Their sandwiches are toasted on this great panini like bread and you definitely leave feeling full. The staff are friendly and was patient while I looked over the menu. I ended up getting the brisket sandwich which came with a bag of chips (around $16). I love how this area is located in this quaint village of hastings on Hudson. The food was very tasty. The brisket sandwich had succulent meat that fell apart amid a bed of cheddar and a honey barbecue sauce. The portions to me are kinda big so I ate half for lunch and the other for dinner.

I skip the "Mike's Way" and go with my own style: a light touch of lettuce (otherwise they'll load it up!), onions, jalapeños, salt and pepper, and mayonnaise. Every now and then I'll add bacon, but honestly, it's perfect as is. I usually go for the regular or the giant--because it's just that good. My father-in-law is just as loyal to his order as I am to mine. He always goes for the giant Ham and Swiss with tomato, lettuce, and a drizzle of oil. Simple, consistent, and always done right. What really makes this location stand out, though, is the service. The team here brings a level of warmth and energy that you don't see everywhere. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with genuine smiles and conversation. They take the time to remember you, and that kind of personal connection goes a long way. Akin's energy greets me without missing a beat. Louis is always smiling, saying hello, and even asking how I'm doing--and sometimes how my father-in-law is doing when he's not with me. Joe keeps the team spirit going strong, while Randy and Natalia are always welcoming and engaging. Willow and Anthony are consistently putting in the work, and Luigi took the time to walk me through the different types of hams by name and always greets me with a smile. Even the team members whose names I don't know yet contribute to that same great atmosphere--and I appreciate them just as much. I've also noticed the owner making rounds, checking in with customers and creating a welcoming environment. It's a small touch that makes a big impact--and the occasional warm cookie doesn't hurt either. And I'll be honest--I make it a point to stop in on Wednesdays because of the double points (whether I order online or in-store). I like to save my points... lol! You can tell there's real pride here, both in the quality of the sandwiches and the relationships they build with their customers. There's something special about walking into an old-school Italian deli that still feels like home,…read moreand Bella Vista Deli is exactly that. One of the few authentic old-time Italian delis still standing in Yonkers, this place brings you right back the second you walk through the door. From the hot cooked foods and buffet, to the cold sandwiches and signature creations, everything here feels classic and genuine. They even sell fresh bread and slice it for you with the old-school bread slicing machine like the good old days. That alone tells you everything you need to know about this place. One of my absolute favorites is the "1 and 1" bacon, egg & cheese on a roll -- one slice of American cheese and one slice of fresh mozzarella. I get mine well done with salt and pepper and it hits every single time. Their "New York Style Chopped Cheese" on a club roll is also spot on. Another must-try is their signature sandwich called "Glen's Way" -- chicken salad with bacon mayo, lettuce, and tomato. Unreal. Add in the huge selection of juices, Italian cookies, chocolates, and specialty items, and you could spend time just looking around enjoying the atmosphere. But what really makes Bella Vista special is the people. Vinny, Anthony, and Jesus, and the rest of the crew are great guys who truly make you feel welcomed. The hospitality they've shown my family and me has always been top notch. It's the kind of neighborhood spot where the personalities are raw, the Yonkers accents are authentic, and underneath it all is genuine kindness and community. Old-school New York deli vibes are hard to find these days, but Bella Vista still keeps that spirit alive. Located right across from Sky Zone Trampoline Park on the strip. Highly recommend.
