Beautiful ambiance and nicely decorated! The restaurant is much more spacious than I expected. The service was friendly and quick, which made the experience even better. The drinks were good.We tried the house Margarita (Invito) and the Black Paloma. The margarita was definitely the better choice. For appetizers, we had the guacamole and the beef empanadas, both were really good, but the beef empanadas were absolutely delicious. The birria tacos were tasty as well. I pass this place every day on my way to work but my first time dining here was for a friend's birthday. We were seated in the area closest to the window facing 9A (note- it was a bit drafty, so maybe bring a light sweater?) I decided to order a Paloma mocktail and it was very good. We ordered a bunch of appetizers to share which were eaten in seconds. For my entree I ordered the salad with steak and it was very filling. We love Mexican food and eat it regularly. So I don't know how we missed this place that's only a few miles away. Invito is by far the best and most authentic Mexican food we've ever eaten short of my dining partner's Mexican grandmother. Both the carnivores and vegans were very happy with their meals. Wow wow wow! I'm so happy I found this spot. Came here for dinner with my friend as a good in between spot for us to meet. The inside is so cute and they're decorating for the holidays right now. Staff was very friendly and attentive. The cocktails are so fun, and there is an extensive Mocktail menu as well. All the food was very fresh and had tons of flavor. Highly recommend the birria tacos, the street corn had a perfect char and right amount of cheese and for dessert the tiramisu tres leches. Shot of espresso on the side and use some of the milk from the tres leches for your espresso. Delicious! This will definitely be my new go to spot to meet with friends halfway. read more

Decided to go for a paint n sip they were having. I must say it was very fun thanks to Lisa owner of Craftwus they were so energetic nice and ever welcoming and patient. If was a great time the staff also were very friendly food was great as well as those $10 margaritas lol the place also a has a good atmosphere and good vibes. I came here because it was on my list. It was good but I'm not sure if I would go back. First we ordered the loaded nachos, the steak tostones, Chicarron guacamole and the birria tacos. We also ordered two mocktails which were really good. The service was amazing. He was really nice and great at his job. This place is really pretty. They have a speakeasy and I would be willing to try their happy hour. The only item which I would say was above average delicious was the pork chicharron, it was perfectly cooked. We were pleasantly surprised at Invito this weekend. Elmsford isn't one of those places you often go to for quality dining -- and especially route 9A, where gritty warehouses, plumbing supplies and auto repair shops are more common than restaurants. Invito stands alone in this otherwise uninviting stretch of road. The restaurant itself is quite large. We skipped the indoor dining room and sat in their outside covered "porch." You can hear the cars, but we barely noticed after a few minutes. The vibe was nice and the Latin music set the mood. Service was mostly attentive, the bar menu was extensive, and we enjoyed a handful of appetizers and entrees among the four of us. My friend and I shared two tacos and the carne asada -- both were very tasty. My wife and friend each had a vegetarian dish (I can't recall which, but they both said it was very flavorful). The guacamole appetizer was tasty as well. Four drinks, two appetizers and four entrees set us back $50 per person after gratuity, which we thought was very reasonable for what we got. The service was friendly and mindful, checking up on us at appropriate intervals. The seafood ceviche was fresh and tasty. The queso fundido had endless amounts of cheese. The birria and al pastor tacos were two per serving with large portions and well seasoned meat. The guava margarita was well crafted. Their mocktails were also presented beautifully. Night out with the my beautiful family Celebrating my Mother in laws 73rd Birthday. We decided to have dinner after we visited the Westchester's Winter Wonderland. I found the suggestion on yelp and was so pleased. I love great restaurants outside the city and I definitely found a new Favorite. Parking located in the back of the restaurant. They provide the cutest waiting area with swinging bamboo chairs while waiting for your table. They do provide coat check if you don't want to carry yours to the table. I really enjoyed their passion fruit margaritas with tajin on the rim. I also enjoyed their guacamole with chicharron unfortunately we ate so fast no picture to show lol. The Aquachile de Camaron was everything spicy yet refreshing. My mother in law enjoyed the Sopa de Mariscos. While everyone was in complete ayeee of the Birria Tacos with consume. We eating at the table while planning our next visit back to the restaurant. I had a fabulous dinner here! I started off with a passionfruit Mojito, which was divine and then moved on to steak tacos, ceviche, and aguachili shrimp. The ceviche was perfect in a citrusy sauce and the shrimp was absolutely incredible and had a nice citrus tang. For entrées, we got a molchajete for two which included shrimp sausage, steak cheese sticks And chicken. We had ordered the green salsa Verde, which was the perfect balance to the salty meats. Steak was tender, chicken was delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed everything. Service was excellent, and our server was funny and quite efficient. All in all a wonderful dinner. The best part was the surprise at the end! We didn't know there was a lounge hidden in the back that opened up to this cool area with a fun vibe! Loved it! We will be back soon! read more

This is officially my new favorite spot in Westchester! The food, the staff and decor were all amazing. The space is pretty big with the main dining area and a speakeasy in the back. I started the evening in the speakeasy with some cocktails. Then moved to the main restaurant area for dinner. I had the chicken enchiladas and beef empanadas, and both were fantastic. The meat was incredibly tender and flavorful. The enchiladas were a generous portion- I had leftovers and could have probably stretched it to a third meal. Got the banana pudding and churros for dessert and that turned out to be the best decision of the night. The banana pudding was so creamy and thick. I'm still dreaming about it. The churros were perfectly crisp on the outside and warm and soft on the inside. Seriously so good! My only minor complaints were that the live jazz music was a little too loud for a table conversation and that the main dining area was a bit chilly. Otherwise, I had a wonderful experience. Nice, open space that can accommodate very large parties (there were quite a few when we were there). It is extremely loud, however. Very very loud. The secret speakeasy is very cool, though we just went through to check it out after we ate. Service was friendly and attentive. Food was good and comes out quickly. Homemade chips were very good and crunchy. Salsa on the table could use more heat. Guac was good - though I didn't care for the chips it came with. I continued to eat the chips from the salsa. Flatbread was tasty. Tuna ceviche as my main and it was very flavorful. I enjoyed it very much. Side of sweet plantains is like eating candy. Pork shank was delicious and very tender. Salmon was cooked perfectly and devoured. Shrimp tacos (2 in the order) were well seasoned and enjoyed. A nice spot with good food and a great, speakeasy you must check out. read more

I really wanted to watch the game, it's the playoffs, lol which was perfect because I asked them to put the game on while we were in the speakeasy. I asked our waitress to surprise me with the flavor of the margarita, the drink was amazing! 10 out of 10! She decided on guava, it was so good. I wanted to drink it so fast it was so refreshing. We got the guacamole and chips, also the Tostones with Chicharron and lastly the beef empanadas. Everything was so good, I wish the Tostones had maybe a dash of salt, otherwise it was delicious. They speak easy is so cute, it really gives like New York City vibes and they play music and they have a screen up for a TV. Lounge, chairs, cute little high tables, and a great bar. Went to Invito recently for a private party. Highly recommended! Invito is a fine restaurant and premium cocktail experience. We will return! They have a wonderful and savory eclectic Mexican Fusion type menu. Apps include sushi quality tuna and salmon ceviche and tender succulent grilled octopus! We have to recommend the braised pork shank with avocado leaves and smoked chillies. Their craft cocktail menu is exceptional. They have an assortment handmade cocktail garnishes on display at the bar, next level stuff! We had a Mezcal Old Fashioned! Unique, and sooooo good! hand crafted right in front of us by an expert mixologist! 5++++++ Probably the best premium tequila selection in the region! There is a small "transition lounge" between the main dining room and kitchen area. A cool comfortable seating area to sit and enjoy a tequila and conversation. But wait, there is more!!!! There is a "secret" door in the lounge area that leads into one of the coolest speakeasy like lounge areas anywhere! There is a separate bar menu with tapas and even grilled oysters! but unfortunately we didnt have an opportunity to try anything! Next time! For sure! Sinaloa Lounge (speakeasy) - Loved discovering this place! My friend invited me for a birthday celebration and I was so confused when I walked in because there were only a few people inside the restaurant. Come to find out there's a secret entrance to the speakeasy behind the mirror! This is where all the people were lol. Definitely one of the largest speakeasies I've gone to. Such a fun vibe, loved the DJ and the drinks! Clearly I have to come back for the food at the actual Invito Restaurant by the looks of the other reviews. read more

Four of us went here for dinner and expected a generic Mexican Restaurant. However to our surprise the menu had a definite Latin flavor, We tasted various dishes and were delighted with each one. Starting with seafood Ceviche. Tuetano (Bone Marrow). Flatbread and Grilled Octopus. The mains went from delightful Risottos to Latin enhanced steaks. Our server Yaquelle was fantastic in suggesting dishes as well as the different and great drinks. Our hats are off to the wonderful Chef Ramero who put this culinary feast together. Had the worst experience I've ever had in my life at this location. My fiancée and I went here for drinks and food, all was well we were vibing to the music. My fiancée and I closed out our tab but I decided I wanted one more drink before we left, so we moved to the bar. My fiancée decided she wouldn't have another drink because she was driving and went to the bathroom. I ordered another drink from the female bartender. I will note that this entire time we were in "speakeasy" portion of the restaurant. The female bartender took my order and my fiancée returned to the bar and then there was a conversation between the male bartender and the female bartender obviously about my fiancée and I. Next thing I know, the male bartender is having a conversation with my fiancée apparently stating that neither bartender felt comfortable serving me another drink unless I wait like 20 minutes. My fiancée told me that it was because the male bartender said he saw me "falling into my fiancée" but he was in the kitchen when the female bartender took my order. I let the male bartender as well as the manager know how I felt. In that time, the female bartender served me my drink after drinking four waters back to back as I watched the same male bartender that made me wait serve more shots than I've had all night to a group of people five years younger than me while I waited and fought and felt discriminated against because I'm in a homosexual relationship and moved from my table to the bar. The male bartender said he witnessed me "falling into my fiancée", but he was in the kitchen when my order was taken by the female bartender. I likely won't be back to this place, the only reason I lament this decision is because I really like tequila and this is one of the fairly new establishments that caters to tequila lovers with a wide array of tequila options, but I feel very embarrassed and upset by the events tonight and likely won't be back. The manager didn't have much to say when I recounted my experience so I'm not going to continue to frequent an establishment that clearly makes decisions without speaking to me directly and treating me like I'm not a person. EDIT: Went back today to speak to one of the owners Luis who was amazing at listening to my concerns and communicating that they are sincerely sorry for my experience and frustration that came from it. He appreciated that I came back to follow up because he appreciates that I want to continue to come back to this establishment and he appreciates my business. I felt he was very nice and sincere in communicating that there was a breakdown in communication and service. He assured me that the staff would be trained on how to avoid incidents like this from happening again and he was very sincere in inviting me back and wanting to see my fiancée and I again. All I wanted was a sincere apology and understanding that I wanted to be communicated with directly and shown genuine care and concern. Luis gave me exactly that and assured me that his staff would be learning from this experience as well, so I will be more than happy to go back to Invito in the near future. read more

Recently held a farewell dinner there with a group of 16 and they did an amazing job with everything. The events coordinator was very responsive as well.
