Recently discovered Tepe's Kitchen at the White Plains farmers market where I bought some empanadas--which were delicious. Several days later I placed an order for their blackened Baja fish tacos, and a Rica Cemita. Both items were tasty and a good value. The container with the Rica Cemita + French fries weighed 2 pounds (it was so hefty I was curious and I weighed it!). As delicious as it was, my only complaint is that adobo pork was not available the day I placed my order. Good food and good value, and the menu has a nice variety of delicious things to try next. Came here during a wing walk. It's a chill low key spot perfect for hanging out casually. their wing flavors step outside the box. The Dark Roast wings got this deep, savory richness that tastes just like Mexican mole. If you're into that "sweet meets heat" thing, the Blueberry Chipotle wings got real flavor of the berries upfront, followed by a nice smoky kick from the chipotle that isn't too overwhelming. Everything comes out perfectly crispy, and the mix of creative sauces with their authentic Mexican roots makes it way more interesting than your average wing joint. read more

Stopped by when I found myself at White Plains and had a great lunch! They had a really interesting menu with tons of delicious-sounding sandwiches, burgers and tacos but I settled on chorizo sopes. The sopes were hot, fresh and a great portion for $14. The tables were clean and the atmosphere was bright and lively for a small hole in the wall. Would love to go here again to try more items. read more

Lime wiing with fries is delicious, i've had it a few times cant belueve im just letting you guys know.

The food was decent, but definitely not worth the price. Legitimately everything is over priced for a meals that take 5/10 minutes to make (pretty sure a majority of their products are frozen and then deep fried so I'm confused what's going on here....) Portions were smaller than expected, and the taste didn't justify the cost. I mean why in the world are all the drinks $5+? Including water? (please explain) Why are Mozzarella sticks $15? . My fiancé recommended this place a couple of weeks ago since he got the Cuban monster no jalapeño for lunch a few days before. So had him get me Two boys sandwiches In a wrap not the sandwich. no lettuce, add tomato add onion and he got his usual order. It was great the first time I had it but when he came home from work the last we got it with the same order only difference was I got a side of extra chipotle sauce. His was fine as he was supposed to be but mine was missing the avocado that normally comes in it.it was also lacking the bacon, tomato and onion. It was ok that day since it was missing two ingredients and I believe 2$ more maybe for the extra side of sauce I requested because the price was different from the first time he got it for me. The first time he got it for me was definitely better but I would definitely try more things and maybe get this for a third time and have him make sure that everything is in it this time since it is by his job and we live 20-30 minutes away. read more

Basing my review on the taco salad but it's so good that it deserves its own review. It's such a massive salad, with such a great portion and fresh ingredients. Wow! Wow and wow! Stopped by here during a wings tasting week in White Plains. We sampled wings from a number of places in White Plains that participated in this event....Clear winner in my book -- Tepe's Kitchen! These lime wings were insane! Great flavor, perfectly cooked...tender and crispy. They were also nice enough to offer a sample of their Thai peanut sauce on fries and a chicken nugget...amazing! Awesome spot for great tasting food. Awesome spread of food. The food us similar to Alex Lounge Bar and Grill. Family owned businesses with great employees and owners. Many favorites here to choose from. I always enjoy the wings! Get them tossed with fries. Of the wings, my favorites are the Tepes lime, honey bbq and the peanut thai (sauce mase with receese. So good! The Cemita sandwich is massive and so good. The mozzerella sticks are a nice addition as well to any order. They serve different types of mexican foods as well. Highly recommend.! read more

Finding good Mexican food in White Plains is tough, but Tepe's is a total game-changer! This place is awesome! If you like pork chop, try their "Down to the Bone" pork chop. Tacos are amazing too. Really everything is good- I've tried most things. Additionally, the staff is really friendly, and the prices are reasonable. If you're craving authentic Mexican, this is the spot. The place is closed. The site says it's open, but it's not. I called numerous times and the line was dead. I found out it was closed when I went there and tried to open the door. Not sure if they are closed for business or closed for the day, but there were no sign stating the same. read more

The food was very delicious and the delivery was quick but they forgot the French fries I ordered otherwise I would've given five stars.

I had the lime wings and Tepe's lime fries. Both were the best I've tasted. That's saying a lot. Can't wait to try more items.

I was walking down East Post Rd in White Plains looking for something different and reasonably priced. I was standing outside of this newly open spot called Tepe"s Kitchen reading the menu. This very nice gentleman came out side to started talking about this new spot and where the chef used to work. Since I was very familair with one of the places I stopped in to see what they were serving. How the conversation went to pork, I dont remember but this gentalman gave me a piece of the this pork that was marinated in Mexican spices and onions. You could not of made me believe that someone's abuela was in the back of the kitchen making this delicious pork. I ordered the Chipotle Bowl with that scrumptious pork and a host of others things in the bowl like, avcoado, rice and beans, lettuce and tomatoes. A Chipotle sauce was drizzled on it to add the final touches. They have many other delicious dises to choose from and they are also open for breakfast. The most important thiing is that they deliver. Check this place out and you will not be sorry. Good Food, great prices and the portions are large. read more

The food was ok. I had the wings which this place known for . It's was ok it was crunchy it lack in flavor it was really oily the sauce pretty much was on the plate then on the meat. All I taste was garlic and oil no salt. The wait was a little long. 10 dollars it was not worth the money read more

Most of the things I ordered from here where pretty good (breakfast items, chicken/steak bowls). The hot chocolate is amazing. Unfortunately their burrito was horrible. they always get the orders wrong and are overpriced , they charged me for items that werent even put in my the bag. I had chicken chewy pieces in my pupusas it was gross . The staff seems too only wanna serve there own kind , the cheff and the lady that said her name is " janelle " or the only spanish lady was talking about me in spanish and made me feel unwelcomed and was unkind i spent so much money here and always got the wrong items and when i complained they were so disrespectful like why would the cheff and the register women be in my business is beyond me and then have the nerve too talk about me in there languge but i partially understood and it was sad how workers can ruin someones business . I would go somewhere else like pupusas in yonkers or portchester especially if youre gonna overcharge for food have a appropriate staff that wouldnt run customers away with there nasty weird attitudes ! read more
