Margherita pizza and endive salad.

I live in the neighborhood and this is one of the best spots in the area - not just in Piermont. Great for date night, solo dinner at the bar, or catching up with friends. Cozy yet lovely and with casual elegance about it. High quality ingredients and flavorful dishes as well. Pizzas are excellent as are the pastas and salads.

This is the best food ever, upscale Sicilian food with still the home feel It is grandmas house with a cute cafe vibe The food is absolutely delicious The red sauce is perfect The Seafood is plump, fresh and perfect parings. The eggplant zucchini parm is to die for If you grew up with this kind of food you will be in heaven, if you love Italian food you will be happy The bread when seated with the garlic popcorn is to die for The pizza is wonderful with amazing choices Great wine selection also It's comfortable enough for a date or a quick dinner casual

This is an exceptional trattoria with caring and kind wait staff. What a menu! Simple food that beams with passion for their craft. I was totally blown away by their caramelized garlic, served with their excellent pizza Bianca bread. I couldn't wait to get more. Glistening and crisp. My companion ordered the tuna Niçoise salad made with real European tuna, not cheap white Americanized fish flesh. It was redolent of exceptional in every bite. I dined on a margarita pizza. Charred just right and served sizzling hot from their wood fired pizza oven. Delicious. Worth the drive up from mendham Nj We didn't have dessert but shared a lovely bottle of Italian sparkling water that wasn't Pellegrino (appreciate trying new liquids!!) A wonderful experience and worthy of your time.

Tried to give it one more shot and it still falls flat on its face. Charges way too much for bland food

Based on recommendations that Trattoria Da Vittorio was an authentic Italian restaurant, and because I love the cuteness of Piermont, I decided to have my birthday party with a dozen friends at the restaurant. It absolutely did not hurt that they were having a fall weekend special with reduced prices and drinks for early seating. The place was an absolute hit with my friends who praised the experience and the food. Everything was yummy, we all shared bits of what we ordered. The zuppa di pesce was a special standout and the gelato was insanely good. I literally have not had gelato with such vivid flavor since I was in Italy. If you are in Piermont you should give this cozy little place a try.

If you're looking for authentic Italian dining, this is the place -- there's nothing like it in the area. Every detail, from the ingredients to the presentation, shows true craftsmanship. The menu is extensive, but they also offer wonderful off-menu specials. I tried a variety of dishes -- the mussels and fish were incredibly fresh, the pizza and bread were perfectly made, and the dry-aged Tomahawk steak was absolutely out of this world -- melt-in-your-mouth perfection. Even when you're full, the flavors are so good you find room for more. The desserts deserve their own spotlight -- I tried them all, and every one was outstanding. Truly some of the best I've had anywhere. The atmosphere is warm and versatile: it's perfect for a romantic date, but just as ideal for bringing family or friends for a celebration. You don't have to dress upscale, but dressing nicely adds to the experience and makes the night feel special. Service is excellent -- the entire staff is attentive, kind, and admirable in how much pride they take in the restaurant. On weekends, they even have a special $5 drink offer, which is an unbelievable value for a place of this quality. Bring your friends, bring your family, share a few drinks, and eat like royalty. Between the authenticity, the atmosphere, and the unforgettable food, you simply can't beat this place.

Great restaurant! Feels like a small hometown restaurant run by family. The food is excellent and very consistent from one visit to the next. The aesthetic is warm and cozy, well-executed. Prepare to spend some money. Definitely a reservation recommended for three or more people. Service is easy and warm, but dont let yourself be in a rush; be patient and you'll find this is a new favorite place.

Friendly wait staff. Fresh food. They have hazelnut gelato - a rare find. Noise level is a little high. It was hard to hear my friend talk.

No guessing, no worrying like you may have from a restaurant you've never been to. I've been coming here for a few years and every experience was above expectation. I feel like family when I step in the door. Joe is always extremely accommodating making sure my reservation is held even if I got stuck in traffic coming from Brooklyn. Memo and Omid also make sure all aspects of your service is perfect. Some of the best quality food you will eat. Some of the best service you will ever have. Very fair prices, no rush, no problems, great wine, beer, drink menus, great food selections and deserts. This restaurant is set in the heart of Piermont which is a quaint little town with interesting shops. It's set by the Hudson River and very close to the Tappan Zee Bridge. For starter we had the beet salad, coconut shrimp, and the crab cake. Of course they were all delicious. They served fresh baked bread hot out of the oven. For mains we had the Halibut Provençal served with Basmati rice and snow peas. We also had the Pan Sear King Salmon served soba Japanese noodles and asparagus. For desert we had the Bailey's Cheesecake, and the Motrin Dark Chocolate Cake. I cannot stress how great everything always is. It is with the drive to come here. I highly recommend them.

Really enjoyed the food here on Mother's Day…read more Made a reservation for an early dinner online, for outside seating. Didn't think to check if they were honoring that given the holiday, since it turned out to be first come first serve no reservations. Inside reservations were being taken, there was a bit of a wait but it was well worth it. Our party of 3 ordered the octopus and an arugula salad as an appetizer. The octopus was divine - would come back for this specifically. We split entrées and ordered the short ribs, orrecchiette, and Chilean sea bass. Pretty big portions and the flavor to match! A huge kudos to the hostess up front, who navigated a pretty grumpy crowd with such grace. Understandably, it was a very busy day, and the restaurant was packed. We probably could've used a bit more attention from the waiter after we were seated, as we would've liked another cocktail, but overall a great experience. Looking forward to coming back.

This restaurant has so much potential... great location by the Hudson, the menu sounds delicious,…read moreand a party room available if needed. Unfortunately, we were left feeling pretty underwhelmed. First off, the food took quite long to come out. Nobody came to the guests of honor to let them know what was going on. It wasn't until the guests of honor said something to the staff that everything "sped up". It was all very reactive instead of proactive. Secondly, the food was left a bit to be desired. The chicken parmigiana was unfortunately pretty dry for something that had sauce, while the salmon (although moist) lacked a bit of flavor and could have used a sauce. Make it make sense please?! Some of the items seemed like they were not made from the scratch, i.e. the pizza and the crispy mashed potatoes. The best dish of the night was the penne vodka. I honestly wish they brought more of that out, but for some reason the portions for that dish were quite small. It seemed like they just ran out of that dish, and just put any small amount on the plates. Towards the end of the night, it just seemed like the staff stopped caring about the guests, and were just phoning it in. They barely came to check on us. Even any chain restaurant would do something as easy as that. At some point, even the drink orders came out wrong. Sprite instead of water for all of the guests, coffee for people who didn't order coffee, alcoholic drinks that were given to the wrong guests. And literally nobody was there to help the guests of honor cut and serve the cake. The guests of honor had to use a butter knife to cut the cake because nobody came to provide a proper knife or even offer to take the cake and cut it. With the slow service and the amount of time the food took to come out, I think it would have been more understandable if the food was amazing and/or presented well, but it was honestly as pretty basic as you can get. All in all, I feel pretty bad for the guests of honor that they had to experience such a thing: Basic food, inattentive service, and lackluster management.

It's not very good at Vino Amore. In fact it may well be the most difficult meal that I've endured…read morein quite some time. From the moment we sat down. I should have known to eat elsewhere, anywhere but this place. Maybe it was the lack of customers, or the completely clueless waiter who seemed to wish that he was on a beach catching some zzzzs. Whatever the case, he was disinterested and had to ask twice about our order. But getting back to the restaurant. I order a Peroni but they were out of it. So I ordered another beer, out of that too. And another. Out. They said they had a wheat beer (blue moon like). It came out flat and lukewarm. About a half hour passed and finally lunch arrived. I had ordered a meatball sandwich. What came on the plate was hardly edible. One tiny meatball, sliced thinly and layered between cheese that tasted of the fridge and a smear of lukewarm sauce. It was completely inedible. I picked around the plate hoping the meatballs would magically become flavorful, but alas, the only flavor I detected was that of liquid oozing out of the bread. It was supposed to be garlic bread but it resembles creamed chipped beef on toast. My companion had a Caesar salad without extra cheese and with grilled chicken. The waiter had to come back to the table twice. First to tell us that the cheese would be on the side, (old and flavorless slices of domestic Parmesan is just lazy in an Italian restaurant. The Caesar was missing the croutons! We waited another ten minutes to get a little cup of boxed, old tasting croutons. The chicken tasted like rubber. Probably from a bag, pre-scored with grilled chicken marks. Lazy again. I brought the sandwich back into the restaurant to complain and point helpfully at the mess that they wanted to charge me twenty dollars for. Needless to say it didn't appear of the check. And the iced tea my companion ordered may have been tea in a former life, but not recently. It was really terrible. Cheap Dixie cup plastic disposable cups for water. Again. Just lazy. Use a real plastic cup please. Conclusion? We should have gone elsewhere. It was a really bad sign that the restaurant was completely empty at 1:30 in the afternoon. That everyplace in town was bustling. But this one looked abandoned. I don't wish them poorly. Just a career change is warranted here. Food and beverage is not their forte. Nor is customer service. Nor their beverage program. Definitely not their food. Nor the service. Nor the cheap plastic disposable cups.
