We saw their video my friend sent it to knowing with food instantly we wanted to do it for lunch I was off we could go and we got the two sandwiches featured, which was the Cesar chicken sandwich and they're not so Philly cheesesteak the chicken Caesar was good, but the showstopper was not so Philly cheesesteak by nowhere means are they cheap but they don't skimp on the ingredients and it is a larger sandwich and if you're brave, you can have jalapeños in it Person running it. There was really nice on the staff made it to work so you did have to wait a little bit, but there is a cozy nook to sit in and their iced teas were delicious Joe's. I am super disappointed after my recent experience at the Melt Shop in Westchester Mall. What should have been a satisfying meal turned into a frustrating ordeal. I ordered three hamburgers, two fries, a small coffee shake, and a lemonade, which set me back a whopping $50. With expectations running high for a delicious meal, I was dismayed to discover that I was only given two burgers instead of three. Despite my best efforts to double-check my order at the counter, it seems the staff's communication was seriously lacking. The employee I spoke with acknowledged the mix-up, but his casual demeanor only added to my frustration, especially considering I had reiterated my order clearly. To make matters worse, the fries were heavily over-salted, turning what should have been a tasty side into an inedible mess. It was discouraging to have to share a burger with a family member as a result of this oversight, particularly since there were three of us in total. The fact that we were forced to split the meal amidst the high price only added insult to injury. As someone who expected to enjoy a nice outing, the experience left a sour taste in my mouth--both literally and figuratively. If you're in the Westchester area and thinking about visiting the Melt Shop, I strongly advise against it. Save your money and spend it elsewhere--this place is simply not worth the cost! Before Melt Shop came here, the only thing they were known for was grilled cheese (which they discontinued a favorite one of mine, but I digress). I have been here a few times since they opened but most recently I ordered off of the app. Note: they won't call out your name when your pick up time comes so make sure you alert them you are there. I made the mistake of waiting a while but my food was stored in a heated space. I ordered the wings and loaded tots, which were both very good. Buffalo sauce is hot and spicy and dare I say messy of course but great none the less. I will be back! read more

And it's hard to ever go wrong with crispy fried potato pillows adorned with Parmesan cheese and parsley. If you asked anyone about two years ago what they thought of the food court in The Westchester, you would probably get an overwhelming amount of negative feedback. It's true though, for such a high end mall they had one of the worst food courts I've seen. That all changed last year when the mall completed a major overhaul of their food court and introduced newer, more innovative food options with a fresh, modern aesthetic. I'm a fan - and one of their newest additions is Melt Shop. Since I'm on staycation and am not fully adhering to my normal diet, I decided to stop here for a bite while shopping. Melt Shop should not be confused with Melt Sandwich Shop which is also in White Plains on Mamaroneck Ave. While the latter seems to be independently run, the former has a number of other locations throughout the country (in NY it looks like they're mostly in Manhattan). Anyway, it looking at the menu they have a number of sandwiches (all warm) as well as salads, chicken tenders, shakes, and a variety of tater tots. Everything looked great, and ultimately I chose the turkey melt. The sandwich contained turkey with American and cheddar cheese, bacon, red cabbage slaw, tomato, and Russian dressing on multigrain. The sandwich was really tasty - kind of messy but that's expected. The flavors were there however which is what's important. I also decided to order a side of tots - these weren't anything special; I might have cheated myself since I didn't order them with cheese or "loaded", however I would have maybe put a little seasoning on them since they were just generic tots. Overall, I was impressed with Melt. While this isn't the type of food I would eat everyday, it's definitely great for a special treat and a highlight of The Westchester's new food court. read more

This was my first time trying Melt Shop. The sandwich is a genuine 10/10. Very crispy and not too spicy but a good amount. The sandwich is good and crispy even when it's cold! First let me point out that melt shop and melt sandwich shop are different places. I didn't know this until we were on our way and realized I had been looking at the wrong menu for half of the day deciding what I wanted to eat. The melt shop (this) is located in the mall food court. Anyways, this was one of the worst experiences I've had getting food in a while. There were at least 5 people working but we were only able to order food on the machines for some reason. Fine but just weird. We waited over 25 minutes for our food. They ran out of fries, coke, and the bun that my sandwich was supposed to be on. We asked for a cup of water and the guy laughed at us and said 'we don't do that'. He gave me a huge attitude when I asked for a fork. The cheese on our cheesy (not fries but tots) was cold and gross. And my chicken was semi burnt. The herbed tots were pretty good though! there Is absolutely zero customer service at this location. I recently ordered something where they forgot to put one of the items. I called, listen through the recordings, only for somebody to pick up and just say "hello ". He pretended that I called the wrong number, which is impossible because I just listened through the recordings prior to him picking up. And when I called again, they put the phone straight to voicemail. This has happened to me twice where if you call more than once they just go straight to voicemail. Just terrible. I went there and the kiosks were turned away from the line. I frankly had no idea about ordering from the kiosk. It took me about 10 attempts to get a staff member's attention. He said "you need to be ordering from the kiosk." I said "it's turned the wrong way" and he said "we're busy." They were actually busy talking to each other. Finally he turned the kiosk around. With some effort (and I am tech-literate) I placed the order, but the kiosk froze when I put my phone up to it to pay. Finally (after a total of about 15 minutes) and after they "tested" the kiosk a number of times, a female cashier manually took my order. I had the buffalo chicken melt. (Almost) everything about the sandwich was good: the fried chicken was super juicy; the bread was thick enough to handle the chicken and had the right amount of crisp. Unfortunately, I wasn't a fan of the buffalo chicken wing sauce. I found it too vinegar-y / acidic. It was definitely missing something. When paired with the strawberry lemonade, it didn't make things better - the lemonade ended up being too acidic as well. Bottom line - don't pair those two together. But with anything else, I assume the lemonade would be able to hold its own. read more

I recently visited the Melt Shop inside the mall. The melts are delicious. The are simple, made fresh, and toasted just right. They also offer some killer shakes like the Oreo Shake and the Nutella Shake. The Nutella shake has chunks of Nutella and it's soo good. If your stomach can handle it there's no reason why you shouldn't be ordering this shake :) The staff are also amazing, especially Aarti. My husband, daughter and I stoped by after a doctors appointment. We ordered and waited for at least 30 mins for our food. We got our food and sat down to eat And my husband didn't have the xtra pickles he ordered and my burger was literally a mess. it was half on The bun the chess was stuck to the backaging below it, the bottom burger patty was slanted as if someone stepped on half of it. I tagged along with a friend to a Yelp event here, and I left happily stuffed. We were able to sample three sandwiches - the classic, fried chicken, and truffle. Classic is exactly what you want in a simple grilled cheese with the right amount of cheese and well-grilled thick bread. The fried chicken sandwich was definitely a standout with crispy, moist chicken and crunchy slaw. The truffle melt was delicious, but personally, it was a little too much truffle. The arugula added a nice contrast to the sandwich though. The milkshakes we tried - cookies & cream and nutella - were equally delicious and obviously homemade. There were chunks of cookies in the first and creamy swirls in Nutella in the second. We also decided to overindulge with the loaded tots which were a lot to handle after everything else, but completely worth it. Tots were crispy and not greasy, and the jalapenos actually had heat to them. While we did have table service which isn't typical for the food court, I can say all the employees were friendly and helpful with any questions we had. This is definitely a big upgrade from the mall food courts I'm used to, and it'll certainly give you some energy to keep shopping (or walk a few laps to work off all the tasty cheese). read more

Melt Shop is superior sandwich establishment. I had the Grilled Chicken, BF had the French Onion Beef, and my daughter the Turkey Melt. All the meat and toppings were shockingly fresh and succulent. The breads, buttery soft and fresh. Food is reasonable, sodas are overpriced. Shakes (which we didn't have), but no coffee choices.
