Amazing amazing amazing. Words do not give this review justice. Came here to celebrate my pre-birthday and the food was DELICIOUS. The service was amazing. The staff made us feel at home and the vibes were immaculate. We had such a great experience here. We will definitely be coming back. Please go here!!!! You will not regret it.

Drove up to Scarsdale for a friend's birthday - he is GF and was craving Mexican so we came across this restaurant! We walked in and were seated shortly after! The place is small itself but cozy. A few minutes after we sat, one of the waiters dropped a glass and it cracked all over the floor / table we were sitting at. It was quickly cleaned up, only to find more & more pieces under our feet. I sadly came straight from work & was in open toed heels which made me even more upset! My friend & I cleaned up some remainders and luckily the table next to us checked in & helped. The waiters didn't really seem to care much, the host made a joke about our appetizer coming soon to make up for it, I assumed it'd be on the house or something would be offered in order to accommodate the event that just occurred; however it was like nothing had happened. The nachos were okay - thought it was weird to be charged extra for guac that was initiated by the waiter. The main courses were ok... a bit flavorless .. my friend got the salmon and I ordered fajitas - it was bland to say the least but I was hangry from work & tried to pick the protein out. Prices are higher than your typical Mexican restaurant but the quality is very average. All in all, I probably would not come here again.

Not sure what to think of this place. I was expecting high prices because of its location, but the food misses the mark. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The indoor space is nice and looks like they have outdoor seating for warmer weather. We ordered yuca fries, mahi mahi tacos, quesadillas and a fajita (chicken and shrimp). The fajita was good, big portion and plenty of veggies. The tacos had no flavor, same for quesadilla. The yuca fries were ok, the sauce is what had the flavor. The place dubs itself as Mediterranean-Mexican. Didnt try any of the medi dishes, but i would say the Mexican dishes are more tex-mex. Their websites states that the food is locally source, wild caught fish, etc... thats a big plus. However, for $6 per taco I expect more from my food.

This Med-Mex (Mediterranean/Mexican) place misses the mark when it comes to Mediterranean. This place is 100% Mexican. The only Mediterranean items would be the octopus. I think this place would do much better as 100% Mexican. All the happy hours are Mexican (Margarita Monday, taco Tuesday, sangria Wednesdays). The tacos are good but could be better. The meat in the tacos could be cut in bigger pieces in order to hold more flavor. I thought the carne asada tacos were cut too small which let all the juices flow out of the meat. 3/5 The chimichurri skirt steak was a 3 but could have been a 4 if they let their meat rest and cut the steak much later. The steak was missing the juices which spilled out onto the plate because the meat didn't rest like it's supposed to. Our server was fabulous. Service 5/5 Atmosphere 3/5 Food 3/5

Loved it here! I was in the area and was looking for a new dinner spot. We wanted to try some different tacos. I was pleasantly surprised by PopoJito's. I had hot tea and the calamari and short rib tacos. We also ordered the guacamole. Everything we ordered was very fresh and flavorful. The restaurant was pretty quiet; we went on a holiday. Our server was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely come back to try more of their tacos!

Great spot for a weekend lunch. There are some spots outside on the sidewalk, and that was delightful for me and my family. The menu is surprisingly large! It was hard to choose. I ended up getting a salad, which was fresh but seemed a little heavy on the lettuce vs. mixings. I greatly appreciated the kid menu, which was reasonably priced and fulfilling. Next time, I'll definitely snag a drink. The drink menu was ample and appealing. Fast service and nice waiters!

I have gotten delivery before which was delicious but decided to go dine in this time around. It was one of the best meals I've had in a long time. It was so nice to have a full menu to pick from that is gluten free, even dessert options. The mozzarella sticks were some of the best mozzarella sticks I've ever had, super fresh & flavorful, also really large. 10/10 cheese pulls. The beef empanadas were also super yummy and had a nice aioli sauce to dip them in. I opted for a burrito for the main and got the cookie skillet for dessert, both were immaculate. I will be dreaming about this meal and cannot wait to return.

This is a me simple test. Whenever I go to a restaurant, I always ask myself, "Would I return to this establishment?" The answer to PopoJito is that I would definitely comeback. The flavors to all the entrees were awesome. The food was fresh. This is gluten free restaurant. And I have to say that any flour dishes were not missing. We came for my daughter's birthday and her diet must be gluten free. The plates were so tasty, that you wouldn't even notice that it was flour free. Kudos!!!

This place is fantastic! From the service, to the food options, to the drinks options, to the ambiance -- 10/10 surely recommend. I had a girls lunch with friends, and we all enjoyed our selves. My favorite was the guava margarita! Delish! Also has outdoor seating for the warm weather approaching.

I hadn't had mediterranean in a while and I'm not head over heels for the place near me so I wanted to try something new. This place seemed decent enough. I ordered a greek salad and hummus with pita. There were varying gyros, another greek salad with chicken, some platters including the falafel platter that GF orderd. My salad was wonderful. The ingredients were fresh and that dressing was lovely. It was a salad I actually enjoyed instead of regretting the entire time I glared at my coworkers who ordered real shit with envy. The hummus was also very creamy, authentic hummus with a slightly different taste than I am used to but head and shoulders above any store bought bullshit. Everyone else said good shit about their food. I tried one of GF's falafel from her platter and it was really good. My only complaint is for $24 or whatever it is, i would expect more than a few falafel balls and one side. Kinda a rip off. But everything tasted really, really good.

Two days before the date I received yet another email confirming and advising that it was non-cancellable. Two hours after the last confirmation I received a call from Danny saying that they had to cancel the reservation. He explained that there was also an event scheduled that night and the event needed more space. He said that they had to cancel all reservations. I told Danny that was unacceptable in that I had a non-cancellable reservation and that the proper and ethical approach would have been to tell the people who had asked for more space, no in that the other areas had been booked with non-cancellable reservations. He offered to move the reservation to Friday and provide free wine. I said no, in that isn't my wife's birthday. I asked who made this decision, and he said the chef. I asked him to have the chef call me. Hadn't heard anything in 90 minutes, so I just sent a text saying better to cancel so I could make another reservation. They did refund my money. However, I feel this is unethical behavior on the part of the restaurant, and breach of the contract made. Truly disappointing behavior.

They're only a 15 minute drive away, so it's pretty convenient, especially when we don't want conventional fast food. We ordered some pita sandos and headed out to pick them up. When we arrived, there were still people at table, enjoying their meals. It's not very intuitive, where you should stand when you enter. You have to basically walk past people eating dinner at tables, in order to get your pick up order. They really should set something up at the front of the restaurant. We were a bit confused, so we waited by the front, where there are stacks of menus. One of the staff walked towards us and he looked annoyed. I definitely did not like the way he was looking or speaking to us. It was definitely a complete 180° from the lady time we visited. The same employer was much nicer at that previous time. I told him we were picking up an order and gave my name. He had us walk towards the kitchen area, we're standing right by people eating at tables. The setup is really bad. We paid and got our food, and headed home. The pita sandos were good but they kind of overdo it with the tzatziki. I would probably have them put it on the side. All of them were drenched in it. I had the shrimp, hubby had their gyro, and my son had their pork version. We got our Little, their Hercules burger from the kids menu. It's bifteka on pita, with lettuce and tomato, and fried, sliced potatoes on the side. She liked it and I rated a bit. It was very flavorful but messy to eat. Aside from weird in-person interaction, the woman that took our initial order was nice on the phone, the food tasted good, and I would probably order again, but likely not ever dine in.
