    Chicken bacon ranch personal pizza
    Novella N.

I don't travel over the bridge often but since a close friend of mine moved close to Montvale, she decided to take us to her favorite restaurant. Uncle Louie's is a nice spot serving a very vast menu. It definitely took a minute to figure out what to order! For a starter we ordered calamari and then our own individual entrees. I decided on a chicken bacon ranch personal pizza. It was very filling and I only ate half. I would find myself coming back in the future!

Good Italian restaurant across the Montvale Lanes Bowling. After going to bowling, you can stop there since they are right across from each other. I tried combo sandwich and chicken parm sandwich there. They are pretty good. I would definitely go back, if I am in the area during lunch time again. Service was great and friendly. The ambiance also was so welcoming.

A great pizza place for lunch today. They may sell slices but it look cool down and I decided to stay in for just a whole pie. This is exactly how I like from NY/NJ pizza. Good balance of the dough, sauce and cheese also important thing is thickness and done-ness. All good but just a slightly salty(sauce or cheese) so it's better with beer for dinner. 16" Large and 5 slices for takeout.

Delicious, fresh casual pizza joint with NJ's best. We got takeout & it was very good. Highly recommend the Eggplant Rollatini pizza, so delicious. Their Vodka sauce is awesome. I didn't realize I'd ordered penne on the pizza but it was a fun carb-fest Also enjoyed crisp mozz sticks & fresh Caesar salad. Seems like a good stop for young families & kids. Will be back for sure!!

A great place for lunch or a quick dinner. Dining area is clean and not crowded. A sizable menu and lots of pizza choices. The pizza was nice and hot and crispy. The antipasto salad was really good but the dressing was so so.

    A pizza with a receipt

So I guess maybe I annoyed them for ordering before closing. Think they forgot my receipt on the pie and pizza must have slid ( I delivered for 2-3 years so not mad about it) Food overall was very very flavorful Changed to a 4 after a slice! Very good, next time maybe I'll order during the day.

Was nearby the Montvale train station and I was looking for something new to eat. I checked yelp and found this place. There's dine in service and take out available. I was somewhat of a hurry, so I just ordered a few slices. I tried the neopolitan slice and two Sicilian slices. It was enough to fill me up. Food was good, nothing really wrong with the slices, but nothing that would knock my socks off. The service was pretty quick and friendly.

So yesterday I placed an order for Pepperoni Pinwheel, Penny, à la vodka w/Grilled Chicken and Neapolitan Pizza w/pepperoni. Hostess was courteous and efficient. The delivery was prompt and well within the time window. Believe I was told 45mins and food arrived in less than 30mins. This was also a 3pm Saturday call so not during usual busy hours(keep in mind). As far as the food goes everything was fantastic. Living in Pearl River I would have to say this is my favorite Italian place that has delivery(not DoorDash BS but hired drivers) and is consistent. I will admit I am not a great explorer of menu options. I find things I enjoy and reorder the items. Definitely recommended giving this place a try. Sorry for no photos but everything was so good I completely forgot to take any. Update: added photos

Sure I love sushi, but if it tastes fishy, it's bad fish and growing up in Norway on boiled fish and an evil concoction called Lutefisk. I haven't been a big fan of the seafood scene here in the tri-state. This placed changed my mind. The first time here our waitress, Beth made sure we knew what was fresh and popular for the evening. Throw in the fact that the owner Ralph and his mom checked in on us that we were happy with our dinners made this a great over the top local place. Food: For appetizers I had the escargot. It was amazing. Not your standard escargot in a standard scalloped dish with a small dash of garlic and butter, but a bowl consisting of a wonderful broth of escargot, garlic, butter and accompanied with toasted baguette slices. Mains: My wife ordered the "Codfather"consisting of cod, shrimp and scallops. Let's just say I made sure to keep my arms and hands on my side of the table and not attempt to try a sample from her plate with the fear of losing a digit. I ordered the fish and chips. Hey! It's fried, can't go wrong as a non-fish eater going with this route. Nope. Beyond my expectations. My last best fish and chips was at the famous take away at the Borough Market in London. This version? Fresh Cod, well done fries, homemade tartar sauce and coleslaw, just saved me the airfare to the UK. We have all ready been back twice. It is our new fave.

I suggest you head towards the houses, away from town, if you can't find a spot. I've been anxious to try this place as the pictures look solid enough and reviewers thus far seem content. My wife and I entered with plans to have beer and apps. We ended up getting Guinness, onion rings, fried calamari and the Cooper's Burger. You can't beat a 22oz Guinness for $8. The prices on their website also match what you'll see inside. Lately I find so many restaurants are charging more than they advertise online. Service was great, friendly and very attentive. I was also surprised to see how well they clean tables between customers. Spray, wipe table, wipe lamp, shakers, etc. It's totally clean for the next customer. There are only 8 or so tables in here, plus bar seating. We enjoyed some comfy seats at a high top table for two. The onion rings were great - crisp and battered nicely so they hold together. While almost a little overcooked, they were still good and better than I had at the last high end steakhouse I went to. The fried calamari was fairly priced and a good portion. It had a light crispness, though bigger pieces would've been nicer. They were mostly small, but certainly a lot of it. The accompanying marinara was good and plentiful. We got the Cooper's Burger cooked medium and it came out medium. It's a simple burger that comes with lettuce and tomato. Some red onion wouldn't been nice. They charge extra for all sorts of stuff you can get on top - fried mushrooms, fried onions, eggs, etc. It also comes with fries, which were good. Overall, it was a nice cozy time. Several middle aged couples ate here that night and a couple small groups. No loud bar crowds as they're all on central avenue. In fact, I was surprised how nice the acoustics were inside. You can hear people at your table no problem, can hear the music inside at the right level and don't hear a lot of background chatter or noise. I'd most certainly return if in the mood for pub food. And ... No credit card fee!

I had driven by once or twice and was contemplating entering the establishment myself; however, I have a keen sense for these types of locals and I felt I had to wait for an invite as such I eventually received. I was correct in my estimation, as my final determination of this spot... of which I'll get to... is that I'd walk (not run) back and would be willing to give it another guy for another event. The ambiance is quite remarkable for a Pub Flex+ type of joint. Double jointed with two floors, flexed into a bar upon entry, booths and high tables throughout... this place is quite bright and cheery. It feels like it can fit an entire hall until it actually had to... in which such a large space felt like it had been cranked by an f and cuddled a family of orphan dogs. For a gastropub the menu was short, yet sweet. I could've probably ordered anything on the menu and felt like I got an above average meal. I got the 4 leaves burger which was indeed a very above average burger accompanied by above average fries. Their duty was dutiful but did not have me barging over barrels for more. Nor did it for others, although everyone seemed to enjoy their meals in a bright and professional environment. As for lunch or dinner? I'd only come back again for work. But I've got a hinker, or maybe a tinker, that brunch in here would be quite nice. The day will come when I try it and I hope to be able to bring back better news than above average. LB usually doesn't do above average... as you know. But sometimes I like to make the unsung swan feel like a bell of a ball. What a guy. Four leaves. It's a fast-casual franchise inspired by Lebanese/Middle Eastern cuisine. The menu is straightforward and follows the typical "build your own" food model. You can create your own bowl, pita roll, or salad. Then you add your bases, proteins, toppings, and sauces. The toppings are UNLIMITED, so go off!!! Plus, they give you free pita bread! They also have a small selection of hot & cold appetizers, desserts, and drinks. The prices are reasonable and they give you a generous amount of food. Depending on how hangry I am, I can usually split my food into two meals. My go-to order is the Naya bowl. I highly recommend trying these: *Chicken Shawarma (roasted strips of marinated chicken) - One of my favorite proteins! It's tangy and garlicky. *Falafel (fried chickpea croquette with herbs and spices) - They're super crispy and deep fried to perfection with a golden-brown exterior. The inside is a vibrant green color from all of the fresh herbs, spices, and grounded chickpeas. *Beef Shawarma - Tender, juicy, and savory! *Baba Ghannouj - A must try for eggplant lovers!! It's smoky with rich flavors from charred eggplant, tahini, garlic, and lemon juice. *Hummus - It's creamy, nutty, and earthy. All of the ingredients and toppings are fresh. Every bite is a burst of flavor! The staff is always friendly and packs my bowl to the brim, so I can't complain. Most of what they've got is a 4/4.5 out of 5 but I'm rounding up for the full experience. Phenomenal price point. Variety of food that all comes out well. Performs well in restaurant and when the food travels. Friendly staff. And local business of which I support. I suffer from GGS - Good Guy Syndrome, sorry not sorry. My motha, bless her soul.
