But vibes are pure sandwich shop. Lots of bottled drink options, plenty of Deep River chips too. A little coffee bar setup. I had the Cubano and a bite of the Grilled Chicken Supreme. Both excellent sandwiches. The entire menu looks fantastic. The service was nice. Fairly prompt too. I'd suggesting calling in orders ahead if time is tight, but if you're early, you're not waiting long at all. Enjoyed the visit- and will be back. read more

My colleagues and I have ordered from here for lunch a few times. There is tough competition with A&S in Mt. Kisco and Rocky's in Milwood, some of our other ordering spots, but TSS has remained in the rotation. I do wish they had some more vegetarian options. There are a few, the most memorable one is the one I ordered, something with eggplant. This sandwich was insanity. It was like a work of art. It basically contained a garden worth of eggplant. I'm surprised I was able to fit it in my mouth. It was very tasty and sufficed for a meal and a half tbh. My favorite thing about this place, though, is their fries. Possibly the best fries I've had from a place. They provide a ridiculously massive portion and they are incredible. When you open your mouth to spew nonsense, when you want to talk about the great sandwiches of the great four five and the nine one four, this HAS to be in the conversation. I see all these bots on the gram showing themselves to be scams. This spot should be the hot top but never gets the Bada Bing Bada bop. And that's gotta stop, which is why I finally decided it was time to take my talents to da Yelposphere to make the message clear. In Westchester in particular, this is the sandwich king. No doubt, giving them full clout. From breakfast through lunch you'll get the crunch you crave. I've tried over a dozen of these delicate designs and each is better than the last. The monthly specials are so gargantuanly good that you wish each would be full-timers. But then they'd be less special. Similar to why Linguini B can't post everyday. Shared two of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time at this quaint standalone sandwich shop in Valhalla. They are open 6 days a week Monday through Saturday and it took a day off for me to finally get there to eat. One of this week's special is the -The Chicken Vodka Breaded chicken cutlets, smoked mozzarella, bacon and lots of home made vodka sauce on a toasty piece of ciabatta. The cook toasted the bread under a salamander which gave the bread a nice crunch and melted the cheese well. The sandwich looked mouth-watering and tasty as good as it looked. It was so hearty I took half home. I believe most of their specialty sandwiches are served on either ciabatta or focaccia. You can order 1/2 or a whole sandwich, either portion is a hearty sandwich. My husband ordered a signature special (regular menu),. They made a very robust Cheesesteak, sautéed peppers & onions on garlic bread, thin-sliced house beef and melted cheddar. It was filled with an ample amount of beef. He exclaimed it was one of the best beef sandwiches he's ever eaten. With both have 1/2 sandwich left which we can enjoy for dinner. The establishment offers onsite parking in front and on the side of their shop. Outdoors are a few tables and chairs as well as a picnic table on the side. We opted to eat inside on the stools with a table bar by the window. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. Aside from their regular menu they have specials listed on a black board outside before you enter as well as updating their weekly online menu which highlight their specials. I don't find myself in Valhalla a lot, but I do have a buddy who lives there. When I asked him where I should eat, The Sandwich Spot was his immediate recommendation. Also, it was Yelp's first recommendation. Turns out both of them know what they're talking about (I knew this already), as this is a good sandwich shop. So far, I've only had the porchetta (roasted in house) and a chicken cutlet bacon thing, but both were bangin', and the care they take in putting them together, and the quality of the bread and the ingredients leads me to believe that those things would extend to everything they make. The shop itself isn't much, mostly just a counter, but the guys were friendly, and I don't care about ambiance if the sandwiches are all this good. read more

This little, reddish house-looking Valhalla Sandwich Spot on Legion Dr, is its own stand-alone spot I've seen driving to and from on Rt100 while taking these back roads. But they've also popped on Yelp- so when I noticed their Vegetarian sandwich online, that was enough for me to venture. Since hubs worked at the office the day I stopped in, coming here early afternoon during my summer break, was perfect. Considering my husband is the carnivore, grabbing one of these meaty sandwiches next time around, will be right up his alley. Their biggest ticket here are their sandwiches of course- so I'm sure whichever option you go for, order with confidence- you'll be in good hands. There's a Daily Menu featuring Signature Sandwiches, Salads, Soup(s), etc. Their weekly specials switch up regularly (I think) but their sandwiches always remain. There are other things too like Nutella EVERYTHING: Nutella shakes, they have Nutella Empanadas- which I ordered and were scrumptious, Nutella croissant (sounds heavenly) and other Nutella treats. My 'Meatless Sub' with roasted veggies+Burrata spread+balsamic glaze on slightly toasted ciabatta, was genius. The only thing my sandwich needed were thinner veggies. Other than that, my 'Meatless Sub' tasted phenomenal and felt like a warm embrace. The ciabatta itself has the perfect balance between soft and chewy, and crisp and flaky. Service was great from the young lady to the guys in the front. Gracias! The Sandwich Spot created something wonderful in these neck of the woods between two pieces of bread- not to mention, they've been featured in the prestigious Westchester Magazine. It's a small little spot right off Grasslands Road down the hill from WCC. Before entering I was greeted by the owner, Sam. He was very cool and truly believes in what he is doing. I really like it when owners get involved. The inside is small but decorated very nicely. The sandwich wasn't too big and wasn't too small. I got the cheesesteak and it was one of the best I have had in a long time. I'm not sure if they make their own bread but it was extremely fresh. The steak was juicy and the red and yellow bell peppers added the perfect amount of sweetness. I am eager to try their other sandwiches. I love supporting local businesses that are passionate about what they do and make great food. This place is a little pricey but it is too notch quality. Yes! All of the other posts that say this place is killin it -- 100% true! I got the cubano, totally delicious & balanced. Portions are huge. I got the whole sandwich thinking I would eat half that day and half the next cause I had to drive for several hours. I wish I had it cut in quarters. I have only gone this once, but the small parking area was packed. I was lucky to not be in a super hurry, but that was at almost 3pm, so maybe best to call in ahead. The staff is SO nice! Idk how they juggle so many customers(?) actually I think there was a help wanted sign in the window! This place is a little out of the way for me but totally worth it. It's a cute take out spot that's brightly lit. All the breads and sandwiches look enticing. I went with the full size porchetta sandwich and an order of hash browns (comes with 2). I had the hash brown immediately but I found it to be oily and soft. I like them crispy. I ate the sandwich about 40 min after but the meat was tender and the jus kept the sandwich juicy. Half was enough for lunch. I will definitely be back for this sandwich and to try others! read more

The service was friendly. The sandwiches were phenomenal. Hubby got a custom today beef sandwich and he really enjoyed it. I got the Cubano and it was very good. While it's not a traditional Cubano (it's on ciabatta bread and not pressed), it was delicious. I've been coming here pretty much every month for the past year and it's always so good but this last time was really bad. I ordered the ragin' Cajun, truffle fries, and my bf ordered the cheesesteak. My ragin' cajun looked nothing like the online photo. It was mostly lettuce and had so much sauce it was overwhelming/soggy. My bf couldn't get the garlic aioli on his cheesesteak because he's allergic to eggs so it was very dry. The fries were the worst part. I've ordered just the truffle fries plenty of times because they are my favorite in the area usually but these were nothing like what we usually get. They weren't cooked fully and quite soggy. This all comes after I called to order several times last week and couldn't get any answer. Amazing! Such a great spot! I was craving a sandwich and had been wanting to try this place for awhile. It opened several months ago. They have a variety of sandwiches, drinks and specials. I stopped by for their tuna melt after they posted a picture of it online. I knew I needed to try it. The employees were friendly and helpful. First time there! They have a great selection of sandwiches. Ordered the Porchetta whole wedge, as well as a tuna on a roll with lettuce and tomato. My son loves good food, and for his college graduation party we ordered sandwich platters and salads from the sandwich spot, because it's one of his favorite places. The food was outstanding--fresh, high quality ingredients prepared and presented with love. Everyone at the party absolutely raved about the food. We got both ciabatta and focaccia sandwiches, a variety including the moo-ffah, the standard, meatless, turkey club, and the sengwich. Each and every one was a hit. We stopped here on our way to LEGOLAND when the place in Valhalla we wanted to try was unexpectedly closed. Not a huge place, with parking for maybe 6 cars. Outdoor seating is a few tables out front and a picnic bench in the back. There was a Mophie charging pad laid out for some reason. Sizable menu was up on flat screen monitors, but sister was able to make her own request. Offers a nice selection of soft drinks, including Mexi-Coke, and a bunch of local Tristate area products. Got a nice raspberry iced tea; sister got a coffee soda. Steak & eggs breakfast sandwich was a bit heavy for me, but it was tasty for sure. read more
