Yeero Lunch Special

We love this small Greek restaurant in the heart of Pearl River. We've visited for both lunch and dinner on several occasions and they are consistently friendly and deliver excellent food. Nice atmosphere and the food is fresh and served hot.

*This review is for a takeout/uber eats order* I was super impressed. First things first, it was HOT. The food was actually hot when it arrived. We ordered for 6 people. 3 Yeero Pita sandwiches, a Yeero plate, salmon plate, Greek fries, spicy pita, hummus. The serving sizes were a great value. I found the vegetables to be oily but that didn't compromise the crunch of them. Everything tasted very fresh and clean. The salmon was cooked perfectly. Docked a star because the hummus was SUPER salty.

I'm late in sending this review -- we ate at Greektown in October, and all said we can't wait to go back! Three of us went -- on a Friday, even on the early side (5:30) the place was hopping and tables were already reserved. So we felt lucky we got in. Definitely make a reservation! We had two pita sandwiches -- one gyro and one chicken -- as well as a salad. I had the gyro; I have to say, I always love gyros, but hate how I feel after I eat them. This one was EXCELLENT -- not greasy at all; I don't know what they did with the onions, maybe they just had a good balance, but I didn't spend the next three days with gyro on repeat as I hiccuped, saying under my breath, "But it was worth it..." There was no agida. Just excellent food. The consumer of the chicken sandwich agreed, as did the salad eater. Also, a shout out to the absolutely lovely server. I had a feeling this is a pretty local place, as diners kind of looked at us when we came in like something out of "Invasion of the Body Snatchers." But our serve welcomed us with a big smile, chatted with us, made suggestions on the menu, and couldn't have been nicer. We'll be back!

It has been a while since we last had Greek food and it was when we were in Greece a couple of years ago. The food is definitely spot on - I really appreciate that it was not greasy which makes a big difference. The restaurant is cozy in the early evening. The is a lot for parking which is a bit tight. There is also street parking available as well.

Greek Town is a must visit restaurant if you're visiting the Pearl River area. They have parking spaces and are located next to Main Street full Of shops. The food was fabulous, authentic and super-delicious. The seafoods were fresh and portions are large. The staff were friendly and approachable. The ambiance is bright and comfortable. I love the Saganaki (super delicious)! Highly recommended!

I read about this place online recently and I've been wanting to try it. We went on a Friday night. I called around 6 o'clock and they said that they were really busy but they were able to see us at seven. When we got there, we waited a little for someone to check us in, but I'll forgive it because they are still very new. Our waiter Cole was outstanding very attentive and working really hard. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious. For appetizers we had the Greek chips and the Tzatziki sauce was outstanding. Also had the fried cheese that comes out on fire. They did a great job with the decor inside. It is very bright and modern. I really liked it and we will be back soon.

A bit of confusion when we arrived. Website says no reservations for parties under 6, we were 2. But they still expected us to have one. Same for the group of 3 who came in after us. They did get us a table but the other party left. Everyone was very friendly and the restaurant is very nice and welcoming. We got the Trio Appetizer with the Fresh Beets, Spicy Feta Dip, and Eggplant Salad. All three were delicious. My wife got the Yeero Platter and I had the Grilled Seafood. The Yeero was great, meat was on par with better Greek restaurants in the area. The meat was shaved not the less enjoyable slabs. The salad and fries were also delicious. The grilled seafood could have been better. The calamari and octopus tasted great but were a bit tougher than I like. My wife enjoyed the shrimp. I had the salmon the next day. It also tasted great but was a bit dry. We did not get dessert but the people next to us did and it looked great. In fact all the food around us looked great. Prices were reasonable and we'll definitely be back to try again. Hopefully they will get some of the startup kinks ironed out. Also hoping the BYOB lasts a while, but it is NY.

The ambiance was nice, it was clean and some delightful plants adorned the outdoor space. We ordered the Aegean Salad, the Calamari appetizer and the whole fish/branzino as a shared main. The restaurant includes olives and grilled pita and it's served warm. The combo of the salad and the pita was really nice, the salad ingredients were fresh and lovely. The Calamari was equally as fresh and the oils and seasoning were pretty much perfect and again eating it with the pita was a real treat. The grilled branzino was cooked perfectly and simply put one of the best pieces of fishes i've had. The fish came with a side of stewed veggies that were absolutely delicious and honestly the veggies alone are worth a return trip. i can easily see why the reviews are so positive for Aegean Estiatorio, it was truly an excellent meal, especially at a time where prices are so high and one is forced to question the value, this restaurant is really an exception. Lastly, the service was also spot on, we were well cared and treated with professionalism.

We called it last minute for table for 2 outdoor or inside they said unfortunately only outdoors because inside is totally booked and we were okay with that but we realize it was pretty empty when we got there by the time we left too it wasn't full inside either so that leaves us with disappointment and not fully honesty in my book and I don't appreciate that. Service was okay and ambiance around good as well. Portions are a little smaller for huge plates making it look empty. We didn't have dessert I wasn't up for it.

Fluffy pita bread, marinated cuts of rotisserie meats, and aromatic spices... there's all of that…read moreand more at Pita Greek, a fast casual Mediterranean restaurant in Nanuet. The owner started his business venture as a ghost kitchen in 2020, and then opened up this brick-and-mortar location earlier this year. There's a parking lot in the back. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with a Mediterranean-inspired ambiance - rustic pottery, white & blue color palettes, blonde woods, soft lighting. They have both indoor and outdoor dining. The seating areas are good for small to medium-sized groups. They have a simple menu with fresh ingredients and reasonable prices: pita sandwiches, salads, rice bowls, platters, pastries, etc. The rotisserie meats are the star of the show! We ordered... *Spanakopita $6 (layers of crispy, golden phyllo dough with a spinach, feta cheese, and herb filling) *Tiropita $6 (layers of buttered phyllo dough with a cheese and egg filling) The phyllo dough was flaky, crispy, and buttery. I preferred the tiropita out of the two. It was super cheesy, salty, and creamy. The spinach filling wasn't as good because it tasted oily. *Traditional Gyro Platter $20 *Chicken Souvlaki Platter $20 All platters are served with one grilled pita, tzatziki sauce, and your choice of two sides. The lamb/beef gyro was slow-cooked on a vertical rotisserie. It was super savory, tender, and seasoned in a blend of herbs and spices. The chicken souvlaki skewers were juicy and loaded with a zesty lemon garlic marinade. The pita bread was warm and fluffy. The tzatziki sauce was creamy and tangy. For our sides we chose: *Greek Salad (romaine, tomato, red onion, cucumber, Greek herbs, feta, dolma, olives, pepperoncini, red wine vinaigrette) *Marinated Beet Salad (red beets, red onion, herbs, balsamic glaze) *Lentil Soup *Lemon Chicken Orzo Soup All of the sides were delicious. The salads were very refreshing and made with high quality ingredients. Out of the two soups, my favorite was the lemon chicken orzo. It was like a good ol' comforting bowl of chicken noodle soup with a bright, citrusy aftertaste. The lentil soup broth was a little too watery and sour for me (I think they might've overdone it with the lemon and tomatoes). We had a lot of leftovers to take home. The prices are an excellent bang for your buck because they give you generous portions. The staff is very kind and attentive. We dined in and they brought our food to us in a timely manner. They were on point with clearing our plates, giving us extra utensils/napkins, and anything else we needed. I would happily return whenever I'm in the area!

Pita Greek offers bowls and salads (with added protein possible for $6-7), pita sandwiches, and big platters that come with two sides and pita bread. We really enjoyed the chicken gyro (tender), spanakopita (generously filled), and the falafel (surprisingly not dry but some people may prefer a crisper texture). For the sides, we enjoyed the chicken lemon soup and beets most. The lentil soup, scallion rice (similar to pilaf), broccoli (large pieces), and fries were ok too, in that order. The bowls and pita sandwiches are $12 base but we were a bit disappointed that the falafel addition to the bowl only came with three smallish pieces. The big platters are probably the way to go if you want shareables, as each separate item can be more than the $20 for the platter. They have a pita sandwich lunch special with a drink too. They also have kids meals and catering. Wish they had moussaka on the regular menu! They display desserts at the counter and they all looked very sweet. I wasn't expecting much in terms of atmosphere but it looked comfortable and clean in the dining area and there was outdoor seating. There's a shared parking lot in the back which is nice for Middletown Road. But otherwise, street parking is possible.

There are plenty of ways to build your meal exactly how you like it, which is both a strength and, at times, a challenge. The food was good, though the portions felt a little small considering the price point. One thing to keep in mind is that the line can grow quickly, especially during peak lunch hours. Because there are so many customization options, ordering can take a while when it's busy. If you're short on time, ordering ahead through the app is probably the way to go. That said, I enjoyed my meal and appreciated that it felt like a healthier alternative to many other fast-casual options. Fresh ingredients, lots of choices, and good flavors make it worth a visit.
