny bit enraged that they don't have a higher star meter. The staff was so helpful and it gave our family such a fun time when we were going on a hike for my birthday. We get the bagel and lox, the blueberry bagel with strawberry cream cheese, and a muffin for my daughter. They have homemade orange juice and good coffee. They also have a bathroom that is nice and private if you need to stop, and it is clean. Everyone there is friendly and it was a really fun place to go, I want to go there more often now. read more

Our company brought in a spread from Einstein Bros., and it was a solid hit. The bagels were fresh, soft inside with a nice chew, and they had a good variety--everything, asiago, cinnamon raisin, you name it. The shmear options were great too (the honey almond was a favorite). Not life-changing, but definitely a tasty, reliable choice for a work breakfast. I'd happily grab one again. read more

Went in this morning to get a dozen bagels and try theirs. Guy behind counter barely spoke any English and was mostly unintelligible. Asked about bagels, they didn't have any ready, wasn't sure what he said, he didn't really seem to care so I left and back I am to Western Bagels. read more

I was a little skeptical to come here after reading some of the reviews, but I must say I was pleasantly surprised. I was looking for a place that had bagel and lox to take to a client house and this place did not disappoint. Their service was fast, friendly, and very thorough. The gentleman at the register made suggestions and was very pleasant. I believe you can pre-order as well, which is a plus if you're on the run. I drop by around 9 AM and it was not very full. I would definitely be back to this small friendly spot. Thank you. read more

I've been coming to this location for years, and the same husband and wife couple has been running it all this time. The bagels are consistently good, and the quality of their lox is a thumbs up from me. Their everything bagels have all the goods on top, no shortage of seasonings! They also have a big menu of bagel sandwiches. The sausage breakfast sandwich is that greasy savory breakfast perfect for a hangover. Service is great, bagels come up quick and their coffee is pretty straightforward- nothing fancy. I often like just a simple hazelnut coffee and Manhattan delivers. This is a great spot to pick up bagels for your coworkers of a family brunch. Lots of parking in the lot. There is usually a line in the morning, so expect to wait a few minutes. read more
