I was craving the pork chop, smothered, and onions, and had to go there for dinner! We started with the popcorn shrimp, which are always crispy and perfect. Then we moved onto the fabulous pork chop, which was juicy and perfect. Everybody is so nice here. Drinks are flowing and the hurricanes are delicious. Love this place!

It's been a long time since we've been here. Being as we live in CT it can be a pain to drive to, but it's worth it. The portions are always large and fresh!! The gator nuggets, either fried or blackened always hit the spot! Now I don't know if the fried pickles are a new addition, but I'm totally here for them! Thanks for the service and pleasantness

The fried chicken is IT!! Crispy, flavorful, tender and juicy!! I'll go back for the fried chicken again and again. The cornmeal coated fish and chips were also very yummy. The fried foods did not feel or taste greasy. How??? We also had the mussels in red sauce...the sauce was rich and smoky; really good!! Our server was super friendly, warm, and attentive. We will be going back for sure!

Went for a late lunch. The location is off the main roads so it's secluded. There was street parking. The ambiance was warm and inviting. We were greeted and seated quickly. The staff was friendly and attentive. The catfish Po'Boy I ordered was seasoned and cooked well. The steamed mussels in red sauce is a must order if you come here. On my next visit, I will be looking forward to the jambalaya. Highly recommended with two thumbs up!

Ok experience at Rye Roadhouse. Starting my with the good, the atmosphere is fun, lively and unique. Not your average Westchester joint -- more cozy, Irish/old-school barry feel that will make you feel you're much further away from NYC than you actually are. Service was fine, but nothing to write a yelp review about. The food was the disappointing part. We ordered a steak sandwich and blackened mahi mahi, each with sides of sweet potato fries and a garden salad. Steak sandwich was good, but the fish's seasoning was overpowering and the fries lacked crispness and flavor. Hope my next visit is more successful.

The menu includes Creole Gumbo, Black Bean Soup, Popcorn Shrimp, and Crabcakes, with various salads, fajitas, and sandwiches, emphasizing Cajun and Creole cuisine.

We were excited to find this gem after we visited a local walking trail. The food was delicious and the service although a little slow taking our order was great after that. The cornbread and cinnamon butter was wonderful surprise. I ordered the portobello sliders and my husband ordered the shrimp pi boy with sweet potato fries! Both were delicious. We would definitely come back!

I would say that this establishment was ok to good. It had a very cool 1800s pub feel to it. The lighting was ok and the chairs were hard without cushions and it might be fine for some and a little tough on the back for others. The acoustics were ok, albeit worse than I expected given the number of people and the comfy feel. Our waitress was attentive to some extent. Maybe fair to good. I'm The nachos were generously sized looked magnificent with plentiful and well proportioned ingredients. I think they could have used more of a kick and a little more bite since they were a bit bland. Maybe some pepper Jack or other cheese or some drizzled barbecue sauce might have helped too. I'd definitely give them another chance. The wings were ok. They were incomparable to places that are famous for their wings like Candlelight Inn or Sherwoods. Maybe they didn't need the breading? They were a little mushy and tasted just fine and were fair to good but not great. As the English would say, quite good. The ribs seemed as though they were cooked and cut into their individual pieces and then recooked. Not fried but maybe they were put under the salamander? They were slightly crisp which is not to mean they were not tasty-- they were good, perhaps due to the slight crisp and the BBQ sauce that worked well. We asked a diner at another table who said the fried chicken was delicious. Service 3.5 Food 3.5 Ambiance 3 Overall score 3.33 I'll come back and I think there is a chance they could hit a 4. This time closer to 3 than a 4 tjo

Chicken fried steak - not on the normal menu. This is an occasional weekend special but I think it should be a regular item! - A meal featuring chicken fried steak topped with gravy, served with green beans and mashed potatoes on a white plate.

The ambiance is a fun, casual, rustic venue. A little of a random spot and difficult to find parking but once you're inside, you realize it's some what of a local spot! We drove 20-30 minutes just to try their chicken fried steak special. As a native Texan, I can never find chicken fried steak in the north east, so when I heard this place was doing a special this weekend only, I had to stop by! Free corn bread was amazing with their special butter. The meatloaf was also very very good! I don't know why they give you an option of blacken or grilled but we got the grilled meatloaf. I had food envy of every table around us too. Kids menu was awesome as well. Everything came in hefty portions. Would love to try it again on another chicken fried steak weekend!

The food was average, location was great, service was terrible. In two hours we were never asked if we wanted another drink or anything else, water was not refilled. We had to find someone to pay the bill.

Just saw this on my way back from CT - is it easy to navigate to from the train?

I wouldn't try to walk there from train station but all the local taxis know how to get there. Enjoy!

One thing that really stood out from my first visit was how welcoming the chef and owner is. He took a moment to talk to us, and told me he named the restaurant after his daughter, which made the whole experience feel even more personal. You can tell he cares about the food and the people who come in. The entire staff has been just as friendly and attentive every time. The food has been consistently excellent. I tried everything on the aperitivo menu once and was surprised by how many options there are and how fairly everything is priced. It is a smart way to sample different dishes before a full dinner. The bikini sandwiches with the truffle flavor were amazing, and the bolognese has become the dish I look forward to the most. Every plate feels thoughtful and comforting. Talia has quickly become one of my favorite places to eat. Great food, good people, and a warm atmosphere. I'm excited to keep visiting and to see it grow. I love supporting good people. I cannot stress enough how friendly and welcoming the owner/chef and staff are. You won't be disappointed with the food! TLDR: Prefer Talia over Felice any day too. Felice is so pretentious and unwelcoming and the food is mid IMO

They are a newer restaurant, so I'm hoping it's just growing pains. Will definitely be going back in a few months.
