Smash fries and a bacon burger

I had a good experience at Smashburger. The restaurant was clean and had a nice atmosphere, which made it comfortable to sit and eat. They did forget my fries at first, but when I mentioned it, they fixed the mistake right away without any issues. The staff was patient and handled everything calmly, which I appreciated. Our cashier was especially nice and made us feel welcome. Overall, even with the small mix-up, I'd definitely recommend Smashburger for a good meal and friendly service.

The food is pretty solid, I like the caramel shake. Solid service, although I order from DoorDash... I saw the building (ambiance) it's looks okay.

When did a smashed burger take over as the new burger fad? Obviously this namesake restaurant was the forerunner. Had the urge, drove by, stopped by. Efficient ordering system. Got the double bacon smash, scorching' hot wings and a Reese's peanut butter cup shake. I sat down and the food was brought to me quickly. Everything tasted fresh, clean and tasty. Overall rating on this place not so great. I have no idea why. Some ppl complain about everything I guess

Had a chance to go to Smashburger last night and it was quite the treat! They are under new management and from what I can tell things are going really smooth. Staff was friendly and informative. We had the black bean burger (ok wow even if you aren't a veggie you will love this one), chicken burger, fries, onion rings and chocy milkshake. We brought home a cheeseburger and chicken strips for our kids. All of the food was warm, fresh & delicious. I highly recommend getting the fries with oil & rosemary. The restaurant itself is clean and spacious and they have safety measures in place (masks, dividers etc.). Please support your local restaurants!

The food is good, however, not as it used to be. The employees should wear face masks because i watched them talk over the food that they were making and thats disgusting because people talk and spit sometimes and thats how viruses spread.

In our current world where bizarro happenings are sadly becoming more commonplace this falls right into the mix. While certainly not a matter of life or death, my story bears repeating in hopes that other future patrons might have a better customer experience at Smashburger than I did. It's also all about holding businesses to account for the promises they make to their customers. I have had previous issues dining at the Smashburger franchise located in White Plains NY; so much so that management gave me a "free entree" voucher card in the mail as a mea culpa in hopes of keeping me a satisfied customer. Because of Covid safety concerns I have not frequented this Smashburger location since before the pandemic. While cleaning out my wallet this morning I found my free entree card (see attached) which has the expiration date crossed off and a signature of Mr "Ray (Valetti)? in its place. I thought today might be a good time to finally redeem my free entree voucher card! Upon submitting the card to the cashier he claimed it was expired and no longer valid. I explained that the card was indeed current and valid as the expiration date was crossed out & signed by a Mr Valetti from the Smash Burger corporate marketing department. I asked to speak to the manager who also told me my card was not valid even though I clearly pointed out Mr Valetti's signature and so consequently this superseded any expiration date required in order to redeem it. To add insult to injury this "manager" who was not wearing any proper identification tag (see attached pic) & didn't identify herself by name. I'll also add she was quite dismissive, extremely surly, & actually got belligerent when I took her picture. Without getting into details if this person exemplifies management for your establishment, she is clearly not an asset and in dire need of re-training. To say that an organization is not not well run, doesn't honor their promises, or value customer service is one thing, to experience this disastrous trifecta 1st hand is another. Suffice it to say, definitely not a good look for this franchise or their flagship brand. What should have been a simple mike drop was a big time ball drop. After my absolutely horrible interaction today I certainly won't give Smashburger another opportunity to disrespect and embarrass me by patronizing their restaurants in the future. PS-Doesn't the manager have to wear a mask? Yikes!

Raw chicken anyone? Looks like sushi.

I liked the new-wave graffiti style throughout the interior--it gives the place a modern, energetic feel that stands out from typical fast-food spots. It was pretty busy when I arrived, so there was a little bit of a wait, but it was completely understandable once I got my food. What really stood out to me was that everything came out hot. That may sound simple, but these days it's actually rare. Whether it's places like Burger King, McDonald's, or even fried chicken spots like Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, food often comes out lukewarm. Fried chicken especially needs to be hot, and Dave's absolutely delivered. My entire meal--from the mozzarella sticks to the fries--was fresh and hot. I ordered the mozzarella sticks with a little kick, and they were fire. You can adjust the spice level, and the seasoning gave them just enough heat without overpowering the flavor. The fries were hot and crispy, and they came with Dave's sauce, which was surprisingly good and paired really well with everything. Another nice surprise was the slice of bread tucked underneath the mozzarella sticks--simple, but it really hit the spot. The service was also excellent, and I want to give a special shout-out to Jo Jo and Isaiah working the front line. These two really held it down. Their energy is exactly what establishments like this need. They were engaging, positive, smiling, attentive, and in my opinion they kick off the entire experience from the moment you walk in. The manager also came over and greeted me, asking if I was being helped. I made sure to tell him that the front-line energy is the business, because when your team sets the tone like that, it makes a big difference in the overall experience. The only thing I wish they had on the menu would be bone-in chicken. Wings or traditional bone-in pieces would be amazing because that's usually my go-to. That said, the food I had was so good that it didn't take away from the overall experience. Overall, I was surprisingly impressed with the food, the service, and the atmosphere. If you're in the White Plains area and want hot, fresh food with real flavor and great service, Dave's Hot Chicken is definitely worth checking out.

Unfortunately, the food wasn't the best for us. I'm not a fan of spicy food, and we specifically requested no spice on everything we ordered. Even so, the food seemed heavily seasoned and still had more heat and seasoning than we expected. It was difficult to fully enjoy the meal because of that. Another issue was that the air conditioning was blasting very strongly inside the restaurant, making it uncomfortable to sit and eat for an extended period. Overall, great customer service, but the food and dining atmosphere weren't quite what we were hoping for.

I had never heard…read moreof this place before, but after a little research I found out it's a franchise with locations mostly in Jersey. It took a while, but I was in the area today and decided to finally check them out for lunch. As suggested by the name, Mashed Burgers is a smashed burgers spot - similar in line to a Five Guys or Shake Shack. Unlike those, the theming at Mashed is a little more eclectic - lots of bold colors with an almost urban vibe. The arcade games in the main dining area complete the look. The space isn't too large - the ordering counter take up a good amount of space but they have several tables and a stool counter setup. Smashed burgers are the star the menu, available in a couple of styles as well as in single, double, and triple. Additionally, they have several varieties of fries, Nashville hot chicken, shakes, and churros. Since it was my first time, I decided to go simple and get a single mashed burger and an order of fries. The burger was good - a single patty was just enough, though if I was hungrier I could definitely down a double. The patty had that smashed thickness and was paired with cheese, pickles, and a tasty Mac-like sauce. The fries were a generous portion, and were those crispy "psoriasis" kind that I love mmm. Service was fast - they have an efficient system and my order was ready relatively quickly. Overall, I had a good first experience at Mashed Burgers. This isn't the healthiest option on the Mamaroneck Ave strip, but they are formidable competitor to Five Guys and if the mood catches me I wouldn't be against returning.

I looked at their menu online before I went. They have burgers, fries, milkshakes, and hot fried chicken. They make their own sauce which is very tangy, unlike any other burger sauce I've tried. I ordered the single mash burger with sauce on the side. It was $7. Definitely worth the price. There are onions cooked into the burger; it also comes with cheese and pickles. I would definitely order this again. Even though it's a flattened burger, it was very meaty. It's definitely my favorite burger that I've had and I consider myself to be a burger connoisseur. There is plenty of seating inside with tables and chairs; there are also 3 video game machines where you can entertain yourself while you wait. There were a few other parties there when I was there and a few take out orders, but my burger was ready within 5 minutes. I can't wait to go back here!! Glad this place is in the area!

I wish they had a two top, as I do not care to sit so high, and I usually take a table. Most customers takeaway, so there is usually plenty of space, even when the place is humming. Recommended.
