The food had a slightly processed taste, but overall, it was great. They had a wide selection of dishes. It was a bit inconvenient that you could only pay in cash, and the ATM right there charged for withdrawals. The service was good, and the vibe was really cute, with a nicely set-up ambiance.

Visiting from Louisiana, and this place may very well have the best breakfast I've ever had. Great service, delicious meal, and a lovely old-school vibe. I may have to walk back here tomorrow morning.

I was looking for a diner. I could take my found this little diner in White Plains. Across from the hospital. They are cash only so bring your paper money. Very nice inside classic diner from 90 years ago. You could sit at the counter on the old style stools or slipping into a comfortable booth. The waitress and brought us out menus. They have specials across from the booths that you can read tacked up I noticed the prices were amazingly low. Grilled cheeseburger deluxe. $9.00 Pizza burger $9.25 Two eggs toast, and your choice of bacon ham sausage $7.50. Other diners are definitely 40 to 50% more I decided to order the dinner, brisket of beef with with potato and vegetable. Your choice of tasty home fries, french fries mashed potatoes or a a broiled potato I chose the french fries. Gravy with the brisket. my dinner came out with a nice piece of bread delicious looking gravy and a very nice portion of brisket. The french fries were crispy on the outside and a nice potato taste on the inside. The brisket had a good flavor. The gravy tasty and I don't think they used a gravy that had MSG in it. my mother enjoyed the fish and chips a Swiss grilled cheese sandwich but it looked good The rice pudding was delicious. I definitely recommend coming here to try breakfast cheeseburger or one of the dinner choices. The meatloaf looked very good. I saw it going out to another customer. As well as the grilled cheeseburger with french fries The service was very nice. The waitress was very friendly and told me about how long the diner has been open 90 years.

Very NY diner. Typical fries not greasy which is good. My bunless burger was good just wish it was bigger but it was cooked to perfection and cheese was melted just right. No parking lot here it is street parking and we found parking around the corner. The Hospital is across the street. My husband's bacon was pretty good and crispy. Loved my pickle too! The waitress was friendly. Their mayonnaise was sooo good it tasted homemade. Wish I had more of it. Sliced tomatoes were juicy and very fresh! We also ordered a coke and a pepsi and they came in their own bottles which I didn't mind. I bet they make a perfect NY bacon, egg and cheese here. Give it a try!

In Westchester for a family event and decided to take a walk for breakfast. Yelp led us here based on a four and a half star rating. I'd however give it a four for ambiance- loved the cool old-time diner vibe of the place. Food-wise- they get three stars. I ordered an egg and cheese omelette with onions which was served to me cold with unmelted cheese and partially cooked onions. The well-done home fries were marginal and my bagel was subpar for a New York bagel. Hubby said his corned beef hash was not cooked well enough and bland. Overall the place was nothing to write home about. Also, if you do go,be prepared to pay with cash. They do have an ATM when you enter if needed.

Cash only! Parking limited and on street- bring quarters for meter. Tiny old diner- but a lot to offer- we had the burger, BLT, & milkshake. Delicious

This tiny hole in the wall diner was surprisingly good. Reminds me of a Waffle House design but much better food. Came in 10 am on a Tuesday and it was packed. Only two seats at the bar open so be prepared for a morning rush. The service is a little slow cause there's only one server and one cook but bare with them, it's worth the wait. Food comes out piping hot and fresh. The corned beef was canned but good. The home fries were a little bland but good texture. My over easy egg was perfect. A big note is this diner is CASH ONLY. Make sure you have enough before the bill comes. Everything is priced very well though.

Great experience. Real NY diner. Great prices. Cash only BTW. LOVE IT . Simple and good. Buy a lottery ticket too.

We ordered the chicken sandwich, the spicy chicken sandwich, and the house burger. Overall, the food was good. I had the spicy chicken sandwich and enjoyed it, although I was expecting a bit more heat. It was flavorful but tasted milder than I anticipated. The desserts looked beautiful (as you can see in the photo). I didn't try one myself, so I can only share what my friends said. They thought they were good, though nothing particularly memorable. It was an extremely hot day, so we were looking forward to ordering sangria. Unfortunately, even though it's listed on the menu, they weren't serving it, which was a little disappointing. The service was good, friendly and attentive, though fairly average overall. One thing I will say is that I prefer the atmosphere in the evenings. The vibe feels more lively and enjoyable than it does during lunchtime.

They offered red or white wine to the guests as well as passed out champagne at the beginning for the toast. Later they had coffee or tea to go with the dessert. The food varied. The appetizers, spicy shrimp and Italian meatballs, were addictive. The arugula salad was nicely presented and flavors meshed well. The pasta with peas was al dented. The side dishes of mixed vegetables and potatoes were decent. The main dishes were hit or miss. There were three: salmon, steak, and chicken marsala. The salmon was flavorful but a little dry. The chicken marsala was very dry and was saved by the delicious sauce with mushrooms. The best was the steak which was perfectly tender and medium rare. The dessert was some small pastries and fruit which was presented nicely. It is a very classy place with good service.

Came on a Saturday and was expecting there to be a long wait, especially when the lobby area had two parties waiting. I was surprised when there were at least 10 empty tables and no one at the host stand. We waited for several minutes to the point I seriously questioned if this was a What Would You Do segment and started looking for John quinones. The party of two in front of us ended up leaving when they were told the wait for 2 was 30 minutes. We decided to wait the 30 minutes, and the party of two who came in after us was told the wait was only 10 minutes. We were seated shortly after. On the menu, there's a note that the Dutch baby takes a longer time to prepare but it came out at the same time as our other food. I was again unpleasantly surprised--the speed came at the price of quality. You can see how fluffy the Dutch baby was in the pic from 12 years ago compared to today's, where it was more of a crepe than a bread "pudding". Still tasted decent after you add the lemon and powdered sugar that they give on the side, but texture was definitely lacking. The side pancakes with our other dishes were a tad salty. We did notice managers walking around, so at least management is aware that there's something they're messing up. Hopefully they figure it out because this used to be a favorite.

They have a program to text when your table was ready, so we went for a walk in the neighborhood while we waited. A surprisingly short time later, we received the text that our table was ready! The menu(s) had a wonderful selection of food and drinks, along with some specials. They do use a QR code for their menus, but noticed they also had paper menus upon request. Our server was friendly and attentive. The other members of staff would also check in as they passed by. My boyfriend enjoyed the PB & J Latte along with the creole shrimp Benedict. He said it was seasoned well, right level of spice, stated the eggs were poached perfectly, and really enjoyed how moist the cornbread was. I indulged with the "Tipsy Palmer" which is an Arnold Palmer with Bourbon in it. To be honest, there wasn't much of a bourbon taste to it, if any at all, but for a summer brunch drink, it was refreshing. For my entree, I chose the chicken Caesar sliders. To be honest, I was a bit disappointed as the brioche buns seemed a little on the stale/stiff side. The homemade caesar dressing was delicious, but they only coated the lettuce in it which resulted in a bit of a dry slider. I believe the sliders would benefit from a bit of the dressing at least on the bottom of the bun. I asked for (and received) a side of the dressing to bring home to dress up my remaining sliders. Lastly, and I know this is extremely minor, but the silverware was placed incorrectly (knife and fork reversed with the knife edge in the wrong direction). Again, I am WELL AWARE this is minor, but for me, sometimes the minor details are the things that stand out. Overall, a wonderful experience and will try them again at a later date.
