Decided to stop by for lunch ordered a salad with chicken "avaca go" and was not impressed at all. It appeared to be canned chicken vs actual chicken breast with an aftertaste of tuna. Definitely not what I expected will most likely not return. It was a bummer because that's $15 down the drain.

My go to every time I don't meal prep. The Mexicana no jalapeños and no cheese for me... It already packs a spicy punch from the dressing, if you like your food to be on fire then allow them to keep the jalapeños in. Great portion and good price for a bowl packed full of yummy goodness! I have yet to try a different salad, this one has stolen my heart. You can order it as a bowl or a wrap and I've had the pleasure of having both. Amazing all around

Very good salad with quality ingredients.

Really Solid salads with quality ingredients. Best to-go salad place I've found in westchester so far! Ordered delivery - got three salads and all instructions were followed perfectly. I had a salad with romaine, cabbage, nuts, goat cheese, falafel, hummus, apples, and sweet potatoes, and I enjoyed every bite. Generous portions of each ingredient and overall. I will definitely order again.

I don't like boring salads so Chop & Go's menu caught my eye. There were several salads that sounded good and I ended up getting the Southwest Quinoa salad with the chipotle vinaigrette. It was delicious and actually had a nice kick to it. Many spicy dressings claim they are spicy but don't come through...this one did. I should have eaten it soon after ordering so that the chips would have stayed crunchy....eat it quickly so you can get the nice contrast that the crunch would give. It cost $15 which is pretty normal nowadays for a salad. It was filling and hit the spot since I had a salad craving.

Gotta sharpen those blades I guess?? Also pictured: my own cutlery bc I was not provided it.

As an initial matter, don't order this online EVER. I'm putting two stars because it is rather tasty when prepared the correct way. The problem is, through my experiences, the salad only ever gets chopped when you order in person. No matter time of day, month, or year, each and every time I've ordered this online - my salad comes not chopped. This is fine and I'm willing to accept that mistakes happen. However, there has not been a time where I ordered from this location online and it's been made correctly (min. six attempts). This leads me to believe there is a larger problem and/or lack of professional responsibility, as I gave up ordering online for about one year due to consistent issues...and it is clearly still happening. And this is fine BUT: the place is called Chop&Go. If I wanted a salad that was not chopped I'd either make my own or order from another establishment that doesn't charge upwards of $15. Without the Chop it's just "Go", and that's kinda how I feel. Don't get me wrong, the place is also fine about refunding messed up orders. It's just that I was willing to give up this money in exchange for food, and it sucks that I end up an hour later back where I've started and/or without a lunch break. It's also extremely frustrating to order online and not receive the utensils you've requested. Being at a job without a break room and having a delivery order show up with nothing to eat it with really just sucks. I guess the silver lining is without it being chopped, it's easier to pick up with my hands. In the future, just be more up front in the online menu and list disclaimers like "salad may not actually be chopped, correct, or contain items you ordered, including but not limited to utensils." It will curb my minimal expectations. I hate being a Karen but this has happened umpteen times now lol. Put it this way, if you order from "Brick Oven Pizza" one would expect the pizza to be prepared in a brick oven. I really truly keep ordering because I like the actual product, but I hate being made out like a fool thinking I'd get the same type of meal whether or not I'm physically present in the store. At least 4 stars when it's chopped! Barely 2 stars when it's online.

Oops! Ate it too fast to take a yummy photo. This place is awesome. Tons of choices and perfect to help me stay on a diet while traveling for work.

I love this place and I don't want to give it 2 stars, but I just picked up my salad and I'm disappointed. It's not filled to nearly overflowing like it usually is. I feel like they really skimped on ingredients this time around. For almost $17, I expect a lot more. Hope you take this to heart and redeem yourselves, Chop & Go!

I liked the new-wave graffiti style throughout the interior--it gives the place a modern, energetic feel that stands out from typical fast-food spots. It was pretty busy when I arrived, so there was a little bit of a wait, but it was completely understandable once I got my food. What really stood out to me was that everything came out hot. That may sound simple, but these days it's actually rare. Whether it's places like Burger King, McDonald's, or even fried chicken spots like Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, food often comes out lukewarm. Fried chicken especially needs to be hot, and Dave's absolutely delivered. My entire meal--from the mozzarella sticks to the fries--was fresh and hot. I ordered the mozzarella sticks with a little kick, and they were fire. You can adjust the spice level, and the seasoning gave them just enough heat without overpowering the flavor. The fries were hot and crispy, and they came with Dave's sauce, which was surprisingly good and paired really well with everything. Another nice surprise was the slice of bread tucked underneath the mozzarella sticks--simple, but it really hit the spot. The service was also excellent, and I want to give a special shout-out to Jo Jo and Isaiah working the front line. These two really held it down. Their energy is exactly what establishments like this need. They were engaging, positive, smiling, attentive, and in my opinion they kick off the entire experience from the moment you walk in. The manager also came over and greeted me, asking if I was being helped. I made sure to tell him that the front-line energy is the business, because when your team sets the tone like that, it makes a big difference in the overall experience. The only thing I wish they had on the menu would be bone-in chicken. Wings or traditional bone-in pieces would be amazing because that's usually my go-to. That said, the food I had was so good that it didn't take away from the overall experience. Overall, I was surprisingly impressed with the food, the service, and the atmosphere. If you're in the White Plains area and want hot, fresh food with real flavor and great service, Dave's Hot Chicken is definitely worth checking out.

Unfortunately, the food wasn't the best for us. I'm not a fan of spicy food, and we specifically requested no spice on everything we ordered. Even so, the food seemed heavily seasoned and still had more heat and seasoning than we expected. It was difficult to fully enjoy the meal because of that. Another issue was that the air conditioning was blasting very strongly inside the restaurant, making it uncomfortable to sit and eat for an extended period. Overall, great customer service, but the food and dining atmosphere weren't quite what we were hoping for.
