I had an awesome experience here! I ordered the Dirty Dogg and the Mutt Fries, and both were absolutely delicious -- super flavorful and cooked perfectly. The service was just as impressive; everyone was friendly, fast, and welcoming. The restaurant itself was spotless, and the whole place had a comfortable, inviting vibe. Absolutely love it! Such creative dogs and sides. You can tell a lot of thought went into this passion project from an industry seasoned chef. You couldn't ask for better service. Very family friendly and welcoming. I'm not typically a huge hot dog guy, but I find myself craving a Doggology dog every week now. Not to mention the Mutt Fries: Chili, cheese, bacon, and onions (I add the jalapeños every time) over a pile of crispy but fluffy fries; so good. Just went there for the first time having accidentally come across it on this website! First, loved the funky Gotham-esque artwork on the walls, very cool! While I went very standard and did the Old Fashioned (reg. dog w/ sauerkraut and 'I think' hot mustard), LOVED it! The slightly toasted different style roll (?) was OUTSTANDING! Not quite sure what brand of hot dog is used, but it definitely looks and tastes a lot more 'premium' than is served on the streets of NYC, that's for #@$! sure! Excellent! And the price was right too ($5/ea.)! Didn't like sitting among the Montrose old dudes who I got impression eat in there waaaay too much -- like I was invading their turf! There was also some guy learning guitar which ruined eating there. I honestly don't know if he was "entertainment" in this super tiny place or what, but he sucked! Stopped by as a hot dog enthusiast who just happened to find themselves in Ossining and was not dissapointed! Had two dogs, forget the names but ones was a spin on a BLT and the other a dog w pastrami and kraut; both came on split too New England style rolls, both buttered and toasted, resilient enough to support the generous toppings. Both were fantastically delicious, the BLT dog was crisp, delicious, the dog itself snappy and beefy, while the other had the a great balance between the crisp, sour slaw and the melty cheese. The owner, who happened to be alone that day was kind and generous, and the next time I'm passing g this way I'll be sure to stop by to sample the rest of the menu. Would highly recommend! read more

This place is simply FRanKtastic!! I get the old faithful with ketchup instead of mustard. The hot dog itself is beefy with a great snap to it. The bun is soooo good, lobster roll style bun with a little buttery toast to it.... Yummmy. Disco fries are delish... just the right amount of gravy and cheese. The place itself has a very cool aesthetic to it, great graffiti style artwork ... even in the bathroom. The owner, Tara, is a sweetheart. She's very kind, generous and loves what she does. This place is amazing! The hot dogs come on lobster roll buns, and are delicious. Just tried the chicken wrap which was also so good and a great alternative if you do not want a hot dog. The owner is super friendly, accomodating, and is a fantastic chef. The restaurant is very clean and comfortable, and there are lids toys and games available. Stopped by when dropping off dry cleaning, getting a pedicure, and also grabbing a cupcake at Red Door Bakery - it was a very productive day in our little shopping center! Hot dogs are pretty great with lots of creative versions, but don't sleep on the Mac and Cheese - it's recognizable for the kiddies, with adult-level cheese quality! Her love of kids shows well. The secret isn't out or it would be crowded every day. The food. Who would think of an egg on a hot dog or a Ruben on a dog combo. I merged two reviews as a new person I wanted to thank some friends for helping me, she catered the meal. It all comes together at the end, she is a published celebrity/executive chef. She brought her talents to Montrose to be with her daughters. And to open a hot dog stand. She will cook anything with notice Red Snapper/Scallops/steak. Even made me home made potato chips on my first visit in because I asked. But her hot dogs you must eat to win her heart for her passion. The funny menu drew us in, and we were not disappointed! The hot dogs come on an amazing bun that withstands the weight of all the toppings and everything tasted fantastic (we tried several of the specialty dogs). We met the owner who was quite fun to talk with. I'm glad we stopped in and will be back the next time we are in the area. read more

i came here on friday, i was excited try the hot dogs, I kept hearing people say the food was great once they were done eating. so i thought my food would be good. it was not good at all. i ordered about 7 different hot dogs. there was barely any flavor and it was super greasy. the owner told me it would be about 17 minutes for my large order.. i walk in 20 minutes later. she has not even started to put the toppings on the hot dogs. she starts when I stood at the counter. while making the hot dogs she was yelling at a male staff for not knowing what goes on one of the hot dogs. it was very uncomfortable. after leaving with my food i realized three of my sides were missing that i paid for. I would never recommend this place or even come back. poor service. read more

A small dog shop that's unpretentious but has interesting dogs with good ingredients and a very friendly owner at the counter. Buns are high quality top-split and toasted and the dogs I believe are Hebrew National? Their signature dogs are pretty solid, especially the BLT dog and Diablo Dog (which is a little hyperbolic, but is still a great flavor combo of jalopenos, sautéed onions, and "chipotle" mayo). The a la carte options hint at some interesting possibilities (cotija, pickles, etc). The fries are nicely topped if you choose, but the fries themselves are underwhelming as a base layer at least for my preference. Two reasons I withhold five stars is it's a little pricey for my wallet--the interesting dogs are in the $8-$11 range--and they don't have a Chicago dog available, which is my default combo despite being a New Yorker. Overall it's a place I have and will continue to return to, and if they stocked the fixings to offer a proper Chicago (even built on a Hebrew) they'd earn the extra star even with the prices as they are--this is westchester and they have a decent sit down space so the rent must be crippling for a dog joint. read more
