Took my boyfriend's parents for a quick drink because Tarrytown called right around the corner and they could go to their event. I actually didn't realize they had food which the burgers or slider. I should say were amazing very good. The staff was nice and they told me they're open till 10 for food and depending on how late people come in for drinks up to 2 AM. Plenty of parking in the back or on the street, nice cozy environment

After exploring surrounding areas of Tarrytown, came to The Tapp for some dinner and drinks. Found this spot, from a google search, and then seeing pretty good reviews here on yelp, how could I saw no. Establishment wasn't too busy, overall quiet with a few TVs playing one sport or another when I walked in, and I did not mind that at all, since I could get a spot at the bar. Ordered myself a BLT sandwich (when they say thick cut bacon, THEY MEANT IT, so I was very happy camper about that, plus the roast red pepper aioli really tied it all together) with an espresso martini. The martini is possibly the best espresso martini I had. If the drive wasn't too long from home for me, I would probably be here every other week, for both the BLT and espresso martini. If my review has you ordering one or the other, or both for the matter, please enjoy it a little extra for me!

Cute little pub with great burgers and fun cocktails at lunch. The server was kind, friendly, & efficient. The Boo Juice was a little too sweet for me, but the food was really tasty and the portions generous. I also appreciated that the restroom was clean. I was only visiting Tarrytown for the day, but I'd definitely come back if I'm ever in the area again. Prices were a little steep, but it is the height of their tourist season, so not unexpected.

Great place to grab a drink, lots of standards available as well as a specialty cocktail menu. Light fare is available and while we didn't eat during this visit, we will definitely be back and give it a try. The bartender made us feel like a "regular", and the regulars tolerated outsiders. Cool venue to hang out with friends, or to grab a pre-music hall beverage.

Nice service quick drive into the area bartender was kind i had mocktail the ambiance was spooky theme it's a bit small inside like a dive bar and the price was a lot for happy hour it's ok i didn't try the food but i liked the decorations!

A simple, open space, no frills bar. We visited on a October 30th, which might be around the town's busiest season. My boyfriend and I sat ourselves down near an open window and waited a few minutes for service. There was only one person on wait staff and I felt bad for her. This isn't a fast establishment. My boyfriend eventually ordered a beer and we ordered some loaded tots. When they came, they didn't look too appetizing. The tots were crunchy but the toppings were just...not good - at least they were hot. The price of food and drinks is not worth it. Maybe their happy hour deals would be better. But it's bar food and not impressive, even looking at other peoples plates. Seems to be a place for good late nights but even so the beer prices are high for the area. This place wasn't crowded as others were popping with life. I understand why.

We walked in for a late nigh bite to eat and drinks. The girl working was wonderful. She was attentive, quick and friendly. We literally were the last ones there and she never made us feel rushed. That's how you earn repeat customers.

My husband went with the à la carte French toast accompanied with a fresh berry compote and homemade whip cream. The bread was a house-made challah bread . He said it was the best he's French toast he's ever had. Served with real maple syrup, which made it even better. The Bloody Marys were fantastic--perfectly spicy, with a noticeable kick of horseradish. The Bellini was just as delicious, and the coffee was served hot and full of flavor. I opted for the prix fixe menu . It was difficult to choose as there were many options to choose from. I decided on the mushroom risotto as a first course which was outstanding--perfectly creamy risotto topped either mushrooms and a delicate touch of annato oil that brought everything together beautifully. For my main course again, many options that I could've went with, but decided on the eggs Benedict with pork belly, and it was absolutely delicious. The eggs were poached perfectly, and the hollandaise sauce was rich and flavorful. The country, potatoes, sautéed with onions and red peppers, were so tasty, and the side salad with dressing was light and refreshing. I also loved that there were several protein options you could've chose from to go on top of the English muffin beneath the poached eggs. We were too full to enjoy dessert there, but we took it home--an apple cheesecake dress with caramel sauce, and that same homemade whipped cream . Since we were taking it home, we forgo'd the vanilla ice cream which also came with this dessert . The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive--water glasses were refilled without asking, and plates were cleared promptly. The space also features a beautiful large bar and an outdoor patio, which I can't wait to come back and enjoy. Lots of parking in the surrounding and immediate areas and free on Sundays.

You order at the register and they call out your name when your food is ready. They have a ton of vegan/vegetarian options, as well as a great breakfast/brunch menu. I ordered the egg and cheese biscuit. The cheddar jalapeño biscuit was delicious. It was buttery and dense. The flavors were mild, but the sandwich was the perfect portion size. I also got a side of the vegan bacon. It was rubbery and tough to chew. Would not recommend. My husband enjoyed the breakfast burrito. We also shared the buffalo cauliflower. The cauliflower pieces were well coated in buffalo sauce and very flavorful. I also got the Don't Kale Me juice. It was tangy, citrusy, and refreshing. The Deep Roots smoothie was also quite tasty. They have free self-serve water and the employees were quick to wipe down tables so they were clean for the next party. Looking forward to coming again!

We ordered a round of classic drinks (mojito, whiskey sour, gin and tonic, Malibu and pineapple juice - we're not big drinkers) and each drink was on point and not overly heavy on the liquor, which I appreciate. We weren't famished, so we all ordered burgers and sandwiches, which were quite good, especially my Cubano I want to return to try some entrees - like the butternut squash risotto - which looked interesting and promising! We actually ordered more when the servings we were sharing weren't enough. I would return JUST for those. We shared a bread pudding, which was also lovely and light, topped with a scoop of creamy and not cloyingly sweet vanilla gelato. Overall, a great meal, with a friendly and relaxed vibe. We were the first ones there by accident which can feel funny but Izzy was so warm and welcoming and very eager to meet us and tell us about the epic menu and the show stopping desserts. We told Izzy our drink preferences and he nailed it each drink. We started with a dozen oysters that were incredible and shocked perfectly. Then followed that with the bone marrow which had a tasteful amount of chimichurri sauce and a side of crunchy salt to use for your liking. It was delicious! We were temped to next get the octopus but needed room for the "bar only specials" which is a brilliant idea very unique. It was a wagu blend cheese burger with arugula and a delicious black garlic spread and perfectly cooked fries. Perfect for sharing! A dinner isn't complete without an espresso martini! This review is for the breakfast at the cafeteria…read more Breakfast is more restricted than a McDonalds. It is 9:30 am to 11:00 am. The service is exactly like a McDonalds. I got there and waited while the staff and a customer were socializing and ignoring me. The standard 'we don't care and we want you to know it.' There is food that is prepackaged from other companies. I did not really look at it since I am here for the 2 Michelin star in house cooked food not something that can be purchased in a lot of places. I chose to get a golden raisin muffin because the scone had nuts in it. The muffin is $6.50 which is what you expect from fancy places. It tasted really delicious and much better than supermarket and bakery muffins. This was a nice once in a lifetime stop, but it is not somewhere to return. I understand it is a farm and has to be further removed from society, but the time constraints are too much. Also, there is no guarantee what will be served, and you need to be able and willing to eat anything.

The fries were the star because they were skinny and crispy! I loved the cozy restaurant and the charming decor. The service was great and all the waiters and waitresses were outstanding! The beautiful view of the Hudson River was such a bonus! The weather was chilly for spring so we sat inside but I've been here before and sat outside which was amazing! We had a variety of desserts but my favorite was the olive oil carrot cake. Wow that cake was super moist and tasty! If you want a nice view and good food, I would suggest giving Red Hat on the River a try.
