Service is very inconsistent. You have to physically go in there to watch them make the salad to make sure you get all the ingredients. I ordered via the app and selected curbside, big mistake. There is no curbside parking spot and when my boyfriend went to pick it up, he sat in the car and no one came out even though I responded to the text message that he's there and I included AGAIN, the make, and model and license plate of the car. He ending up having to go in to get. Good thing cuz the order was wrong! The salads were "okay" but the service was horrendous! I wanted to give Sijana K the benefit of the doubt that this was either her first job, or the first day of her new job, but she was much more interested in gossiping with whatever other employee would listen to her about the 2 young guys that kept coming into the store and using the restroom. I had to tell her FOUR times to put bacon on 3 of the 4 salads I was ordering. FOUR TIMES!!! She laughed each time and said "oh yea". She didn't know how to make my salad, which was cleary stated on the board above the counter, and when another employee told her the ingredients, she kept asking her to repeat them. I asked her if the salads get chopped after all the ingredients are put in the bowl, because it didn't look like she was going to do that - she said "OH, you want it more chopped?" I then said, is it chopped already? And she replied "you can have it more chopped", but didn't move to do that. Another employeed came over to help her finish up - I had been there a long while already and had been the only customer in the store that entire time (no wonder!) - and she chopped the ingredients after putting the dressings in, so Sijana chopped the 1 out of 4 at the same time. When it came time to pay, she did not enter the bacon into the bill, so feeling badly at that time, I reminded her. Again, "oh yeah", not thank you. I don't know if she is still working there, but if so, she needs a serious training session on how to make these foods, plus how to be present with customers, stop gossiping, and how to speak with customers appropriately. So went to the site to make sure I wasn't crazy. Sure enough chick peas don't come in the salad and they must have put that in instead of "chicken" and also there weren't any walnuts. She was near the Montvale, NJ location, so we ordered some "digital exclusive'' salads to pick up. I ordered the Sesame Ginger Chicken Salad. Sounds good, right? Well when she got it home, too far to go back, not one piece of the large spinach leaves had been chopped, and several were limp and old. The rest of the items were just "okay", not very tasty, especially for the price. As a matter of fact, the only thing I really tasted was the sesame ginger dressing. For today's meal I would give 4 stars but it's hit or miss every time I go to Chopt hence my 3-star review. One time not too long ago when I went, there were a ton of short hairs in my salad (which I received a refund for). Whenever my sister comes here and orders take out, they forget a major ingredient in her salad. Today I got the crispy chicken ranch salad and there was something brittle and hard in it, not sure if it was a bone in the chicken? There are always a lot of fatty pieces I have to spit out when I order this salad but I can deal with that, it was the very hard object that I bit down on that concerned me. I also put "regular" for the salad dressing option but it was drenched from the middle of the salad down. Also for the price they should be filling it up more. The picture I posted was after I first opened it and as you can see, it's not very full. My very first time at a Chopt location, it was filled to the brim. I'll still give it another chance though since I haven't found other places that have unique salad options. I really do like the warm bowl - the chicken tinga bowl. Going to Chopt, I was impressed by the amount of toppings you can choose from to create your own salad and the dressings. Also, the lettuce options are great too especially when trying to keep healthy. The warm bowl offerings are great too because they are filling and I usually enjoy them more than the salads. Delicious offerings here. It's more expensive than I would like it to be for most of the items, but it doesn't bother me nonetheless. Was craving a salad so obviously I searched up the nearest "salad place" and I found this chopt. Not only did I pay $28 for the salad because I ordered through uber eats... but it was terrible. I added on avocado assuming it would be chopped into my salad, or at least cut up, but all they did was put an unripe avocado on top of the salad. The amount of dressing was so ridiculous that all I could taste was vinegar. I selected the regular amount of dressing (I have eaten at a chopt before) but seems they put extra instead. I also said no bleu cheese and got feta instead but still had to pay the extra money? If I'm taking something off the salad that is already included in the base price, why am I charged to change it to something else? Lastly they didn't even include the bread in my order.
