They were generous with the breaded chicken cutlet bites. In hindsight I should have only dressed half the salad so I could save the rest for dinner or next day lunch. The portion is big, too much for me at one time but I had dumped the dressing already on all the salad so no saving what I couldn't eat. BTW the dressing was very tasty, more barbecue than zesty. Considering the size and ingredients I think $13.45 is a fairly reasonable price. Once you tax on the delivery service we used, taxes, tip it was $18. I have been really impressed with the quality and service at this chopped salad provider. The first thing you will notice is how clean the food prep areas are, even during the lunch rush. I have gone with the suggested combos, the Cobb Chop, the Avocago, the Mexicana, the Chopped Asian, and the Chimichurri Steak. Most feature chicken, the Falafel-Osophy is their vegetarian offering and it is one of the best. The only one I might not care to repeat is the Chimichurri Steak, the flavor was great, the beef was a bit chewy. If you like spicy they have options. The portion size is good, and worth the price. I am starting to recognize the staff, which to me is a good thing, suggesting less turnover than a lot of places. There's a frequent flyer program that will get you a free salad after about 8-10 orders. There are four or five tables for four, and a counter with hightop chairs for solo diners. As an initial matter, don't order this online EVER. I'm putting two stars because it is rather tasty when prepared the correct way. The problem is, through my experiences, the salad only ever gets chopped when you order in person. No matter time of day, month, or year, each and every time I've ordered this online - my salad comes not chopped. This is fine and I'm willing to accept that mistakes happen. However, there has not been a time where I ordered from this location online and it's been made correctly (min. six attempts). This leads me to believe there is a larger problem and/or lack of professional responsibility, as I gave up ordering online for about one year due to consistent issues...and it is clearly still happening. And this is fine BUT: the place is called Chop&Go. If I wanted a salad that was not chopped I'd either make my own or order from another establishment that doesn't charge upwards of $15. Without the Chop it's just "Go", and that's kinda how I feel. Don't get me wrong, the place is also fine about refunding messed up orders. It's just that I was willing to give up this money in exchange for food, and it sucks that I end up an hour later back where I've started and/or without a lunch break. It's also extremely frustrating to order online and not receive the utensils you've requested. Being at a job without a break room and having a delivery order show up with nothing to eat it with really just sucks. I guess the silver lining is without it being chopped, it's easier to pick up with my hands. In the future, just be more up front in the online menu and list disclaimers like "salad may not actually be chopped, correct, or contain items you ordered, including but not limited to utensils." It will curb my minimal expectations. I hate being a Karen but this has happened umpteen times now lol. Put it this way, if you order from "Brick Oven Pizza" one would expect the pizza to be prepared in a brick oven. I really truly keep ordering because I like the actual product, but I hate being made out like a fool thinking I'd get the same type of meal whether or not I'm physically present in the store. I've passed Chop & Go multiple times always keeping it in the back of my mind. Today I found myself looking for some lunch and decided to try them out. As the name suggests, Chop & Go serves....*wait for it*...chopped salads! The majority of the menu is green or grain-based salads as well as a few wraps; they also have a small beverage selection. For a place that does mainly to-go orders, the space is pretty large, its laid out kind of like a Subway with the production area back further to the right and some seating towards the front. The menu had some pre-selected salad combos, but you can also make your own. I wasn't in the mood to be creative so I chose one of theirs - the Mai Thai. The salad itself contained baby arugula, mesclun mix, bean sprouts, basil, cilantro, shredded cabbage, cucumbers, spicy sunflower seeds, grilled chicken and a spicy cashew dressing. The production is arranged in stages; after telling the first staff member what I wanted, he packed this deep bowl with all the components. It was then passed to another employee who dumped the contents on the counter and began chopping. Once I let him know the chop was good, he confirmed the dressing and started adding until I told him when. Lastly, he mixed and repacked the salad into the bowl. When you first order they give you a slip with your selection so all you need to do is give it to the cashier when you're ready to pay. The salad was good - better than I expected actually. All the flavors were there and the spicy cashew dressing gave it a nice kick. I'm so glad I finally tried this place - I'll definitely be back. read more

Also the place is super, super clean. Love it! 11/8 update: I used to be queen of this place but recently had an experience that completely turned me off. The guy "chopping" my salad had a bracelet on and as he was putting the salad in the plastic bowl his bracelet got in there because his glove didn't completely cover it. This is nothing against the kid because it's not his fault. Management should tell them to not wear bracelets or put on bigger gloves. It was just super gross that it was touching the lettuce. Every time I go my order is 13 dollars. Last time I went I was waiting forever for my food and my total came out to be 16+ dollars. I corrected this immediately and no one was understanding anything I was saying... they kept trying to tell ME I was wrong as if I don't go there all the time and get the same order with 0 toppings or anything.
