Does this look like a bowl to you? Let's do a bowl poll.
    Renaud F.

I ordered a "bow"l of soup here and see the picture - I complained and they said this is a bowl. Does this look like a bowl to you?

Generally I'm a Panera fan but had a very poor experience at this one today. The physical space is nice and pretty clean, and that was definitely the best part. There are kiosks at the front where you can order or you can go up to the counter. Plenty of seating and tables were clean. The service, however, left much to be desired. We interacted with two people at the cash registers, both of whom were rude and unhelpful. Their answers to our questions about new menu items were terse and it was clear they were uninterested in helping us or providing a positive customer service experience. The food was fine - exactly what you expect from any Panera. Next time I'm in this area, I'll skip this Panera and try something else.

Worst Panera I've been to which stinks cause I live down the road. Always is dirty the garbages are always full and the food is horrible. The soaps taste old the salads come with no lettuce. And if they don't have an ingredient they don't even substitute anything they just don't put it in.

This is not an Asian Sesame Chicken salad...
    Mikyung H.

Placed an order for Asian sesame chicken salad to go via touch screen. Got something of a mix version of two different salads: Thai chicken salad and asian sesame, packaged with the asian sesame dressing. This combination tasted kinda gross, couldn't finish it.

We always love Panera for the good food! Wondering where the electrical outlets are for charging cellphones or laptops? Also, the music loudly playing makes it impossible to make a business call.

    My favorite cookie here.

I'm a big fan ever since they opened and I'm usually not a fan of chains. Most folks know the variety and freshness couple that with convenient locations and WiFi and a traveling businessman like myself is in heaven. Came in today to specifically try the turkey chili I saw advertised on TV. It was very tasty with quite a tangy flavor. I judge chili and other such foods on how it affects my sinuses and yep I had to grab a napkin!

Bad cleaning in bathrooms. Floors are sticky and need updating. Food price mainly is on the high side.

This is a great Panera. The space is somewhat lacking compared to other locations; however, the food and service are both up to par.

The crab cakes melt in your mouth, the complimentary bread is fresh and warm. The menu is eclectic, offering everything from fresh seafood and creative appetizers to steaks, pasta dishes, salads, and seasonal specials, so there's something for just about everyone. In the summer, the outdoor garden is especially charming. With its tables tucked among the greenery and an outdoor bar, it feels romantic, relaxed, and a little bit like you've escaped the suburbs for the evening and found yourself in the heart of a tiny European street at a village restaurant. The dining room is surprisingly spacious for a Piermont restaurant, yet still remains intimate. Between the sidewalk seating that brings a bit of a Parisian café atmosphere to the village and the beautiful garden out back, there are plenty of great spots to enjoy a main fish or a few appetizers .... or both. And while drinks can vary depending on who's behind the bar, my favorite bartender there makes a truly excellent cocktail (no names). Overall, a great place for sitting at the bar and mingling with whoever is sitting next to you, or dinner with your special person.

Abdul, our bartender, remembered my name, which made us feel genuinely welcomed and valued. It's those personal touches that create a memorable dining experience. During our meal, we accidentally ordered the wrong paella. We knew it was our mistake and never intended to ask for a replacement. However, the owner overheard our conversation and immediately stepped in to make it right without hesitation. That level of hospitality and customer care is rare and speaks volumes about how they treat their guests. The attention to detail extends to the bar as well. Their Old Fashioned is made the way it should be--with a large ice block that keeps the drink cold without watering it down. As John Taffer often says, "If an Old Fashioned doesn't have a large ice block, they're not paying attention to detail." Basque clearly does. If you're looking for outstanding food, exceptional service, and a restaurant that truly cares about its customers, I highly recommend Basque. Give it a try--you won't be disappointed.

This restaurant is known for authentic Spanish small plates, generous paellas, imported Spanish ingredients, decadent desserts, and wonderful warm bread to start your culinary meal with. Abdul and Roberto make a perfect drink, whether it's a simple Espresso Martini or their house-made sangrias. . All this in a warm and friendly setting. The seafood paellas are portion perfect ie; large, the tapas favorites include garlic shrimp, octopus, croquetas, Iberico ham, lamb chops, and seasonal specials. Because the dining room is relatively small, expect a noisy environment. Weekend waits can be long because of this restaurant's popularity, but it is so worth the wait. If one arrives early, there will be no problem with sitting at the bar or nabbing a table. The staff is friendly, the clientele is neighborly, and you're guaranteed to enjoy your restaurant experience here. For Piermont, it's one of the strongest dining experiences available, particularly if one enjoys sharing plates. If you're going for the first time, I'd order the garlic shrimp, a few tapas to share, and one of the paellas for the table. Thank you Benny for bringing Piermont to our neighborhood. *For those across the river in Westchester, enjoy Basque in Tarrytown.

Old-school Piermont, beautiful Hudson River view, and a little taste of Cape Cod…read more We stopped in on a beautiful summer evening, partly because I was on a mission for one of those frozen piña coladas or margaritas - and it absolutely hit the spot. Sitting right on the marina, with the water and boats in view, gave me just enough of a "beach" feeling to pretend I was back on the Cape. It brought back some wonderful beach memories. The food was decent - we had crab cakes and a lobster roll - and the prices felt fair for Piermont, although, as you'd expect with the waterfront location, they're a little higher than what you'd pay in neighboring towns. This is definitely old-school dining: no fancy food trends or reinvented dishes, just the standard seafood-and-American fare you'd expect. And honestly, sometimes that's exactly what you want. Service was attentive, although a little slow when their system went down and they had to go back to old-school math to figure out the bills. The view is the real star. One thing I wish people would stop doing, though, is feeding the ducks bread. It may seem harmless, but bread fills birds up without giving them the nutrition they need and can actually make them unhealthy. Enjoy watching them, just let them find their own dinner. Another big plus: easy parking! Unlike much of Piermont, there's a huge lot, so you don't have to circle the village looking for a spot. And Marel, the owner, is a doll. The place has been family-owned for decades, which makes supporting it feel even better. So no, this isn't a destination for fancy dining. It's old-school, casual, waterfront Piermont, and on a warm summer night with a frozen drink in your hand and the Hudson in front of you, that has its own kind of charm.

I'll keep my memories of my meals in Tokyo and Kyoto separate since as one can imagine, there is no comparison. Our waitress was a real highlight: humorous, polite, attentive, and genuinely respectful. Good service goes a long way. Definitely worth knowing about if you're in Piermont and looking for a reasonably priced Japanese meal close to home.
