We had our wedding rehearsal dinner at Two Henry's and it was fantastic. Food was wonderful (especially the short ribs!) and they even had our menus printed out and placed at each plate without us asking. They provided a large projector screen for a slideshow that worked great. Abbey from catering was amazing to work with.

Traditional French Onion Soup

I had two separate meals at Two Henry's while staying at the Hilton Pearl River. My first night I stopped in for dinner at around 8:00 PM while it wasn't too busy. I started off with the Traditional French Onion Soup which was fantastic. For my main dish I had the the Beef Over Mushroom Ravioli (Can't remember what it was really called). This dish was also very delicious! The atmosphere was nice and the staff was nicer. I would recommend trying this restaurant out. The breakfast buffet in the morning was also pretty good. It has a wide array of options and is much higher quality than most hotel breakfasts.

Finally! A place in my own town that I can rate 5 stars…read more Cooper's is a small pub located in Pearl River. There's street parking around the neighborhood that becomes free after 6. I suggest you head towards the houses, away from town, if you can't find a spot. I've been anxious to try this place as the pictures look solid enough and reviewers thus far seem content. My wife and I entered with plans to have beer and apps. We ended up getting Guinness, onion rings, fried calamari and the Cooper's Burger. You can't beat a 22oz Guinness for $8. The prices on their website also match what you'll see inside. Lately I find so many restaurants are charging more than they advertise online. Service was great, friendly and very attentive. I was also surprised to see how well they clean tables between customers. Spray, wipe table, wipe lamp, shakers, etc. It's totally clean for the next customer. There are only 8 or so tables in here, plus bar seating. We enjoyed some comfy seats at a high top table for two. The onion rings were great - crisp and battered nicely so they hold together. While almost a little overcooked, they were still good and better than I had at the last high end steakhouse I went to. The fried calamari was fairly priced and a good portion. It had a light crispness, though bigger pieces would've been nicer. They were mostly small, but certainly a lot of it. The accompanying marinara was good and plentiful. We got the Cooper's Burger cooked medium and it came out medium. It's a simple burger that comes with lettuce and tomato. Some red onion wouldn't been nice. They charge extra for all sorts of stuff you can get on top - fried mushrooms, fried onions, eggs, etc. It also comes with fries, which were good. Overall, it was a nice cozy time. Several middle aged couples ate here that night and a couple small groups. No loud bar crowds as they're all on central avenue. In fact, I was surprised how nice the acoustics were inside. You can hear people at your table no problem, can hear the music inside at the right level and don't hear a lot of background chatter or noise. I'd most certainly return if in the mood for pub food. And ... No credit card fee!

This beautiful restaurant effortlessly blends…read moresophistication with comfort, elegant without feeling pretentious, and lively without being overwhelming. Matt and Marris make you feel like part of their family the moment you walk in, and it is ABSOLUTELY genuine! Their passion is clear. The menu is thoughtfully curated, highlighting both creativity and quality ingredients. Every time I eat there, I find myself smiling; the concerns of the day or week float away. The care and detail in everything presented to the diner are so thoughtful. The drinks deserve just as much praise and are beautifully crafted. If you're lucky enough to visit on a night when Izzy is behind the bar, consider yourself fortunate. He's not only a "DJ" of cocktails, but warm, friendly, and fun to be around. Honestly, sitting at the bar is just as good as, if not better than, a seat in the dining room. We travel from Manhattan just to come here, and Hudson House never disappoints. It's the kind of place you find yourself returning to again and again, and recommending to everyone you know.

We all know how much Ketile One is pour the extra ounce. And when you bring the wine caraf, fill it to 5he top. As the apps came, I noticed there was no bread, so I asked for some. Someone in our party, told me there was a 4 charge for bread. I was getting a pasta dish, so I wanted it anyway. Needless to say bread never came, but it was on the bill. They removed the charge. I guess I'm just getting cheap in my old age. For 375 can't I get a decent pour and a piece of bread

We had a pretty good happy hour here with a group of about 15 colleagues…read more Drinks were all good, food was good, the bar area got rather hot although and it wasn't even crowded. Not too comfortable. Service was generally fine. Our server took care of us in the bar area, but she also had to deal with tables in the dining room. She did a good job. There must be another bar somewhere else because it seemed like our drinks weren't prepared behind the bar. They'd take a while to prepare after ordering and then come trickling in from somewhere else. The pickle chips, shishito peppers, wings (dry rub and buffalo), chicharon, were all great. Everyone especially liked the bee sting flatbread. The Queen flatbread was rather basic and not too popular, but I think it's supposed to be plain. Something else disappointing for me was that they don't have happy hour specials or a happy hour menu. Everything had to come from the main menu. Not much incentive for a group hitting the local spots for a fun happy hour.

The empanadas would have been very good if cooked a bit longer since they were a bit gummy inside. The shrimp ceviche was served in red sauce and was absent of a decent amount of shrimp. It was tasty but more of a salsa rather than a ceviche. The rib special lacked the promise of the flavors of the chipotle bbq sauce that was promised and described in the menu -- the pork lacked flavor. The chicken Milanese appeared to have been deep fried in a fryer rather than pan fried per tradition. This made the thin slices a bit tough and chewy which was unexpected. Disappointing that I didn't listen to my server who tried to steer me in a different direction as he advised. We haven't been wowed here the last three visits but will give it another shot in a few weeks to see if things have changed for the better. Listen to your servers, people!!
