Came to Four Leaves for a GNO and I found it through Yelp! The pics of the place really drew me in -- I wasn't expecting such a fancy place in Park Ridge. The food itself was fine - I wasn't amazed by it but I still left satisfied. We ordered a bunch of things including the Fig and Pig and Burrata Margherita Floatbreads. The Fig and Pig were my fave due to the prosciutto and fig jam. Also tried the Crispy Calamari and the Prosciutto Onion rings. We split cheesecake for dessert -- I was SO disappointed because I wanted to try the Banana Pudding they have listed on their website but they said it's no longer a menu item. Oh well. With eagerness, and some enthusiasm, I was invited to a function of work to Four Leaves on the legendary Kinderkamack rd. I had driven by once or twice and was contemplating entering the establishment myself; however, I have a keen sense for these types of locals and I felt I had to wait for an invite as such I eventually received. I was correct in my estimation, as my final determination of this spot... of which I'll get to... is that I'd walk (not run) back and would be willing to give it another guy for another event. The ambiance is quite remarkable for a Pub Flex+ type of joint. Double jointed with two floors, flexed into a bar upon entry, booths and high tables throughout... this place is quite bright and cheery. It feels like it can fit an entire hall until it actually had to... in which such a large space felt like it had been cranked by an f and cuddled a family of orphan dogs. For a gastropub the menu was short, yet sweet. I could've probably ordered anything on the menu and felt like I got an above average meal. I got the 4 leaves burger which was indeed a very above average burger accompanied by above average fries. Their duty was dutiful but did not have me barging over barrels for more. Nor did it for others, although everyone seemed to enjoy their meals in a bright and professional environment. As for lunch or dinner? I'd only come back again for work. But I've got a hinker, or maybe a tinker, that brunch in here would be quite nice. The day will come when I try it and I hope to be able to bring back better news than above average. LB usually doesn't do above average... as you know. But sometimes I like to make the unsung swan feel like a bell of a ball. What a guy. Four leaves. Really enjoyed our meal at 4 Leaves! The service was great, and my salmon was cooked exactly to my liking. I also really appreciated how accommodating they were with a gluten allergy, which made dining out much easier. The restaurant has stylish decor and a great atmosphere. I visited again with colleagues for a happy hour. They reserved a large area at the bar for us and we pre-ordered apps. Altogether, we were about 20 people merrily drinking away. I was eager to give this place another shot and hopefully be able to bump up the stars. However, the lackluster food really prohibits the matter. Everyone was happy drinking beers, cocktails, wine. The drinks were good. Cocktails weren't large pours, but I think were about adequate. The food is where we all struggled. Fire roasted hummus - good enough hummus, I liked the diced tomatoes, cucumbers and olives, but the "warm pita" was dreadful. I thought it just tasted like stale roasted pita. Sometime next to me said it tasted like old matza. Tavern nachos - these were a bit more tolerable, but nothing really on the plate to get excited about. The oversized chips were great too use in the hummus because of the awful pita. Otherwise, there was a bit of avocado, a drizzle of cheese and really not much else there to scoop up with every bite. Spinach dip - a lot was left on the bar when we were done as I think everyone just didn't care for the flavors. Popcorn chicken - this one was good! They sorta forgot to bring the orders of this one out, but we were all grateful when it finally arrived. Piping hot, crisp pieces of chicken breast with a tasty dipping sauce. We all enjoyed this one to wrap up the happy hour. I'm doubtful we'll return as a group as we've had more enjoyable happy hours elsewhere. read more

Passed by this place a million times and always seemed so lively and upbeat like I'm missing out on all the fun. Finally dropped by and yeah it's def a vibe here! Live music singing covers, has 2 floors and lots of cozy seats. Food wise? Ummm I don't think they believe in salt? Lmao I mean I swear there was zero salt used in any of the dishes! Everything was bland which was truly disappointing. I really wanted to love my lamb shank but yeah a sprinkle of salt and everything would have came alive!! BUT nope it did not.. There was a manager that came by a few times to ask how things were. We def gave our input, flat bread needed to be cooked longer so it can have a crisps and they were lacking on the seasoning. So hey hopefully they actually considered our comments and made things better for the future guest. Might be willing to give it another try, maybe.. it's def cool vibe with lots of beer choices but if the food was better? Yeah we would have became regulars! So sad lol read more

Had an enjoyable meals w/family on a Saturday night. Place was busy & service was OK. Had a problem w/2 of our martini's that were not made right - they fixed it promptly. BTW, a martini costs $17 & it's tiny! I enjoyed my shrimp taco's w/side salad. They were small, but good. We enjoyed the corn side, a pork spring roll app, & the short rib taco's as well. The noise level of the place was OK until the musicians showed up - after that, it was crazy loud & we got out there quickly. Nice place, liked the menu but be aware, it's pretty pricey! read more

I'm honestly just happy they're still open after the fire. It would have been such a loss if this place didn't make it back. The staff is always really nice and welcoming, and I consistently have a great time sitting at the bar. It's one of those spots where you can relax, have a few drinks, and enjoy the atmosphere. I highly suggest checking out their happy hour because that's where you really get the best value. The entrées and food are good, but slightly overpriced for the quality and portion of what you're getting. You're definitely paying for the ambience here, and if you know that going in, you'll have a great time. read more

I've come to Four Leaves numerous times since it opened (and was eagerly anticipating its opening as soon as the renderings were put up!). We really don't have anything like Four Leaves in the area - a place open for lunch as well as dinner with well-crafted cocktails and elevated bar food. The restaurant itself is GORGEOUS - open and incredibly bright with the most beautiful bar and an overall great attention to detail. There are little touches throughout that make it seem like it's been a staple way longer than it has been open (in the best way - it feels established). The bar stools are incredibly comfortable, beers are served in glasses from the actual brewery, and wine glasses are Riedel - it's touches like those that go a long way. The food is solid and perfect to accompany drinks, plus the portions are HUGE. The nachos are delicious and MORE than enough to share amongst a group, the chips with blue cheese fondue is unique and again, really well portioned for sharing, the Caesar salad is one of the best I've ever had and is massively (and deceivingly) portioned, and the black bean burger is an awesome vegetarian add (with great fries). The chicken sandwich and burger have also been a big hit when I've gone with a group and I know they were talking about changing their menu, so I'm excited for the new adds to it! The drinks are also SO delicious. Every time I've gone I've ordered the Spritz 5.0 ($16), which is massive and so refreshing. I've also ordered the Little Engine ($16) with blanco tequila, blood orange, and Campari and it's another absolute fucking winner. Their wine is also decent and well priced by the glass and their beer list is pretty extensive as well so there's genuinely something for everyone. As good as the drinks, ambiance, and food are, a place is only as good as the people working there and that's where Four Leaves get a 5 star review from me. The team that works there is excellent and personable while also being professional and noticing when people need drink refills or things cleared/to put in an order. Mathew is an amazing bartender and who we've run into the most - so good at his job and incredibly friendly, plus the type of bartender who remembers you when you walk in, which goes a long way. Anne Marie is also incredibly friendly and it was a lot of fun to be there while she tried out new recipes for cocktails (including a Cider Margarita that I will 100% be ordering regularly). All in all, to the negative reviews of Four Leaves from when they first opened, I'd encourage a re-try. They're a spot that will continue to be in my regular rotation for the good vibes and amazing service. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. Visited on 6/30/26. Waited 2 1/2 hours for our meals to come. Only to be told the kitchen is folding like a wet towel. Not the answer we were looking for. But were told the kitchen has all new staff and they weren't working on our meals yet? A bunch of people started walking out, some went across the street to Park Steakhouse. We decided to get the check paid for our drinks and tipped the poor waitress who was beyond frustrated. Poor girl was just trying to make a living. This place is well appointed, and the food is pretty good. But it's another example of a restaurant that couldn't care less about the noise level. Lots of people like a loud and noisy place. If you are one of those people, this place is definitely for you. We literally had to yell to hear each other at our table. Way too loud for my liking. read more

Honestly surprised by all the good reviews. Atmosphere is really nice but the service, loud music and food were horrible. We waited over an hour for our food. I got the steak frites and the fries were cold. Paid $32 for two drinks that were half full. We said something to the waitress and she said it was correct. I told her to look at everyone else's martini glasses which were full and she said our glasses must be bigger. It was the same glass!! Clearly would never return. read more

We went for brunch on a Sunday. It was fairly empty which is surprising bc most brunch places in the area are packed. Although the restaurant is really pretty, the food was lackluster. My avocado toast was way too salty and my eggs over easy were almost burned. My husbands eggs were equally overcooked. Our bacon was basically uncooked - we sent it back and they happily fixed it. We saw several other diners return items as well. All the dishes that came out were on the smaller size (which is fine - just be warned). I think the restaurant still has some kinks to work out. read more

Our first time at this relatively new spot in Park Ridge. Wow! Impressed on every front. Drinks were delish. Service was fabulous. Food was divine. I feel like this place is upscale without being overpriced. Everything we had was just fantastic. We tried off the apps menu the following: prawns, chips and popcorn chicken. Then we shared the steak sandwich. Everything was so flavorful and really delicious. Diana - our bartender was great! She was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. We've been here twice in the last week or so. First time we wanted to give it a try for a drink after dinner. We forgot to get the bartenders name, but she was very nice! We were there Sunday night 6/30 around 10pm. She made me an excellent cosmo. We want back to try the food a different night and the service was on the slower side, but to be expected for a new place. The food came out fairly quickly, but wasn't hot & the service itself was pretty slow. We get it's a new place, so we'll definitely give it another try, maybe after they're open some time. It really pains me to give this place 1 star but unfortunately that is all it deserves. We tried it when it first opened and it was ok, 2nd time I didn't review because it was so bad. Bad tasting food as well as super small portions. There wasn't enough pieces of steak to cover the bread on the steak sandwich. We gave the manager a lot of feedback and I was hoping that there was some improvement.. however we walked in today at 12:30 lunch and was disappointed again. We were handed a brunch menu. Lots of breakfasty choices and on the back side of the menu a more normal lunch menu. We ordered 2 flatbreads and some specialty cocktails. Drinks were $17 and only ok- served in a champagne coup glass so not so much drink. The flatbreads were mediocre at best. Hot on the ends and lukewarm in the middle. Again I would have thought that the owners put a lot of money and care into the decor- knowing there is an upscale clientele but where is the chef????? We eat out a lot and would love to hang out at this place but just can't justify spending the money on food that honestly is just not good. Best part was that the price of the flatbreads printed on menus was $16- but when we got the bill they charged us $21! When we questioned the price we were told that's only the weekday price. Took a bit of convincing to have them fix the bill - and when I asked to speak to the manager- again to give feedback- our waiter went upstairs to ask him to come down and he said it would be a few minutes. First- if I owned this place I would get an amazing chef, train the staff to look professional and act professional- my manager -not Devin who was there today- would want to listen to customer feedback and apologize for pricing errors printed on the menu. I would want my place to stand for something- relaxing and comfortable atmosphere, amazing drinks and appetizers and overall tasty meals! I will keep watching as I would like it to become a great restaurant in our town and I can only hope that the owner reads my review and makes the necessary changes- if not there is always "The Park " which is always a home run! read more

We have been very happy here. We have eaten here a few times and have had good experiences. The food is good and the menu offers many options. The potato chips and blue cheese dip is yummy! Tuna tartar, pretzel are good apps as well. Brussels and asparagus are also highly recommended. My husband enjoyed the steak sandwich and my son loves their popcorn chicken. One time I got a seafood pasta dish that was on the bland side. The atmosphere inside is cool, but it's very loud. The service is ok. It can be slow when they are busy, but they are very nice. The outside patio is great, although the chairs are not very comfortable and we were forgotten about once when we sat outside. Overall great addition to our town. read more

The coctail I ordered, was a Vodka Martini.. served in a smaller glass half filled.. I, of course complained that it was not a full glass. ( This had never happened before) The bartender,filled the glass, and informed the waitress and the hostess that, I would be charged for a double serving. Atmosphere is just beautiful but the food and service are horrible. Waited an hour for a cob salad that was just not edible. Lettuce was old and soggy obviously dumped out of a plastic container. There was no dressing served with the salad and the chicken was burned and dry. We had a large party and there were multiple problems with the food. Won't be coming back here. read more

Horrific experience. Booked a bridal luncheon weeks before. They decide to close because of weather (which wasn't not there) and never called to cancel. We waited outside a closed restaurant with 15 people. Outrageous and when we finally got a hold of someone 45 min past reservation time and after we had to fine another restaurant with our group and run there they say oh we thought we called everyone. No you did not. Every other restaurant in the area was open. Odd right. Just bad business if you ask me. Shame on them. read more

First and last time. My wife ordered the veggie wrap with chicken, a side salad with dressing on the side. Wrap came without the chicken. Salad came with dressing. The $18 or $19 for the veggie wrap is pretty excessive for the small amount of veggies in the wrap. Over priced. I asked the server what CAB stood for, he didn't know and said he'd find out. When he came out with our drinks I asked again about CAB. He said he'd check. He never came back with an answer. I ordered the signature burger medium rare. Burger came out mostly raw. Told the server to take it back. At this point, I was fed up. As we left I shared our experience with the assistant manager. She apologized and took our number. Wow! First of all, this place is beautiful! The place is big enough to accommodate a real crowd but small enough that it feels intimate and romantic. It has so many cute touches. They have outdoor seating, bar seating, the main area, plus an upper balcony-like space that overlooks the main seating area. Overall just a great vibe. The service was fantastic. We came a little before the dinner rush and even once it started filling up, our waitress was great! We came for drinks primarily but ended up trying a bunch of appetizers and everything was delicious. I think I ate all of the pretzel bites. You also must try the nachos! Drinks were spot on as well! Parking was no problem and they have a garage as well so that makes life easy. Overall, just a great, chill experience. I'm not sure why there are so many bad reviews but from what I can tell they were all from when they first opened. Whatever issues other people had have clearly been ironed out. read more

Our first time here, with others recommending the establishment. Was a Monday , my wife's birthday and she wanted to try it. Service was excellent. Our waiter Joe was very attentive and check on us frequently. We got Hot Chips and fondue drip. That was a nice appetizer to try. I really wanted to try the Bavarian Pretzel (To compare it to Westwood Meats). The wings, apparently recommended, were just meh. If you like the style of wings at Anthony Franco's, you'll probably like these. It did not do it for me. Give me Chicken Delight or Stew Leonard's wings over these. My Caesar Salad with grilled chicken was also meh. Crouton "strips" were burnt pieces of bread with too much rosemary. Chicken was overcooked and dry. It's a cool atmosphere, but perhaps go to watch events and skip the entrees. Again, service was VG (hence the 3/5) but for a birthday dinner, it was sort of disappointing.
