Took my boyfriend's parents for a quick drink because Tarrytown called right around the corner and they could go to their event. I actually didn't realize they had food which the burgers or slider. I should say were amazing very good. The staff was nice and they told me they're open till 10 for food and depending on how late people come in for drinks up to 2 AM. Plenty of parking in the back or on the street, nice cozy environment

After exploring surrounding areas of Tarrytown, came to The Tapp for some dinner and drinks. Found this spot, from a google search, and then seeing pretty good reviews here on yelp, how could I saw no. Establishment wasn't too busy, overall quiet with a few TVs playing one sport or another when I walked in, and I did not mind that at all, since I could get a spot at the bar. Ordered myself a BLT sandwich (when they say thick cut bacon, THEY MEANT IT, so I was very happy camper about that, plus the roast red pepper aioli really tied it all together) with an espresso martini. The martini is possibly the best espresso martini I had. If the drive wasn't too long from home for me, I would probably be here every other week, for both the BLT and espresso martini. If my review has you ordering one or the other, or both for the matter, please enjoy it a little extra for me!

Great place to grab a drink, lots of standards available as well as a specialty cocktail menu. Light fare is available and while we didn't eat during this visit, we will definitely be back and give it a try. The bartender made us feel like a "regular", and the regulars tolerated outsiders. Cool venue to hang out with friends, or to grab a pre-music hall beverage.

Cute little pub with great burgers and fun cocktails at lunch. The server was kind, friendly, & efficient. The Boo Juice was a little too sweet for me, but the food was really tasty and the portions generous. I also appreciated that the restroom was clean. I was only visiting Tarrytown for the day, but I'd definitely come back if I'm ever in the area again. Prices were a little steep, but it is the height of their tourist season, so not unexpected.

Nice service quick drive into the area bartender was kind i had mocktail the ambiance was spooky theme it's a bit small inside like a dive bar and the price was a lot for happy hour it's ok i didn't try the food but i liked the decorations!

A simple, open space, no frills bar. We visited on a October 30th, which might be around the town's busiest season. My boyfriend and I sat ourselves down near an open window and waited a few minutes for service. There was only one person on wait staff and I felt bad for her. This isn't a fast establishment. My boyfriend eventually ordered a beer and we ordered some loaded tots. When they came, they didn't look too appetizing. The tots were crunchy but the toppings were just...not good - at least they were hot. The price of food and drinks is not worth it. Maybe their happy hour deals would be better. But it's bar food and not impressive, even looking at other peoples plates. Seems to be a place for good late nights but even so the beer prices are high for the area. This place wasn't crowded as others were popping with life. I understand why.

We walked in for a late nigh bite to eat and drinks. The girl working was wonderful. She was attentive, quick and friendly. We literally were the last ones there and she never made us feel rushed. That's how you earn repeat customers.

My husband went with the à la carte French toast accompanied with a fresh berry compote and homemade whip cream. The bread was a house-made challah bread . He said it was the best he's French toast he's ever had. Served with real maple syrup, which made it even better. The Bloody Marys were fantastic--perfectly spicy, with a noticeable kick of horseradish. The Bellini was just as delicious, and the coffee was served hot and full of flavor. I opted for the prix fixe menu . It was difficult to choose as there were many options to choose from. I decided on the mushroom risotto as a first course which was outstanding--perfectly creamy risotto topped either mushrooms and a delicate touch of annato oil that brought everything together beautifully. For my main course again, many options that I could've went with, but decided on the eggs Benedict with pork belly, and it was absolutely delicious. The eggs were poached perfectly, and the hollandaise sauce was rich and flavorful. The country, potatoes, sautéed with onions and red peppers, were so tasty, and the side salad with dressing was light and refreshing. I also loved that there were several protein options you could've chose from to go on top of the English muffin beneath the poached eggs. We were too full to enjoy dessert there, but we took it home--an apple cheesecake dress with caramel sauce, and that same homemade whipped cream . Since we were taking it home, we forgo'd the vanilla ice cream which also came with this dessert . The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive--water glasses were refilled without asking, and plates were cleared promptly. The space also features a beautiful large bar and an outdoor patio, which I can't wait to come back and enjoy. Lots of parking in the surrounding and immediate areas and free on Sundays.

Sure, ok, it is a nice looking space, but that is where it ends for me. I have been at least 5 times and while none were memorable this last one was really awful. As someone who likes to eat there is nothing worse than ordering something for a special treat that ends up being "not worth it." I ordered the soup and sandwich off the lunch menu - truffle grilled cheese, how could you wrong? What I expected - a decadent, buttery, melty sandwich. What I got- two heels of bread dry as a desert with a thick hunk of cheese that was not even fully melted throughout. The soup was not terrible in comparison but needed salt. Holiday lunches have dragged on and on with slow service. I would never go spend my own money here.

Even though this was not a vegan dish, who could pass on a collosal cheese biscuit. The egg was a nice accompaniment to this cheese biscuit also. The lady that gave me the biscuits said, wow! I also got a side of the vegan bacon. It was rubbery and tough to chew. Would not recommend. My husband enjoyed the breakfast burrito. We also shared the buffalo cauliflower. The cauliflower pieces were well coated in buffalo sauce and very flavorful. I also got the Don't Kale Me juice. It was tangy, citrusy, and refreshing. The Deep Roots smoothie was also quite tasty. Come early if you can so you don't miss anything. The tour is really cool - I could listen to their seedy stories all day. It is an incredible meal. Everything is fresh, and it's just amazing to try all these flavorful veggies and realize that all food can and should taste this good. Our starters include a fresh stalk of fennel, cucumber with yogurt, spinach lettuce to be snipped with scissors, etc, etc, omg so much more. We got a lot of asparagus and peas made in many ways, and it was magical. There are fascinating food lessons throughout the meal, as we're introduced to the four plants in the buckwheat family with a delicious "horseradish tofu" and buckwheat dumplings in dashi. Purple Passion Asparagus is literally the best vegetable I've ever tasted - all the sweetness of asparagus amplifed with literally none of the unpleasant fibrous stalks. I also loved trying an egg from a waste-fed chicken. The bread was pretty burnt on the bottom so the taste was a bit off-putting. Unfortunate as it was really interesting to try the single udder butters. Getting to see chef Dan up close was awesome (sorry, chef, I'm the weirdo who took 50 photos of you). And yes, I did ask and the staff assured me it was okay. Every table gets a different menu, and I can honestly say I loved everything I ate. Altogether, it's the most amazing experience - I have never sat down to dinner at 5 PM and not left the table until 11, and the food is so fresh and so good that I still felt good after eating so much. My only advice is that you should definitely ask for something if you want it. My fault for forgetting to ask - I would have really liked to try the veal, and it also sucked to get just steak while the table next to me got bone marrow. That said, I would still highly recommend this experience and would absolutely come back for more.

We loved the farm tour that started our evening (eating a stalk of the best asparagus I've ever had plucked straight from the ground was a definite highlight) and getting to learn more about Blue Hill's philosophy of farm to table cooking and using as many parts of each animal as possible. Service was attentive but not stuffy, and everyone we interacted with that night was personable and enthusiastic about their work. For dinner service we sat in a corner booth and listened to the soothing sounds of bird calls interspersed throughout the evening. We began a litany of courses that consisted of the farm's freshest produce of the season, which was delightfully hands-on. Some of our favorites of the evening came later, in the buckwheat 4 ways course and the two types of asparagus, as well as the best celttuce preparation I've had. The field trip to the kitchen was fun and we got some delicious buckwheat chips and cow bone rind brie. Even though we didn't love the toughness of the dairy cow that was served in one of our later plates, I appreciated the thought that went into the conception of the course, and there were more than enough wow/extremely delicious other components & courses to balance that out entirely. As a ceramics enthusiast, a lot of the plateware was also very beautiful, especially the pieces that were sourced from dairy cow bones. What a lovely way to honor all parts of the animal! A tip to try the non-alcoholic beverages/mocktails if you're not otherwise doing a pairing. We had some excellent drinks throughout the night at a very reasonable price point for a restaurant of this caliber and I was thoroughly impressed by the thought and care put into every component of the menu. The beverage menu itself was printed on a lovely map of the grounds and I was able to take one home along with a polaroid of us in the kitchen and a small loaf of whole-wheat bread that I ate with butter in the following week. Just a delightful experience all around and I'll be thinking about it fondly for many years to come!
