I was surprised when there were at least 10 empty tables and no one at the host stand. The party of two in front of us ended up leaving when they were told the wait for 2 was 30 minutes. We decided to wait the 30 minutes, and the party of two who came in after us was told the wait was only 10 minutes. We were seated shortly after. On the menu, there's a note that the Dutch baby takes a longer time to prepare but it came out at the same time as our other food. I was again unpleasantly surprised--the speed came at the price of quality. You can see how fluffy the Dutch baby was in the pic from 12 years ago compared to today's, where it was more of a crepe than a bread "pudding". Still tasted decent after you add the lemon and powdered sugar that they give on the side, but texture was definitely lacking. The side pancakes with our other dishes were a tad salty. We did notice managers walking around, so at least management is aware that there's something they're messing up. Hopefully they figure it out because this used to be a favorite.

I also got a side of the vegan bacon. It was rubbery and tough to chew. Would not recommend. My husband enjoyed the breakfast burrito. We also shared the buffalo cauliflower. The cauliflower pieces were well coated in buffalo sauce and very flavorful. I also got the Don't Kale Me juice. It was tangy, citrusy, and refreshing. The Deep Roots smoothie was also quite tasty. They have free self-serve water and the employees were quick to wipe down tables so they were clean for the next party. Looking forward to coming again!

Our server was friendly and attentive. The other members of staff would also check in as they passed by. My boyfriend enjoyed the PB & J Latte along with the creole shrimp Benedict. He said it was seasoned well, right level of spice, stated the eggs were poached perfectly, and really enjoyed how moist the cornbread was. I indulged with the "Tipsy Palmer" which is an Arnold Palmer with Bourbon in it. To be honest, there wasn't much of a bourbon taste to it, if any at all, but for a summer brunch drink, it was refreshing. For my entree, I chose the chicken Caesar sliders. To be honest, I was a bit disappointed as the brioche buns seemed a little on the stale/stiff side. The homemade caesar dressing was delicious, but they only coated the lettuce in it which resulted in a bit of a dry slider. I believe the sliders would benefit from a bit of the dressing at least on the bottom of the bun. I asked for (and received) a side of the dressing to bring home to dress up my remaining sliders. Lastly, and I know this is extremely minor, but the silverware was placed incorrectly (knife and fork reversed with the knife edge in the wrong direction). Again, I am WELL AWARE this is minor, but for me, sometimes the minor details are the things that stand out. Overall, a wonderful experience and will try them again at a later date.

So definitely go with the TBB! We also tried the greek yogurt with homemade granola which my BF thought was really good! Overall experience was great!
