Loved this road side spot. Always in search of a good dog with a nice snap and they didn't disappoint. It was good and the bun was soft and not split. Got my dog within a minute or two. I would suggest studying the menu in the parking lot if this is your first time before going up to the window. There is lot of outdoor seating directly in front, across street and in front of parking spots. Nice sign with some history of the building as well.

I've been meaning to go to this restaurant for so many years! The kingdom hotdog was just what I expected - Delicious!!. The Bill Murray was not as seasoned i think the coleslaw watered down the flavor. The manager was friendly and accommodating, providing recommendations for the next time i visit. The only downside I would say is that the tater tots and lemonade were super expensive and they do not have different sizes that you can order. In addition, the hot dog buns were not closed on the bottom so everything fell right through. I had to hold it like a hamburger so that the contents wouldnt fall. I recommend coming for the unique hot dogs flavors specifically the Kingdom

I was having a craving for a Chicago Red Hot and went a bit out of my way for this amazingly adorable place. The hotdog's themselves are not my favorite, but the place is just total perfection. LOVED the Chicago RedHot, curly fries, and Mexican Coke. Super worth going out of my way for. The CRH came with a perfect poppyseed bun, and the chili dog came with an amazing pretzel bun. I was also spoiled that the weather was absolutely amazing and the place wasn't too busy. I will definitely 100% be back. The people working there were also really friendly and before I left, I grabbed a lemonade for my ride. Also great.

It's actually a really nice spot despite being on the highway and next to the train station. They made it feel really intimate and lovely over there. Service was good, nothing crazy, but very quick. The dog was delicious and stacked so high with toppings. The fries needed salt and I wish I asked for dipping sauce but overall a really good dog and fries. Highly recommend.

I am speechless. We missed our train back to Manhattan but as soon as we saw the Dog Den we knew we were already home. The staff felt like our family, the 'dogs like our culture, the scenery like nirvana. Not to mention the music bumpin. I will be taking the train to White Plains solely to eat the menu at Dog Den. Hot dogs: long and grilled Buns: soft and seeded Toppings: plentiful and fresh Tummy: full and happy

Superb condomints for dogs. However the dogs could have been larger for the price. A. fun different type if spot to hang out and eat.

I've been absolutely dying to try this place since I drove past it a few months ago. I was worried I wouldn't be able to this year as the temperature cooled down but I'm so glad I was able to try it because let me tell you, it was SO WORTH IT. They have so many delicious hot dog options to choose from, but I landed on the McDogden. It was essentially a Big Mac hot dog (no hamburger). Everything about it just worked, from the hot dog itself to the sesame seed bun, special sauce, and chopped onions. The curly fries and onion rings were also delicious, the curly fries were perfectly fried and seasoned. I was initially worried about the actual hot dog as I have a thing with hot dogs that "snap". If you also have this fear, rest assured, the weenies at The Dog Den do not snap!!

I'm giving the Dog Den 3.5-4 stars because the atmosphere is great. It's located near the White Plains train station and close to the Bronx River parkway trail should you need a bite (or reward meal) after a bike ride to the Kensico Dam. There are bike rails to park your bike and tons of games to entertain yourself with including corn hole. The menu is vast with an assortment of hot dogs to choose from, many of them very unique, just be prepared to get a little messy. I had the Guac Mash & my fiancé the Bernie Mac, you could always build your own or go plain. The tater tots were on point, crispy, tasty, and a little greasy. You definitely need a fork and knife to eat these or at least to eat all the yummies that fall out of your hot dog. The hot dogs are definitely pricier than your average hotdog but I guess that's due to all the extras added on these. I would definitely recommend locals and visitors to WP to check out. Great place to spend some time outside, enjoy a meal and drink, and play some games. Love the vibe for sure. They lost the 1-1.5 stars from me because the two teenagers working the front were not in the best of moods and then proceeded to take their break together and smoke one of those weed pens just a few feet from where we were eating totally disrupting our meal and made us inhale their smoke. So instead of tasting and smelling our food, we were smelling their smoke. I would recommend the management team give its staff down guidance on what's appropriate vs. not in front of patrons especially when eating. There was a family with a baby next to us too, not sure if they got a wiff of that also.

    Bill Murray and Swissy-Shroom
    Drew K.

Great hotdogs ranging from about 5-8 dollars depending on the toppings. We got the Bill Murray and the Swissy-Shroom. The Bill Murray had a great balance of flavors. The cheddar cheese, the pickle/coleslaw, and the onions were a nice touch. Worth every dollar. The Swissy-Shroom was ok compared to its price. It felt a little heavy. It has Swiss cheese grilled mushrooms/onions on top with mayo. Probably could use less mayo... or add a spice element to the sauce. Or sauté the mushrooms and onions with some peppers, perhaps jalapeños. It just needed a little kick. We'll probably go back because overall the food was great, and we want to try some of the other items on the menu!

This is the type of cuisine you'll be satisfied after eating, a few bits and then later on during the day realizing that you're starving after a LONG ASS day of work. You'll come home and then suddenly remember OMG I still have my Dog Den leftovers! Let me tell you something, now I had recently visited this establishment went it first opened way way way back (I met the owner at that time) the SUPER TALL dude (forgive me I did forget his name). Fast forward to now I've watched this place EVOLE! From the interior and exterior this place became PART OF WHITE PLAINS, PART OF WESTCHESTER COUNTY. I was sooooooo grateful (the first day meeting the owner, he shared his passion and why he opened up this business..I believe it was him and his brother as well). But this is an establishment that continues to expand the "Westchester Cuisine Universe" or the "Westchester Restaurant Universe" really look at he details of The Dog Den! The owners poured his HEART into every single details from the menu, the art and MOST IMPORTANTLY the food. The reason I even came back to this Establishment was because I was simply doing my job! Delivering mail lmfao. I ordered the mac and cheese dish with beans, hot dog bits and caramelized onions... The manager had a beautiful energy we shared a few words, the cashier (whom is a aspiring entrepreneur) we shared a few words. The manager gave my water.. The vibe was and is just beautiful. Sure it's just a hot dog spot to you...but to me it's actually a fun CREATIVE, innovative whimsical dream that came to REALITY,it's motivation, it's a place where you will be satisfied you have leftovers.. Please support the locals!! Thank You.

    New Yorker w/ fries

I'll be honest, I'm not much of a hot dog person - I used to eat them regularly when I was younger but lost my taste for them as I got older. Actually, I think in the past 10 years I've only had a hot dog once or twice. Anyway, one of my colleagues alerted me to Dog Den a while back, and after browsing their social media pages and seeing their selection I decided to make an effort to try them out. Due to a combination of my procrastination, COVID-19, and the fact that they're only open seasonally, I didn't make it until now. Better late than never though, right? Dog Den is kind of inconspicuous - located right by the White Plains Metro North, it sits at the corner of Main Street and Bronx Street right by the underpass leading to downtown White Plains. The entire structure is a small building with all of the seating outside (meaning they really didn't have to do any change to the seating because of the pandemic). From what I could gather, there's a small space inside to order but for now they were taking orders directly at the window. They really did it nice - a number of tables were set up and they had contemporary music playing to capture the mood. Even though there's currently an abbreviated menu due to the pandemic, there were a lot of dogs to choose from - separated by dogs wrapped in bacon and dogs without. It was hard to choose but I eventually went with the New Yorker which was topped with sauerkraut, red onion, and brown mustard. It was really good - kind of messy but that's expected. The flavors worked great together which was the most important thing. I also got a side of crinkle cut fries which were good as well - I thought $6 was a little high but you get a ton of fries so for that it's totally worth it. Customer service was awesome - the employee taking care of me noticed my Pride Apple Watch band and personalized my to-go bag with a rainbow heart! I think they personalize the bags for everyone which is a great touch. Overall, I was really impressed with Dog Den - while I don't eat hot dogs too often, the selection and customer service they provide will make them my go-to whenever I'm in the mood for one.

I liked the new-wave graffiti style throughout the interior--it gives the place a modern, energetic feel that stands out from typical fast-food spots. It was pretty busy when I arrived, so there was a little bit of a wait, but it was completely understandable once I got my food. What really stood out to me was that everything came out hot. That may sound simple, but these days it's actually rare. Whether it's places like Burger King, McDonald's, or even fried chicken spots like Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, food often comes out lukewarm. Fried chicken especially needs to be hot, and Dave's absolutely delivered. My entire meal--from the mozzarella sticks to the fries--was fresh and hot. I ordered the mozzarella sticks with a little kick, and they were fire. You can adjust the spice level, and the seasoning gave them just enough heat without overpowering the flavor. The fries were hot and crispy, and they came with Dave's sauce, which was surprisingly good and paired really well with everything. Another nice surprise was the slice of bread tucked underneath the mozzarella sticks--simple, but it really hit the spot. The service was also excellent, and I want to give a special shout-out to Jo Jo and Isaiah working the front line. These two really held it down. Their energy is exactly what establishments like this need. They were engaging, positive, smiling, attentive, and in my opinion they kick off the entire experience from the moment you walk in. The manager also came over and greeted me, asking if I was being helped. I made sure to tell him that the front-line energy is the business, because when your team sets the tone like that, it makes a big difference in the overall experience. The only thing I wish they had on the menu would be bone-in chicken. Wings or traditional bone-in pieces would be amazing because that's usually my go-to. That said, the food I had was so good that it didn't take away from the overall experience. Overall, I was surprisingly impressed with the food, the service, and the atmosphere. If you're in the White Plains area and want hot, fresh food with real flavor and great service, Dave's Hot Chicken is definitely worth checking out.

I wouldn't say it's mind-blowing but passable enough if you're in the mood for hot chicken. I had never heard…read moreof this place before, but after a little research I found out it's a franchise with locations mostly in Jersey. It took a while, but I was in the area today and decided to finally check them out for lunch. As suggested by the name, Mashed Burgers is a smashed burgers spot - similar in line to a Five Guys or Shake Shack. Unlike those, the theming at Mashed is a little more eclectic - lots of bold colors with an almost urban vibe. The arcade games in the main dining area complete the look. The space isn't too large - the ordering counter take up a good amount of space but they have several tables and a stool counter setup. Smashed burgers are the star the menu, available in a couple of styles as well as in single, double, and triple. Additionally, they have several varieties of fries, Nashville hot chicken, shakes, and churros. Since it was my first time, I decided to go simple and get a single mashed burger and an order of fries. The burger was good - a single patty was just enough, though if I was hungrier I could definitely down a double. The patty had that smashed thickness and was paired with cheese, pickles, and a tasty Mac-like sauce. The fries were a generous portion, and were those crispy "psoriasis" kind that I love mmm. Service was fast - they have an efficient system and my order was ready relatively quickly. Overall, I had a good first experience at Mashed Burgers. This isn't the healthiest option on the Mamaroneck Ave strip, but they are formidable competitor to Five Guys and if the mood catches me I wouldn't be against returning.
