This restaurant blew my mind like I couldn't believe this was in Westchester first of all service, fire ambience fire location fire it was just so beautiful the drink outstanding every single margarita was like 10 star so fresh so delicious the strawberry was my favorite, but the Pina was amazing hibiscus even the other cocktail. Every taco I had was flavorful and wonderful like Mexico. The sauces were amazing. I actually think the shrimp Diablo was my favorite because it was a cross between Korean Italian and Mexican food very memorable the sauce for the steak was amazing. Highly recommend. First time here. I loved it! We had the prefix steak dinner for two, which came with three sides, a few appetizers, salad, etc. it was absolutely amazing, steak was tender and delicious. The waiters couldn't have been nicer and I have to say the cocktails are amazing! Definitely the best margaritas by far in Westchester! We had a great time at La Casa. It may be a little off the beaten path as it's not in a super high traffic area, but it's really a great find. We will absolutely be coming back here. Apparently once a month they do a steak night where it's a prix fixe menu with steak and comes with drinks and apps and sides. When we came it was steak night, but since it was our first time here, we decided to do more traditional fare. We will definitely be coming back for the steak night next time around. The inside has a great vibe. It's beautiful, but comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. They left us to enjoy our meal, but checked in often enough that we didn't feel ignored. We started with the guac and salsa trio. It all felt very fresh. The chips were clearly made in house and were perfectly seasoned and crispy. The salsa were a traditional salsa, a salsa verde, and then this kind of chili oil and nut concoction that was both unusual and delightful. It had great depth of flavor and it paired really well with the guac (I put a dollop on top when the chips with guac and it brought out the flavors really well). We shared the steak quesadilla as an appetizer and it was the best part of the meal (which is saying a lot). The Oaxaca cheese had the perfect cheese pull, the steak had great flavor and overall it was bright and fresh. We also got the camarones a la diabla (shrimp in red sauce over beans) and enchiladas verde. It was all simple food that was elevated, done brightly, with a good depth of flavor. I would say the two entrees were hearty and almost rustic because of the simplicity of it. We left very happy and full. Overall, the food was clean, filling, and delicious. The service was very nice, and the ambiance is great. Definitely a place that we will come back to repeatedly. Food was a 10 for Westchester service was basically a 0. Do they even have a system? Waited 30 minutes before getting drinks. Wait staff was indifferent to us. We had to grab them multiple times to make an order or clean off. Food was exceptional ...zero complaints ...but please get your service act together or you will go away like every other Westchester hotspot that cuts service corners. read more

I'm sad to write this because I really enjoy the LaCasa in Bronxville but the service was so incredibly bad they need to figure stuff out. We somehow had several waiters, but no one to help. When they gave us 3 orders of ice cream for a table of 6 with no spoons. When we asked for spoons we got an annoyed look and a "well how many?" They forgot 3 meals for our kids. When we asked they said "well did you order them". The whole table heard us order them. They never comped anything or offered anything as an apology, just asked if we still wanted the meals. We had to track down waiters for drinks, to order dessert, and the check. Icing on the cake was my handicapped mom having to climb the 3 flights of stairs to the bathroom because there's no bathroom on the first floor, which I'm pretty sure is not ADA compliant. read more

Food is consistent with the Bronxville location which is great to bring this further north. Love the salsas, a must have really. My visit was odd from beginning to end. The staff was very nice (like really, really nice), but the service was terrible! It literally took 25 mins to get a round of drinks. Several errors were made in the items we ordered. The portions were exceptionally small. You should definitely over order. My party of four ordered two orders of guac, 4 entrees, and a salad... and we actually stopped for snacks on the way home. But here's the thing: the food was good. Legit good. The space was just OK...clean and fine, but nothing slick about it. For a place that markets itself as upscale, it missed the mark IMHO. read more

I have been to the La Casa Bronxville multiple times and when my friend invited me to try the vegan options at the new Purchase location, how could I say no? I had previously dined here when it was Tredici, but I really liked what they did with the interior. After starting off with some drinks (I stuck with a virgin mojito and my friend had a Bloody Mary), we sampled a few items from their vegan menu. Came here because our friends recommended it. Food was very good but the service was terrible. The waiter forgot my dinner -- everyone else was served and I had to wait 10 minutes for food. The waiter never came back to check on us or ask about dessert and I had to get up and go to the hostess stand to get our bill. Everyone kept apologizing but no one did anything like offer dessert or comp my meal. They kept telling me the waiter was new but there's a big difference between "new and trying" versus "new and incompetent". He didn't even know the dishes on the menu when we ordered. We got waters shortly after arrival but we kept waiting for our server to put drinks in for us but we had to wave her down just to get an attitude from her. The worst restaurant and service I have ever experienced. We waited almost an hour just for water In order to get a drink I had to go to the bar myself after repetedly asking for our drinks. The waiters/bussboys were walking around not knowing what to do or what table to deliver the food to. Our food order took over an hour just to get some chips and Guac. The desert although they offered a couple free for the bad service never came after 20 minutes and at this point almost know one was left in the restaurant. The staff could not have been nicer, friendly, checked in during the dinner. The restaurant was clean, music appropriate, and not too loud. I asked if they did a frozen margarita, and was told yes, we can do that. What I received, was a margarita, served over crushed ice. It was not a blended drink. Very disappointed. My wife and I both ordered fajitas, I ordered the chicken, she ordered the mixed grill. She said she couldn't tell whether there was any steak, and that the shrimp were partial shrimp two small pieces kind of just the tails. That was disappointing as well. Margarita took about 1 hour to come- they forgot it 3 times. The chicken quesadilla also took about 30 plus minutes. Then we ordered more food and they forgot the vegetable quesadilla and never brought it, and were barely apologetic- they just said "oh we didn't charge you". La Casa Purchase's Brunch is wonderful. There's a brunch menu which includes omelets with bacon and sausage, or Huevos Bisteca, or Huevos Rancheros and flour cheese steak quesadillas. The Esquittes is a personal favorite of all of us -- roasted corn with cotija cheese, espazote and chile. You never saw two orders disapear faster. I especially liked the quesadillas! The "bottomless" punch and the infused marqueritas / pina coladas are delicious and a giant leap above fruity frozen marquarita mix machines at chain Mexican restaurants, so enjoy. We savored all the fresh ingredients from the tortilla chips to the guacamole to the choice of salsas. Desserts, if you're not already full, sre phenomenally, thoughtful and tasty. There were 6 of us and the service was impeccable - from filling our specialty drinks to always delivering our water or chips basket. it was scorching hot outside but they had air conditioning that really cooled me down.then I was greeted by a nice person who lead me to a table, the decor was amazing and the service was remarkable! The appetizers came so quickly I thought they had skateboarded around the restaurant to give me my food! The waitress that was serving me was super nice she even did a check in every 5 minutes! Then the corn came and it was spicy but the cheese balanced it out and gave it that soft finish! The guacamole was smooth and crunchy with all the tomatoes, and it really hit the spot when you ate the cracker with it. Last was the quesadilla.
