First time here. I loved it! We had the prefix steak dinner for two, which came with three sides, a few appetizers, salad, etc. it was absolutely amazing, steak was tender and delicious. The waiters couldn't have been nicer and I have to say the cocktails are amazing! Definitely the best margaritas by far in Westchester! The restaurant itself is very pretty, we sat upstairs, which was private and perfect. Everybody is beyond accommodating. I will definitely be back!

Guac with salsas (we've already dug in at this point)

We had a great time at La Casa. It may be a little off the beaten path as it's not in a super high traffic area, but it's really a great find. We will absolutely be coming back here. Apparently once a month they do a steak night where it's a prix fixe menu with steak and comes with drinks and apps and sides. When we came it was steak night, but since it was our first time here, we decided to do more traditional fare. We will definitely be coming back for the steak night next time around. The inside has a great vibe. It's beautiful, but comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. They left us to enjoy our meal, but checked in often enough that we didn't feel ignored. We started with the guac and salsa trio. It all felt very fresh. The chips were clearly made in house and were perfectly seasoned and crispy. The salsa were a traditional salsa, a salsa verde, and then this kind of chili oil and nut concoction that was both unusual and delightful. It had great depth of flavor and it paired really well with the guac (I put a dollop on top when the chips with guac and it brought out the flavors really well). We shared the steak quesadilla as an appetizer and it was the best part of the meal (which is saying a lot). The Oaxaca cheese had the perfect cheese pull, the steak had great flavor and overall it was bright and fresh. We also got the camarones a la diabla (shrimp in red sauce over beans) and enchiladas verde. It was all simple food that was elevated, done brightly, with a good depth of flavor. I would say the two entrees were hearty and almost rustic because of the simplicity of it. We left very happy and full. Overall, the food was clean, filling, and delicious. The service was very nice, and the ambiance is great. Definitely a place that we will come back to repeatedly. (I took pics, but we had already dug in to our starters before I thought to take pics)

Excellent food, great service and really fun and accommodating ambiance for all occasions. Great for families, couples, work groups, etc. Super clean too. Food is consistent with the Bronxville location which is great to bring this further north. Love the salsas, a must have really. And the balance of the tacos, mole, ribs, and salads were also excellent. Great work! We will be back.

My visit was odd from beginning to end. The staff was very nice (like really, really nice), but the service was terrible! It literally took 25 mins to get a round of drinks. Several errors were made in the items we ordered. The portions were exceptionally small. You should definitely over order. My party of four ordered two orders of guac, 4 entrees, and a salad... and we actually stopped for snacks on the way home. But here's the thing: the food was good. Legit good. The space was just OK...clean and fine, but nothing slick about it. For a place that markets itself as upscale, it missed the mark IMHO.

Vegan chorizo quesadilla

I have been to the La Casa Bronxville multiple times and when my friend invited me to try the vegan options at the new Purchase location, how could I say no? I had previously dined here when it was Tredici, but I really liked what they did with the interior. After starting off with some drinks (I stuck with a virgin mojito and my friend had a Bloody Mary), we sampled a few items from their vegan menu. The chips and guac and the equites were great apps, though the vegan chorizo quesadillas were my favorite! Will definitely be back!

Daughter's baby shower held in lovely private dining room. She was thrilled; it was perfect! Food delicious with great menu, friendly staff, wonderful service. High marks from all guests. We all agree this will be a favorite and can't wait to return. Thank you Francesca for your professionalism and kindness. Madeline M

Mahi mahi tacos
Morgan B.

Great food! Upscale Mexican, really enjoyed everything but the standouts were the mahi mahi tacos, guac and corn appetizer. We were seated downstairs at first and it was very noisy, we were able to move up stairs and it was significantly better! The service was good, our waiter made great recommendations. They made a mistake with the bill and we weren't going to say anything but they over heard us talking about it and they corrected it without us asking! I'm excited to go back and try some other things on the menu!

Food and service were excellent - a varied menu too. Esquites, salsa macha, quesadillas, tortilla soup - all better than most. Will be back.

We had unsweetened iced teas, and the kids' seltzer came in a kid-sized cup. After ordering, we were served cornbread sticks, which were really good and a hit with my son. Elwood also brought crayons and paper for him, which was a thoughtful touch. We started with the gator nuggets and frickles. The gator nuggets were our favorite appetizer. The frickles were good, but the batter was fairly thick, which made the pickle flavor a little subtle. For my entrée, I had the fried chicken with collard greens and mac and cheese. The chicken was nicely crispy and came with four pieces, though it was a little overcooked for my taste. The collard greens were on the sweet side, and the mac and cheese could have used a bit more flavor. The highlight of our visit was the service. Elwood was friendly, attentive, and struck the perfect balance of checking in without being overbearing. Overall, the food was a bit mixed for us, but the excellent service, family-friendly touches, and pleasant outdoor seating made for an enjoyable experience. We'll be back to try some of the other menu items.

The food was delicious, we all agreed that the chicken quesadilla was one of the best we've ever had. My friends had a burger and fish and chips, we shared a home made brownie à la mode. I recommend Kelly's hand down. Cheers

The trio and their families all live in Greenwich. Collectively, they were all sick of taking their families out to dinner and the bill adding up to hundreds of dollars. They also realized that Greenwich was one of the few towns in Connecticut that didn't have a brewery. The business partners made it their mission to open their own family-friendly brewpub where consumers could get good craft beer as well as quality food that didn't break the bank. When a space previously home to LobsterCraft became available, the partners jumped at the chance to move in. I recently visited Greenwich Brewing Company for the first time. I was heading to a concert nearby, so I thought I would stop in a grab some beers and bites for a pre-show dinner. I noticed right away that GBC has a nautical theme. The logo features an anchor, and the entrance wall features the name of the brewpub spelled out in nautical flags. The place is a little on the smaller side, cozy and inviting; there's seating for about 52 customers. I pulled up a seat at the bar and looked over the menu. Some of the staff informed me that they were celebrating their one-year anniversary and had some menu specials. To drink, I ordered a sampler flight that featured "Day Sailing" (Strawberry Lemonade Sour), "Oktoberfest" (Märzen), "Hop Anchor" (New England IPA), and "Catamaranic" (Hazy Double IPA). My favorite of the flight was the Oktoberfest, and I ordered a full pour afterwards. I also noticed that there were no beer tanks anywhere to be found on the premises. A staff member informed me that all beer is currently brewed off-site. They hope to move to a larger location in the future where brewing can be done in-house. Overall, GBC's beer is ok. It's their food menu, however, where they really shine. I first started off with some delicious "Toasted Pretzel Logs" (w/ Cardinal Red beer cheese sauce & stone ground mustard). Then I finished with the "Hot Honey Chicken" (2 tenders, hot honey drizzle, shredded mustard slaw, pimento cheese, on a roll, served w/ fries). It was phenomenal! My only complaint was that the bun was a little too small; it was no match for those massive tenders. I ended up eating most of it with a knife and fork as it fell apart. That aside, it was a delicious sandwich! If you're looking for an affordable, family-friendly place in Greenwich to grab some good beers and bites, then head to GBC!
