The warm bowl is consistently delectable. I always personalize mine with rice and tofu. The kale and greens exhibited exceptional freshness. The staff are exceptionally courteous, and the establishment offers a pleasant ambiance. The atmosphere remains tranquil, and the premises are impeccably clean. I highly recommend CHOPT and would enthusiastically endorse it. read more

PSA: I ordered delivery for lunch during a work day. The salad cost $25. I accepted that bc I added steak to the salad. I understand prices can be high. But when I received the salad I was shocked. This is not a $25 salad. It was supposed to have steak, corn, feta and black beans. This is a joke. So just leaving this review so others can be aware of what you will get. read more

Service is very inconsistent. You have to physically go in there to watch them make the salad to make sure you get all the ingredients. I ordered via the app and selected curbside, big mistake. There is no curbside parking spot and when my boyfriend went to pick it up, he sat in the car and no one came out even though I responded to the text message that he's there and I included AGAIN, the make, and model and license plate of the car. He ending up having to go in to get. Good thing cuz the order was wrong! Ingredients were missing and the salad was not worth the price plus the manager didn't seem to care at all and just passed it along. read more

I have ordered from Chopt several times however this is the first time I ordered from this location. This is supposed to a $25 loaded Cobb salad. I don't even have a hard boiled egg in my COBB salad.I just got overcharged for a bag of lettuce. Never again! This location should be shut down. I tried calling to speak to a manager and no one answered. read more

Welcoming staff. Very clean establishment. Outside seating available. It's a popular place and patrons are still able to maintain social distance. Ample seating. Chill music. All ingredients are fresh and are sourced from local farms. I ordered a Kebab Cobb with chicken and cranberries and ate the entire thing! So good. read more

this is great. only concern. The service varies from person to person. sometimes they don't give me extra chicken because apparently a normal dose of chicken is two scoops and when you order extra, you are expected to get three scoops, but sometimes this doesn't happen. It depends which person is working that day. Other than that, I think this place is really fast and healthy. no concerns on the food read more

The salads were "okay" but the service was horrendous! I wanted to give Sijana K the benefit of the doubt that this was either her first job, or the first day of her new job, but she was much more interested in gossiping with whatever other employee would listen to her about the 2 young guys that kept coming into the store and using the restroom. I had to tell her FOUR times to put bacon on 3 of the 4 salads I was ordering. FOUR TIMES!!! She laughed each time and said "oh yea". She didn't know how to make my salad, which was cleary stated on the board above the counter, and when another employee told her the ingredients, she kept asking her to repeat them. I asked her if the salads get chopped after all the ingredients are put in the bowl, because it didn't look like she was going to do that - she said "OH, you want it more chopped?" I then said, is it chopped already? And she replied "you can have it more chopped", but didn't move to do that. Another employeed came over to help her finish up - I had been there a long while already and had been the only customer in the store that entire time (no wonder!) - and she chopped the ingredients after putting the dressings in, so Sijana chopped the 1 out of 4 at the same time. When it came time to pay, she did not enter the bacon into the bill, so feeling badly at that time, I reminded her. Again, "oh yeah", not thank you. I don't know if she is still working there, but if so, she needs a serious training session on how to make these foods, plus how to be present with customers, stop gossiping, and how to speak with customers appropriately. As this store is over 30 minutes away, it's very unlikely that I will return. read more

Worst CHOPT in the area. They are severely under staffed. my salad was drenched in dressing. The lettuce is ALWAYS wilted and soggy. All they care about is getting out the door. I hope CHOPT management reads this a replaces the people here. The problem is the manager, she has a very bad customer skills. They need new management here. read more

So, we love Chopt however many times when you order online, the order isn't made correctly. Lately the wraps have been falling apart and by the time you take part of the wrapper off, the wrap is completely open. Santa Fe salad/wrap is very good. read more

Ordered a Custom salad on the app and despite paying an additional $2.99 for spicy chicken when I got home there was none. Dressing on the side can barely Cover half the salad even without the chicken. Brussel sprout add on was minuscule and had possibly 3 tiny pieces. Responded to their email they sent me and no one ever got back to me. Most likely my last time here. read more

My first time at CHOPT Montvale location last night and I was pleasantly surprised at the efficiency of the staff, quality of the produce and protein and size of the salads. First let me start by saying that I am a regular here and order salad here on a weekly basis so I am flat out DISGUSTED with the service I received tonight. Ordered a Mediterranean bowl and orchard salad. No chicken OR walnuts In the orchard salad. These salads aren't cheap. I called the restaurant to nicely let them know (accidents happen) and In the middle of speaking to one of the workers, lost connection. I called right back was on hold for over 10 minutes and then click, HUNG UP ON. Called back again hung up on yet AGAIN. Needless to say, I won't ever be coming back again. Chopt lost a regular. read more

Still stand by my one star. There hasn't been much improvement and I'm a glutton for punishment as I order from here once a week with anything even close to 75% of what I order. Either no bread, forgotten extra dressing request, etc. But tonight I ordered Orchard salad which it wasn't until half way through my salad I noticed there wasn't any chicken and thought chick peas in the salad was weird. So went to the site to make sure I wasn't crazy. Sure enough chick peas don't come in the salad and they must have put that in instead of "chicken" and also there weren't any walnuts. So I basically had goat cheese, apple and chick pea salad. My husband also ordered the crispy chicken ranch salad sans chicken. Glad I spent almost $30 on salads without any protein. Get it together Chop't! read more

great service and fresh salad. I like that they use local produce. My Greek salad and sour dough bread was delicious.

Sloppy with wraps. Food was mediocre. Sweet potatoes were not cooked all the way. Service was just ok. Expensive for what it is.

I used to go to the store in Scarsdale, NY until they didn't care about their presentation of salads nor customers. Today a family member had a craving for a CHOPPED salad. She was near the Montvale, NJ location, so we ordered some "digital exclusive'' salads to pick up. I ordered the Sesame Ginger Chicken Salad. Sounds good, right? Well when she got it home, too far to go back, not one piece of the large spinach leaves had been chopped, and several were limp and old. The rest of the items were just "okay", not very tasty, especially for the price. As a matter of fact, the only thing I really tasted was the sesame ginger dressing. I guess my former decision to stay away from Chopt was the correct one afterall. read more

So quality control. I didn't leave a review the first time but this time I will. I got a Mediterranean tahini bowl and the pita chips were left out. A big deal? No but it's supposed to come with it and I didn't get them. Frustrating Montvale NJ location read more

For today's meal I would give 4 stars but it's hit or miss every time I go to Chopt hence my 3-star review. One time not too long ago when I went, there were a ton of short hairs in my salad (which I received a refund for). Whenever my sister comes here and orders take out, they forget a major ingredient in her salad. Today I got the crispy chicken ranch salad and there was something brittle and hard in it, not sure if it was a bone in the chicken? There are always a lot of fatty pieces I have to spit out when I order this salad but I can deal with that, it was the very hard object that I bit down on that concerned me. I also put "regular" for the salad dressing option but it was drenched from the middle of the salad down. Also for the price they should be filling it up more. The picture I posted was after I first opened it and as you can see, it's not very full. My very first time at a Chopt location, it was filled to the brim. I'll still give it another chance though since I haven't found other places that have unique salad options. I really do like the warm bowl - the chicken tinga bowl. I think I have better luck when I buy the warm bowls over their salads. read more

The food is good but the service is horrible. There's no welcome in and all the people that work there act like you're inconveniencing them by ordering. They are rude and ignore you until you ask if someone can help you. read more

Going to Chopt, I was impressed by the amount of toppings you can choose from to create your own salad and the dressings. Also, the lettuce options are great too especially when trying to keep healthy. The warm bowl offerings are great too because they are filling and I usually enjoy them more than the salads. Delicious offerings here. It's more expensive than I would like it to be for most of the items, but it doesn't bother me nonetheless. Overall, a good chain offering quality options with lots of choices, just a little expensive for what you get. read more

Clean and the service is amazing. Salad is all what you make of it because they make it the way you want it..

Just got lunch to go from there on Sunday & thought it was great. Very nice employees, good service, & although a bit pricey it was a very large salad so a good value. I had a classic cobb salad minus blue cheese - all ingredients were very fresh & tasty. I am looking forward to going back. read more

Five counter workers filling online orders, ignoring me standing there. annoyed when I ask to be served, ignore me more, should've left but meeting friend, attitude when they have to help me, Cobb salad mainly lettuce. push it towards me with attitude. all this you can have for $17 ( if you add a seltzer). read more

Great place! I love there salads! Very comfortable inside and outside. Friendly service.

I will be honest I have only ordered here through Uber Eats, but both times I have ordered there have been issues. The first salad was missing the chicken and other items I paid extra for. I just ordered another salad figuring let me give them another try and I was delivered someone else's order. It was not the driver's fault, the bag was sealed and clearly had my name and order on the sticker on the outside of the bag. It seems like this place just does not have their stuff together or they just don't care. But I certainly will not be giving them a third try read more

Was craving a salad so obviously I searched up the nearest "salad place" and I found this chopt. Not only did I pay $28 for the salad because I ordered through uber eats... but it was terrible. I added on avocado assuming it would be chopped into my salad, or at least cut up, but all they did was put an unripe avocado on top of the salad. The amount of dressing was so ridiculous that all I could taste was vinegar. I selected the regular amount of dressing (I have eaten at a chopt before) but seems they put extra instead. I also said no bleu cheese and got feta instead but still had to pay the extra money? If I'm taking something off the salad that is already included in the base price, why am I charged to change it to something else? Lastly they didn't even include the bread in my order. I know it's a small thing, but I was really looking forward to it. read more

Excited to have a salad place open up close by! It makes for a super quick and convenient meal. I find the salad portion itself to be extremely large; my mom and I split one salad ordered with extra protein and find that it's more than enough. I do wish that they added a little more of the toppings in comparison to the amount of greens. Chopt isn't bad by any means, but at the same time, it's nothing spectacular. read more
