I love coming here when I get the chance, it seems like everybody knows your name. The atmosphere is casual, chill, relaxed, and personable. Customer walking in speak not only to the owners but to everyone dining-in. Let me tell you about the customers. They are so friendly and enthusiastic about getting to know each other. The gentleman sitting next to me said is that really your name, I said yes. He replied, so tell me about Waterloo. I said really. Okay! I used to drive trucks for Werner Enterprise and I was in Waterloo NY in a snow storm, my truck broke down and I felt defeated. He laugh hysterically! I ordered a small stack of pancakes and sausage links. I also gave (one of the owners named) Lucy, the Napoleon pastry that I purchased. Yes she loves us, I mean the pastry. Pro tip, pancakes are good with sausage and you can do a la carte! A working improvement is the curtains to block the cold air. So don't sit near the door. read more

I ate here for the first time today. Absolutely fantastic breakfast! I'm a traditionalist for breakfast, so it was just eggs, bacon and toast for me. Generous portions, well cooked food, and endless refills of great diner coffee. The very pleasant waitresses also add to the ambience. read more

We were leaving NYC our way to Boston looking for a breakfast place outside of the hustle and bustle. We came across this old school breakfast place. The food was outstanding. We always like to find places that are off the beaten path. This was a local place that reminded me of places I used to ear when I was a kid in the early 80's. It has an old school local family feel and the owner Tina was very nice. Restaurant is cash only. We are from Los Angeles California and don't know if we will ever get back there but if I am ever in Harrison NY again I will be sure to eat there again. read more

The food is scrumptious and the portions are huge. Great pancakes, French toast, and nice fluffy omelets. Service is always with a smile and our coffee cups are always full! Driving down county for my fiancee"s rotator cuff ambulatory surgery at 6 AM in Rye we got up at 4:45 an ungodly hour. I had no idea where to go as I was not allowed to stay at the site due to Covid restrictions. Hungry I searched yelp and found T-N-T Luncheonette nearby. Took a chance finding it locked as I was early. Theresa, the owner, readily unlocked the door for me and I settled in a booth near a relaxing fishtank. I need relaxing and a respite for sure. Ordered 2 eggs over, home fries (made from new red potatoes), sausage and toast with my decaf. We chatted as a regular came in and was warmly greeted grabbing his takeout. My breakfast was perfectly cooked and coffee refills readily offered. If only we lived closer I'd be a regular. This was a great find. Can't go wrong! By the way the surgery went well. read more

Small-town America still exists in very close proximity to New York City. This is probably the first time in years that I ate at the lunch counter. This place has the small-town experience and atmosphere. Friendly service, large portions, relatively inexpensive food, and locals discussing everything.Although good, we both agreed that the food wasn't great; my friend's omelette and my tuna on a plate.
