If subway had a rich, successful, and more attractive older brother, this would be it. Seriously, this place is fantastic. The atmosphere is nice and casual, and everything here looks fresh. However, the two toppings rule for a small salad is kinda skimpy. Still, I was very impressed and look forward to returning!

Looks Aren't Everything: (Turmeric/Ginger) They Look Like The Real Thing, But They're Mixed W/Other Ingredients?????

With my kitchen in demolition mode, walking sideways and not even making my fresh pressed juices in the a.m., I've been resorting to already-prepared juices from Pressed Juicery. The problem is- PJ's green juices only have a "hint" of ginger or Turmeric- and wanted more of a punch by getting shots here to add them to the juice. Place is grand with lots of seating. Noticed a loaded Salad station, veggie add-ons (maybe protein add-ons too) and Juice Bar on right- but didn't see Ginger or Turmeric shots until I asked one of the guys. Got one of each plus a "Green Monster" fresh pressed juice and felt all those nutrients going directly to my bloodstream. There's a fair share of calorie-conscious foods for health kick, diet, or detox. Even if you aren't on a health regimen, the menu sounds nice. Ginger shot was exactly that. But 'Turmeric' as listed in front of the shot label didn't taste like it. What's more, tasted extremely diluted then noticed lemon and ginger on the ingredient list¯\_(ツ)_/¯. This particular brand lacks strength and doesn't pack a punch for me whatsoever. But aside from that, Greenlife is an interesting powerhouse plus the guys are chill and have the right sense of humor.

We are so happy to find a place with great ginger and wheat grass shots! I can't wait to try the bowls next visit, they look really great. My friend from Manhattan finally found a place here in Westchester that has fresh pressed wheat grass. We met the owner's dad and heard a bit about his son's vision for the restaurant.

Downtown Mamaroneck has a bunch of solid choices for food and this is one of them. The cowboy chow salad with salmon was what my coworker always has. Looked awesome. The kalefornia caesar salad with avocado was my go to and it was fresh and perfectly put together. Salads are simple but they are hard to do right. It wasn't overdressed and you can taste each ingredient. This place is busy but the line moves unless you order something that needs to be cooked. If you want salmon it takes a while. I will be back here! Perfect lunch spot and a good portion for the price.

An $8 drink with only three all natural ingredients (supposedly). Side note: the chicken wrap I had cost a tad less.

Stopped by for lunch today and dropped exactly $25.00 (w. 15% tip included) for a Sweet Chick wrap, sweet potato fries, and a "Refresh" juice (or whatever you want to call it). Initial reaction was that it's a lot of $$ for a simple meal. The wrap is fairly priced at $7.75 but the $4.40 fries and $8.00 are a little too much IMHO...especially the drink. Positives: - Food tasted good and felt healthy - Portions are pretty good but not grossly huge - Quality ingredients - Unique combinations of ingredients - Attractive/neat presentation of food - Clean and amply spacioius dining area - Food made to order and didn't take too long Negatives: - Pricing of some items - Street parking can be a little tight during peak hours All in all, I was happy with my food and am now a little wiser in what to order (and to not order). I'll be back soon enough as it's a good alternative to the typical delis, sushi spots, and pizzerias that litter this area. Recommend you check out their menu via the link on Yelp and get acclimated with what's available & the pricing before you walk in.

Great spot if you're trying to eat healthier. Lots of menu options including wraps, salads, bowls, and smoothies. Great choice for vegetarians. Gluten-free options also available. Very friendly staff at the counter and moving around the dining room checking on customers. I had the hummus and avocado wrap. Nice spicy and light.

Okay so it's not that often that I actually decided to give five stars because I'm just a jackass like that. Here's why I like green life. if you look at places in the vicinity that offer salad by bulk 10th to be overpriced however you can get a very legitimately good salad for a very effective cost at Green Life. The quality is always fresh the food is always clean and I look forward to every bite that I get from this place. I'm not a big fan of some of the smoothies just because they lack the fruitiness that I'm looking for but the juices oh my God... Yes they're expensive but they're worth every cent. My favorite is the refresh. On a random note I'm also a big fan of the Chipotle main I don't know if they make it themselves but it's really good and it definitely adds a lot of flavor to anything you purchase. So in a climate of bacon on everything and really poor nutrition... Green life gives a little bit of an alternative at a good cost.

The food here was very bland. Nothing tasted good to be honest getting it from the freezer section of any grocery store would be better.

The menu has some classics as well as twists on standard brunch dishes. I loved my avocado toast, which had some unusual texture that made it very memorable. I also want to preface this by saying that I think this place is a solid choice and it is not a bad place to grab a bite or a drink. I have been a couple of times now. While I would go back again, I wouldn't go out of my way to go there. The ambience is good. It's a nice space and it does have space for both larger and smaller groups. The wait staff is also very nice and I have zero issue with them. The food is good enough, although not spectacular. They are definitely going for a high end bar/brunch/dinner spot. A step up from a local pub, a little bit more of a shine/elegance to them. The vibe is actually great for a larger group. The most recent time we went, our table got steak nachos, a burger, the sweet potato and rice bowl (with shrimp added), and a steak sandwich. The steak sandwich was reportedly really good (I didn't try it) and looked nice. The nachos were fine, not great. Didn't feel like there was enough cheese, but the steak on it was actually really nice. The rice bowl was really not exciting. There was nothing elevated or nuanced about it. The shrimp was the best part and was beautifully cooked and seasoned, but that was an add on and I would have been disappointed with it if not for the addition of the shrimp (which then made the bowl over $25). We ordered the burger medium rare, and it came very well done. To be fair, when we mentioned it to the server, she took it off of the bill, which we appreciated. Overall, I would say the food is hit or miss. Most of our proteins were cooked very nicely and with good flavor, but the other parts of the meal were just fine, not great. The price point is such that I expect a little more for what I am paying. That being said, the staff is nice and the ambience is good, so for a quick and easy meal, it's worth it if you are in the area.

She had suggested Marlowe as she had heard good things about it - I had never been (or heard) of this spot before so I thought it was the perfect opportunity to check out a new spot and catch up, so off we went. Marlowe is located off Mamaroneck Ave, in a semi-isolated area which is on-brand for a brewery. The space isn't too large - it's rectangular-shaped with a lot of light pouring in and a variety of seating available. They did the place up nicely - it definitely gives off brewery vibes with tasteful decor such as hanging string lights and plants. I am admittedly not a big beer drinker, so I opted to a cocktail. I had one of the mule selections which was very good. It almost goes without saying when we go out, but we also had some food. They have a good selection of bar-esque fare like sandwiches, burgers, apps, etc. I also noticed they had a selection of tacos so I went with those. We were able to mix and match so I went with a shrimp and a chicken. Both were good - generous with the fillings with accents that really complemented the flavor of the protein. The chips that came on the side were house made/kettle style and were good as well. We also ordered some eggplant chips to share - I wasn't a big fan of these. They were too thick and kinda greasy - I've had fried eggplant chips at other places which do them better. Service was great - the bartenders were really friendly and we got some great insight into the history of the place. Overall, I had a great time at Marlowe - it was wonderful catching up with a friend, and the overall experience memorable (even for a sporadic beer drinker like me). If I found myself back here I wouldn't be disappointed.

Two of the things I like about breweries nowadays is that there's (usually) a good food+cocktail…read moremenu- and you don't even need to drink beer. I either read about Marlowe's on Hoyt Ave in Mamaroneck in my Westchester Magazine while living in White Plains or it was somehow swirling on Yelp. In any case, the food caught my attention and mayyyybe their only 2 cocktail offerings. Plus it was wonderful coming to Westchester after living in the county for 22 years and meeting my friend Jason M. over laughs, life and of course, gossip. With two entrances leading up to their sit down area and large bar, we decided on hi-tops to somehow get a nice scope of Marlowe's- especially an eye-catching floral black and white wall on one side. The food menu is tempting and fierce and when the manager(?) repeatedly told us the cook makes tasty food- that was good sign. The Eggplant chips with a hot honey drizzle my friend and I shared were on thick side- but good. Somehow, I felt these would be on the thin side like the ones he introduced me to at Polpettina in Eastchester. My Portabella taco with corn, cauliflower+other veg was delicious. So was my shrimp taco with red cabbage, cilantro+other veg. Being that I'm not a fan of creamy sauces on some foods, I didn't even mind the crema on each of my tacos. Needless to say, both my tacos were filled to the brim with substance. My only qualm is that one tortilla was used and didn't hold much. Because of the single ply, I was in a bit of a mess- so a second tortilla would be perfect for added strength. Service was fantastic though. Since my friend and I aren't beer drinkers, there was no pressure to drink it.
