A very intimate dining space with lackluster food Was staying in the area and opted for a meal close by. Came to dual henrys out if convienience. The restaurant was open but barren. This specific location was hosting a wedding which was taking most of the attention away from this restaurant. We sat down in a barren dining room and got an almost equally barren menu. We both got mocktails, I got an espresso martini and she got an elderberry lemonade. She got a Cesar salad with skirt steak, and I got a burger with truffle fries. The mocktails were not great. The espresso martini was all bitter and no sweet. The lemonade was the same, though she doesn't like sweet drinks so it worked for her. We waited a good 45 minutes for food. The servers felt bad so they gave each of us a single sourdough roll, warmed up in the microwave with cold butter. A great thought, but also lacking. When food did come out, the salad was mostly stems with a quarter portion of gristled steak on the side. She immediately sent it back, asking for salmon instead. They sent a full salmon dinner in its place, which was much better and presented well. The burger, one of the worst I've had. Unseasoned, frozen, and overcooked with a stale bun and no condiments. The truffle fries were tiny chunks of potato, but seasoned liberally with truffle oil. So at least they got the fries right. The main reason they get the 2 is because the servers understood the mess of a meal we got and did everything in their power to make things right. We were even offered chocolate covered strawberries for dessert delivered to the room we were staying at (we still had to call them 30 minutes before closing to get them, which they delivered right away) this is burger shack food severed at high star hotel prices. I'm fairly confident that the kitchens attention was on the wedding and not us, and it showed in spades. The staff really did make the experience tolerable, but that shouldn't be the experience people should expect. read more

This was part of the Hilton hotel and I went to a breakfast buffet. There was a nice selection of French toast, scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, etc. The service was accommodating so no complaints there. I had an omelet that consisted of bacon, peppers, and cheddar cheese. It was good, plenty of filling, but the cheese was just not melted all the way through. I also had some breakfast potatoes, sausage links, bacon, and French toast. They were all what one would expect, but the sausage links were off. The ones I had were definitely not cooked all the way, which threw off the taste. Will I go back? Probably. read more

When get a Groupon and then find out place is inside a hotel you do not expect much. Hotel restaurants are usually average at best as they survive off captive nature of patrons. I was pleasantly surprised as got good service from the bartender in the tavern part and waiter once sat down in the restaurant. Decor is nothing to write home about as could dim lights a bit more and hide the buffet section. Food was good as lunes willing to cook pasta without the crème freche. Dessert likely pre-made but they picked a good one. Liked had local beers though they were a bit pricey at 10 per pint. My cocktail was well made. read more

We got room service because we didn't feel like going downstairs. The farro bowl had little vegetables and was nothing special. My husband got the chicken pot pie which he liked but I thought was not very flavorful. The pan cotta dessert was by far the best but expensive considering the portion size. The service was awful. We were seated next to the bar since there was a rehearsal dinner going on. After a few minutes bread and water was brought over. We ordered the skirt steak and burger. The waiter did not ask if we wanted a drink. I requested a soda. He told me he would bring it right over and then disappeared for about 30 minutes. Fifty minutes after we were seated, our food finally arrived, but still no soda. The waiter then told me that he would go get it. He came back with the soda and said that they were having computer problems. My wife enjoyed her burger. My steak was ok at best. The fries that came with it were coated in something that may have been fresh parmesan. Whatever it was, there was entirely too much of it making the fries inedible. We had our wedding rehearsal dinner at Two Henry's and it was fantastic. Food was wonderful (especially the short ribs!) and they even had our menus printed out and placed at each plate without us asking. I had two separate meals at Two Henry's while staying at the Hilton Pearl River. My first night I stopped in for dinner at around 8:00 PM while it wasn't too busy. I started off with the Traditional French Onion Soup which was fantastic. For my main dish I had the the Beef Over Mushroom Ravioli (Can't remember what it was really called). This dish was also very delicious! The atmosphere was nice and the staff was nicer. I would recommend trying this restaurant out. The breakfast buffet in the morning was also pretty good. My family and I discovered this restaurant a few years ago, and we keep returning, particularly for special occasions like birthdays, because this quiet, unassuming restaurant boasts some of the most spectacular cuisine we've ever eaten in the area. Not only does the menu change with the seasons, but also the chef sources from local partners such as DPNB Pasta in Nyack and Brotherhood Winery in the Hudson Valley. At our most recent visit, we ordered not one, but two pork belly appetizers (I hope they never take that off the menu!), as this is my 9-year-old's favorite dish. My husband and I also split the Brussels sprouts, which were hands down the best I've ever tasted. The crispy richness of the Brussels sprouts were enhanced by an unusual pairing of a swath of creamy Indian-spiced yogurt, pops of tang from the pomegranate seeds and hearty crunch from the toasted hazelnuts. This is the kind of gourmet pairing you would only find at a five-star restaurant. This is why we keep coming back. For the main course, we shared the handmade fresh pasta from previously mentioned DPNB, tossed with melt-in-your-mouth braised short ribs in a light gravy, topped with thick parmesan shavings and fresh peas. We ended our meal with the decadently delicious panna cotta and a slice of citrus cake with poached strawberries. We were looking for something close to Costco in Nanuet for dinner since we were too far away from where our original dinner reservations were for my birthday. I saw a Groupon for Two Henry's inthe Pearl River Hilton so we thought we would give it a try. I don't know where to begin. The food was absolutely amazing. Everything was so tasty and fresh. The service was outstanding. I started off my meal with a martini on the rocks, which was more like a double martini on the rocks. I ordered short ribs with roasted Farro, goat cheese, and kale. My husband had the roasted chicken. They were both cooked to perfection and so flavorful. The desserts were delicious as well. When our waiter heard that it was my birthday he bought me an after dinner drink. I can't wait to go to Rockland again because this will always be our go to restaurant. read more

Friendly family dining in a Corporate America setting? Quite refreshing! You'd think it cannot be but it's true here!! This was only our 2nd time here. Our 1st visit being several months earlier and we were instantly greeted by name as if we were long time friends. Two Henrys Restaurant in Hilton Pearl River We had such a wonderful dinner last night in the Two Henrys Restaurant at the Hilton Pearl River. I hosted my family from out of town who were staying at the hotel, so we decided to reserve a table for dinner for the 6 of us. Samantha, the manager was so warm and professional to deal with. She had a really nice private table set up for us in the restaurant, which is so pretty with candlelight and flowers. The servers were so nice and attentive. In addition to the great atmosphere and service, the food was beyond! The skirt steak, the short ribs, the golden beet salad were just a few of the items we were served. The whole dinner start to finish was outstanding. I honestly feel that it compares to a 5-Star NYC restaurant. And I have to say, we felt really good about how the tables were spaced and the servers were all masked. I could see that they take the safety of their customers very seriously. And to top off the night, we were able to sit on the couches right by the fireplace after dinner and enjoy a night cap. My wife and I have been here a few times. Not in the last few months. Apparently, they've changed staff. We had dinner here tonight and it was as bad of a dinner as I've ever had. The menu sucked, but I went with the skirt steak, which is a cheap piece of meat. My meal was $26. My meal was 6" long and 1/16" inch thick. I ordered medium and it was served well done- jerky. I asked the waitress to have the "chef" come out and he refused. This dinner was a gift. It was a terrible gift, I don't blame the giver, but this place sucks. Stay away! read more

The food here is nothing short of amazing. We went with a very large party of twelve but were able to get a reservation. This place is apparently unfairly overlooked as it is located inside the Pearl River Hilton. While we waited for the whole party to arrive the bartender was attentive and handled our orders with ease. Once seated the wait staff was very attentive and nobody ever had an empty drink. Appetizers were all shared and amazing. I had the Chilean Sea bass and it was great. It was over roasted chick peas, pea pods and potatoes. I don't really like chick peas and I ate all of them. My wife had a pasta with sausage and loved it. My friend's wife had the short ribs over mushroom ravioli and it was ridiculously good. A few had steaks and filets that were cooked to perfection. I can't say enough about this place. If you are looking for a dining experience in a low key, relaxed, yet elegant atmosphere do not hesitate to dine at Two Henrys.
