Started following them on instagram and the pictures of the food always look really good. So when we saw that they were in the hood this weekend, we had to go over to try it! We ordered the TBB - which was amazing! It was really good and definitely will go back to order it again! We also had the sausage, egg and cheese to try, but it was nothing compared to the TBB. So definitely go with the TBB! We also tried the greek yogurt with homemade granola which my BF thought was really good! Overall experience was great! read more

Have to say, I really like the concept of getting my brunch from a truck. Obviously I prefer this in the warm weather :) As a matter of fact, I really don't even know whether they are open in the winter or fall or not.. I've gone a few times when the hours have been listed as "open" on Yelp but they weren't. I may need to start following them on Twitter? The sandwiches are great--I think the sauce is a big reason. Super cute that they come in printed paper. I also like that they have cold brew. read more

This is my first food truck in Stamford and I am so HAPPY! So the truck is very nice; it looks like a tiny establishment. The cashier was extremely hospitable and professional. I didn't know what to order and she gave me great suggestions and mentioned her best seller. So I chose the TBB; its a chicken sausage egg and cheese with lettuce tomato with spice mayo on a sweet Portuguese muffin (you can choose bacon). It tasted fresh and AMAZING!!! Cooked well and fast. The preparation only took about 7 minutes. Service was very fast and satisfying. It cost close to 9 dollars because of tax but advertised at 8 dollars. But its so worth the taste not so much the price point. They do take card so that's a plus ESPECIALLY for food cart. PLEASE MAKE A TRIP TO NEW YORK!! read more

While searching on Yelp for a good brunch spot in Stamford, I stumbled across The Brunch Box. Since this is a *food truck,* you can park on the streets nearby. Upon arriving there, it's quite easy to see why this place is rated 5 stars- the employees there are super friendly and the food is great! I was one the only one in line when I got there around 11am on a Saturday and it was super windy so the owner asked if I wanted to wait inside the truck for a little while the food was being cooked. I ordered the TBB and cold brew to go and it was ready within 5-10 minutes. The TBB is just an bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich with an added hashbrown, but it's a delicious sandwich! The bread they used was super soft which was a plus for me. This is definitely the place to go for a quick breakfast pick-me-up and I will definitely be coming back! read more

Came here for brunch today and tried the world renowned TBB and really liked it! Great menu selection and the sandwich was large: $8 seemed maybe a bit overpriced but was willing to pay it after reading rave reviews. Live near where they park so been dying to try them. I miss the Brunch Box everyday of my life!! Only downside of working from home = no Brunch Box They consistently catered breakfast, lunch, and happy hours at my job and EVERYTHING they made was amazing. They have endless options for all types of food sensitivities/restrictions and they're all delicious! All of their breakfast sandwiches are so good and the hash smash is my weakness! The cooks are phenomenal and I hope they open a restaurant one day! read more

After I moved to Harbor Point, Stamford. I noticed this brunch truck standing across my apartment every weekend. And finally today was the day! There were two staffs very friendly in the manner asked me if this is my first time trying it here, introduced three suggestions that are popular; TBB, Hash smash, and Pierogies. I ordered all with fresh mint lemonade. Everything was good especially TBB, different taste, never had anything like this before. The total came out to $31, it wasn't cheap for truck food but it was worth it! Definitely will go back again! read more

I have the luxury, or perhaps the curse, of living right above where The Brunch Box lives during the week. The temptation to visit every weekend is very strong, but so far have only given in once. I really should head back soon. I picked up a couple of their signature sandwiches, the "TBB," which is bacon, egg, cheese, lettuce, tomato and hashbrowns with some sriracha mayo. It was highly delicious. The staff is friendly and it was served up quickly, so we able to just take it back to our apartment to enjoy. Definitely hit these guys up if you're in the area where they're serving food! read more

We went there for the first time last week. The atmosphere was so wonderful. The music and gorgeous weather reminded me of California. We tried the TBB and their organic lemonade. It's def a bit pricy as many reviews suggested but the portion is decent. I thought the sandwich was really delicious but it wasn't out of the world. The highlight was the bun - SO soft. The bread and meat ratio was great. While the bun was soft, the bacon and hash brown added a crispy texture. Awesome balance. They should sell the bun on the side. I'd buy some. Lemonade is not bad. Not horrible but not worth saying it was good. First time there and we ordered two different types of sandwiches to test it out. Both were a disaster. The huevos rancheros was made with kraft singles (complete garbage) and the sandwich is $10.00 (with a $2.00 avocado charge). Not to mention the bread is a white egg McMuffin style thing from McDonald's. The caprese sandwich was better but when you ask for avocado, you're getting an avocado paste that is pre packaged and then smeared on your sandwich right out of a freezer. My sandwich had three different temperatures going for it. Frozen and warm partially toasted bread. My stomach felt unsatisfied and my wallet ill spent. Maybe we caught them at a bad time. Fresh and tasty all American burger and breakfast sandwich. The brunch box is a food truck which moves around certain locations in Stamford CT. I don't give out many five star reviews but this place is a gem! I've been passing it on weekdays and my curiosity finally got the best of me so I came to try it out. My three words to describe it would be fresh, delicious, and different. Service is awesome, the two people working are so polite, give suggestions and are willing to customize orders- they also remember your name! I got the TBB which is their most popular sandwich but I will definitely be back to try more of the menu because everything looks great! My sandwich was hot, bread was soft, eggs were good quality (I typically only eat organic free range- not sure what theirs were but they seemed to be high quality), and most importantly the sandwich was easy to eat and not super messy. For being a food truck they have quite a few options and everything is so fresh. They also don't have a boring or plain menu, everything is pretty unique. Their cold brew is also great! I live 5 minutes away via car but if I lived in the buildings right next to it I would certainly be there every weekend! Will definitely be back and a new regular customer. Best breakfast/brunch around. Usually I find them parked outside of the apartments down by Fairway and am sure to get to their window once a week. My favorite is their TBB - comes out perfect overtime and totally fills you up. Great flavorful bacon, a really cool giant english muffin and a perfectly cooked egg with ripe lettuce and tomato every time. Don't forget the spicy mayo - love it! Like it hot? Get it like I do with Chalula's. The burger is also excellent - something I didn't expect from a food truck specializing in brunch/breakfast items. Always juicy and prepared perfectly. Try to get to the truck early as late afternoon crowds can grow quickly - and you need to try the lemonade! read more

I'm new to the Stamford area, originally from Westchester NY. Everyone in my building raves about The Brunch Box. I had my first experience this past weekend and.... I was blown away! They take the breakfast sandwich to a new level! The lovely girl named Jamie strongly recommend the TBB Sandwich as a favorite. It was everything she said it was. They are a little on the pricy side but, they give you a great product and atmosphere, from the lovely flowers to the great tunes playing. Wishing the Brunch Box much success. The Brunch Box is a dream come true. They park outside of my office twice a week which is dangerous as is, but now they are also catering some of our lunches/breakfasts which has been amazing. The TBB sandwich is ALWAYS a good option, and Jimmy will make it without cheese for those who are lactose intolerant like yours truly ;). Today I decided to try something different and had the black bean burger bowl which was amazing. It is a veggie burger over baby kale topped with avocado,pico de gallo, spicy mayo, and pickled jalapenos. I usually don't go for all veggie options but was heaven. Jimmy and the rest of the Brunch Box staff are always friendly and smiling. I've only had good experiences every time I order from them or when they're in my office. I had been ever so curious about Brunch Box when I first started seeing it around town. I finally got the opportunity to go a few weeks ago and a few more times since and I must say that I am absolutely in love with this place. The menu is simple and delicious and vegetarians need not worry about left out of the loop. All of the sandwich options are customizable so you can leave the bacon off, add an egg, or avocado! One of the best things about this spot is the fact that they use Portuguese rolls for their sandwiches- such a nice touch! Another bonus is how attentive, kind and efficient the cooks and staff are. The Brunch Box is awesome not only because all we have to do is walk downstairs to get to it, but their attention to detail with their creative sandwiches keeps us coming back. The staff is friendly and accommodating and there is never a long wait to get your order. It has become a part of our weekly routine to grab a couple TBB's (bacon, egg, cheese, lettuce, tomato and hashbrowns & sriracha mayo) on the weekend. Stopped by on a whim and was blown away. I ordered a BLT. Classic. Only this BLT was far away the best one I ever had. Everything was absolutely perfect from the fresh tomato and lettuce to their homemade mayo. The proportions were spot on. The perfectly balanced BLT. Excellent spot to grab a quick, delicious, unique bite. The new Towne sandwich is sinfully good. The fact that they use portuguese rolls is excellent, and they make your food pretty quickly. Their food is fresh, delicious, and isn't weighed down by sauces or anything. Mouth watering, simple food, and they are usually parked in a great area (Harbor Point). This is hands down the BEST and freshest food truck in Stamford, better yet in all of CT. I love to sample their menu and nothing disappoints. The TBB is stellar...my go to from Brunch Box. It's a bacon, egg, and hash brown sandwich that's cooked to perfection, topped with this amazing Sriracha mayo. Pro tip: sub the bacon for turkey sausage, it's fantastic. And let me just talk about the bread they use...it's a Portuguese muffin that they get shipped FRESH overnight from MA and it's amazingg! It's a little sweet and oh so soft and buttery. Don't forget to pick up their organic mint lemonade with your order. Food aside, the custom service can't be beat. The guys on the truck are so friendly and approachable. Absolutely DELICIOUS!!!! I'm obsessed. One of the guys in the truck recommended the TBB sandwich since this was my first time trying it.. and it was the best choice. I scarfed that sandwich down in minutes and really wish I had ordered another one. They had so many other options that I plan to try from now on. It's a really cool food truck as well, nice decor. Absolutely a hidden gem! Was out enjoying a Saturday morning walk and stumbled across The Brunch Box down in the Harbor Yard near Fairway. After having walked for over 2 hours, the fresh squeezed lemonade with fresh mint sounded amazing. The owners was helpful as first timers and suggesting the TBB.......while anxiously awaiting the sounds of egg, cheese, bacon, hash browns, and sriracha mayo on a Portuguese muffin I realized I lost my credit card while walking! Quickly telling them to stop the order as we had no money, the owner said, "no worries, it's on us"! Not only were the breakfast sandwiches delicious, these owners are fantastic!! Oh my oh my. My boyfriend introduced me to the Brunch Box about a month ago. Having no idea what to expect since it was a food truck, I was leery of the quality/cleanliness. However, this place is above and beyond. For a good truck, it doesn't get much better than the Brunch Box. Clean. Friendly. Amazing food. Get the BBB or bash smash. My mouth waters every time I'm in Stamford because all I can think about is the Brunch Box!!! Worth a stop! Ate at The Brunch Box yesterday for the first time.....was EXTREMELY impressed. I was told the "TBB" was the most popular item on the menu, so I ordered. This sandwich was amazing!!! The sandwich was well worth standing in the rain for. The owner was a very nice guy and I can honestly say I'll be back specifically for the TBB.... I called the restaurant to try to understand what happened. The gentleman I spoke with couldn't provide any reasonable explanation other than saying that my note was "confusing." It really wasn't. And even if there was any confusion, the obvious solution would have been to call and clarify the order before preparing it rather than simply making the substitution on both meals. What made the situation even worse was the response from the restaurant. I asked if they could correct the mistake by bringing the missing pancakes to the hospital. He refused. Then, after I expressed my frustration with how the situation was being handled, he actually hung up on me. That is completely unacceptable customer service. Mistakes happen -- especially with delivery orders -- but how a business handles a mistake says everything. Instead of apologizing, correcting the issue, or even attempting to find a reasonable solution, I was met with excuses, an attitude, and ultimately a hang-up. Awful management and an even worse customer-service experience. Unfortunately, the food itself was also less than average, so there really wasn't anything about this experience that would make me want to return. We were literally at the hospital after having our baby, and what should have been a simple brunch order turned into this unnecessary headache. I absolutely do NOT recommend Elm Street Diner. There are plenty of places that will not only serve you better food, but will actually treat their customers with basic courtesy and respect.

It is incredibly spacious, sits right on the water, and even has an additional outdoor area next door where you can relax away from the restaurant. The views alone make this place worth visiting. Our server, Freddy, was fantastic. He was friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain the menu, answer questions, and offer recommendations, which made the experience even better. Now onto the food. To start, we shared the Breakfast Pizza, topped with smoked bacon, crispy potatoes, roasted garlic, mozzarella, two eggs, and fresh cracked black pepper. It was a fun twist on brunch and had great flavor. We also ordered the Shrimp and Grits, made with cheddar grits, wild caught shrimp, a poached egg, and chimichurri. Rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. The Crispy Chicken Sandwich looked outstanding. Made with organic Murray's chicken, hot honey, coleslaw, and dill pickles, it came with fries and disappeared quickly. For my entrée, I ordered the Steak and Eggs, featuring grilled hanger steak, two eggs, breakfast potatoes, and chimichurri. The steak had excellent flavor, although I ordered it medium and it came out closer to well done. It was my only real issue with the meal. We also tried a couple of cocktails. The Orange Crush was refreshing and perfect for brunch, while the bourbon, Aperol, peach, Earl Grey, and lemon cocktail was smooth, balanced, and equally enjoyable. Dessert was the perfect ending. The Take 5 Sundae with peanut butter crunch, pretzels, whipped cream, vanilla bean caramel, chocolate ice cream, and hot fudge was absolutely delicious. We also had the Tres Leches, topped with strawberries and vanilla whipped cream, which was light, moist, and a great way to finish the meal. Overall, everything we ordered was delicious. The waterfront setting, excellent service, beautiful atmosphere, and quality food make this one of the best brunch spots in Stamford. I will definitely be back. There are really no words to describe how much I love this food truck. The food is always hot, fresh, and consistently delicious. Not to mention the owners are the sweetest people ever. They always remember my name and my order and always make me feel like a valued customer. Nothing compares to the TBB sandwich and the Hash Smash! To be honest, everything on the menu is great - you really can't lose. They also have really great cold brew coffee! I highly recommend these guys - they give every foodie living in Stamford their fix, and they do so with quality product and customer service. read more

Might be my favorite food truck in Stamford. Excellent breakfast sandwiches and fresh lemonade. Conveniently parked by Fairway on weekends I especially like being able to enjoy a TBB outside on a nice sunny day. I know they park in a few other locations on weekdays but not exactly sure (I commute into work anyway so would probably not be able to visit. The TBB is my go to - once they had short rib as an addition which was awesome - just be prepared to wait on the weekends because they are popular and for good reason! Yumm read more

One of the best food trucks around. I travel from Westchester to get my weekend fix. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for, fresh ingredients and everything made to order on the food truck! Try some of my favs..the TBB Sandwich, Pierogies and Hash Smash. If you eat on the healthier side, they have turkey sausage, Greek yogurt parfaits and smoked turkey sandwiches. I called to place my order based on the catering menu posted on their website. I wanted to order two stuffed breads, a panzanella salad and chicken scarp. Note that the website indicates, "Pricing of all of our items is subject to change [due] to constant fluctuations in costs..." The guy who took my order informed me that they no longer do stuffed breads. "Okay," I said and ordered a vegetable crudite platter on the fly since I wasn't anticipating that. "Oh yeah," the guy said, it is also $45 (not $30 that it says on the website). Begrudgingly, I said that's fine, as it was for a family Sunday afternoon dinner. Next, I ordered the panzanella salad. "We don't make that anymore." The guy informed me. I sighed and said, "Alright, how about a [small bowl] Caesar salad?" The menu listed it as $25 on the website. Lastly, I ordered the main event, the Chicken Scarpariello. Thankfully, they still made this and the half tray was still $60, like the website said. Fast forward to me picking up the food on Sunday. The kid at the counter shows me all of the items, Caesar salad w/ Caesar dressing, vegetable crudite with blue cheese dip and chicken scarp. "That'll be $148.60," he said. "Would you like a receipt?" YES. It didn't sit right with me how much everything cost (for 6 adults, mind you). I asked my wife to read me the receipt when I drove off. Included was a $4.73 'non-cash adj.' which I assume was me using my credit card (on a $140 ORDER). When I opened the food up, I really got angry. My $30 Caesar salad had zero croutons. It was solely lettuce and parmigiano cheese. Essentially, it was likely a 3-head bag of lettuce with cheese and dressing, for $30. Something I could have done myself for about $7 tops. Next, my $45 vegetable crudite platter had broccoli, red & yellow peppers, celery and cucumber with blue cheese. There was no spinach/artichoke dip as indicated on the website. Neatly presented, but it was $45 for veggies (and one, not two dips). Last, the menu indicates the chicken scarp is served over rice. When I opened the tray; SURPRISE, no rice. The food was tasty (specifically the chicken). But for what I paid (for mostly vegetables), I am so disgusted. Not only with A&S, but myself for agreeing to purchase the food in the first place. I have such disdain for this experience, I'm likely not going back. The guy taking the order admitted the website needed to be updated. But again, mostly I'm pissed at myself because I paid a lot for what I got in kind. The cherry on top was the line item on my receipt for using a credit card. I get that credit card companies charge fees, but it's 2023 and if you're going to nickel and dime someone for using a credit card, do it if it's under $10, not on a $140 order. Lesson learned. The problem with running a business this way, is you only can pull that ruse once, otherwise it's shame on me.
