Such a great place to grab breakfast! Delicious food and excellent service. I highly recommend. It's also family friendly and they can accommodate big groups. This place is always a go to. They also have some fun desserts for those that have a sweet tooth. Things to keep in mind, if you go on a weekend make sure to account for the wait. This place is very popular. Luckily we went on a Monday and were seated quickly.

Fine food, but honestly overhyped. My girlfriend and I were really excited to try this place and it wasn't bad, but wasn't the best food. We ordered the big macc eggrolls as our appetizer and while they were good, all we were tasting was meat and cheese, nothing else. I got the loaded fajita omelet with chorizo and it was good, just tasted like any other omelet. My girlfriend opted for the buffalo chicken mac and cheese wrap and was very underwhelmed. It came with the buffalo ranch syringe and LOOKED so epic, but lacked in flavor and was rather bland, could have been so much better with cheesier mac and cheese and more buffalo sauce. I'd go back to try the shakes and desserts they're known for but I'd skip brunch next time.

Our family had a wonderful time at Elm Street Diner! The food was absolutely delicious, and our kids were so happy with everything they ordered. Though the line was long, it was worth the wait--the upbeat music and friendly energy kept us engaged. The host was attentive, seating guests efficiently and ensuring quick table turnovers, averaging just over a minute. Service was excellent; coffee refills came right on time. Highly recommend this spot for families and friends.

You know, when you see places blow up on social media you're a little skeptical. Normally the aesthetics are great but the food is eh. Not here though! The food was so instagram worthy & DELICIOUS! Plus the portions are hugeee. Everything my friends and I got, we loved. We came here on a Saturday night around 7pm and did not have to wait for a table. Service was kind of slow, but the restaurant was busy so it was expected. We got the double stack big mac quesadilla, buffalo chicken curly fries, and strawberry cheesecake french toast. My personal fav was the quesadilla and strawberry cheesecake french toast! They were both super delicious and filling. We went home with so many leftovers. Such a good deal for the price and how much food you get. They have all these outrageous foods, especially their dessert. A great place to bring your kids for a birthday party!

Finally got a chance to visit Elm Street Dinet today. We came around noon. Got seated right away. It had such a nice diner atmosphere with plenty of booth seatings. The service was friendly. The menu was extensive and we had such a hard time deciding. I wanted to have a milk shake at some point but the portion sizes were large so I resolved to cone back and get the milk shake on another visit. We started with Fried Calamari. Very crunchy. I ordered the fried chicken pancake tacos. I like the savory sweet combo but could only eat one. It came in a set of three. My brother ordered the corned beef has Benedict. It really looked good with the hollandaise sauce. Everything was tasty. I definitely have to come back to try other items. As we walked out they were assembling the special birthday cake milk shake. It looked awesome. It was for 2 little kids. Wheee! Sugar high.

Been here 3 times now and waited to review. EACH time was PERFECT. And just so incredibly amazing. It has yet to fail me. It is a 2 hour drive in each direction and I would do it even again for a fourth time. SO WORTH EVERY AND ALL HYPE. GO!!!! GO!!! GO!!!! The food is amazing and unique, portions are more generous than the Cheesecake Factory, not Too crazily priced for what you're getting and let's be real... this is an EXPERIENCE. So it is WORTH IT !!!! I didn't have to wait to be seated any of the times I went, walked right in and sat down. Went around 11/12 all times. Love you guys. 10/10 would recommend, will be back again!!!

I was really impressed with this place for being a "instagram" diner that leans into the viral food trend. It was Friday morning, so we didn't have to wait at all to be seated. Their menu is huge and quite a few dishes sounded good. I went with the breakfast panini which was delicious. I had a basic iced coffee and wish they'd had some other coffee options. Everything is a little pricey, but service was quick and friendly.

It was such a good experience. Food was delicious. A lot of unique items here. I got the viral cake shake for $25. It was just incredible. I also saw someone who ordered the waffle tower. That was truly incredible. Service was decent and the diner is very modern and clean compared to what you'd expect. It's slightly more pricy than other diners though, but worth it.

Pretty cool & interesting menu items. Come hungry, plates are large. Only downside is no beer/alcohol for brunch/lunch time.

I got the Nutella Reese's churro French toast ($20) and at first I thought it was huge. However, it was smaller than expected, especially for $20. I knew there was a lot of whipped cream from the online photos, but that was probably the majority of the value, more than I thought. It was sweet, definitely not short on calories and the French toast itself was cooked very well with that cool churro crust. The food came out really fast, which makes me a little suspicious how much was homemade or if part of it was premade. The staff was OK, not really attentive.

Modern clean restaurant and restrooms. Mid size seating with booths and tables. Service was moderate as they were not good on filling drinks or checking on us and it was mid morning on a Thursday and they were not very busy. We each had typical breakfast-eggs, sausage, ham, pancake and Churro French toast. It was all good. Churro French toast was a tad sweet for my liking. Got one of the viral desserts-Cake Milkshake. You choose the shake flavor and they do the rest. It was wonderful and brought smiles for all rainbow goodness me all the treats on it. Ate the ice cream bar that was on it and drank the shake but brought the rest of it home. It has been nice having goodie for days me they are equally as yummy.

My girlfriend and I (both committed foodies) spent months planning our lunch at the Elm St Diner. We thoroughly researched the menu and would talk about weekly as it was trending online. Once we made the trip down to Stamford, this was our first stop. Honestly, we expected a lot more based on our thorough research and dedication. The service was good, they even brought complimentary cinnamon sugar donuts for our table to start, and were super attentive throughout the meal. The food had a beautiful presentation, but unfortunately lacked in flavor overall. We started off with the Big Macc eggrolls, which didn't really taste like a big mac (more hamburger taste), and were overly greasy. All I could taste was the hamburger meat and the grease. For our entrees, my girlfriend ordered an omelette which came with avocado and toast. I ordered the famous buffalo chicken mac & cheese wrap and fries. My girlfriend's omelette was good, but nothing special. I was expecting a lot for my buffalo chicken mac & cheese wrap, as combines two of my favorite foods and I've been dreaming about it for months. Honestly, it was very underwhelming. The wrap barely had any buffalo sauce and thus wasn't spicy/flavorful, the chicken was soggy not crispy, and the mac & cheese had zero flavor. The fries were the most flavorful thing on my plate. Honestly, they do a really good job with their marketing/advertising, but the food itself falls short. I'll come back and give it another try when I'm back in Connecticut, though.

After that our server just seemed to disappear. My daughter had hangar steak & eggs. I had the pork carnitas and eggs. Both our order's eggs were ordered sunny side up. Typically it's the yolks that are runny but both of our orders had runny whites as well. All this time we waited on the other appetizer to arrive. For a place that was not very busy the service was galactically awful. The food was passable but not great. The banana bread appetizer arrived as the busboy came to take our entree dishes. And that was after 2 reminders to our waiter (both appetizers were taken to go). Whoever is running this place (nobody game by asking how our meal was) should be embarrassed. When i spoke with our waiter about the abysmal service he passed it off on the busboy! There is no sense of teamwork nor pride in doing a good job. Sad.
