The staff was super friendly, and I ordered a Bacon, Egg, and Cheese. It was made on a Brioche roll with a fried egg. Honestly, I wasn't a huge fan of the egg or the sandwich overall. It was okay, probably a three-star kind of thing. Next time I went back, I tried the Calise sandwich, which has chicken cutlet, broccoli rabe, roasted peppers, fresh mozzarella, prosciutto, and balsamic glaze. I asked for the broccoli rabe on the side because I know everyone makes it differently. I get that it can be bitter, but some places make it taste amazing without the bitterness, so I wanted it on the side. The sandwich was really good, so I'd give it four stars, especially since the breakfast one was just three in my book. Sometimes you gotta visit a place a couple of times to really get a feel for their food. I wasn't really a fan of the broccoli rabe--it was a bit too bitter for me. But the sandwich itself was tasty, with well-seasoned chicken and really fresh mozzarella. Not sure if they make the mozzarella in-house, but it's delicious. It tasted just like you'd expect from an authentic Italian deli. Very good. Third time I went, I tried the Mother Clucker, which has a chicken cutlet, Russian dressing, cheddar cheese, and bacon. I wanted to try it because I'd seen it being made during my last visit and it looked awesome. It took about ten minutes to get ready. When I opened it up, I realized it had melted cheddar, not sliced like I thought, but it was all good. The sandwich was tasty, but a bit over the top with the bacon and melted cheddar--almost too much. I think using sliced cheddar would bring everything together better. The melted cheese kinda takes away from it, in my opinion. The bacon was crispy even with the cheesy sauce on top, and the chicken was nicely seasoned. I definitely plan to come back and try the Chopped Italian Combo. The staff's always friendly and welcoming, and it's a solid spot if you're looking for breakfast, with plenty of breakfast platters and other menu items that might catch your eye.

With just 5 people in front of me I waited 45 minutes to order food from their menu, which doesn't exist, unless you go on their Facebook. No menu on site. No prices. Nothing. But the food quality and service is what matters right? Apparently not to this sorry excuse for a food service vehicle. After patiently waiting for a ridiculous 45 minutes I finally get to order. I figured I would try the "TKO burger". Nope. They don't have it. Shocked I ordered a chili dog..... nope no chili. Fried fish sandwich? "Nope we don't have that". Pizza Frittata? Nope. Surf and Turf Burger? Nope. Frustrated I finally asked what was available. "Chicken fingers, hot dogs and burgers(not the tko)". I then begrudgingly ordered one order of chicken fingers, two dogs and two fries. "Great give us about 45 mins or so"....... Ummm wtf?! Then I saw the chef of this "fresh food" truck take frozen fries and frozen chicken tenders and put them in a fryer that looked like it hasn't been cleaned since the last time the Knicks won a championship. He then used those same hands and handled raw meat and wiped his mouth. I left in utter disgust. I then left and got McDonalds for my kids. Came back 30 minutes later, and the guy two people behind in line was just ordering while at least a dozen that were in front of me were still waiting for their "fresh food". Lol. I guess the prior reviews were done by friends and family, Helen Keller, or dummy accounts. Save yourself the time, money, energy and health risks. This ringside truck has it as together as Ali..... in the later years. Never again. Run. Don't bother. Pure trash.

I started out with a veggie burger. I always get this burger with a side of avocado cream sauce because it's a game changer. This sauce tases amazing with the veggie patty. Randomly, they have a Japanese side dish of pickled vegetables (tsukemono) and they have a sharp, gingery flavor that I love. I also got their BLT Ranch Crispy Chicken Sandwich, which was equally delicious, although they could've put a little more ranch on it. I paired that with their onion rings which were crispy and satisfying. I dipped them in my leftover avocado sauce as well. In its place: Chez Jack, a new spot whose name and logo didn't give us much to go on. But the interior was unchanged, so we went in to check it out. The place was a ghost town, they've only been open about two weeks. A friendly older gentleman handed us paper menus while we browsed, and the young man at the register was just as warm. When we placed our order, he spoke to the cook in French, a small moment, but it felt like a great sign. I'll admit I'm usually wary of trying new spots and tend to stick with what's known, so little details like that are things I tend to notice. Chez Jack is breakfast and brunch only, no dinner, with seating both inside (clean, well-kept space) and out. The menu keeps Dilly's house-roasted meats but leans into a French café vibe, with crepes, French toast, and staples like eggs, bacon, and potatoes, which I can't wait to go back for. All the sandwich bread comes from SONO Baking, a nice touch. We nearly went with breakfast but learned lunch was already available too, so we split a ham and cheese and a turkey club, both come standard with a side salad or fries, no upcharge like at Dilly's. Prices are comparable to Dilly's, but it felt like a noticeably better value. We ate outside, and the food came fast. The ham and cheese was so good I instantly regretted agreeing to split. The fries were perfectly done, the club's thick-cut bacon was cooked just right, and the side salad was simple and lightly dressed, a nice complement rather than an afterthought. When we returned our plates, the owner, Jack, who'd been doing the cooking himself, came out and asked, as eager to hear our verdict as we were to give it. You can tell he holds himself to a high standard. This is exactly the kind of family-owned spot people always say they want more of, and yet the dining room sat empty. I'll be back to try more of the menu, and I hope others give it a chance too.
